Be our guest as we invite you to pull up a chair and join us for dinner at VIVO Italian Kitchen™ inside Universal CityWalk™ Orlando. Instead of reviewing the restaurant after the fact, we did something different — we hit record right at the table so you could hear our real-time thoughts as the evening unfolded. From the moment the appetizer arrived to the last sip of our mocktails, every reaction, laugh, and side conversation was captured live.
We each ordered something different, from handmade pasta entrées crafted with heirloom family recipes to creative zero-proof drinks that gave the night a refreshing twist. Along the way, we share our honest takes on presentation, portion size, service, and overall atmosphere. You’ll hear the clink of silverware, the banter over the check, and the little details that make dining at VIVO a uniquely immersive experience.
But of course, because it’s us, the night also went a little sideways — leading to a surprisingly deep (and funny) conversation about VIVO’s bathrooms, which turned out to be some of the most unusual we’ve ever seen at a theme park restaurant. By the end, we’re not just talking food, but also sinks, stalls, and the unwritten etiquette of handwashing.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to dine at VIVO Italian Kitchen™, this episode delivers the flavors, the fun, and even a few unexpected laughs.

We’re hitting record from some of Walt Disney World’s most stunning deluxe resorts while answering a lightning round of listener-style questions all about the podcast, Disney, and beyond! From the first trip that made us truly fall in love with the parks to the spark that turned that passion into nearly 800 episodes, we’re pulling back the curtain on the moments that shaped Main Street Magic.
We’ll share what episode felt like a milestone, our favorite collaborations, and even the bloopers that had us cracking up. We’ll debate which Magic Kingdom resort we’d actually live in, which EPCOT pavilion we’d move into for a week, and the bold Disney hot takes we’ll defend to the end. Plus, we dive into what recording inside an attraction might look like, the series we’re excited to launch next, and where we’d host a dream live show.
Along the way, we reflect on what we’ve learned about each other, which Universal land secretly rivals Disney, the snack that needs to be fired, and what hitting 800 episodes means to us. It’s a mix of memories, milestones, and mayhem—recorded in the heart of deluxe Disney magic.

We’re kicking off a brand-new series: Resort Wars — where Walt Disney World resorts go head-to-head, and only one can walk away with the crown! First up, it’s a Value Resort throwdown between Disney’s Pop Century and Disney’s Art of Animation.
Pop Century opened in 2003 and celebrates the nostalgia of the 1950s through the 1990s with larger-than-life icons and over 2,800 rooms. Meanwhile, Art of Animation debuted in 2012 with immersive theming from beloved Disney and Pixar films, offering standard Little Mermaid rooms and spacious family suites themed to Cars, The Lion King, and Finding Nemo.
We pit these two fan favorites against each other across seven battle rounds — including theming & atmosphere, rooms & comfort, dining, transportation, recreation, overall value, and listener feedback. Who takes the win for pool bars and food courts? Which resort is more budget-friendly? And where will your family find the perfect blend of magic and convenience?
Plus, we share results from our listener poll and highlight firsthand experiences and opinions from our amazing community to help settle the debate.
Whether you’re planning your next Disney vacation or just love a good Disney debate, this episode is packed with insight, tips, and a few laughs along the way. So grab your tie-dye cheesecake or swing by the Big Blue Pool — it’s time to battle it out in Resort Wars: Pop Century vs. Art of Animation!

This episode is packed with your questions from Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, covering everything from practical Disney planning tips to fun “what if” scenarios. We tackle whether the luggage service at Value Resorts for Southwest Airlines might hint at the return of something like Disney’s Magical Express, and share our thoughts on the biggest price gouges at Walt Disney World (looking at you, $199 Minnie Van airport rides).
We imagine what Villains Land rides could look like, guess how many gallons of ice cream we’ve consumed in the parks, and share our top three favorite quick-service spots. We also explore underrated Disney experiences, ways to improve multi-generational trips, and even the quirks of bus stop numbering across the parks.
From reimagining entire lands and moving them between parks, to the best age for bringing a baby to Disney, to helping first-time EPCOT guests get the most out of Festival of the Arts — we’ve got it all. Plus, we share advice for planning big family trips, budgeting, and whether Disney could pull off a Halloween Horror Nights–style event.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned Disney veteran, this episode delivers insider tips, imaginative ideas, and plenty of Disney fun straight from our listeners.

