Amazing first listen
How to know when to quit is the first episode I’ve listened to from this podcast and i don’t know what took me so long to end up here - listening to this after very recently deciding to leave my very loving and stable relationship of 3 years because of a continued reluctance to get deep and grow with me. And it’s so so hard. But listening to this episode helped reassure me I’m making the right decision for myself at this point in my life. Thank you ladies.

Thanks for this informative episode. I sent money to the Palestinian American Medical association. Could you please do an episode from the Israeli history and perspective?

Family roles part II?
Love your show! I was very interested in part two of the family roles episode but I don’t see that it ever came out. Is that still going to happen?

One-sided
really wanted to like this podcast, but I find myself frustrated by how one-sided it often feels. Instead of exploring complexity or acknowledging multiple perspectives, the conversations tend to land on a single “right” way of seeing things. That approach can shut down nuance and doesn’t leave much room for thoughtful disagreement or dialogue. What could be an opportunity for deep discussion often turns into groupthink, where consensus is assumed rather than earned. I prefer podcasts that invite different voices and angles, even uncomfortable ones, and that allow listeners to wrestle with the gray areas of hard topics. Unfortunately, this show too often encourages a kind of mob sync instead.

Vulnerability saves lives
I found your 2 episodes with Dr Richard Schwartz from April 2024 and it helped me convince my older sister to find an IFS therapist. She had spiraled into a deep depression and anxiety and nothing seemed to help. Your two episodes helped me explain the therapy and the vulnerability of you 3 sharing your parts session with the world helped her feel safe enough to try it. Thank you! I am forever grateful to you all and your work.

Thank you thank you thank you for your most recent episode with Dr. Thaer Ahmad. Centering Palestinians—always, especially now—is so important, and I’m grateful you had the courage to do it. The warmth and generosity exuding from Dr. Ahmad was palpable, and it was a gift to listen to him. ❤️

They share false information
I used to love this podcast but I have lost all respect for the three hosts as they have spread false information and Hamas propaganda on social media. I completely resonate with their concerns for Palestinian children but when they use their huge platform to share false information, they make the world more dangerous for Jewish children to live in. They have not taken down posts when the original sources have come back and said the information shared was incorrect.

Genocide in Palestine
This was such an informative interview…one I wish all Americans would listen to with open minds. We all need to stand up for human rights and support those on the front lines that are risking their lives to save others . Open our hearts and wallets. On another note I feel strongly about. PLEASE STOP your relationship with AMAZON..Bezos doesn’t care about people. Stop directing people to buy from Amazon, it’s destroying every brick and mortar store. Thank you for your work.

Wishing I could Advise
Glennon, no one cares if your slipping or jumping “wrong” and if you can’t catch the ball - No One Cares! We play catch or climb a mountain for the fun of the action not to accomplish anything. Life isn’t a performance and the Only One who’s judging you - Is You. We know you’re amazing and livable, but do you?

Embodied SUMOUD
This has been one of the most important episodes indeed cause doing this is definitely a HARD thing at such times! I’m a Palestinian, Christian born in Jerusalem & raised in Bethlehem currently living in Minnesota. I think our gift to the world as Palestinians is our SUMOUD, which means steadfastness. & the state of being deeply rooted in the land & connected with the divine. This episode is literally an embodiment of this gift. Can’t thank you enough for showing up and doing the hard things most of the world is failing to do. Shukran 🫶

Privilege
I love the podcast I just listened to the episode about dopamine. Such an important perspective. I’m hoping you can do an episode about privilege. Once I realized we’re all on a spectrum of privilege it’s helped me to rethink a lot of the world. I think it’s often the perspective that’s missing from people’s lives. I realize it’s not an easy topic that’s why I put it here. If anyone can tackle it it’s the 3 of you! I really hope you consider it as a podcast topic or series. 💜

Representing women in the most favorable light
I love this podcast! My sister told me about it and it is truly my favorite. What a wonderful team of caring, funny, bright and charming women. You do some incredible interviews of interesting women and I love the way you treat them. Thank you for providing and being such a wonderful role models of the women we want to represent us. I loved the newlyweddish game episodes! I needed some liteness. When Abby said she asked Glennon if she could see her sadness and Glennon answered ‘yes’ and then burst into laughter. In our family we call that a ‘Collins’Fit’. Might we be related?

Much needed fun!
We listened to this with our daughter. Which inspired her to play the game with us. She created the questions and then played ‘Amanda’ as we answers them!

Money episode
As a newer listener I have been enjoying this podcast a lot but a few of the episodes have sort of made me feel icky. To be honest I was hesitant about listening to the podcast but loved the episode with Kaitlin Curtice and the ones with Jessica Yellin. The episode that rubbed me the wrong way was the money episode. As a middle aged brown woman who works at a nonprofit making nothing and will never “gain generational wealth” I feel like this episode was the same old thing and meant for privileged white women who can easily ask for a raise or find a job that pays a lot and get what they want for the most part. This doesn’t come easy for some of us. This was a little off putting like this advice is meant for people who are already rich. Maybe a trigger warning? I was going to stop in the middle but listened the whole way through. With all the talk about shame at the end of this I actually felt it deeply for not being rich or successful at my age and spending much of my extra money on my kids activities and food. I was hoping it would give me advice on saving and making good choices while also making a low salary. Or at least put that into consideration? Hoping more episodes are inclusive to all types of women (including those that don’t have the privilege to ever get rich or make a ton of money) rather than the stereotypical boss lady privileged rich white women.

