Been listening for years now. Its my sleep podcast. Every night, need Morgan’s voice to sleep. I have around 50 ep. left till im done with it all. I don’t know what Im going to do if she ever stops recording 😭 Love you morgan

I’ve been a fan on and off over the years. I’ll listen for a while and then the hosts do something that gives me the ick. They platform questionable guests and ride the fence on their beliefs a little too much for me. Like take a stand or don’t you know? Platforming AI is the last straw for me as we face the environmental impacts of it. We can all have a fun goofy time without it.

Used to love Morgan her guests and her show. It always made my drive to work fun and something to look forward to however, lately it seems like she has to insert her liberal woke and white savior propaganda into lots of her episodes if not every single one like I’m just trying to hear y’all laugh stories, not talk about social injustice’s in the world. As someone who doesn’t lean either left or right it’s annoying to hear it from both sides, especially when you are just trying to have a good laugh. Talking about ICE and other current issues on your podcast doesn’t spread the awareness that you think it does. It just makes you lose fans like myself won’t be listening anymore.

Incredibly disappointed to see the use of an AI “DJ” as a co-host. I’ve been an on-and-off listener for years, but no more.

One of my absolute comfort podcasts!!! This show got me through med school and I’m about to graduate!

Good show but woof lots of yapping, lots of misstated “facts” that are actually skewed psychological theories that have been debunked for 20 years. Been having more and more moments where I turn it off because I need a break.

I do generally find this podcast, entertaining and tend to listen every week, but lately I feel like they go on forever about one story that is completely talked out. They’re talking in circles, saying the same things and read way too many comments. We get it, he cheated, he’s obviously in the wrong. Let’s move onto the next story. I also do feel like the level of man hating is a little out of control. Yes, there are really bad men out there, but there are also really bad women. I don’t tend to hear them really being fair or equal about their takes in that regard or the stories they read.

Love the show, but would like less men as guests.

I’m not sure if it’s just me but latest episode with murr has so many rewinds and skips of what they’re talking about

I have to fast forward to hear the actual Reddit stories. Sometimes I have to ff 40 minutes in and still more yapping

I have been an avid listener for years and I FINALLY finished all the episodes! This has helped me through bad days, work days, and everything in between. I love all the guests and the Reddit stories! I am not usually a podcaster but between you and Chris Klemens I anxiously AWAIT the next episodes to drop! I really am hoping to get to a live show next time!

Love this show however Morgan needs to learn how to say “etcetera” correctly. It’s so annoying to hear the wrong pronunciation since it’s said so many times. Com’n Morgan, get the “et-set-uh-ruh” right!

I really like the podcast and I’ve been listening for months now…but what gave me the impulse to write this review was the last episode with Angela. I looooooove the dynamic when she is there. Morgan laughs so hard that makes me laugh too! Also, loved the conversation in that episode and the girl power that I felt listening to it. Thanks for the show ! <3 cheers from Chile 🇨🇱 (PS. First off — Having people come on your reviews to defend you is disgusting. Take the heat. Why don’t you. This show has always leaned liberal, and that was never an issue for me. I’ve listened consistently for about three years and originally tuned in for the entertainment, humor, and conversations—not politics. Over time, though, the political commentary has become heavier and more frequent, to the point where it now overshadows what the podcast used to do well. It often feels less like casual commentary and more like agenda-driven messaging, which is disappointing for a show that isn’t meant to be political in nature. The tone increasingly comes across as out of touch and one-sided, and instead of adding value, it pulls me out of the experience. I miss when the focus was on entertainment rather than politics. Unfortunately, this has made it hard to continue listening so I am unfollowing.

I love listening to the banter and stories. I love that you address issues you believe are important. Personally I have been positively impacted by every aspect of this show. Keep doing what you’re doing, Morgan! We love you!

Morgan, I love THT! Please, don't listen to all the negative things people are saying. The people who love you, far outweigh the haters. Don't forget, these negative people are the ones taking everything posted online as fact, take everything thing they are told at face value and choose not to look deeper to see what really happening. Podcast is good when Morgan isn’t talking politics. It seems like every episode now opens with leftist ideas and closes with her political views. We’re here for the humor and drama of stories NOT your views on the current state of the country

I enjoy both the stories and hearing how you feel about what is happening in the world! You have a voice and using it. Sorry not sorry that you’re a person tapped into reality. People complaining about can just go to Reddit and read it themselves. There’s something wrong in the world and you commenting on it shouldn’t affect your ratings.

