As a fan of both Doug and Hoovie this was my favorite ep of this podcast EVER. I laughed SO MUCH. The Doug, Tyler and Nick dynamic was amazing. More Hoovie please!

Came here because I got tired of Matt Farrah’s constant political commentary. This is refreshing, clean automotive content.

I love his car views. I use YouTube kids because I was banned from YouTube for watching it too much but he has every video I want. I just want to update his channel more like one say three days.

I really want to like this podcast, but I cannot stand how rude Doug is to his co-hosts. You can tell he does not respect them. He talks over them. Interrupts them. Makes them sound stupid for not talking about exactly what he wants them to at that exact moment. Everything feels forced and awkward.

Great insight from Doug and the team. It gets better every week!

It’s so funny and informative about what is happening in the automotive space. I listen every week to see what is happening. These guys together work so well. They have such a great banter between them. Would 100% recommend.

Please don’t get crazy with ads. The most recent episode on 06/13/25 had way too many ad breaks.

Everybody talks over to each other, everyone’s in a hurry to say what’s on their mind, but not to a point where the thoughts are flowing and makes sense

Doug DeMuro is awesome and it’s so great to hear him in long-form. I’m thankful for the weekly entertainment this brings!

Super entertaining

I’m a big fan of Doug’s automotive content, and appreciate this show’s comfortable and causal feel. That approach is also what’s holding it back slightly. I think Doug knows how to talk on a podcast, having so much experience in front of the camera and as a guest on other shows. The problem is his “friends” talk so fast and mumble half the time to a point where on a flight I slowed the playback speed to 0.75 and laughed at how “normal” they sounded. With a tweak of journalism training and realizing they’re doing a show and not actually just sitting in the garage shooting the breeze, and these guys would have a really solid show. Doug is friends with Matt and Zack from The Smoking Tire and maybe he can bring his friends up to LA to learn a bit about how to level up a podcast.

I have been watching Doug for yrs and this pod is unreal. It’s so much quality information with the perfect amount of automotive opinions about topics. Also a very upbeat pod, definitely will give you a few laughs 5/5 stars!

Doug & crew do a great job of keeping the topics fresh by covering the news and other topical stories about cars. I like that they talk generally about all cars - enthusiast cars and consumer cars, modified and unmodified, luxury and sports, they cover pretty much everything and do it in a succinct and entertaining way

I like the podcast and all the info that they give but when listen in my car or through my headphones I need to set it to 90% full volume to have a good audio experience. This isn’t a problem with any of the other podcasts I listen to.

This car pod is the best car podcast!

I listened to the are EVs cancelled podcast, lots of EV bashing but nothing about EV sales increasing quarter after quarter. History lesson, in 1968 auto makers said seatbelts would cause them to go bankrupt. 1973 nobody wanted “rice burners” until fuel crisis. 2004 if you owned a hybrid you were a “tree hugging libtard” now maga republicans say that hybrids are the future. American Auto makers are great at marketing. That’s why every homemaker drives a lifted pickup or suburban which are high margin trucks as opposed to a sedan. If you listen to this podcast for their opinions, that’s great you probably like Rachel Maddow or Sean Hannity also. Not the podcast to learn anything. It’s basically 3 guys talking cars and giggling into the microphone. Not a horrible podcast but nothing you’re going to learn anything from.

Interesting topics and entertaining, but there are a lot of ads interrupting at inconvenient times.

Doug enjoy the YouTube reviews and this podcast. Reinvigorated my love for cars.

Not sure if they are just super excited or they are competing for who can speak the fastest. I had to check if playback speed is correct.

I’m fan of everything you guys do, but can you please fix your audio. I know you record in a garage, but it shouldn’t sound like you are. If the Donut guys can figure this out, you definitely can.

If you want to hear Doug Demuro insult his friends loudly into a very hot mic with tons of reverb on it while banging on a desk then THIS podcast is for you.

The number and frequency of ads, often awkwardly inserted mid-conversation, have made this a no-go. Add in the appalling acoustics, and this is no longer worth the download.

Omg who approved 5 ads within 5 minutes?! If this is how the show is going to continue it will be borderline unlistenable.

There seems to be a great format here and a lot of potential but I’m trying to listen to the September 13 episode. It was absolutely painful. There was an ad every three minutes. It was horrible. Would never recommend us just because of the ads and ad placements

Has me listening to episodes over and over (which I’ve never done with any other podcast) and has me questioning if I should quit my very good paying job to become and intern with C&B just so I can have a front row seat.

Excellent podcast but with the amount of times they pull up cars from the website you’re better off watching the YouTube version of the show. I find myself pausing the pod and looking up whichever car they’re talking about.

Great automotive podcast, 2nd place to the Carmudgeon Show for me. But for the love of god, please get rid of the ridiculous reverb on everyone’s voice on this show, especially Doug. It makes you sound like a cheap used car lot advertisement on local TV. Which is funny, but only if it’s intentional, you know?

Awesome hearing Doug let it rip on some hot takes. Still can’t tell the difference between Kennan and Filipo but I like them both so no biggie.

Adding this to weekly listening for sure. Been looking for another entertaining car pod & already ripped through all the episodes.

Great car talk that’s mostly enjoyable to listen to. Sometimes the tangents get a little long, they often talk over each other which makes it hard to listen to, and sometimes Doug insults the people who submit questions.

I put this on and I am entered from start m to the finish. Everyone one this pod very likable individuals
