Tom‘s thoughtful podcasts are almost always insightful and his heart of compassion for the common man always shows through. He’s edgy but fair. He listens well to the individuals he interviews. He has civil debates with them that I enjoy.

I depend on Tom for his logic and insight - I consider his show highly educational and entertaining!

Long time listener. I value all the current events content but that little nerdy side kick is getting on my nerves. He shows a clear bias with his smug jokes that only he finds funny. It really is starting to taint a fantastic podcast.

Tom and Drew are a great duo who complement each other, especially when they disagree.

Although I love your show and all the fantastic discussion plus wonderful information, as audio an engineer, I really wish your producer would pay more attention to the mastering techniques of the discussion portion of your podcasts. If you master the discussion audio portion more precisely, it will more closely match the loudness of your commercials. Without it, the commercials are very harsh and almost startling because the overall decibel level is so much louder than the discussion portion of your podcast. Please give this some thought as it would make a better listening experience for your listeners and would potentially be more lucrative for your advertisers.

This guy is blind to possibilities that could be real but he dismisses them automatically because it doesn’t fit his criteria of what makes things likely to be a possibility. If he’s not looking into the Charlie Kirk situation himself then he’s not seeing what others are seeing that are looking into it. There’s lots of information I’ve seen that makes it look like the killer didn’t act alone. For example, the whole gun situation where professionals that dismantle the same type of gun say there’s no way he could’ve done it in that amount of time etc etc. His turning point partner that was shown holding his phone and as soon as Charlie was shot, put the phone to his ear in a calm fashion and doesn’t panic himself. There’s just a lot that doesn’t add up to the shooter acting alone. I’m not on anyone’s side either. I’m just waiting to see what the official responses to these things are without them just being dismissed.

I thought I subscribed to a “inspiring’, “driven”, “mindset boosting” podcast that I could listen to while going about already chaotic life. After the first episode with Stephen Bonnell came out, I almost unsubscribe this show, thinking: why I needed to listen to these prejudices, self-obsession and negativities that I’ve got plenty from people in real life…. Not driven, not inspired, just more depressed and more pessimistic I felt now after listening to that episode. Well, guess I do have to unsubscribe now after the following episode came out……. All I can say is that Tom Bilyeu was so confident in his imposing argument that he still decided to release this 2nd episode to show more of his partiality, bigotry and know-it-all. Where is the original Impact Theory?

Please have this Drew person stop making grunting or non word sounds. This is constant. What is the point. Otherwise like Tom’s program. Only listen though to ones without Drew as this grunting just so distracting.

Can’t abide your views on gender roles. A man can’t grow and become better without a woman? Seriously? Pretty gross views Tom. And, you honestly believe that traumatized children can’t recover? What happened to that growth mindset you’re always preaching about? I’m not sure why you’ve become so arrogant, but it’s a serious disappointment.

Tom is a genius. I love the guy when he’s talking about positive things happening in the future. The problem is, I feel like that happens less and less on his show now. Every podcast title is negative click bait. Can he please spend a bit more time on positive stuff. My currency in life is attention. I don’t want to focus it on depressing things in the majority of each episode.

I started following Tom a couple of years ago when I realized everything I was watching on the screen was five minutes of news, followed by 20 minutes of Disney followed by 20 minutes of sports scores. I realized I was clueless with how this world works and I needed to understand it better. Particularly, as a woman in her 60s. Pandemic all but wiped me out. I’m so grateful for Tom and Drew.

Tom is an engaging leader who covers many important issues. He is hilarious and probably doesn’t mean to be. He is extremely knowledgeable and open when he doesn’t have a deep enough understanding of a topic. My only criticism is when Lisa is on the show. She is a great person and has her own thing going on, but I don’t think shes a fit for his audience. She tends to lead every conversation down a rabbit hole of emotions, topics get derailed and I have to turn it off. If I see her name I skip it. I was a former member of Impact Theory and it was great.

There are a lot of podcasts and Internet personalities that break down current events, but most come to the same conclusions and are just half-hearted opinions based on how the “team” is supposed to think. Tom does it differently, thankfully. I started listening because I loved his interviews, but now I moreso love hearing his thoughtful analysis on what’s happening, why it might be happening, and potential repercussions. He does this in. Philosophical manner and with little bias, even though he makes it clear what he personally believes. Fantastic show!

I disagree with the onslaught of 1 star reviews for Tom. Contrary to other reviewers, he is not an Elon Musk fan boy nor a Trump devotee. He’s bringing on people like David Pakman to have conversations. To be honest, my biggest issue with Tom is his love affair with Chat GPT and excitement about AI. He’s made his money, and doesn’t acknowledge the destruction AI will have on tons of people, and just human connection in general. I’d advise him to listen to Esther Perel’s thoughts on AI. She talks a lot about us losing the ability to work through problems in human relationships / romance due to AI satisfying our every need and emotion. I still appreciate you Tom.