Air to Breath and We Can Do Hard Things
I am such a fan and finally overdue in writing a review because I just listened to the Tori Dunlap interview and WOW. Just took me to so many different places and was crying at the end! You all have done such beyond beautiful and necessary work with this podcast. As a 58-year old divorced and unemployed (again!) woman, I am really feeling the stress of life while also knowing I have my daughter, my resources and my community. You are part of my community. Thank you!

You are my rock right now
We can do hard things! We are a team! I’m hugely enjoying laughing and smiling along with each episode with Glennon, sister and Abby. Thank you all for sharing your stories and truths. Each episode makes me laugh, learn, cry, grow in all the ways my body needs to feel. I can’t love your podcast enough. I’m a mom of three little daughters and I’m dripping with children daily! You are so right about being at home with your children is both overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. Ok love you, bye! And thanks!

Helps in so many ways
They bring on so many great guests to learn about processing childhood experiences, which we all need. I even love the episodes where it’s just them, bringing their wisdom and chaos. Knowing I’m not alone in this life means the world to me. Thank you for the episodes on Internal Family Systems, Family Drama, Recovery, and oh so many more where I have gleaned some great things to use in my own life! It’s been terrific bringing on some voices of reason in this insane political landscape. Much respect and admiration for Heather Cox Richardson and Jessica Yellin.

Commercials too much
I love that this podcast talked about resisting commercialism, and putting our money where our values are (ie supporting companies that protect the earth or social justice) But then it is littered by commercials from companies like Best Buy? Pick a lane- you are making a conscious choice to send your listeners both messages at the same time.

What is our rage telling us
An absolute must listen for all moms out there. We have all experienced mom rage and realizing the deep rooted meaning of it reminds us that our needs matter!
Soooooo fun.

Hi ladies, You make it easier to do hard things 💖 I’ve been listening for some time now and you have been a mentor and inspiration to me. Late arrival but catching up
I’m several years late to the podcast craze but have been catching up on these and they have been life changing to me. As someone always on the outside of the norm, wish more people were invested in learning to accept the people around them.

I found out about your podcast from your interview on the Best People podcast. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with all of us. Thank you for having such an amazing pod squad. Your daughter’s song we can do hard things is so beautiful.

For standing up to the regime….
Bless all three of you and your team. I have noticed many many celebrities staying silent in a way they didn’t in 2016. I have watched with utmost disgust Oprah Winfrey attend Jeff Bezos’ wedding. I have also listened to your podcast since the beginning, I am a 50s queer woman disabled by long COVID. I truly don’t expect to live much longer, I am in despair for myself and *also for all those vulnerable like me who will go down early in various awful ways, and for all the beings and souls on this planet when I’m gone. So thank you for standing up. Please stay strong for those of us who don’t have the platform you do. Much love

Delight-full
NOTE: came here to write about how sad I am and how I don't get how people are going about their lives as if nothing's happening. When I went to write that, I saw this "review" that I never submitted! This is happier: You guys, I had to pause the podcast and write. Glennon's story about her interaction with the TSA agent had me laughing so hard I started crying (while trying to put on makeup!). I haven't laughed that hard in...well I just don't know. (Could have been years ago during your episode where listeners described embarrassing moments). Anyway thanks for a wonderful beginning to my Daily Delight practice!!

When Sister Speaks
July 1, 2025 - “Don’t Tread On Me” I have followed this podcast from the very first episode, rarely missing one. Countless times I have been moved. I have been changed. I have been challenged. I have felt safe, laughed until I cried, and I have felt inspired. But in this particular episode, the brilliant Amanda Doyle has delivered one of the most important and poignant messages I may hear in my life. Every word was cut with precision and intention, layered with depth and historical truth. It is a study. I will never forget it. My only wish is that every person in this country could hear this confronting rally for America. Thank you, Amanda, Sister, you are one of the greatest thinkers I’ve ever had the gift of listening to.

I love when two areas of my life come together.
I am an avid listener of all CAC (Center for Action and Contemplation) sponsored podcasts. So I was thrilled to read the latest version of We Conspire and see the team from We Can Do Hard things featured. In particular episode 185. I listened and loved it. I have not seen the movie or read the book but will do both. You are doing great work, necessary work, and as I say to people I work with “you and your work are a value add”. Not that you add value that is given we all do, but your work is a standard, a touchstone, a value add. Keep going (as I heard on the Podcast, so right).

This Podcast is my Safe Space
My sister and I just discussed the episode on joy with Martha Beck, me living in Guam, my sister in the Philippines. Thank you, Glennon, Abby, and Amanda, for accompanying me over the years as I take a shower after a long day or wash the dishes. I turn to your podcast to feel less alone and frazzled, to be able to do hard things with new perspectives, and always with love. It just takes hearing the opening guitar intro to make me smile and let out a big exhale. I’m so grateful for each episode and for what you do for this world!!