We’re opening up the Main Street Magic Mailbag once again and answering your burning questions straight from Instagram! From quirky pre-trip routines and our most-anticipated Disney Destiny cruise spots, to what attractions we’d scrap, revamp, or ride all day long, no topic is off-limits.
We chat about the future of Universal content on the show, whether to Park Hop or stick to one park per day, and what it would be like to spend 24 hours as a Disney character.
You’ll hear our thoughts on which park additions could take things to the next level, the fate of Discovery Island, and even what jobs our pets would have if they were human. Plus, we dive into VIP dreams, runDisney plans, and the one thing that caught us off guard when starting the podcast.
We also share the new things we’ve learned about each other lately, our picks for upcoming movies and shows, and what themed land we’d add to Epic Universe. We’re diving deep into the Main Street Magic Mailbag for our latest Listener Q&A session! You sent the questions — and we’re answering them all with the usual mix of tips, laughs, and behind-the-scenes banter.
From our Facebook community, we tackle everything from Disney resorts we’ve never stayed at (yes, there are still a few!) to which classic attractions we somehow haven’t experienced. We chat about the possibility of a Main Street Magic Zero Proof Crawl & Meet-Up, compare Typhoon Lagoon vs. Blizzard Beach now that water park access is included with resort check-in, and reflect on the nostalgic Disney favorites that still hit us in the feels (even if our kids aren’t on board).
We also get personal — sharing how we met, which international Disney parks are on our bucket list, and brainstorming what a Disney-themed non-alcoholic bar would look like. Spoiler: we’re all in.
Over on X (Twitter), things get delightfully random — like which Disney character is most likely to have a PR meltdown Coldplay-style, what we’d grab in a $500 LEGO Store shopping spree, and what hobby might take over our lives if Disney disappeared tomorrow (gasp!).
Tune in for answers, shoutouts, and a lot of fun — and stay tuned for more ways to send in your questions for future episodes!

We’re diving into something every Disney guest needs… but no guidebook provides: the unwritten rules of Walt Disney World. These are the 10 Disney Commandments — the silent codes of theme park conduct that keep the magic flowing and the meltdowns to a minimum.
We’re talking about the things like why you should never stop smack in the middle of Main Street, how mobile order can save your sanity (and your stomach), and why blocking a fireworks view with your kid on your shoulders may earn you a serious side-eye.
We’ll cover food court table hoarding, stroller navigation, rope drop etiquette, and the all-important art of not walking four across like a human wall. Oh — and we’ve got a whole commandment devoted to not judging grown-ups who still love Disney, thank you very much.
Plus, we’ll remind you of the ultimate rule: Be kind to Cast Members. They are the real magic.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a Disney pro, these tips, tricks, and truths will make your next trip smoother, kinder, and just a little more magical. Tune in, laugh with us, and consider this your official guide to theme park harmony.

We recorded a full “live dining” review right from our table — and let’s just say The Edison gave us plenty to talk about (and sweat over).
This wasn’t your average restaurant recap. We hit record at the table and let the conversation flow — capturing our unfiltered reactions, food-fueled tangents, and, yes, even the spice-induced meltdowns in real time. From the second our zero-proof drinks arrived, we were in review mode, starting with the Heart & Soul and LZP mocktails — both creative, refreshing, and worthy of sipping slowly.
Then came the standout: the Maryland Blue Crab Dip. Hot, creamy, packed with flavor, and shockingly legit for being in Florida, this dish brought us straight back to Chesapeake Bay roots. The naan was warm and soft, the crab flavor spot-on, and the addition of a side of tortilla chips was the cherry on top (or the crunch on the bottom?).
Finally, we tackled the Flavors of Florida Hot Honey High Voltage Chicken Sandwich — and it lived up to the voltage warning. Spicy, sweet, peppery, and surprisingly cohesive, it might not be for the faint of heart (or weak of tastebud), but it’s a bold, fiery experience we won’t forget.
Would we do another live dining episode? Absolutely. Would we get that crab dip again? Without hesitation.

We’re recapping a whirlwind Disney weekend filled with big thrills, bold flavors, and brand-new experiences across Walt Disney World. We kick things off at Magic Kingdom, where we got our first look at the brand-new Starlight Magic Parade. We’ll share our honest thoughts on the floats, characters, music, and whether it lives up to the hype—or if it’s just Main Street Electrical 2.0 with a new glow.
Next, we head to EPCOT to dive into Test Track 3.0, the reimagining of the classic ride that now blends high-speed thrills with a touch of World of Motion nostalgia. Is it an upgrade, a downgrade, or just… different? We’ll break it all down.
Then it’s time to eat—really well. We’ll take you through our fine dining experience at Bourbon Steak, one of the top new steakhouses in Central Florida, tucked inside the Swan & Dolphin (Dolphin side) right on Disney property. And from white tablecloths to Yeti footprints, we shift gears with a quick review of our lunch at Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom.
Of course, no trip is complete without snacks! We’ll share what we grabbed from Sleepy Hollow and have some updates on the brand-new Wailulu Bar and Grill at the Polynesian Resort Tower—including zero-proof sips, sweet treats, and some surprisingly great finds. Come along for the ride!
