Had to choose between subscribing to Big Sandwich and the Gamey Gamey Game Patreon and I choose Gamey Gamey Game because it seems like they need it more. Give this podcast the money that I couldn’t! They accept Bitcoin and NFT’s.

Someone should really give these blokes a contract for $10 million minimum to not make content, and I mean that in a good way! But really, the lads have made my morning and commute to work so much more enjoyable over the years and I wish them nothing but more success. Times top 100 or bust!

This pod is and will always be my favorite. Between Austin Powers’ guest appearances and Little James hanging out with James and Mason, this show has never failed to pick me up when I am down. If you are looking for a great show for all your pop culture news, this is the one and only option you should go with. Best podcast ever!!!

First podcast I ever listened to and will always be my all time favorite

This podcast has seen me through some tough times & chill ones also. Never fails to cheer me up while also making me feel like my weird sense of humor isn’t just me. Definitely give these guys a shoot. If you regret, I’ll give you a US penny.

I think i stayed because of the banter and because i got enough people in high school to say “give it a googs” i wrote this review last year because i was feeling heartfelt at the time (not unlikely due to a heartfelt story from a fellow listener) and i don’t know if it actually posted. now im just reviewing the podcast for attention

Honestly just a very solid podcast with two people who are seemingly just regular people who are nice (unless they aren’t) and who aren’t trying to push snake oil or energy drinks. Consistent and funny, do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

This is one of the only movie podcasts I’ve listened to that actually sounds like two friends having a casual conversation. It’s the best. Never mind that James claimed that Barry Levinson was responsible for Tootsie, when he only did an uncredited rewrite on the screenplay. I’ve been only listening to this podcast for a couple of weeks and it’s already been one of the best podcasts I’ve heard

Like a lot of their audience, I came to these guys during COVID. Their good cheer helped lighten the days, and I’ve been listening/watching ever since. Really enjoy the vibe; I’ll listen to what you guys have to say even when the industry is producing little worthy of in-depth discussion, because your jovial banter keeps me engaged. Thoroughly appreciated.

Love these guys but had to drop this review after James ended their last episode praising Tom Cruise’s current hair for his Mission Impossible 8 press tour. Cruise has had a history of great hair but growing it out at his age is not looking good for him. Paired with his signature aviator sunglasses, he looks like MacGruber.

The Mr. Diarrhea is even older than you think. The song your referenced is actually based on a Monkees song called “Zilch” from 1967. Ha.

The definitive podcast on fake hair in film, TV — even streaming. This isn’t discussed enough! More actors are enhanced than you think. But none of them are getting by James’ and Maso’s eagle eyes. Expose big Hollywood hairpiece!

From tuning in every time I mowed my lawn as a kid, to every night before classes in film school right now, this podcast has never gotten old. The fact that I was drawn in with the trailer breakdowns as a prepubescent child but stuck around for how relatable the “sorry to get political” segments have that get more and more common become, is a testament to how much these guys are just the Australian Statler and Waldorf (you know who’s who…)

James and Maso! You guys feel like close friends, been listening to your podcast since the first episode, found you all on Comicbookmovie.com ages ago. Love the banter and your open minded takes on things. You guys help get me through my Monday mornings here in the states. And let me tell you, it’s a hellscape here everyday. Best place to go to have comic book movie news shot up your butt hole

Whether you’ve been listening to The Weekly Planet for two weeks or two years, you always feel like they’ve been there all your life. There truly is no podcast like this one, with its many hours discussing comic book movie news, or general grievances with the world at large. This show is a comfort I always know I can come back to on Mondays and Thursdays.

These gentlemen run the foremost The Rookie rewatch podcast. They always leave the Rookdate until the end of the show, which is frustrating, but would recommend to any The Rookie fans!

I’m writing this five star review because I’m assuming James did not reveal his recipe for slow oats (sloats) with Greek yogurt at the start of the next episode like he said he would and I would like to hear it.

Used to love this show. Now it’s full of ads. Getting some ad revenue is totally awesome. But opening with 2 minutes of ads. Doing your own ad read in show, and another ad break in the middle is too much. Godspeed gents.

This show is such a delightful listen! It stars Rob McElhenney (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) as James and Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) as Nick. They play Australian best mates that talk about comics, movies, and television to the best of their knowledge. Truly. Sometimes they don’t know what they’re even talking about. I couldn’t love it more!

I saw James at a grocery store in Melbourne yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Violet Crumbles in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I’ve been listening since 2015, and I’ve been a BigSandwich.co member long enough to go back through all the old content, and I finally feel comfortable saying: this is a good podcast. It’s a shame James went to jail for his pita pizza crimes. I’m Big Ears Batman!