Listening to many podcasts, but Tom’s news update remain my favorite. Tom and Drew balances each other so well! We need more of him to give us a balanced perspective on all topics!

Tom has lost sight of the values that matter (compassion, human rights) and is now a problematic conspiracy theorist who licks boots and peddles pseudoscience.

Impact Theory is where I go to for brain growth. I fully enjoy listening to Tom and his thought process. Although Tom says his IQ is low, he is a brilliant thinker. I enjoy the show fully no matter the topic because it’s about inductive and deductive, evidence-based THINKING. The only listeners who would be closed off to any topic in the format in which Tom presents them are those who may be closed minded. Thank you, Tom, for providing such substantive shows.

I once was a diligent listener of Tom’s and his guests. I appreciated his inquisitive nature and search for the truth. Since the Trump election, Tom has turned into an Elon Musk fanboy. In lieu of his intellectual rigor, he now resorts to specious arguments and fallacies. It’s actually quite concerning that such a smart guy has abandoned all of the brilliance he once cultivated to embrace bottom of the barrel shortcuts.

I had started to listen to this podcast thinking that there were truly independent and unbiased viewpoints put forward on any topic. But I noticed that after Trump win in last election, this show has slowly aligned with Trump’s blind followership. And the Feb 5 show was that straw that broke camel’s back for me., particularly when Tom justified the military intervention to remove Palestinians from Gaza… the phrase he used, “if it achieves complete peace, use of lethal force is good”!!!! While justifying this, he even gave example of native Americans getting cleaned out and how America is currently enjoying peaceful life!!!! Tom, sorry to say but I don’t agree with this. A strong man is the one who protects the weak; not the one who wipes them out and says “Finally, we have peace!” I hope this mentality doesn’t catch up with the rest of the Americans. Drew, I always enjoyed the balanced and honest viewpoints from you, probably the only semblance of fairness left in this show. Kudos to you! Good bye and good luck!

Used to be amazing, now it feels like a political show.

I used to love this show!! Now, too much politics, and as the primary media I consume, I find that my mind is more anxious listening to all the new content. It’s interesting and worthwhile for sure, but it’s not why I became a listener. I do appreciate the throwbacks every now and then, and I have started only listening to those.

Sorry to say Tom but your attitude to the Louigi Mangione situation is the direct result of being a Trump supporter. The chickens have come home to roost. You cringe at what Trump says but now that exact worldview is what led to Jan 6 and also to a (justified or not) “eat the rich” viewpoint. Disruption and revolution - terrorist and freedom fighter. The distinction is simply which side of the line you identify with. That’s the Hitler metaphor his detractors are talking about and others dismiss as hyperbole. It’s the complete lack of empathy, counter punching and finger pointing that fuels resentment. Hitler made the trains run on time, brought Germany out of economic ruin and said what people wanted to hear. You were warned.

Would listen for self-improvement topics, but the transition to politics along with that an actual change is on the horizon feels empowering and makes me want to work harder at what I do. This certainly will rub certain individuals off the wrong way, but this transition I am enjoying.

This content is so accessible and so easy to integrate into your life. I’ve had so much tangible change.

Tom’s new content is too much click bait for me. As he switched to politics, he definitely lost me. And it’s a lot of fear based titles that aren’t appealing. Come back Tom, I miss you. 😢

Started a trial to listen to the Eric Weinstein episode. Unfortunately I found the host to be challenging to listen to. Started to tune out after he said his acoustic guitar got him laid, how he formally considered himself an artist, and how he’s given up on adults and wants to create media for impressionable youth. Bro.

The more I listen to Ron and his guests the more I love this show. I love the topics and the challenges that are addressed. I feel smarter Everytime I listen. I love this show!

I’ve been listening for years and am embarrassed that I recommended it to everyone as the #1 show I listen to. This turn he’s taken is awful. Every show is basically “You’re all dumb if you’re not blindly supporting the right” which is ironic. Tom used to host an informative pragmatic show. Now it’s a clown car of conspiracies, misinformation, and hypocrisy.

Tom serves his audience with care and integrity to help you and me hit goals, learn and grow. Thanks!!

You don’t know what you’re talking about. You don’t understand politics. Inflation has leveled off. Wages and Employment are up. Prices broadly have never and will never go down. Educate yourself.

Great interview ~ WW is on point as always

Tom is one of the best interviewers and always asks questions that they do not typically get. I’ve been a fan and follower for years. Interesting to see the political guests now but in true Tom fashion he is just trying to learn more, expose followers to different view points and to seek answers. The people who condemn certain guests don’t understand what impact theory is really about.

