I love the Newly Wed Game episode. Let it be like an Abby store and repeat forever. It’s comforting.

Air to Breath and We Can Do Hard Things
I am such a fan and finally overdue in writing a review because I just listened to the Tori Dunlap interview and WOW. Just took me to so many different places and was crying at the end! You all have done such beyond beautiful and necessary work with this podcast. As a 58-year old divorced and unemployed (again!) woman, I am really feeling the stress of life while also knowing I have my daughter, my resources and my community. You are part of my community. Thank you!

You are my rock right now
We can do hard things! We are a team! I’m hugely enjoying laughing and smiling along with each episode with Glennon, sister and Abby. Thank you all for sharing your stories and truths. Each episode makes me laugh, learn, cry, grow in all the ways my body needs to feel. I can’t love your podcast enough. I’m a mom of three little daughters and I’m dripping with children daily! You are so right about being at home with your children is both overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. Ok love you, bye! And thanks!

3 wealthy white women have thoughts
Used to love the pod. The recent fire episode was out of touch and solely focused on Glennon’s feelings about the fires and not… actual people who have been impacted… you all are so out of touch with reality and with how regular people live and what pain and loss is like. Maybe educate yourselves and gain some perspective from people different than you. Having zero possessions and no home doesn’t feel beautiful Glennon. Read the room. Some of us have to work and not all of us are as wealthy as you Used to love the pod but it has changed and feels out of touch and a little culty. I’m worried you are encouraging people to behave poorly- it’s okay to be a sociopath, it’s okay to self isolate, it’s okay to ignore all family and friends. This is uneducated advice and you’re just giving permission for people to act terribly and blame it on psychology. Why are there so many repeat episodes? Just don’t have any episodes instead of featuring old episodes.

My therapy
This podcast has been my therapy along with the energy healing I’ve been doing for myself to help repair the generational cycles we all need to help repair. This is my “be the change you wish to see in the world” era! I’m healing so we can heal our future generations! Thank you!!!

Helps in so many ways
They bring on so many great guests to learn about processing childhood experiences, which we all need. I even love the episodes where it’s just them, bringing their wisdom and chaos. Knowing I’m not alone in this life means the world to me. Thank you for the episodes on Internal Family Systems, Family Drama, Recovery, and oh so many more where I have gleaned some great things to use in my own life! It’s been terrific bringing on some voices of reason in this insane political landscape. Much respect and admiration for Heather Cox Richardson and Jessica Yellin.

Commercials too much
I love that this podcast talked about resisting commercialism, and putting our money where our values are (ie supporting companies that protect the earth or social justice) But then it is littered by commercials from companies like Best Buy? Pick a lane- you are making a conscious choice to send your listeners both messages at the same time.

What is our rage telling us
An absolute must listen for all moms out there. We have all experienced mom rage and realizing the deep rooted meaning of it reminds us that our needs matter!
Soooooo fun.
Thank you!!!
Thank you for not shying away from what’s going on in the US right now. Your podcasts provide much needed information and solidarity right now!

You guys are amazing
Hi ladies, You make it easier to do hard things 💖 I’ve been listening for some time now and you have been a mentor and inspiration to me. I love how honest and raw and open you all are and it helps me a great deal. I want to thank you for sharing your journey through this sometimes great sometimes hard life we all live. I just got your book and journal in the mail yesterday and really excited to explore what’s inside. Please keep on doing your great work and the awesome guest you have. I feel like I know you guys, one of the best parts of your podcast. You opening up and sharing makes others feel less alone. Love you all, Kathyk 💖✨💖

Late arrival but catching up
I’m several years late to the podcast craze but have been catching up on these and they have been life changing to me. As someone always on the outside of the norm, wish more people were invested in learning to accept the people around them.

Where have you been all my life?
I found out about your podcast from your interview on the Best People podcast. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with all of us. Thank you for having such an amazing pod squad. Your daughter’s song we can do hard things is so beautiful.

