I like to listen to Ted Cruz a lot. I don’t like having other podcasts crammed into my phone. Please stop.

Once you finally get to the content, the show is interesting. Then there are interruptions with more advertising. I’ve decided that it’s just not worth it.

I appreciate the specific fact analysis of current events, especially the war in Iran. Especially enjoyed this week’s sharing about King David and wise men escaping temptation. Faithfulness leads to happiness in so many ways. Keep up the good work and stay strong. Prayers.

I absolutely enjoy getting my updates from Senator Cruz and Ben. However, it seems as if there are more commercials than content. There are other podcasts I listened to that do not have constant commercial breaks. An occasional commercial is acceptable, but at times I think the name of this show should be “The Verdict Podcast of Seemingly Endless Commercials”. Eventually, I’m going to have stop listening as a result of this and it’s the only reason I don’t recommend it to other people.

Love the show and all the passion and insight Senator Cruz brings to the American people. But for the love of God, Ben Ferguson needs to go. He’s so obnoxious and loud and constantly interrupting. TC is the man! But we need a new co-host.

I used to support and voted for Cruz when he first ran until I left TX 3 yrs ago. He is Israel first no doubt. He could be clear and reverse but his #1 donor will not allow. After years of listening, I’m unfollowing. I’m tired of the triple conjunctions in almost every sentence. Sen. Cruz is losing it. He needs to move on and support a real conservative.

Ted Cruz has a face made for radio, a voice made for print, and ideas made for no one.

It’s really interesting to get the behind-the-scenes stories and all of that. I really appreciate this podcast. However, if Ted’s not on it, I almost can’t listen to it at all. Ben tends to sound constipated. I really wish he would get some sort of a voice coach so that he wouldn’t sound strained and like he’s yelling at the audience all the time. It’s extremely distracting and I usually can’t take more than a few moments of it.

All this man stands for is power and an ideology that will never come to pass. He also only cares about himself. Remember when winter hit hard in Texas during COVID and he fled to Mexico for a vacation? This man is pure garbage!

I use to love this podcast. It was informative and nice to listen to. Now it’s so negative. Ted says Nixon was corrupt. Ted isn’t aware of history that Nixon was set up by the deep state. Ted is bought by the deep state and another group. I think Tucker broke his brain like Trump broke the lefts brains.

Love listening to this show. It seems like 30-40% of it is them reading commercials.

I listen to lots of podcasts and Ted tells it like it really is. He doesn’t pander to anyone and it’s a great show. The best. Keep up the good work.

Have subscribed to this podcast for 45 episodes, It’s informative—and funny! Cruz has an awesome sense of humor that makes the time fly while listening to this podcast, and it’s evident he has far more common sense than the average politician. His take on issues and inside view of “how the sausage is made” in Washington is quite informative. Listening to it has revealed to me that there actually are some people in Washington with common sense—who knew! The length of the episodes is usually just under 30 min, perfect for not needing a huge chunk of free ear time to listen to it. I highly recommend this podcast, you’ll actually look forward to the next episode. I do. UPDATE: Still a great podcast but sad that you promote a tobacco product (cigars) that causes cancer. Remember cigar fan Rush Limbaugh, taken too soon by LUNG CANCER? Don’t put yourselves on the same early death path. Find better sponsors that don’t kill you or your listeners. UPDATE: Glad the graphics now indicate a non-Ted podcast but it’s annoying to have NOW TWO other non-Ted podcasts in the cue. IF I WANT THOSE PODCASTS I’LL GO GET THEM! UPDATE: stop the bonus pods! Especially confusing if I’ve already listened to them on their own of site and they show as unheard yet.

I started listening when you started this podcast for the first impeachment…Im a staunch conservative and a 24 year veteran of the Air Force…frankly the show has become the same counter “propaganda” of the left…it’s couched in 20 min of adds and about 10 min of why we should be a supporter of Israel….Uhh this is America and I’m not America First…I’m America Only…We have people “Americans“ struggling here at home and you’re mad that MTG doesn’t support continuing to send money to Israel…we should stop most of that spending and pay down our debt as one day soon the bill comes due and our kids and their kids will sadly be holding the bill! Ted has standards and stands up for our principles in the Senate. Ben is a two bit host that regurgitates content and plays ads to no end. Ted’s decision to have Ben on his show has made it unbearable. Case in point, why all the extra content on this feed? Ben’s garbage podcast? Other low men? And now Sean Hannity? The downfall of this podcast feed has tainted my view of Ted. Hopefully he gets plenty of money from it. I won’t contribute to his campaigns any anymore.

Ted, you have completely lost your way. It is heretical to place Israel above all else and including their bombing of Christians. I listened to Verdict from day one. But your Jewish supremacist ideology and slandering God fearing, patriotic Americans who believe in free speech is absolutely disgusting. What happened to America first? WHY ARE YOU OBSESSED WITH ISRAEL, you ideological traitor to America?

I have been here since Day 1 and used to be a habitual listener. But as most podcasts go, they sell out and it becomes just an audio billboard. The first 3-5 minutes now are just ads, and they break to ads at the worst times in the middle of the podcast. Further, as a lifetime Republican, it would be nice to hear from guest of the opposite opinion. Even better, a podcast co-host that isn’t so much of a yes man and more neutral grounded. The ads are the worst though and I just can’t listen anymore.

I only give this one star because it’s not possible to give negative stars. I would like to say that you are better than this Senator but I’ve been watching you for long enough to know that you are not. 11/05/2025 - Some of the worst political analysis (to call it analysis is very generous of me) I have ever heard. Virginia is not a red state but with Youngkin winning in 2001, it is certainly not blue as you and your sidekick would like it to be.

Actual verdict episodes are great. Just the analysis and insider perspective is helpful for tempering expectations. Reason for the 2-star is more reflective of iHeart/Premiere Networks cross marketing of anything else (e.g., The 47, Clay & Buck, etc). I stopped listening to Clay and Buck because it become no longer the “Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show Podcast”, but was essentially ALL Premier Networks conservative content (not necessarily the wrong, but no way to hide/block without marking as played, which is misleading of analytics). Either provide a feed of Verdict only or stop the cross podcast marketing while attempting to the feed “Verdict”.

Absolutely love Senator Cruz and hearing about all the courageous work he is doing in the senate, but please stop adding Ben’s podcast and others on the in-between days. I just want to hear Verdict.