Been listening for years, and I’ve seen it slowly but surely turn into yet another podcast that holds almost entirely right wing/corporatist views. Most of his guests are conservatives now, he’s not at all hiding it. And to each their own, he’s obviously free to do so, but I can’t take such biased views seriously. And no, I’m not a “wokie” lib. I’m a moderate independent. I just can’t stand the cult of Trumpistan, which this podcast is now an undeniable part of

Tom takes his listeners on his own learning journey. His natural, compelling curiosity about our society mirrors the national conversation that independent thinkers in America are having. You can actually hear him learning while he talks to his guests. “Explain it to me like I’m five” is a great example of how he pulls out the most salient points the listeners need to hear from his guests. It’s a great use of your time to listen to the end of each episode.

I’ve listened to this show for 5 years. It was recommended to me by someone and I found so much value in it that I’ve recommended it to at least a dozen others. Never before have I regretted that decision until now. Tom’s recent episode with Gad Saad was an abomination. Tom allowed what worked out to be a thinly veiled Trump ad to go on with the lightest pushback I’ve ever seen from him. Even the times he began to push back, like when Gad Saad claimed there are no actual signs that Donald Trump wanted to undermine democracy in the US, he had to sheepishly say “This isn’t me speaking, but January 6th was sorta bad, but this is me speaking as someone with Trump derangement syndrome. These aren’t my own thoughts!” Grow a backbone or be upfront with your shift to a more common grift. Here are some asinine notes from Saad’s comments that received no pushback. We are told by him to look deeper at Donald Trump’s policies and not take him at face value. We are told the exact opposite about Biden. We are told there are no examples, and no one is able to provide any when asked, of Donald Trump having an affinity for being a dictator (there are several, Tom, maybe read an article with some quotes from the man himself). We are told to believe that Biden is a greater threat to democracy because of DEI. Saad is unable to clearly articulate why DEI is such a threat aside from a story about a single university making 2 diversity hires. He’s either ignorant on the topic or purposely gaslighting folks to believe that DEI itself is anti-merit, and I’m happy to come on and explain it to both of you anytime. We get to hear this man proselytize about the American president needing to be more feared and unpredictable to be able to work with middle eastern leaders. We are told that Obama is the equivalent of a sexy woman selling a product but lacking in substance (several issues with this, no pushback whatsoever). We are told Trump is the opposite. Sam Harris, who I respect but pushback on on many topics, is mocked for having a lisp and being progressive simply because he sees Donald Trump as a genuine threat to democracy. This was one of the most one-sided, intellectually dishonest interviews I’ve ever heard from Tom and it’s both deeply disturbing and disappointing. There are so many other examples from this mess, but I’m too exhausted from waiting for Tom to make a single, genuine counter argument to list them all. If Tom is no longer capable of producing a podcast that is a better quality than this, I will be forced to stop listening. I am one node in this network, but I’ll be sure to turn off the 12 or so others I’ve turned on in hopes they’ll do the same. Do better.

I always appreciate Tom bringing on guests that challenge both sides of a viewpoint. I couldn’t help but interpret the interview with Destiny as a possible new way for him to gain viewers/listeners. With the mentioning of Candice Owens along with others on the right taking a much stronger right leaning stance, Destiny sees the benefit of taking the opposite side. Both sides are playing on the high emotions of viewers/listeners. Tensions are definitely high in our country and hope we’re able to see that there could be some out there cashing in on it.

I usually enjoy your show, but I can’t believe you wasted two episodes on Destiny. What a waste of time. I’m disappointed that you would give that much air time to that idiot.

Listening to the 2 part show with Dave Rubin I realized how two privileged white men really don’t have the same worries and take on public policies that I do and that is who is running the show. Reminded once again that wealth and the patriarchy rule everything and they think it’s best for everyone. The glory days of 1995 or whenever they were trying to say racism and prejudice did not exist is a ridiculously tone def goal to reach for.

Tom's podcast was a disappointment. The host is very set on his ways and does not allow the speakers he invites to fully share their ideas. He invites people that are clearly smarter and have more insight than him but then attempts to have them view things from his perspective. That is unfortunate and his lack of growth mindset makes this podcast unsatisfying. His "insights" are often shallow and uninteresting, they are only opinions that lack depth. He often references his personal experience which proves to be limited and not very thought provoking. I suggest Tom listens more to his insightful and wise speakers and allows us to hear their messages rather than attempting to over imposing his ideas on them.

I’m a huge fan, listen to you and your wife’s content. Also buy your products with Quest. Just opened a bag of protein chips. Price gouging at it isn’t finest. Barely anything in the bag. Why even waste the bag? A bag is 32g I measured 28g. So disappointed in your company, sad
