HECKLEFISH MORIARTY FOR PRESIDENT

Very interesting podcast - but there are advertisement breaks literally every five minutes. I timed it once, and it was four minutes. Half of the show is just advertisements - it’s the exact same ads over and over. You might get 5-8 minutes of actual content in between the 2-3 minutes of ads. Very annoying, especially when you’re driving and can’t safely skip through the ads.

Very professional voice that makes the topic clear and easy to understand. I would say without hesitation that this is my favorite podcast. Hecklle fish is hilarious😂 and the song at the end is amazing!!! Keep the good work up! Hope you come to Christ AJ, I’m praying for you! I greatly respect you, love the work you do!!!!

AMAZING I’m only 9 and I’ve almost listened/watched all off the episodes it has ALL of my favorite topics like the island that sunk and alien

Great show, a sane and objective approach to mysterious and unexplained phenomena. But the show squeezes in WAY too many commercials. The editing for the Basement is also atrocious. Commercials interrupt when the host or guest is in mid-sentence or even in the middle of a word. At other times, the host will say “let’s take a break to hear from our sponsors, then continue the interview!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️. Just take less 💴 and keep more listeners. You can then charge more for your commercial spots.

I love this show, but having 10+ ads in a 30 min podcast is waaaaay too much.

Stories are great but there are way too many adds I mean a lot of adds. So much so that it’s hard to listen to

I just recently found this podcast/youtube channel in the last few months and have been hooked. I love the compilations, and how AJ tells the “myth” or conspiracy theory first in detail, and then at the end debunks it if at all possible. My favorites are the UFO ones and the dark histories of our government. I was skeptical of HeckleFish at first, but the more I listen the more I appreciate the comic relief and the effort that is put into making good content for everyone. So Thank You , can’t wait to see what’s in store in the future, and be careful .

I’ve been listening to this since I was 9 And I can confidently say this is the best podcast I’ve ever listened to in 14 now and still loving it don’t ever stops ps I love heckle fish also his jokes are the best

I love this podcast. It is so entertaining and the basement makes time fly by so fast. Heckle fish is so funny, and AJ has the best narrating voice. I rated four stars instead of five because there’s a lot of ads in the podcast. But it’s still number 1 podcast for me. I also love the Greada Treaty episode. That episode is my favorite podcast episode out of every single one I’ve ever listened to in my whole entire life. I love the interviews AJ does with people in the basement. They should keep making more of the basement episodes. Well, that’s the end of my review.

Love the show. Give the story or theory, present the evidence. Let us decide. Love the fish we think hes hilarious. Dont mind the ads… because i pay for podcast add free. But seriously guys complaining about the guy making money off ads, just pay the five bucks or better yet go to his Patreon or whatever membership platform hes got at the moment. Cant get enough AJ keep up the amazing work.

These long form interviews are really blowing my hair back, great for making the work day fly by! This show genuinely has one of the best portfolios of work to peruse, and every bit of it is thought provoking and entertaining! Thanks for the wonderful work, AJ; and kind regards to the Hecklefish! P.S. AJ, you need to interview Dr. Stephen Pidgeon! He heads the Cepher project, definitely worth a few hours talking to the man. He speaks several languages and has encyclopedic knowledge of Near Eastern and European cultures both historically and currently, and was a Constitutional lawyer for a time. One of the most interesting men I’ve had the privilege of listening to.

Dude, a 28 min episode had 15 min of ads. Come on man do better. This guy is a hardcore right winger conspiracy theorist but tries to act “smarter” than everyone. F this show and the 15 ads you have to sit through.

I’ve always had a fascination for all things weird and unexplainable. The Why Files definitely satisfies my curiosity by giving plenty to ruminate on while I travel for work.

Commercial breaks every few minutes are killing me. Love the show but can you please do commercials at the beginning like how lex fredman does it or just make them longer to reduce the amount of them you have so they don’t constantly interrupt the conversation

Compelling, well explained information inexplicably interrupted by grating, unfunny interjections by a “side kick.” I brace for the voice the entire time; I can’t even listen.

I’m a baker, and I spend all my time decorating sugar cookies while listening to AJ and Hecklefish. This is literally my whole personality.

