Zach Lowe is the best in the business, actually does the work, watches tape and has insider information. No one provides what Zach can…which is really apparent with the guests he is bringing on this show. Zach I beg you to get people that actually care about basketball like yourself instead of Beck (who is bland, does no research, and can only posit the highest level questions to Zach) or Mo (who literally can’t explain why anything is happening and regurgitates Zach’s opinions back to him). Btw I love Mets Corner please keep that going, but for your regular show at least bring on interested people like Mahoney. Keep up the good work Zach!

“Welcome to…” a great show, that has been ruined by subpar guests, increased frequency leaving less time for research and stats, and less editorial oversight, allowing for non-sequitur commentary. Of all the guests, Mo Dakhil is the worst. The only positive thing Zach can say about him is that if you wanna know what happens in the game, listen to this guy. He adds zero value, all recycled takes, no stats, says nothing that anyone off the street can’t parrot for an audience. What happened to the pod I love? This used to be a staple in hoops nerd fandom, now it feels oddly commercial and somehow less relevant at the same time, aligning with the ringer brand. Love ZL and the insights on the game, hate the new direction this pod has gone under the current platform.

I’m a longtime listener to the Lowe Post and the Zach Lowe Show. So, trust me when I say: Zach is the best. You won’t find a greater commitment to mediocrity in all of podcasting. I listen to multiple NBA podcasts each day and this one is by far the most so-so. Keep up the mediocre work Zach. I’ll keep listening, maybe. If I feel like it. Or, maybe I’ll hire somebody on Taskrabbit to listen for me.

I love this pod, always have. Mo Dakhil brings absolutely nothing to this podcast though. I don’t want to be harsh, but he never actually adds anything of substance to this. Perfect example: Zach asks Mo how the Nuggets are staying afloat without Jokic — Mo doesn’t even mention a single Nugget! Zach has to answer his own question after mo just discusses toughness and the 2010’s Spurs (which he does every podcast). Cite a damn statistic brother!! He kinda just says a lot of stuff without saying anything at all. It’s an all time great podcast, but I think Zach needs to move on from Mo Dakhil.

Zach, you keep forgetting that Juan Berringer is part of the KAT trade. He was the draft pick that was included along with Randle and Divencenzo for KAT. Wolves DEFINITELY won that trade.

I needed Zach Lowe back in my life

His guests consistently suck. Too many D-level Ringer guys. There’s no justification for Wosny to ever be featured. I’ve heard the four same storylines all year, almost every episode, with the occasional surface level trade/injury reaction. 1. Lakers are meh 2. Giannis trade destinations? 3. OKC is great 4. Flips between Hornets/Hawks are good/bad actually Feels like Zach lost his fastball now that he isn’t writing. We get the same surface level takes recycled each week. Hot takes. Player/team rankings with 20 seconds of analysis. Same teams/same players every episode. Where’s the 12 minutes on breaking down the Nuggets going 8-3 without Jokic? A full analysis of how the Suns are over performing as a playoff team? Literally any breakdown of the how’s and why’s for any team? A deep dive on end of rotation guys that came out of nowhere and are actually good? That kind of stuff used to be the Zach Lowe guarantee. Used to be an auto listen as soon as an episode drops, but now it sits in the feed. Soon I’ll be skipping. Disappointed more than anything. Hope the Lakers fire JJ for being meh again so we can get some real NBA podding back.

Zach, please let your guests talk more. Stop with the 5 minute comments/questions when you have guests.

My favorite basketball show and I’ll keep listening, but I’m increasingly uncomfortable with Zach’s 5 minute lead-in to any question before he lets the guest speak. It feels borderline disrespectful. Ron Mahoney generally gets to talk, but Fred Katz, Michael Pena . . . Not so much. If Zach knows everything, why have a guest? If he doesn’t, how about letting them talk about the Spurs or whoever first once in a while? Appreciate the work and knowledge - smarter than I’ll ever be about anything. But please let your guests talk first sometimes!

Love this podcast. Zach brings actually fresh takes. Keep challenging your guests to be a bit more insightful, some guys tend to play it too safe. And I get parents with kids, but man these clean shows are everywhere. Love how Zach shows some actual character, once you start bleeping things and putting the brakes on you lose the heat.

Zach is just good at his job. Easy listen. Good work.

Please never invite Chris Vernon back on to your show. He sounds like an inebriated hayseed who fell off the turnip truck on the way to a pawn shop. His words are neither interesting nor informative. There must be a more competent and insightful source for commentary on the Memphis Grizzlies. And if there isn't, then I pray that team never makes news again.

Zach is the absolute best and ESPN are a bunch of idiots for letting him go. I don’t think the new show is as good as it was on ESPN. Too much talk about other sports. No one cares about the Mets! I used to love that your show was clean so try to chill on the cursing. I’d like to see more guests who aren’t a part of The Ringer already. Less Howard Beck for sure, he’s unlistenable and has ruined the Real Ones podcast.

I’ve always love Zach Lowe‘s podcast. In fact when he went off air, I stopped listening to Basketball podcast altogether until he came back but now with the ringer, they don’t edit out his curse words so I can’t listen to this in the car with my son if he could stop swearing or edit/bleep the curse words, this would definitely be a five star podcast. Zach I believe in you buddy you can retrain your thought process to stop dropping f bombs

Love the show Zach. ESPN made a huge mistake. You’re obviously a very talented commentator. The NBA owes it to its fans that a REAL investigation is undertaken. What is the relationship between the law firm and NBA? Has Wachtell done other business with the NBA and knows where its interests lie? It seems to me the FRATERNITY of wealthy NBA owners will do whatever it takes to protect one of their own. If you can convict someone of a felony on circumstantial evidence then there is enough to find fault that the Clippers circumvented the Salary Cap. With that said, I will be surprised if and or little is done to the them.

Here’s the kicker. Leonard already received 21 million for this deal. I’m sure the IRS is going to want there cut because no doubt Leonard did not declare it on his 1040. That is the hammer.

I missed his podcast when ESPN dismissed a ton of talented contributors. Glad he’s back, even if the new podcast name doesn’t really compare with “The Lowe Post” on ESPN.

I don't know why but it just doesn't have that same zing as The Lowe Post. Maybe it's the Ringer's production. Maybe it's releasing shows in late July that were clearly recorded earlier and they're just not up to date. Is Trey Liles to the Lakers THAT important? Not really but it just feels like you're trying to get one over on us when talking about him as a possibility to an Eastern Conference team on your tiers Pod. Tighten up!

I am a newer listener to Zach and it took me a while to warm up to him but now if I see a new pod updated from him I will stop whatever else I am listening to and switch to him immediately!! He’s so captivating!!! Thank you!

For someone who is a Mets fan and a huge basketball fan Mets corner is a great addition to a terrific NBA podcast. Hopefully the Mets are still in it when the NBA season starts!

I’m glad this show is back, and Zach Lowe is as entertaining and insightful as ever. The old show had great guests for Lowe to bounce off of, but the new show has waaaay too many Ringer people. I stopped listening to the Ringer NBA shows because I found those guys so annoying. Please bring some of the ESPN on the show.
