Long time listener & so appreciate their politics!
I love these girls. I’ve been listening since their first few episodes. NYC has always been listening but it’s so cool to see how they’ve expanded out to the rest of the country. I also appreciate that they bring up politics & let us know where they stand. So important now to see strong, financially independent, social, beautiful, and intelligent women being unapologetically themselves and hilarious to boot. Can’t recommend them more.

Love GGE
I noticed a lot of reviews coming in because Ashley and Rayna “take a stance” in our political climate and how they wish they could listen without hearing about politics. I’m just here to say THANK GOD they do. I’m not sure how you can stomach supporting people that you don’t know where they stand. The girls are hilarious and smart and GGE is my favorite part of my week! 🩷

Used to love
I just can’t listen to this anymore, it’s such a negative podcast and every change they get (specifically Ashley) they bring up politics. The episode that really was the final straw was the Liz Plank episode. It just felt embarrassing to listen to and it makes me sad cause this podcast was what made me fall in love with listening to podcasts but wow had it changed so much. I come here to escape not be reminded of every terrible thing ever.

Love it but….
I’ve been a long time listener and have loved ✨most✨ content that these two have put out. I do find it deeply interesting how these two choose to align themselves with Nick Viall despite his very traditional and somewhat controversial views. Like the most recent Snack episode they discuss feelings on age gaps. Specifically 20 something year old women and 40 something year old men. Then immediately back track what they said when referencing Nick and Natalie’s relationship. Interesting choice !

My guilty pleasure
I love listening to this podcast while I am taking a bath or cooking. It’s my guilty pleasure. I can literally pour a glass of wine and feel like my girlfriends are in the same room spilling the tea. I love the range of topics and find them to be extremely funny, entertaining, and on point about pop culture and am not bothered by their take on politics. I’ve seen the comments about them discussing politics, but how can you have a podcast in this day and age without mentioning politics? If you disagree with their hot takes, can’t you just agree to disagree? Keep doing what you’re doing GGE! Gen X-er in Texas

Krazy Kat!!!:))
I miss the old GGE
Ive subscribed to this podcast since 2018 but recently stopped bc of all the political talk. I’ve listened to them to have a little escape and laugh, not constantly be reminded of what’s going on. Can we normalize people NOT having to make a public stance? Bring back the days of having quiet opinions without putting others down. Sad to say I’m out for now, girls

Scott Galloway mention
The praise for Scott Galloway in the most recent episode was really surprising and upsetting. Will not listen anymore

What’s with all the hate?
I have seen some pretty negative reviews lately so just wanted to give the girls my 5 stars. They are entertaining, funny, relatable, and bring incredible content to single or childfree people. Much needed in this space. Love you girls

Girls Gotta Stop
Long time listener. Political talk every episode. Loved when they were funny and happy. Now it’s just anger about politics. This is no longer fun to listen to. I need an outlet to get away from what is going on in the world. It’s become a man hating and Republican hating podcast. As someone who is not into politics, I’m out. Wish them both luck and I hope at some point they go back to comedy and have more dating coaches/therapists on their show. Would love to come back at some point down the road when they are less angry.

Yikes
The comment about Erika Kirk’s head was actually disgusting. The fact that dear media is associated with this podcast is so disappointing. I doubt that the partnership is beneficial to dear media. @dearmedia, drop them

Ashley’s political rants are embarrassing
She’s such a victim of media bias and so incredibly bigoted, i get second hand embarrassment listening to her

Yes!!!
Your review on Tell Me Lies is spot on!!! Thank you!!!

Great show, always has been
Really appreciate that they take the time to acknowledge what’s going on in the world and also make me laugh weekly. Also love the guest choices!

A Girls Gotta Leave
Long time listener but this podcast is no longer for me. As a new mom my alone time is more precious and instead of feeling warm and in good spirit I find this now brings my mood down. I used to look up to these women as my older sisters but now I feel like I am the older sister. I think if I wrote in regarding my relationship with GGE their advice would be for me to leave…

Nothing but politics. Over it.
Omg they can’t stop can they. I used to listen to this show for comedy and I loved it. They can’t stop talking about it. Literally everything turns to politics. Ashley. Are you genuinely okay? They’re so embarrassing.

Used to be good
Sometimes we just need to get our minds out of real life and laugh and listen to something fun and funny. I can’t do that with this show anymore. The constant political commentary is exhausting. So much negativity, doom, and gloom politically. If I wanted to hear that I’d just watch the news. I swear, Ashley can make any show review or “hot take” political. After listening for years I have officially unfollowed.

