I’m glad some people like it
Personally, I don’t find that this podcast is affirming to my experience of neurodivergence. It feels a little too akin to toxic positivity and reinforces the medical model of disability, which can be very detrimental to our community. I’m glad it seems to be helpful to some women, but it’s not for me.

On the AI Interview
Tracy Otsuka’s Podcast on AI
I can hear a lot of passion in her guest (Muxin Li)’s voice.
I would just mention a couple of things. Muxin’s slight speech impediment (not pronouncing L’s or th’s intermittently, struggling with enunciation generally) is distracting as a guest, and I think some basic speech coaching could really help her be more successful as a speaker.
Secondly, the average listener knows what a synchronicity is, it’s a commonly used term.
Thirdly, Muxin is using chat gpt/AI speak throughout her discussion, but markedly in her introduction. Terms like “maestro,” “North Star,” etc. are specifically AI terms. I think chat gpt does an amazing job at convincing people about things they can use it for, but without a launched product, it’s simply hypotheticals. She is not a founder, she is in the midst of an idea stage. Chat gpt is already breaking down. Most professionals today consider it to be unusable due to hallucinations, memory issues and lack of repeatability.
It’s gotten much worse recently.
To me, she sounds delusional about AI, well meaning but lost in chat gpt hype. I can’t understand how she became a guest…? She admits she only launched her landing page today. I was very hopeful myself about AI and chat gpt, but we need to be honest about its limitations and privacy concerns (Palantir, Peter Thiel, creating a social credit score).
One of my main issues with Tracy is that she is extremely well off, and somehow always seems to drop her financial success and wealth. Trips to Italy and New York City, kids in college, multiple homes, staff, a healthy family, and it comes across as profoundly boomer and out of touch.
At one point, referring to chat gpt, she says “You can put your whole life in there?!?” Yeah, don’t do that sis. At least offer a cybersecurity warning. You’re putting your whole life into Microsoft servers.
Not to mention, it doesn’t have a solid memory. I’m not saying it’s useless, I just think both the podcaster and her guest are exceptionally uneducated to be sharing a public podcast on the topic of AI/chat GPT.
Even copy pasted scripts sound very generic and are obviously chat GPT generated.

Finally feel seen
Tracy, discovering your podcast earlier this year felt like a life raft. As someone diagnosed at 30, I was craving validation and real-life examples that didn't make me feel like I needed to "fix" myself to succeed. Every episode makes me feel less alone and more empowered. You've built something truly special here—thank you for helping me fall in love with my ADHD brain.

Great podcast
This is a great podcast with lots of guests and a deep episode bench. As someone who loves to listen to podcasts, this is such a great find. Thank you!

Shameless
I’m 52 and newly discovered ADHD. Things are making so much more sense now. If only I could get my husband to understand this. I just found this podcast yesterday and I am in love! I feel seen and understood, just because of all the relation. I don’t feel shameful anymore. And to discover the professionals out there like myself who also have ADHD is the big bonus! Thank you

Many thanks
Tracy’s podcast brings forward the most dynamic women rewriting the script on ADHD. As I like to say, “You are more than your diagnosis.” Thank you for showcasing the power of our strengths not just the deficits.

Life changing
I was diagnosed with combined type ADHD later in life after my son was born. I took the news hard and was unsure of what the future looked like for me. My therapist suggested this podcast, and it was everything I needed. Listening to everyone’s stories made me finally feel like I had found my people. The intelligent discussion and brilliant suggestions have been priceless. Tracy is truly our fairy godmother. She’s given the gift of positive emotion in this space and I couldn’t be more grateful. I read her book cover to cover (first book I’ve fully completed in more years than I’d like to admit- you all know where I’m coming from). Bravo, truly

I first found Tracy’s book on audiobooks and listened to it there which led me to the podcast. The sense of validation and hearing stories so similar to mine have provided such a healing process for myself while laying a strong foundation for my daughter who is showing many signs of early ADHD. Tracy interviews a wide variety of guest, which also provide validation in hearing that people across different lifestyles and careers have found ways to use the strength of ADHD to find success.

GRATEFUL to have found this show!
I found the book at the book store first. I then see you have a podcast. I also have a podcast. I am loving the show, and your book and knowing I am not alone. Knowing why I am how I am. Thank you for raising awareness and creating such a powerful space to educate and help so many women. 🩷🩷 I feel like I’m now not alone which feels huge. I would love to have you on my podcast.

Seen and Validated.
This series has made me laugh, given me hope, and helped me grow. I remember being up above Denver coming home from a trip to my daughter’s, staring out the window binge listening to your podcasts that I had downloaded. I knew I had adhd, but episode 78 about what does ADHD look like in women spoke to my heart in such an impactful way. There was another episode with an older lady who struggled in school… I wish I could remember her name- but she was disciplined for her tendencies and my heart just melted… anyway, spot on and so encouraging. Thank you Tracy❤️

OMG. I’m NOT alone!
I have now only listened to two episodes but each one really hit home and was SO relatable. I am grateful to not feel alone in my diagnosis and continue to learn about ADHD by listening to this podcast! Thank you!!