For standing up to the regime….
Bless all three of you and your team. I have noticed many many celebrities staying silent in a way they didn’t in 2016. I have watched with utmost disgust Oprah Winfrey attend Jeff Bezos’ wedding. I have also listened to your podcast since the beginning, I am a 50s queer woman disabled by long COVID. I truly don’t expect to live much longer, I am in despair for myself and *also for all those vulnerable like me who will go down early in various awful ways, and for all the beings and souls on this planet when I’m gone. So thank you for standing up. Please stay strong for those of us who don’t have the platform you do. Much love

Delight-full
NOTE: came here to write about how sad I am and how I don't get how people are going about their lives as if nothing's happening. When I went to write that, I saw this "review" that I never submitted! This is happier: You guys, I had to pause the podcast and write. Glennon's story about her interaction with the TSA agent had me laughing so hard I started crying (while trying to put on makeup!). I haven't laughed that hard in...well I just don't know. (Could have been years ago during your episode where listeners described embarrassing moments). Anyway thanks for a wonderful beginning to my Daily Delight practice!!

When Sister Speaks
July 1, 2025 - “Don’t Tread On Me” I have followed this podcast from the very first episode, rarely missing one. Countless times I have been moved. I have been changed. I have been challenged. I have felt safe, laughed until I cried, and I have felt inspired. But in this particular episode, the brilliant Amanda Doyle has delivered one of the most important and poignant messages I may hear in my life. Every word was cut with precision and intention, layered with depth and historical truth. It is a study. I will never forget it. My only wish is that every person in this country could hear this confronting rally for America. Thank you, Amanda, Sister, you are one of the greatest thinkers I’ve ever had the gift of listening to.

I love when two areas of my life come together.
I am an avid listener of all CAC (Center for Action and Contemplation) sponsored podcasts. So I was thrilled to read the latest version of We Conspire and see the team from We Can Do Hard things featured. In particular episode 185. I listened and loved it. I have not seen the movie or read the book but will do both. You are doing great work, necessary work, and as I say to people I work with “you and your work are a value add”. Not that you add value that is given we all do, but your work is a standard, a touchstone, a value add. Keep going (as I heard on the Podcast, so right).

Richardson is the sane voice of reason. She has helped me see the patterns from history that will show and lead us the way out of this current chaos. Thanks for inviting her !

This Podcast is my Safe Space
My sister and I just discussed the episode on joy with Martha Beck, me living in Guam, my sister in the Philippines. Thank you, Glennon, Abby, and Amanda, for accompanying me over the years as I take a shower after a long day or wash the dishes. I turn to your podcast to feel less alone and frazzled, to be able to do hard things with new perspectives, and always with love. It just takes hearing the opening guitar intro to make me smile and let out a big exhale. I’m so grateful for each episode and for what you do for this world!!

Love the pod!
Love the pod and it is part of my strategy to stay sane in the mist of this scary time. Often guests discuss a past episode and I am usually interested to listen it. Please can the episode number or link be included somewhere? If it is somewhere, where can I find that information? Thanks so much!

Amazing empathy!
My eldest child who has severe OCD disappeared six weeks ago. Fairly certain that they are with some friends, but it's been a significant amount of grief to deal with. I went back and listened to the grief episodes where Abby so kindly shared her experience with grief. It was very helpful to hear ways to deal with a grief and also what was happening physiologically my experience. Thanks for making me feel that I wasn't alone and giving me tools to move forward.

Kindness and expansiveness!!
Regarding the ‘mean girl ‘episode, noooooo Abby!!! Don’t model ‘they’re dead to me!!! And their parents, too!!!!’ Haven’t you ever made a mistake?? And, no, I’m not a mean girl. I was the one they made fun of. But I’m shouting from the rooftops, a big fat NO to the ‘they are dead to me, and their parents, too’ attitude. Really????? That’s MEAN!! In a situation like this, I say to my son, you don’t have to be their best friend. Stand up for yourself, calmly, and within reason, and keep it moving. Jesus, I didn’t know that parents might be hating on me for what my son might or might not have done or said. Wow!!!! Really????? And, btw, love you all. Your podcast keeps me company on my long commutes. Thanks.

Back to Roots
This podcast has saved me repeatedly and I’m forever grateful. But lately it feels like they’ve sold out and it’s just celebs pushing their books out. I miss the deep, hard conversations about uncomfortable, new, brilliant ideas and hearing about Glennon’s life. I’m hanging on because I love these three and have heard literally every episode, but I wish they would go back to their roots that built their platform in the first place.

