I’m not your target market, but I love y’all anyway
I find Sam and Shaan’s banter to be one of the best in podcasting. I’ve been a podcast listener for 10 years, mostly business oriented ones specifically for women. But I was always missing that effortless enjoyment of actual business. The hard numbers, the opinionated takes. My favorite episodes are just Sam and Shaan but I have loved some of their guests too. They make me feel like I’m a part of their world when I’m obviously not as a biracial 35 year old woman. Great show y’all and appreciate you bringing awesome content every week.

Better than cocaine
I listen to all my podcasts in Up Next order because finding episodes by title got boring. When these guys talk through my speakers, I go from tired to inspired. One of them said he is so influenceable and that’s how I am when I listen. Everything sounds like a good idea!

Easily my favorite pod
Amazing job with the interesting guests you host! It has led me to many other pods and books this past year. While I am not a founder, I have grown one client from 700k to 15 Million a year while in my job. Your content is still relatable to me. One ask for 2026, please highlight more successful ladies stories! You will gain a bigger audience with the successful Gen X working moms who have crushed it. 5 stars all around for your both!

This podcast lights my brain on FIRE!!
I have been binging on this pod lately and I love it! Both Sam and Shann are great story tellers and they have so many interesting guests on! I get so many ideas on how to improve my business and now I want to start 10 more! So much fun to watch on YouTube. Highly recommend :)

Used to be great
This podcast could be a tweet. Used to be great content but now it’s just too much with Elmo and PeterTheil fan boys clubs. Go join the FAllInPod. These guys used to be originals. Unsubscribed

Good, but too long
Fan of this show but 2 suggestions for improvment : 1) It would be great if Shann can speak less/more concisely: his chiming during interviews often prevents from guests’ sharing their insights fully. 2) Sam needs to prepare what he wants to deliver before the show. Sam’ comments many times are not framed well, so a chunk of substance is missing. For the matter worse, Shann chimed in if he saw some gap in Sam’s comment. Want to hear Sam’s thought better and learn.

In describing where he wants to live ($20 million New York apartment) he says “I don’t like Trump” for no apparent reason.

Always oversimplifying topics
My First Million consistently gives off strong snake-oil vibes by dramatically underestimating the amount of real work required to build and operate actual businesses, especially in their recent conversations about franchising. As a multi-unit franchise operator myself, it’s honestly painful to listen to them casually suggest that you can just “buy 30–50 units,” hire a couple of people, and magically collect $10M a year in mostly passive cash flow. That’s not how franchising—or any operator-led business—works in the real world. Day-to-day execution, staffing, training, turnover, compliance, local market issues, and constant problem-solving are the job, especially before true scale, and they repeatedly gloss over these realities as if they’re trivial details. The result is content that overpromises, underdelivers, and dangerously misleads listeners into thinking complex, high-risk businesses are easy money plays when in reality they require relentless involvement, operational discipline, and years of grind to get right.

Just two bros who add no value
Title says all. I liked it at first but realized quickly that don’t actually have any useful advice. Not even sure what they did to become successful other than this podcast. Seems like their previous “exits” weren’t that lucrative. They’re just two conmen creeps that waste time boring out over Elon and Trump and your typical Silicon Valley frat bro nonsense. Look through their episodes, they rarely feature any women at all. It’s always the same kinda man. The Rippling Deel episode was particularly icky to me. They made fun of Parker congrats and then Shawn proceeded to talk about how he used to try to pick up girls by grinding on them at the club. Disgusting creep behavior. Pretty sure this sums up his views on women. Also Sam didn’t call him out on that behavior either. That was the final straw for me. I can look past the overall touchiness and lack of diversity as long as they promote successful people but it all just paints a clear picture of how they see women and what their values are. Drop shipping fake lying schemes are what they promote and worship.

Longtime Listener
Immeasurable value. I enjoy the banter, the interviews and always leave with something to ponder. And thanks for the incredible Unreasonable Hospitality interview. I’m one of the listeners who’s never heard of the book and I took so much away from the conversation. Thanks guys! p.s. I don’t fit your typical demographic - 54yo creative woman - but I’m a longtime fan!

Outstanding Podcast
Shaan & Sam check all of the boxes for the things that make this podcast outstanding. You can tell with every episode that they put their hearts and souls into it. I love their energy, knowledge, overall content and how they interact with each guest. And neither of them ever have a problem pushing back on their guests (if needed).

Came for the Topics, Stayed for the Banter
These two guys…It’s like getting a dose of comedy mixed with fascinating business topics in one. The back-and-forth between them makes this one of the most refreshing podcasts I listen to. I love the guests they interview, the business ideas they share, and the random riffing on whatever is top of mind — I’m hooked.

Same old same old in the best way possible.
I’ve been listening to this podcast since they started on two tacky red gaming chairs. Even with their somewhat newly found success in podcasting and other ventures I feel like I’m still listening to the same Sam and Shaan. Two genuine guys with a sense of humor that openly talk about money, interesting business ideas, and real life. It’s the one podcast I have to listen to every episode because it always leaves me more inspired.

Great/Funny
I find myself listening to a lot of podcasts. I’m a husband, dad and business owner and MFM is my go to when I want to hear about great business content that has me laughing out loud. Thank you MFM.

The BEST business podcast, hands-down!
I rarely take the time to review things, but I just can’t help myself with this one. I LOVE this podcast and get stoked every time I see a new episode drop. It’s inspiring, educational, uplifting, entertaining…I could go on and on. I’ve been a full time entrepreneur for almost 5 years now and this podcast strikes every cord of my world. Loyal follower of these guys for life!