Great mindset shift on ADHD.
FINALLY a place that focuses on the STRENGTHS of ADHD instead of just the struggles. I was 26 when I realized I had ADHD and I am very thankful for the mindset shift the host gives to focus on the positives of having an ADHD brain and realizing it is a powerful tool! Not something to be ashamed of or that holds you back. Thankful for this encouraging podcast!! Can’t wait to listen to all of it.

Love Tracy but….
Today’s speaker is a little too cerebral. She’s overly in analytical and comes off with word salad speak.

Grateful
I’m grateful that I found your podcast. I am recently diagnosed with ADHD at age 53. Everything in my life makes so much more sense now that I know that. It explains so much. I listened to the first 14 episodes to get a feel for it and then I jumped to ones starting in 2025. Once I’m caught up, I will go back and start with episode 15. I am learning so much from both the similarities and differences in our ADHD and our lives. Again, I am grateful and appreciate you… Jeannie George

Too much small talk
I enjoyed the energy of the host and guest for the episode I tried to listen to. But they took entirely too long to get to the point. Telling childhood stories of how you had to sneak and watch tv and long drawn out stories of how you grew up made me loose interest in the topic. Getting some tangible actionable info earlier would be great. I would recommend they get to the point quicker.

Such an amazing podcast!
Thank you for building this community where we can celebrate the diverse ways our creative brains work!
Nested Expressions
Let the Healing Begin
I am a 31-year-old woman who has an ACES score of 9 and spent the majority of my life being told I was too much. Too loud, too emotional, too dramatic, too honest.
It’s only been recently that I’ve discovered I likely have ADHD, which has been misdiagnosed for the entirety of my life as depression and anxiety due to trauma.
This podcast has been a light at the end of a difficult road and I could not be more grateful for tuning in each week for a sense of understanding and community.
This podcast is uplifting, and it is hopeful. It is real, and it pays homage to the struggles we face while celebrating the strengths that make us who we are.
For the first time in my life, I feel understood and I could not be more grateful.
If you want a weekly dose of humor, hope, and heart, this podcast is for you.

Out of Touch
I really enjoyed this podcast until the episode about ADHD and addiction. The guest speaks about how anyone can detach from all forms of media, email, and physical mail. She explains she’s able to do so due to her assistant and husband, and I was reeling at how out of touch it all sounded. What a privilege it must be to be able to afford to pay the salary of an assistant and be so willfully ignorant to the world around you as if it has no effect on you. This in turn makes me question the judgement of the host, who did nothing but ooh and ahh over how she wants to do that too.

Loved this podcast until politics got involved
I learned so much about how my brain works and why with the book and the podcast. There have been occasionally things I don’t 100% agree with but completely minor be cause I was getting so much more out of it. The latest episode opens on a huge political push that crushed me.

Answers so many questions…
I want to first off say THANK YOU to Tracey, without this podcast I don’t know if I would have really begun to understand my recently diagnosed ADHD. Being diagnosed as a 51 year old has been absolutely life changing, I still have a long way to go to fully understand everything, and I am so incredibly happy to have Tracey and this podcast to help me along the way.

I have definitely found my people!
As a late diagnosed ADHD woman who made it all the way through my PhD before being diagnosed - and only because I figured it out myself - I hear myself in so many of these interviews. It’s also great to hear that we all still struggle and everyone’s different strategies. I totally recommend this podcast for other too scary for their own good ADHD women!

Love this!
I just discovered this podcast by searching for emotional regulation in the search bar, and up popped episode 6. This really resonated with me and was exactly what I needed to hear. I am so glad to now have this wonderful resource in my pocket! I joined the FB group as well. I’ve always suspected that I have ADHD but I was always quickly dismissed when I brought it up to family. Now, working with my therapist and finding resources, I feel validated and hopeful that even in my 30’s, it’s not too late to address this properly and that I deserve help and validation. I am very excited to be here ❤️

I just discovered you in June and your positive message resonates with me.
I’m so thankful that you didn’t allow critical reviews to stop you.
I also love starting my day with your “blends”. Never thought I could “meditate” they really help restore my peace.
Keep up the good work!

A Life-Changing Podcast
I have only listened to a few episodes and am already loving this podcast. Every time I read the description of a new-to-me episode I want to listen to it right away. I love how Tracy delivers the information and what she teaches about. It’s helping me to better understand ADHD, my traits, and how to manage traits that negatively affect my life. And, it encourages me to celebrate traits that positively affect my life. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes!