Unfollowed
Been listening for years but the way Ashley continues to turn everything into her own political agenda is exhausting and I can no longer listen. I am not a trump supporter and I actually tend to agree with her takes, but it is so overwhelming at this point. Straight condescending and holier than thou tone at all times. I’m over it

.
ashley always circling everything back to revolve around herself or politics. i understand speaking on things happening in the world but we listen to this podcast for an escape and COMEDY.

So,so, Sooo over the political talk.
While I completely understand we live in a time where everyone with a microphone in their hand thinks they need to address our current political state, I personally am over it. I listen to podcasts to get away from politics being shoved down my throat. I have listened to them for years and while I used to enjoy the content, the current and constant political talk-I am over. At this point, Comedy needs to be switched to Political for the genre. Also, I will add for context, I am NOT a Trump supporter, but I am really tired of political content and it being shoved down my throat at any given moment. Go back to making people laugh, and cheering them up.

Sound Quality
Love them but every time they aren’t physically together the sound is horrible. So many people have long distance podcasts and you could never tell (U Up?). Makes me concerned since Rayna says she’s moving back to NYC. They already complain regularly about having to work so I anticipate the end of the podcast.

Great podcast!
Love this podcast!! It truly helped me overcome some limiting beliefs about relationships- and I laugh and am having a good time listening this podcast :)

Funny insights, sometimes problematic
I generally like this podcast because it’s funny and insightful. I think they interview great experts who share insights about really important issues facing women and other folks. That said, they tend to be very heteronormative and at times borderline homophobic and sexist in their commentary. This week’s episode, for example, Rayna sat for a pedicure next to a man who got his toenails painted, and Ashley said that he wasn’t a real man because he painted his toenails. These are the kind of outdated, gender stereotypes that contribute to patriarchy. I hope they reflect on this and do better. I generally think they’re very thoughtful and try to bring light and an equity focus to the podcast, but I think they should interrogate some of their beliefs about gender.

Out of touch
Used to listen before they became out of touch
AM1227!!
Over it
I used to listen every week. I cannot stand the political talk. If you don’t have the same political views as them, then don’t even bother. I listened for the funny content, not politics. I’m so glad they brought on the guy on the bike and he called out Ashley for calling it an ick. Ashley is nothing but a bully. I cannot listen anymore.

These two are real ones - they are truly good people
I knew about this pod for a while but became a regular listener just this year - these two are truly, truly good hearted people. So many podcast out there just looking to exploit, these two are out here spreading truth and realness….so happy to be a fan!
Damp231465
Truly unbearable
I am regularly exposed to this via my partner and I don’t know how anyone listens to this. Completely unimaginative takes, boring myopic discussion. A true waste of space.
Dano453
What are these comments
This comment section is not it…advocating for women and minorities and being against genocide in Palestine is not “too political”, it’s just being a good human who cares about change. Thanks for continuing to talk about these issues. Silence is compliance

Get a life
It’s truly so embarrassing that they talk about trump every single episode. Are yall ok?
shellpoole
Bummer they use chat gbt!
I just started listening to this podcast, actually starting with an old episode where they happen to discuss the detrimental environmental implications of chat GBT…. Just to go on months later and use it openly during the podcast. Ick

Out of touch
I genuinely used to love this podcast but they’ve become out of touch in my opinion. I’m a millennial and even I cringe at the things that come out of their mouths, particularly Ashley. The “hot takes” are often misinformed and they love to make fun of things but don’t even have the facts or stories right most of the time. It was so much better when they had Tessa around to fact check them. Honestly, I’m over it. It’s giving boomer.

The Louvre robbery isn’t funny?
I was so caught off guard when Ashley said the Louvre robbery was a funny, lighthearted cultural moment we could all bond over. Sorry but the loss of priceless historical artifacts isn’t funny or lighthearted. Just goes to show how out of touch this show has become.

A Clueless LOL
I love I have no idea what they’re talking about but they make me laugh out loud and then two days later I’m bringing up whatever I heard in a random conversation.

Unsubscribe
I’ve been a long time subscriber and this used to be such a fun listen but now it feels burdensome to be brought down by overwhelming political discussions. Sweeping statements and closed minded harsh criticisms are made of those who don’t completely align with their thoughts or beliefs. For people who boast a welcoming inclusive environment, this is incredibly segregating to feel bullied and made fun of. Not everything needs to be made a conversation on politics and religion.

