Have you ever felt like the scale is basically your worst enemy when it comes to your health and fitness??I hear often from the ladies I work with that theyâre either weighing themselves daily and are super fixated on the results, or theyâre never stepping foot on the scale and want to steer clear of it all together. Either way, the scale still seems to control SO much of how we feel about ourselves and our overall health. This is something I've personally struggled with in the past, because the scale used to hold so much meaning for me too. Fortunately, Iâm in a place now where I donât dread stepping on the scale. Itâs simply a metric for me to celebrate my bodyâs capacity for strength and transformation; the number staring back at me doesnât dictate how I feel about myself, or my worth. While I do believe the scale can be very helpful and it is important to understand, itâs not the âbe-all, end-allâ when it comes to your health and fitness. It IS possible to foster a healthy relationship with the scale - one that aligns with your fitness goals and your emotional well-being. No matter where you fall when it comes to the scale, I want you to be confident in yourself.
