5G checkers
Ted Danson is playing 5G checkers with people playing Grandmaster Chess on a telegraph. Guests are thrown off with 90 degree turns in the interview which leads to actual MOMENTS. More of this, please.

Mixed feelings
While I love Ted and do somewhat enjoy the podcasts the overwhelming lecturing from the far left Hollywood elites is disgusting. Ted doesn’t do it but he clearly agrees with them. Among his guests include: Jane Fonda, Ed Begley, Sarah Silverman, Rob Reiner, Mark Ruffalo, Jimmy Kimmel, Ken Burns, Rosanna Arquette, and Don Cheadle among others. I realize Hollywood is dominated by far leftists but why not have James Woods on? He can articulate the other views outside of their bubbles. I laugh when I hear all these guests call Trump an authoritarian. Crickets from them when the Biden administration was caught pressuring google and Facebook to censor right leaning views. Also crickets when blue states went totally bonkers during Covid. Authorities literally forced a lone kayaker out of the Pacific Ocean because he wasn’t “supposed to be there”. A swat team was sent in to close a church. Meanwhile BLM protests with tens of thousands of protesters were allowed. The hypocrisy from the left is staggering. Do better Ted.

Pay wall? Really?
Now behind a paywall. What else can corporations get their grubby hands into and ruin. I’m out.
No corporate shill
Tremendous and Warm.
One of my favorite podcasts. Ted's voice is so soothing and you can really tell he cares with his interviews. The Zach Braff one that just came out is such a good listen.

Some good/some bad
When Ted or Ted and Woody get together with Hollywood friends and talk about the shows and movies we love it’s great entertainment. When they talk about politics it’s a real turn off. Was VERY disappointed with the Richard Kind interview. What an opportunity missed.

The Most Important Topics
As I stand here watching students play, while forcefully dribbling out my frustrations from the morning with a well worn basketball on a well worn court at the well worn alternative school I teach at in northern Mississippi, I want you to know how much this episode meant to me and the importance of every topic that was discussed by Drew, Ted and Marc. Well done!

Acting not politics
I have always enjoyed the pod But when actors want to discuss politics, I’m out. Ted and Richard Kind live in fantasy worlds No one cares about your politics

What a fun podcast. Thanks for having this podcast.

The show
Ditto to Wendy Quilter’s review, except for the Mark Duplass comment. I’m binge listening during my small vacation from everyday work as a a home child care provider. Starting from the beginning, all the interviews so far are emotionally positive. I found out about your podcast from a interview on The Late show with Steven Colbert.

Rob Reiner’s death?!!
Disappointed and disgusted you aren’t mentioning at least a few words in memory of Rob Reiner. Jesus, he was just on your show in September! He’s been murdered. Surely you could have recorded some sort of verbal tribute before launching into this episode all about your Man on the Inside. Shame on you, Ted Danson.

WOW
I’m late to this podcast but I’m catching up, and it just keeps getting better. It feels eavesdropping on a conversation, not an interview. So much fun listening to Mark Duplass, who I met at a film festival in Oregon, after watching The Puffy Chair. Big fan ever since. Keep these conversations coming!!!

Happy to join
I’m a participant in Ted Danson’s conversations, just by tuning in. I don’t call them “interviews,” because they aren’t. They’re conversations that I have the privilege to join as if I were in the room with Ted and his friend. If that weird thought of Ted’s comes to fruition, I’m first in line to shake his hand. Thank you for your work to save oceans.

What an absolutely fun podcast. I love the interviews with former Cheers cast members and producers. But there are so many gems of episodes. Ted (and Woody, sometimes) provide interesting and insightful interviews. It’s one of the few podcasts that I keep checking for new episodes.

Wow!
Start with the episode with Alex Edelman. I’ve listened to it multiple times and there’s always more that I didn’t hear the first time. Best episode ever!

Fantastic Show!
This is my go-to show when I need to spend time with truly nice people. Mr. Danson has to be the kindest man on earth, and his obvious love for acting and actors makes the show so fun to listen to. He brings on guests who are interesting and talented and it’s like listening to old friends having a conversation. And it’s always a treat when Woody Harrelson is available to join in. Please don’t ever stop making this podcast. The world needs this right now!

What can I say, love Ted Danson
Like Woody also, but Ted Danson is a gift to the American culture, and I love listening to him! That’s all.

Great Podcast!
The Patton Oswalt episode was so good. For anyone who doesn’t want to hear celebrities talking about politics (as if they aren’t real people in real life), I recommend going back to watching scripted tv and movies. Podcasts are where people have different platforms to express themselves as they want. Get over it

Ken Burns!!!

Faith
It really disappoints me in human people talk about faith as if it’s a virtue. Excuse people give when they don’t have a good reason to believe in something.. Ted, I’m sorry that you have been indoctrinated from a young are involved in some sort of cult, but you are wrong. Look and you will see what I mean.
Will Stop
A Nice Way To Spend An Hour
First, can we please stop pretending that Woody Harrelson has any interest in participating. When he does burger to show up he has nothing to contribute except half-formed and ill-formed ideas. Ted doesn’t need him. Second, people who complain about politics being part of a podcast have realized that they are on the losing side of whatever political ideology they follow. They can’t face the fact that their selfish beliefs and bigoted ideals don’t align with decent society and they don’t want to admit politics shapes every part of our society, so they chastise others for “injecting politics into everything” and demand that we stop pointing out their personal deficiencies.