Life changing.
In January 2024, I happened to hear Tracy on Episode 203 of The Clutterbug Podcast (“Could You Have ADHD? Let’s break down the signs with Tracy Otsuka”) and for the first time, at age 51, I found an explanation for so many of my habits that bother me or others — and explain some of my best traits. I’ve since been diagnosed with ADHD and other neurodiversity and can’t thank Tracy and Cas Aarssen enough for giving me new hope.

Just what I needed to hear
I’m still crying nearly every episode even though I’m an OT and self diagnosed myself over 10 years ago. It’s mind blowing how your amazing guests are helping me to discover new aspects of my brain that I never attributed to ADHD! Love, love, LOVE this podcast!!!

Thank you!
This podcast is a breath of fresh air in a neurotypical word that highlights nothing but the bad about ADHD and seeks to make those that are different feel out of place and inferior. This podcast has made me not feel so alone and now be able to recognize my own strengths and that of those like me, including my son! Thank you!

So Informational and Validating
I was diagnosed with ADHD, predominantly inattentive type, just 5 months ago shortly after my 43rd birthday. My LMHC recommended Tracy’s book. I discovered the podcast after getting the book. I have learned so much about my ADHD brain from listening. I gain insight from every single episode, even the ones I wouldn’t think relate to my life. Thank you Tracy, for sharing your passion to help women navigate how to embrace our ADHD brains.

Soothes the souls and uplifts connection
What a relief when I found this podcast! Being diagnosed in my 40’s, I’ve been on a journey of understanding how to help my challenges and celebrate where adhd is a my superpower and then pass along what I know to my clients.
I love how the podcast gives both stories - the I’m not alone healing - and ways to help me. It’s like a college class. And the Facebook group is essential. What a world that Tracy has created here! Listen and love it too!

Relatable and Validating!
As a woman who was diagnosed with ADHD in her 30s, I’ve found Tracy and her podcast refreshing and validating! This podcast makes me feel empowered by my ADHD and less like it’s a negative part of who I am. Any woman who has (or suspects they have) ADHD should be tuning in!

Relatable info that’s helpful to share
The number of times I have sent these podcasts to people to help explain things happening in my brain I can’t explain or didn’t understand and now do really shows how helpful and relatable this podcast is.
I have learned so much about myself, my brain and have learned to love and embrace and use this powerful brain to my benefit.
Don’t sleep on this podcast it’s added to my life so much!

Awesome
This was the podcast I had been looking for! I had spent the majority of my life swimming through molasses trying to grow, build and find a life worth living. I always felt something was “off” and asked myself why everything was so much harder for me compared to so many other people. After being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 33, I finally understood what was happening. It was a huge step, but very isolating and with that, a lot of emotions came into play. Where were the resources, the tribe that gets it, the community etc … and boom, what do you know, I found all of that here! Tracy speaks to the superpowers that come with ADHD and with every fantastic guest comes the inspired guarantee in a multitude of forms that you absolutely have endless opportunities and potential. The trick is harnessing your skill set to make it yours. It is part of my self care to listen to this podcast because it reminds me that there is no such thing as a learning deficit, only learning differences and differences are GREAT! So much so, I started my own consulting company; inspired by all of this great stuff here! LOVE this PC!

I LOVE this podcast!
I LOVE hearing about so many other women who either have or suspect they have ADHD and how they have embraced the fact that their brains just work differently. I fall into the 'suspect I have' category, and it explains SO MUCH. I've learned a ton from the array of guests, but the episode that spoke to my soul was the one on which Tracy talked about grief in the wake of her mom's passing. I happened to listen to it just about 3 years after my mom's passing, and it took me right back to my experience 3 years before. I can totally relate to much of what Tracy shared! We neurodivergent folks definitely process things differently.
Thank you, Tracy, for bringing women like us into each others' lives.

This is my favorite episode ever, no shade to Grace. I LOVED how you both just ADHD'd through it and it was so fun. I'm literally listening on a roadtrip, pulled over to get gas (because i for got to fill up before I left to head home) and had to leave a review before I forgot. Also, Brooke totally sold me on her book and yours too, Tracy. I have it in my Amazon cart, I guess it's time to check out.

I love the latest episode!!!
Been listening for about a year. Early 50s, diagnosed at 35. Combined type. Didn’t really dive in to my own adhd experience until a combination of adhd, perimenopause, and long COVID contributed to the demise of a 6 month romantic relationship I thought would be for the long haul. The perimenopause/adhd difficulties intensified in early ‘22. I could no longer mask my difficulties. Time blindness and hyperfocus were the downfall. Your podcast has me laughing and crying every week. This episode I totally related to the curly hair. I’ve learned to love my curly hair, but straight is easier. If I get a blowout, I can go days without washing, and can make it look nice with a brush. Curly is more time consuming. Still trying to find a balance!!!

Thank you Tracy for writing your book, starting this podcast, and being a coach! I learned I had ADHD through your book that I found through the episode you were on with Jenna Kutcher. My mind is blown and all the pieces have fell into place! Now I’m learning how to use ADHD to my advantage.
