Love this pod! Great storyline, incredible sound design (makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the action!), and great acting! Extra cool to know that Sissy Spacek’s real daughter plays her daughter in the podcast! Awesome to have that authentic connection. And yeah there are a lot of ads but… just fast forward y’all!

I couldn’t even get to the actual podcast without enduring multiple “alternative sexual lifestyle” ads. Very off-putting for all but an extreme minority of the global population.

As is typical anymore, entertainment destroyed by too many ads.

After the second episode I had to visit Google to find out if Tom Slick actually existed. He did!! Thanks for introducing us to him!

It’s extremely hard to follow the story because I think it’s more commercials than story. I has to give up listening because I don’t want to hear the same commercials over and over again.story stops every 4-5 minutes for 6-10 commercials.

This is a fun show, perfect for listening during walks. It kept me engaged without being too drawn out to get to the action and I like that it doesn't take hours to build the story—it's refreshing and different. While the credits at the end of every episode aren't necessary, they don’t detract from the experience. Overall, I’m in to it and can’t wait for season two!

This is a well made show. Music, acting, soundscapes all well done. Just not sure what the point is. It’s not funny or a very compelling story. No stakes and no mystery really. It just kinda exists. It could be categorized as a light adventure I suppose.

Wow!! The sound was so impressive on this- when listening to it on a walk, I literally thought there were people behind me, noises in the bushes, or I was getting a call -but it was all part of the show! So real! Definitely listen with headphones as recommended.

Great story and involving storyline. For those complaining about the language…it’s rated “explicit” for crying out loud. lol

A fun and engaging series! Definitely want more

This is a really neat show. It makes me think of the radio shows of the 30’s and 40’s. The fact that the show is based upon a real person is even better. It is people like this that inspired writers to create some of the most iconic characters in literature and movies; such as H. G. Rider’s character Allen Quartermain which later inspired Steven Spielberg’s character Indiana Jones. I hope others are inspired to create more podcasts like this. Shows or Podcasts like these really engage you as a listener as you create mental images of what the characters, situations, and sets look like. This allows you to have a hand in creativity of the show.

Love these but wish they were longer. With ads they end up being like 15 minutes.

This is a fun story and something you could really get kids to engage in. So why the f-curse? The language adds absolutely nothing to the story and just limits the audience. Disappointing.

Sounds fun but it’s 2 minutes of Advertisements per 5 minutes of content. Not a good ratio.

This is a well made drama, but I hate the language! Cut the foul language!

A story so engaging it is as if you are watching a movie and always leaves you wanting more! It is also a HUGE hit with my kids and has encouraged their adventurous and curious spirits. Best podcast out there - BRAVO!

As an Owen Wilson fan, this was a must-listen, but the whole cast is top notch with their voice work and storytelling! This reminds me of the old radio shows where everyone would stand in a room and read their parts with real-life props for sound effects. Just wonderful. This is fun, I hope there are tons more episodes to come!

My kids and I listened to the first episode and we all loved it! Then starting with episode 2 there is explicit language!!!! Come on! Why?!? It doesn’t help the story at all!! Clean it up and we will listen again.

Best new fiction podcast in a while!

Came for Eli Cash but stayed for the writing. Funny surprising, grounded and relatable. Combined with A+ production, this is phenomenal.

Never thought I’d ever be into Owen Wilson telling me tall tales but here we are. Great first episode, can’t wait for the second !

I have worked at the Institute Tom Slick founded for 30+ years and it is wonderful for him to be in the spotlight now. I see his legacy every day and this podcast sheds a whole new light on the man he was. I look forward to hearing the whole series. #yetipowered