Mark Ruffalo Episode!!!
Just an incredible episode. As a young woman, it’s great to hear these men talk about such prevalent topics where their voices really need to be heard. ❤️
JenBenCee
It’s Your Show
Those who say you shouldn’t talk about politics…eff’em. It’s your production and you can talk about ANYTHING you want. If it’s not for them they have the freedom to listen to something else, they can ‘self deport.’ If it’s not politics they complain about it’ll be something else, chances are they aren’t ‘single issue’ complainers.
I See You I Hear You
Enjoyment!!
If I need something easy, pleasant, and enjoyable, I can always count on this show. I don’t mean the topics are always light and breezy. Sometimes, they do talk about meaningful life issues and really important topics. But the tone is always calm and pleasant and fun and loving, thanks to Ted (and Woody…sometimes). I have become a huge fan!

Mark Ruffalo
LOVED the Mark Ruffalo episode!!! Thank you for using your platform and popularity to bring attention to important issues not enough Americans are paying attention to.

Patton Oswalt podcast
I truly enjoy this podcast Ted is great and I am a fan of Patton Oswalt.. BUT I listen to be entertained.. while on my bike the gym or on a walk. A nice enjoyable listen. NOT to hear political views or a diatribe about fascists.. thuggery or entertainers views right or left on politics. I am here to relax and enjoy. Enough with people’s political views we don’t care what you think. Even though you feel an obligation to speak. You are entertainers we are here to be entertained not dragged into politics go on Fox or CNN or that. Truly disappointed in Patton’ podcast I tuned out

Politics
Please leave politics out of your podcast, otherwise I love the podcast, yet again you are bringing politics into your podcast!! I want to listen to your podcast but I really believe politics should not be brought up on a platform like yours!!

Wingnut Garbage
I'm unfollowing any "entertainment" podcast, including this one now, that uses its platform to push political agendas. It's a real shame. Ted Danson has such a kind heart and a genuine love of people. But he failed when he allowed the entire end of the Rob Reiner episode to turn into a stage where Reiner gets to spew political rhetoric which he purports as "absolute truths." Has this podcast ever allowed the same opportunity to the same kind of wing-nut from the other side? No. Nor would I want to hear THAT either. The days of Johnny Carson type integrity, sadly, are gone unfortunately. I feel Ted Danson made an honest mistake when he allowed that episode to go off the rails. But I have zero guarantees that it won't happen again. That is NOT what most people seeking true "entertainment (auto)biographies" want. We DO want to hear the lovely stories that Reiner shared about his history in film and his family. Those were amazing! I loved them very much. But I won't ever be subjected to such abhorrent political commentary on this "entertainment" podcast or any other of its kind. It was an obvious softball set-up tossed to Reiner to give him the platform he used for a seemingly endless barrage of diatribe. It was awful, and sullied the whole experience for me. I may only be one person in your view/estimation, but I promise you - there's exponentially many more people like me. We leave platforms like this to seek/obtain our own absolute truths on politics and world affairs in the appropriate settings.

Ted Danson is a true delight
I grew up on Cheers and always enjoyed Ted Danson’s acting - little did I know he was hiding his true talent all this time! Ted seems like a truly lovely man - self-deprecating, self-effacing, self-aware. He is a wonderful interviewer, bringing good questions / research and always having a conversation that’s enjoyable and entertaining. Kudos to whoever at Team Coco realized that Ted Danson needed a podcast - this one has quickly become my dependable happy place.

This a good podcast like so many but you guys are already getting ad money non of these conversations are worth paying for , it begs the question: how much money do you all really need I would think you have enough money to actually put out a few without ads

A joke
Rob Reiner has no room to talk about democracy. His party has been screwing the American ppl for a long time and ppl are waking up to this that’s why we voted 47 back in office. How much is the democrats paying him or how many illegals has he got working for him

Fantastical
I love this show just listened to the episodes with Mary Steenburgen and I don’t know if you guys read these and I know this I am super late on the uptake but she is amazing and all of her ideas and things about colors are nothing to be made fun of or ashamed in any way about what a beautiful person thank you for sharing yourself with us

Greg Kinnear Interview
I’m a huge fan of both Ted & Woody’s works my entire life & this podcast is awesome!! I’ve listened to every episode; some multiple times. However, Mr. Danson, we felt your pain on this one! Greg Kinnear sounded like he “didn’t know everybody’s name!” I mean really… he doesn’t know who Mary is, let alone you’re married to her! At least that’s what it sounded like to me. Kinnear sounded completely ill prepared for an interview & didn’t offer much as far as content to the listeners. I’ll admit, I’ve never wrote an Apple Podcast Review, but I feel compelled to express to you that the Kinnear episode was not your fault Mr. Danson. Keep up the awesome work guys! Love you both! ~ LRL

Comforting & Kind
I listen to a variety of podcasts. I come back to this one because of the style and person of Ted Danson. I feel his kind connectedness, the little bit of a slower, more patient pace, and the arc of his interviews are really fun! You feel you are in the living room and like time has slowed down in the best of ways! Ted’s person is delightful!

Literally
Ted literally tells the same stories in every episode. I’ve heard the basketball story 5 times in 6 podcasts. Does your editor/producer not listen to these?? And please stop using the word literally… college kids could play a drinking game with that one. Kelsey Grammer was awesome, that’s it!!

Where Everybody Knows…
To be a fan, to allow a programme to grow so-as to be a staple in one’s week. This podcast has become such of some nature. The comfort in being as exceptional as one would expect, it lives up to the Ted Danson calibre of outstanding quality. Thank you, as to express! — J.Swiercz

Love Getting to Know These People
This has been a wonderful opportunity to get to know Ted Danson the person. This podcast format is perfect for learning who these people are through their conversations with other connections from their life. I am extra enjoying my Cheers series re-watch knowing some of the back stories from Ted, Woody, George, Ratz, and Kelsey. Can’t wait for more!