I just started listening, but that huckle character is unbearable to listen to. I’m liking some of the episodes but I can’t listen with that character he has constantly inserting in. It’s so annoying

My God, this show would be 5stars and I'd share w so many people if not for this absolutely insufferable, asinine fish. Its the worst thing ever. I can not hate a made up character more lol. The jokes are awful, the "fish" is constantly making bad ex wife jokes, and the voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Look I get that it was a fun bit in the beginning, but it's ok to evolve and mature beyond this made up character, especially since you've exploded and are hosting really important people and sharing important information. Any time I share your show with anyone, they can't get past the fish and its a same. Please, for the sake of your credibility and for the love of your adult audience, please evolve and put the fish to rest please. It's way past time. Lastly- just wanted to comment that this show has more ad interruptions than any podcast I listen to. C'mon.... dont be greedy. It's really lame.

I work nights in retail so I have many hours all by myself. I binge episodes for over half my shift. I love heckle fish. Thanks for all the work you put into the show. I truly appreciate it

Has to be a record for number and frequency of adds played during a short podcast. Decent show but I turn it off about halfway through any episode I listen to due to the ads. I can put up with the fish, but not the ads.

This show is both entertaining and informative. Cannot conceive of a better format. Thanks AJ! I love this specific episode (Knights Templar re green jar).

I binged from the first episodes to present. Listen closely, his speech betrays him, the way he glosses over things to fit the narrative, and the fact that he was classically trained for broadcast… he is a plant. The facade of “I’m just another guy doing this from my basement.” Please. The last episode about the Knights Templar… he literally told everyone he was a Mason at the end. Why be what you are “out to expose”…?

It’s never been a stand out, but it’s pretty clearly changed for the worse. Ad breaks are understandable but the ratio is 5 minutes content 2 minutes ads for an hour. Interview format is popular, but I liked this show because it wasn’t the same book tour softball interviews everyone else was doing. Show ideas are running low, I think he’s making them up himself at this point. Liked the show, but there’s not much left of what I liked about it. Needs more focus on what makes it special, not trying to be like everything else.

AJ Gentile is the best in the business presenting thought provoking and tantalizing topics with intense articulation, amazing information, and infectious entertainment. You’ll be drawn in to every episode and left wanting for more. By far my favorite…a do not miss Podcast for conspiracy truth and an absolute mountain of fun. I was a fan of Art Bell and his show. I would listen to his show with my brother. Sadly I lost my brother and then Art Bell. That man knew how to develop an interview and story. I never thought I’d have anything like that again. Until I found The Why File I thought that was gone forever. Thankfully I was wrong. Mr. AJ Very interesting and entertaining. He knows how to present a story in a very interesting way. He doesn’t attack or insult people just like Art Bell he presents the information and you decide. As for Heckle Fish; fantastic!! He keeps the story light and very witty. The Martin and Lewis or Abbott and Costello of our time!!! We, sorry of. . . Thank you Mr. AJ, Heckle Fish and crew.

The most commercials of any podcast I have ever listened to. I unsubscribed at the 6th one in a 30 minute episode with 10 minutes left.

You have done an incredible job at gathering facts presenting them in a way that keeps and holds your interest. I recently listened to the basement conversations with Chris Bledsoe and Tim Hogan that was very very interesting. And heckle Fish I hated you the first few episodes but now I love you if it takes a while to appreciate your “Scaley”humor!

You used to be a great channel to listen to now you just play gassy nut job story’s of hearsay and zero credibility. You are a joke and wouldn’t be surprised if you were somehow affiliated with the government as a pawn.

I love this show very enjoyable and informative and he keeps it fun

I absolutely love the Why Files. I listen to them driving to work, at work, driving home, out in the middle of the desert, wherever! Super interesting show.

Edited to add: Nevermind. This guy is too good at the what he does to criticize. Turns out, I love the fish. I would love this podcast if it weren’t for that incredibly annoying little voice who chimes in with little quips here and there. I’ll be very much enjoying it, then get overstimulated because of it.

Hecklefish does a great job on this podcast. Great topics, entertaining, and funny. Oh, AJ is pretty good too.

Stars from 1 to 4 AJ. The new formats are banging. Campfire stories and the Basement is great. I do want more of Hecklefish. Please try to incorporate him a little more. Quickly becoming a legend

They started retelling stories like the count of St. Germain did a whole thing on that show when he already talked about it previous episode so we learned nothing new . I think they’ve run out of ideas. Also why do they need to do ads in the podcast? They literally make like 30k or more a month just on Patreon. How much money is enough?

One of only 2 podcasts I listen to. Joe Rogan is great too but my favorite episode of his is with AJ🤣

Really a standout podcast but unfollowed and cannot listen to that annoying co-commentator or whatever that ridiculous noise is. Moronic.