Great Show, but how to connect?
Let me just say that I think this show hits the nail on the head. It’s just great!! I took to listening to Guy Raz’s “How I Built This,” which has a totally different vibe. It’s measured but stifled. In comparison, this show is fun, boyish at times (which is awesome) and very meaty. I just wanna know how to ask direct questions of the hosts or their guests. What is the best way to reach out? Thanks so much

Hospitals don’t want to advertise in newspapers
Great that the newspaper biz still has life, but please don’t give people false hope about who their buyers would be. Most hospitals and health systems in the U.S. use digital marketing to reduce wasteful spending, especially because there are so many eyes on their spending outside of care delivery. A little bit of misleading info in that last episode, but still informative.

Raw milk
Hearing these guys talk about being excited to consume raw milk because it has warnings on it declaring Not Safe for Human Consumption and that appeals to their rebellious souls has me losing faith for humanity. What a deeply irresponsible thing to advocate for to such a large audience when the research leaves no room for doubt that raw milk is exceedingly dangerous.

My favorite podcast
I've been listening for a few years and I'm still hooked. Sam and Shaan are great together and they talk about business in a way that feels accessible to me, while others are a bit too "inside baseball." Even with their success, they're still curious and enthusiastic, almost like beginners, which I really enjoy.

Give me the guests bio in first 5 minutes
I like the content but ABSOLUTELY despise that you do not have a proper introduction for the guest. I want to know their name, background and what company they are from. You start your podcast off with nothing to inform the listener of who the guest is!

Love it
I’m a female attorney and small business owner and I wish I would’ve had this podcast when I was in college and still trying to figure out what to do. I love how many different ideas are thrown in on how to be successful. Love the banter and the random history lessons thrown in between. I think the theme that continues to be apparent no matter the founder or amount of money they have is they all wish to live a more normal life with family which is a great reminder you don’t need a million to be rich. I’m constantly sharing episodes to my husband or my employees.

Love this podcast!
I got into entrepreneurship a bit late in life and have found the stories told through the interviews on this podcast truly inspiring and educational! I can’t get enough of this podcast and can’t wait for the release of each episode. Great job Sam and Shaan!

Lost me when you called Elon the greatest entrepreneur of all time. Hard to square anything you say.

In the Weeds with the Richest People
I’m one of their self-professed “tens of women” followers. I like that they take as much time as it takes to go deeper with their interviewees rather than regurgitating the same tired questions everyone else asks. And they try to remember to bring the conversation back to how the interviewee actually made their first break, a la the title of their podcast. They’re in the thick of it, spending time with the highest earners and giving us a behind-the-scenes look at what rich life really looks like for these people and how they got and stay there. As to be expected from any of the finance bro pods, they almost exclusively interview men and would never deign to touch on the topic of lifting women up or acknowledging the role their spouses play in making both family and rich life possible. But there are great feminist finance pods out there for us women working to leg up. It’s just not these guys’ audience. One star off for the compulsive Musk fan-boying. Don’t be afraid to stay true to your roots, boys, and fly that geeky, compassionate flag proud on occasion.

Ignorance is bliss
One of the hosts is just so clueless about basic facts, I had to stop listening. He seems blissfully unaware of socioeconomic data and very solid research on the dynamics of wealth and opportunity in the U.S., including some important experiments on venture capital. I am a scientist, and his fantasy worldview just continued to grate. I enjoy listening to the other host, including to his other podcast—but I have to wonder why he partners with this guy. There are better sources of inspiration and information.

EASILY THE BEST PODCAST
I start every morning with this podcast and will relisten to episodes. Also-the hosts don’t realize it yet, but they’re already my best friends.

Good podcast - sometimes a little slow
Good thought provoking ideas and topics - sometimes a little long winded with side stories and some off topic Items… but I like what they review and cover regarding guests, other companies and potential ideas.

Alex Hormozi?
The fact that you guys had the grifter Alex Hormozi on the pod really disappointed me. Do next week’s guests include Tai Lopez and Grant Cardone? This dude has spent years meticulously crafting how to most convincingly sound like he knows what he’s talking about, but still squirms and refuses to answer the most basic of questions when pressed. You guys didn’t throw him any curveballs and he still wouldn’t say anything of substance the entire episode. Shameful display guys

Way too many ads
I enjoy the show but the number of ads has gotten absurd. 4 midrolls in a 23 minute episode, get outta here.

Chillen with the homies
I feel like I’m in the room with some of my friends just kicking it. They prepare some awesome stories, go off on weird tangents and have a unique view on business. The guys are cool but not too cool for school. I have listened for years and enjoyed how the show continues to evolve. Some of the reviews in here are absolutely wild! Sure, the show is not for everyone but I feel it is 💯% worth giving a try. I learn something after each listen. No small boy stuff here!

Great content
Love these dudes and their banter! They get into topics of business that are next level! Most importantly, they just have fun with the content. Can’t thank them enough

Immediate listen
I don’t think I’m the pod’s typical listener (41 F), but I always listen to the new episodes as soon as I see it pop up as available. I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends, laughing, odd tangents, and also inspiring stories. I did also really appreciate the recent episode where Sam shared about being sober. I’ve been sober 10 years myself, and it’s always nice to have other examples of people thriving and sharing something potentially vulnerable. Thanks guys!

3 Things You Need…
…To Outperform 99% of the Competition. Apparently that includes over 26 minutes of just hyping up the UFC. I don’t mind the odd tangent but maybe make the episode about the actual subject matter. Use the UFC as an example if you want but quit wasting my time with literal drivel. Crusty silicone valley tech bro energy fr.