I discovered Two Hot Takes a few months ago, and it has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. It’s entertaining, thoughtful, and easy to listen to, but the most recent episode focused on happy updates moved me in a way I didn’t expect. Morgan shared a story written in by an OP who wasn’t simply recounting a moment of kindness, but intentionally using his platform to push for political and fundamental change in how this country treats immigrants. He shared how an immigrant family helped him with absolutely nothing expected in return, embodying a level of generosity and humanity that feels increasingly rare. What made this story so powerful was the OP’s clear intention: he wanted America to hear it. Not just as a feel-good moment, but as a reminder of who immigrants truly are and what they contribute to this country. So thank you Morgan for using this opportunity to share this man’s story and spreading such a powerful message.

Don’t speak on politics your state is a dumpster fire we need ice!

Actually really enjoy the podcast when it comes to the Reddit stories but find it incredibly difficult to listen when Morgan constantly feels the need to bring up politics. There are many other podcasts that discuss politics and if I wanted to hear an update on the current state of the world I’d listen to a political commentator or the news.

Lowering my rating again because this podcast used to be an escape from the real world and talking about stories. If you don’t care about our political beliefs, we don’t care about yours. Stop the political rants. You’re ruining it for us!!!

I used to really like this pod when it first came out, but as the platform grew, so did Morgan’s ability to bring politics into a nonpolitical podcast. If I wanted to listen to politics on a podcast, I would seek out a political specific pod, NOT Reddit stories.

Yet again here’s another person making statements about what’s going in the world that is literally just a podcaster. Stick to Reddit and podcasting and keep your political agenda out of it. I tried to stick through the disrespect that Morgan has had for people with opposing views as her, but it’s just embarrassing and ridiculous at this point.

I LOVE! So many podcasts lose me because of the voices, but Morgan, yours is so easy to listen to! I align with many of your thoughts, so instead of getting worked up, I get to enjoy the drama from afar. Plus, I put it on and somehow get so many more chores done! Such a great escape from reality!

I absolutely love the stories but I also love listening to y’all debate the stories. Yall are so relatable!

I’ve been listening to THT since 2021 & it is still my favorite. genuinely feel like every episode is an escape, making you think with every story. - i’m also halfway through episode 251 & it has to be one of my favorite discussions. 🥲🩷

I tried to like it but Morgan is insufferable! Justin funny and spot on. Lauren great. But Morgan has to constantly have the last word and has this mind set that her way is the only way. I can’t do it anymore.

Each episode is over an hour long…yet there are only about 2 - 3 stories because they spend 30-45 minutes blabbing over and over and over about the same thing on each story. You’ve already given your take. Read the comments, and move on. Take a hint from Smosh, Ask Iliza Anything and other Reddit story podcasts. They all do it right.

A hot take: invite someone with an opposite or somewhat opposing political standpoint as you for their take. You’ve mentioned several times not spreading hate but still villainize others at times. I think this is a great way to get actual hot takes and create common ground and start conversations again.

This show has gotten me through IVF, a home renovation, two cross-country moves, and nursing school. I love Morgan and the team! Most of the “negative” reviews on here apparently disagree with Morgan’s political views. I personally think she tries to come from a place of empathy, and I can appreciate that. Keep up the great work!

Let me start by saying this is and has been one of my favorite podcasts. Love Morgan and the crew. However they go on for way too long on each story. Sometimes they discuss one story for 20-30 mins and it feels very redundant and unnecessary for a 1 min story. I have a very difficult time focusing when there is so much rambling. Sorry guys I do love the pod but please try to focus and move on to the next one a little faster. I know I can’t be the only one!

Specifically writing this because i had never taken the time to look at the reviews - very shocked to say the least. Not sure when so many hateful people just submerged out of hiding, but I personally don’t think theres a single issue when Morgan uses her voice to stand up for human rights. It’s a privilege to say that she’s “too political” when some people (me included in disability and even being a woman) live daily affected by these things. This show has kept me going when i’m sad & stressed at work, and accompanies me every long car ride. Much love to the whole cast, but especially Morgan! Thank you <3

I’ve been listening for a few years now and I love it. The hosts are always entertaining. I’ve seen a lot of hate for your political commentary, and I fully disagree with those takes. Stories segue into politics because many things in everyday life have been made political. People just living their own life is political and I applaud you guys for using your privilege and platform to discuss it! 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