Terrible
I used to listen all the time. They’re honestly so terrible and I haven’t listened in years. I’m happy to see they’re all the way down to #56 comedy podcast… just checked again they’re #125 in comedy!!! So happy they are becoming less and less known. They won’t even exist on the charts soon enough at this rate. Yay, they’re insufferable. Hehe
Lizzzloz
Please 🙄
Taylor swift should stop making music and promoting it because of the climate we are in right now. Maybe you should stop selling show tickets and shut down your vibes business? Not everything revolves around politics - maybe she is giving us all a break. And here is a hot take - you don’t have to buy anything she is selling. Ground breaking!

Insufferable
Used to enjoy listening to this podcast but I can’t event get through an episode now. Ashley is so self righteous and delusional.

Not the same
Used to listen all of the time but it’s just not the same anymore. Miss what it used to be.

Everything I’ve ever wanted
Yall make me laugh so much. Thank you for brightening my day! And thank you for talking about politics - it’s important and I enjoy it!!!

Few Facts
Brendan Carr did not fire Kimmel. Public network broadcasters need to uphold a higher level of standard to truth-telling, but even so, Kimmel was suspended by his employer, not the FCC. I understand this podcast doesn’t need to adhere to the same standards. It certainly doesn’t.

Omg such a good guest so interesting !!!

Terrible. Unsubscribed.
This podcast has become far too political and a hostile place for anyone who has differing views than they do. If you want comedic relief or to listen to a podcast that feels like fun “girl talk”, this is no longer the podcast for you.

Love the snack!
Love fun weekly content I want to hear about, and really appreciate they don’t shy away from discussing the tough stuff happening in the world.

Constantly spreading hate speech
These are the most ignorant uninformed women I have ever seen. Everything they say our government is doing to divide our country is exactly what they do. Constantly spreading misinformation with hate speech.
Fayehannah
🇮🇱❤️Israel❤️🇮🇱
I hope you all support Israel. Hearing you laugh about Hannah Einbinder’s speech saying 🙄🤮“free Palestine,” is one of the most ignorant statements I’ve heard lately. Consider all of the online social media Facebook, Instagram, TikTok bots and employees that create false propaganda about Israel, to try and create greater racist antisemitism. Jewish Lives Matter too, all worldwide 0.2% population, versus 2 billion worldwide Muslims. Jewish people are not the cause of your problems. Thank you. 🇮🇱❤️🇮🇱❤️🇮🇱

Out of Touch
These two are extremely out of touch with reality. Ashley loves to craft political statements and commentary that sound resolute in theory but crumble under any scrutiny. They love to decry corruption within government but turn a blind eye to any of that within the liberal left side of the political spectrum. It’s like they’re the mouthpiece of furthering propaganda. I let it go initially within the first few podcasts after trump was elected, but it’s EVERY.SINGLE.PODCAST at this point and it’s out of control. There’s a difference between passion and controlling emotions and these two lack any depth of emotional intelligence whatsoever. They would probably be surprised that more of their listeners actually are more moderate and may have voted republican…and that’s where their privilege and entitlement steps in- like I said completely out of touch with reality and I’m over it.

Too political
Added this podcast after listening to them on Liz Moody podcast but to much far left political nonsense. Couldn’t even make through this last one. I normally don’t unsubscribe when someone has different views as me but they take it too far.

Favorite show!
Honestly their funny banter and realness are a light in these dark times. The chemistry they have makes me want to listen even on days I’m burned out. Also love the podcast guests they have!

It’s a pick-me pod now
Stop promoting Kim Kardashian’s line! Probably won’t bc it’s a Dear Media pod. Secondly, apologize for being grossly wrong about Kendrick Lamar’s success both in and out of the music industry (Drake disrespects women, crashes/burns in the most embarrassing way, but Ashley is applauding Drake and Rayna with even less knowledge fully agrees. Two transplants who now live in LA, without any respect.) Listen to Kendrick Lamar’s track “meet the grahams” if you want to know who Drake apart from his pop hits. Then ask yourself why Drake is suing everyone except Kendrick Lamar if he is the one who said it. This pod has lost cultural relevance. You claim allyship only to be ignorant. This podcast no longer seems to be their top business priority and it reeks of pick-me energy bc of it.
