Mailbag episode (2023)
I am waaaaayyyyy behind listening, but really liked the mailbag episode. At the end you talked about responding to feedback — respond to this: KEEP SINGING! IT’S GREAT!!

Love it!
I’ve been a fan since the Dirty Jobs days. I loved the short format, but I love the longer ones even more. As a homebuilder, the work you do to get more people in the trades is truly admirable! Keep up the good work!

Engaging and Entertaining
Mike always makes the conversation relevant and engaging even with guests I think I’m not interested in hearing. I’m educated and entertained every time I listen.

Love, just love ❤️
Coffee with Mom is my favorite episode of The Way I Heard It 🥰 As you were reminiscing about your barbershop quartet days, I wondered if you ever thought about making a recording.

Interview suggestion
Listen to Tucker’s interview of Charlie Kirk, he talks about what concerns young men who are actually financing pizzas, can’t afford rent or a mortgage. Charlie talks about the unfilled need for the trades.

My favorite podcast
I love to listen to Mike Rowe. Not just because of the smooth velvet that flows through his pipes, but because the topics are always thought provoking and just doggone fun to listen to. Thanks, Mike.

Love it!
I left California 10 years ago at age 49 with my wife and kids in tow. I’m glad that there’s still something good coming out of my birth state, and that is this podcast and Mike Rowe Works!

What a Voice
It may be cliche, but I’d listen to Mike read the phone book. Still, his conversations with people are extremely interesting- no matter who he’s talking to! And he talks to people from all walks of life. Never a dull moment on his podcast. Even the ads are interesting- as he inserts barbershop quartet music into them!

Teeter podcast

Schooling and Marketing
Your show is great and I laugh every time you mention Mullally, he hurt a bunch of senators feelings and happened to be lucky enough to move forward without them, read American Icon. Part of moving forward was telling the story of not taking the money from the government but if he didn’t withdraw from the hearings the broken egos would have turned down all the automotive companies.
I also think that Sandy Munro would be a great interview for you, he has worked his way up in the automotive industry even though one of his teachers told him he should be able to pump gas by the age of 30 with the proper training.

I Like Mike!
I will listen to ANYONE whom Mike interviews. He not only invites on interesting guests but he also MAKES them interesting.
I love his barbershop quartets - he is so very clever!!
Having worked in advertising, myself, I might also add that Mike is the pen ultimate advertiser. People say they hate advertising, but they don’t hate good advertising. And Mike is one of the best!

Long time fan
At one point you were my only Podcast, but the ‘people you should know” aspect is real…Found some amazing other podcasters, who are also saying important things, because of you!
It also doesn’t hurt that your audio quality is amazing! Great job to all those involved, and your voice, which is just so relaxing. I love the commercial jingles too!
I’m a long time fan. Keep up the great work…or Dirty Job…or whatever you wanna call it! ;)

Lost the common ground
I used to really enjoy this show when it was the short stories. And when the format changed I found myself enjoying when Mike interviewed guests from across the spectrum as I was able to find some common ground. Even with the guests that were more opposite leaning than myself. Sadly though as time has carried on, I’m finding that more often the content is just not my cup of tea anymore.

Must Listen
Every episode is excellent. I learn so much from these guys. Keep up the good work. This is a “must listen” podcast. I’m learning how to find all the old ones and listen to them all.

Thank you Mike for bringing this information to the country on your platform! Our heroes soldiers and LEO’s alike need help and not SSRI’s and Opioids…this podcast gives me hope. I lost a stepson to the after effects of three tours in the sandbox, life taken by his own hand. God Bless what you do!

Just a Great Show

Salena Never Gets Old
Another interview with Salena where her ability to set the stage, make you feel like you are/were there makes all the difference.

Fun; informative, uncomfortable; real!Go listen!
Enjoying every TWIHI podcast! I just finished the Jillian Michaels episode. I think everyone should listen to it. You could have talked for 3 hours and I would have been glue to the audio! It was very informative and I think I could have learned more (with at least 3 more hours 😁) Thank you for being willing to uproot the algorithm. We need that; we need those not afraid to get to the truth. In fact, Mike should have her back, and maybe stick to one or two issues, to be more specific about.

I just listened to the Jillian Michael's episode. I'm so glad that Mike brings on guests from all walks of life. Hearing different perspectives allows us to analyze and grow. Left, right, or center, it's always informative and entertaining. I love this show.

Episode 440
I would think such a talented writer could communicate without that language. I’ve listened to all 440 episodes.
Please work on that. I can’t recommend this episode to anyone.

Interviews getting old
I Miss the old format. I like the interviews but feel Mikes moms is the best of these. I miss the stories. I find myself tuning in less and less. I’m quick to shut off a show and feel at times it not entertaining like it once was. I just wish it was the way I heard it of old. I listen to the intro and turn off the interview ..
Always top notch show just don’t find all these people that interesting to me.. and I remember when it was more of a mix of things than what it’s become.. thanks

Great stuff!!!
Mike and Chuck bring thought provoking insight regarding interesting people of our time. Funny, edgy at times, some times gutteral, but always inviting the listener to think… an activity largely extinct in our world today. Oh, say hi to your mom and dad, and Chuck.
Its a croc
Always a great listen
I’m listening to the Codie Sanchez conversation and her comment that “pessimists sound smart and optimists make money“ was a little nugget of gold. Every podcast episode delivers several nuggets that stick with me. I subscribe to several podcasts, but always pick and choose which episodes to listen to. Except for this podcast. Even when I’ve never heard of the guest, I never miss an episode of Mike and Chuck.

Great stuff fascinating, Fun and Poignant
What’s not to love about Mike Rowe! Really great subjects and amazing interviews. He even sings. If he danced ( do you dance?) he would be perfect!! I tend to skip around to find different shows, but the most recent lessons have been episode 438 and 417. Both are completely different, but both are so special and important! Many thanks to Mike and company
