What’s up with ads recently? Ryen will be in the middle of a segment or talking point and it’ll just cut in a random add.

Great show but the ads are now random throughout the shows. It’s very confusing.

Podcast makes me feel like I have friends……and then reminds me why I don’t.

After all the horrible stuff Will Cain has said and done on Fox News (he’s a cowardly debater, too), I just can’t continue to listen to and support this show since they defend him and platform him. The infamous Trump/vote for tax breaks thing from years ago was bad enough. To bring Cain on, make excuses for him, etc. was incredibly tone deaf. I’m out.

Really enjoy the podcast overall but have to add extra shout out for the interview of Ron Chernow recently. Very insightful interview!

Russillo is getting worse. I’ve been a fan for over a decade. I don’t know if he is distracted or finding success somewhere else but it is catching up to him on the pod. He is not the guy he used to be. Maybe the success on the pod got to his head? He seems more worried about the numbers so he is afraid to offend anyone, which leads to long winded takes that say nothing. A toothless sports commentator is just not worth the time.

Russillo gives great opinions on cfb and the nfl - great show. His sidekicks provide great opinions and are great personalities. Love the humor and life advice obviously is the greatest segment in podcasting history.

I want to like this pod because I know that Ryen cares and puts the time in to watch games. But he’s such an annoying guy. Worst interviewer ever. He’s such a lonely loser, the only time he actually talks to anyone is when they’re his guest. And all he wants to do is tell the guest what he thinks. He'll go on a two minute rant and make it extremely awkward for the guest. Speaking of awkward, how many times must Ryen start laughing when he talks. Just a normal sentence spoken by Ryen interrupted by Ryen laughing at something he says. Weird And why on earth do these idiot listeners ask for marriage or children advice from a fatherless 50 year old single man. Life advice is the absolute worse. Doesn’t help that Ryen thinks he’s Louie CK and ceruti and Kyle laugh like 12 year old school girls to boost his ego.

Maybe I’ve been an avid RR listener since his come up at espn because I am a cranky early 40’s bachelor as well haha. Honestly what I like about his style and analysis is the lack of hot takes and recency bias that you get everywhere else. He understands that everything in sports and life isn’t always black and white.

Why is a middle aged white dude bachelor who talks about sports for a living designating himself as a sage of life advice?… “Here’s what to do if somebody hits into you.” “Here’s how to deal with getting someone else’s mail…” This is actual content. What a joke.

The Ying Yang Twins and Clippers dance team commentating is excellent, you won’t find it anywhere else!!

My favorite thing about Ryen is his podcast is literally a snapshot of his life, and it seems like he has no TV persona or whatever, he’s just a real dude.

Wargon is a much needed addition to the crew. Please do a Wargon interview

Been listening to RR since ‘09. Gotten to the point where I know what he’s going to say about every sports story, so I really only listen to life advice these days. What a crew. Those dudes are the best. If you’re an actual reader, the interviews with pop/fluff historians offer zero substance and are insufferable.

No balls to mention anything related to the fascist cult in this country as it might “alienate” fans.

I actually came away more impressed with the state of podcasting

More authors on. I love Ryen’s interviews and have read many of these books on his recommendation and enjoyed them immensely. Dan Jones may have been the best one yet. Please keep mixing these in with the regular sports content.

As much as I love the sports takes , I’m really starting to look forward to the off season when you do more books! Keep it up man !!

I disagree with many of Will’s takes, but he is a good guest. If you cannot listen to someone with opinions different than your own, your opinions are probably close to worthless.

Did you know that Will Cain is the smartest person in the world about any and all topics? Spend two minutes listening to him talk, and you’ll see what I mean. I finally had to fast forward the podcast…the PTSD from the Russillo and Cain show was too painful to experience again. I nonetheless remain a huge Russillo fan and will continue listening no matter what.

I listen from time to time. Host has often logical takes. Todays pod had Will Cain. Whoa. Doesn’t like the nba because of his « politics ». Like what exactly ? Maybe I’m wrong but the clear inference was either racism or possibly some anti-woke thing? Have on any guests you like but I have the right to not listen to any show that lets someone spout something that blatant without being challenged on what exactly he meant

Pods great, analysis of Mahomes is lazy. Allen makes more unbelievable plays in a single game than Mahomes has in a career. Do better. 5 star pod.

Just an exhausting pod to listen to. Used to like Ryen a bit but the constant SEC riding makes it unlistenable. Coming from a man who supposedly “loves” college football. Maybe less tape and more common sense. Don’t waste your time with this pod, it’ll just make you angry.

During one of the life advice sections, halfway through the letter they just totally stopped reading the guys email and started talking about different drinks and snacks Kyle likes. Literally dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and biggest waste of time. Made me hate the pod completely
