I have a hard time following all the technical information so I took off a star, but that’s unfair to Fraser Cain. Just saying, this is a challenge to an intelligent but novice student of astronomy.

I love that the episodes are short, informative, and right to the point. The titles are missing their question marks, but that’s insignificant compared to the amazing info in these episodes.

When listening I can tell not only how much he cares about what he does but manages to present it in a fun way for the people, I would highly suggest listening to universe today if you any to have your science questions answered or just love space

I'm retired and garden all day listening to over 50 different science podcasts and this one is the best for some space, astronomy, and cosmology news! I found it by first listening to Fraser and Dr.Pamela Gay doing AstronomyCast together. Both are fabulous presenters and Fraser goes beyond with the fantastic Universe Today. Time well spent!

The universe today podcast, is my favorite podcast. Fraser Cain leads a team in producing a show that is disciplined to the evidence based scientific process. As I strive to live my life by the scientific process, the show is not only extremely informative and educational, it also helps me be a better person to live a more peaceful and productive life in our conflagrated times. 5 stars is my rating, some error shows one.

I’ve been following the Universe Today podcasts for years now and they just keep getting better. Their Space Bites podcast gives you great information in a short amount of time. Perfect for a drive home. The question and answer shows help you understand complex topics in a very simplified quick manner, and their in-depth interviews allow you to get the facts directly from the PhD sources. Frazier is amazing! He being very clear information to the audience. His material is great for all viewers wether you are advanced or beginner. I find myself looking forward to Friday’s when he uploaded new material and always excited to listen to a new podcast episode!

I’ve been listening to Fraiser for about 5 years. I’m trying to absorb as much space knowledge into my dense brain as I can and Fraiser does a really good job of speaking to the lowest common denominator (me). A wealth of knowledge and a podcast that really gets your mind thinking and sometimes breaks your brain (in a good way). In a world that seems to be shunning science, this podcast is a breath of fresh air!

This podcast is a mix of exciting space news, technologies and listener’s questions. It’s always well delivered by a long time space journalist Fasier Cain. I enjoy every segment of the show and if you marvel at the great beyond, you will too!

Every so often I need to unfollow shows and add nee ones. So I just starter following this show mid summer of 2023. Great up to date information! The host does a great job breaking down all the information for us. This podcast is a keeper and i always look forward to new episodes!

I love to learn about astronomy but I got really frustrated with Astronomy content online esp on YouTube. A lot is not very accurate or click baity twists grains of some new findings. This podcast is delivers 20:20 vision to anybody who is willing listen and learn. If I find some article I usually wait for Fraiser’s next podcast and see what he says about it. Astronomy cast is great too but a little less day to day.

I love this podcast! Great science journalism, and the perfect balance of hard subject matter for non scientists and scientists alike. It explores the edges of our understanding without delving into “in 10,000 years we might…” kind of thinking. Stays in the here and now with a long view.

It’s so hard to find an unpretentious, genuinely informative podcast on the cosmos. I’m so so grateful and helps me understand complex ideas even though I’m not an astronomer - just a curious person!

He covers interesting topics. But …I find his delivery to be incredibly annoying. Does not enunciate and has the vocabulary and diction of a high schooler. Cringe inducing. Also, feels like often he is trying to show off his knowledge instead of letting his guests speak. Dude - take some courses in public speaking, listen to top rated podcasters like Sean Carroll and Steven Strogtaz on how to deliver content that is rich, complex, and yet pleasing to the ear.