Thank you
Thanks for all you do. The latest episode I listened to was Glennon and Abby’s experience in LA and in the children’s court. It made me cry to think of a 2 year old in court. Thank you for being our eyes. Because you advised us how to do it, I called my representative to express my concern about the budget bill.

Overthink
I’m a fan of Suleika’s book “Between Two Kingdoms “. I think she and Glennon over think everything!! Both wonderful people but in any profession there are things you aren’t taught but you learn as you go. And there are things you have to do even if you don’t want to. Part of life. Enjoy the parts you like and learn to deal with what you don’t like. You both did a great job on the podcast so do that on the tours. People want to hear what you have to say in writing and verbally. Don’t overthink it!!

Clearly antisemitic
I actually really like this podcast, but whenever anything related to Israel, and or Gaza comes up, it is obvious that the hosts are antisemitic. I am listening to the current episode with Elizabeth Warren, and I am absolutely disgusted by the conversation in this podcast episode about Gaza that not once was it mentioned that part of the solution is an unconditional release of the hostages and removal of a terrorist regime from power

Life is hard-I am listening!
Artist, mom, wife, daughter, friend, concerned citizen, business owner, deep feeling person: I am all these things and life is hard! A friend turned me onto this podcast which gave me the space to keep creating, gave me tools to help my marriage, gave me ears to hear my children’s voices better, gave me patience with my mom and resources to be a more active, engaged citizen without making me feel overwhelmed with ALL the THINGS! I admire Amanda the most, identify with Glennon the most and appreciate Abby’s perspective the most. This was my first podcast ever and continues to be my go-to! Thank you for all the words- I am listening.

Excellent and enlightening.
I'm a single, divorced (for a long time), 60 something male and I live alone. I do not have any children. I have major mental health challenges (OCD and depression) which have ruined many of my hopes and dreams. I think this podcast is excellent. Some of the shows are over my head and I don't fully understand them. I suspect that is because my lifestyle is so different from that of the hosts of this show. But for me, about 1/3 of the shows are absolutely "gems". They talk about difficult life challenges that I can relate to. These shows that "touch me"… I find to be very healing, helpful, and educational. Thanks for a great podcast! Peace and blessings to you… Paul

White women disappoint
Gals, we need you in the fight for Palestine. Your silence is deadly. I’m not talking about an Instagram post a year ago. Name it, take action, and encourage your audience to do the same. Check out Aja Barber’s most recent call-out of white women who are letting so few of us take the fall. Can you imagine what would happen if your audience came together and did something? If white women actually rose up and showed some solidarity for once? You have the power to save lives, and you are choosing not to. While we are at it, Jessica Yellin recently used the word “terrorist” as a slur, and implied that Palestinians deserve the military onslaught we are seeing develop in LA. That she has a space under your umbrella is genuinely concerning

The only podcast I listen to multiple times
Glennon, Abby and Amanda are national treasures. I have learned so much from them, and about myself, over the last year. This is the only podcast I listen to more than one time through, the one I share most. The ones with Terri Cole finally helped me answer “why am I like this?”- 2 therapists thought I was pretty well adjusted. TC’s book saved me $ and time- now I’m just in HFC recovery. Forever. Amanda- I identity with you more than any person I’ve known. Cheers to all our recoveries (cancer and HFC!)

#415. Are You Addicted to Drama?
Fantastic insight and sharing of a silent relationship killer, not just with others but most importantly with oneself. Thank you to my daughter who shared this episode with me; here’s to safer togetherness in your future dearest girl. I am so deeply sorry I didn’t know better sooner.

Thank you!!
Love love this podcast! I so appreciate your insights, perspectives, great questions and life lessons! EVERY single episode leaves me with at least one critical takeaway for the week. Also! In the Mexico/Girls Just Wanna episode, when Tish and Brandi sing. Right at the 8:20 mark they start with vocal harmony and that moment stopped me cold, gave me chills and has stuck with me for the 4 months since I heard it. That moment gifted me the realization of this musical piece of my soul that has been missing from my life for many years and helped direct me to a renewed way to find peace. Five stars and five hearts!
