First political programing I started watching years ago and now I listen to your podcast version 💕

I have listened to Rachel’s news for a number of years and appreciate her typically researched approach. I was initially confused when I didn’t hear any reporting on Gaza/Israel, but now, after complete avoidance for almost 2 years it is clear that is by design. Even if the show wanted to report on their support of Israel I’d have more respect than I do for this complete blind eye to what is happening. I am a pragmatic liberal and how Rachel is conducting herself helps me understand how the far right are painting journalists these days.

Rachel Maddow’s avoidance or limited engagement on the Gaza genocide despite its centrality to international news and considerable human rights implications is why Americans don’t trust their media even the more Liberal ones that should be more sensitive to international law. How can this show stay relevant if it only focuses on Trump’s missteps.m?

Anyone who actually believes one syllable from this lier communist deserves what they get! Constant lies CONSTANT !!

If you’re looking for the latest conspiracy theory or just plain old don’t care about reality anymore this show is probably the best place for you all things considered.

Your show is the only show that I watch on MSNBC after what they did to my beloved Joy.

This woman is a liar. She doesn’t even try to get beneath the most surface layer narratives but just spews her weak-minded propaganda perspectives. She is a disgrace to the memory of the lost art of journalism.

Maddow, you were supposed to realize and mention the the band was playing Bella Ciao, the international anti-fascist anthem, in the faces of those wretched Proud Boys!

Just like on her show, I really appreciate how Rachel Maddow takes events of the day and connects the dots in a digestible, storytelling manner—all with facts. She is definitely a news source that I trust.

She really is fake news. She mostly reports on opinions with no sources. If her audience is anxious, it’s her fault. That is the entire purpose of her reporting. She incites and rationalizes violence. Do yourself a favor and let this woman become irrelevant.

Rachel Maddow is the best factual storyteller! You learn something new every time you listen to her viewpoint on a matter. Truth and facts vs. “alternative” reality.

I went into a slump after your first 100 days was complete bc what you report is the best of the worst and I could take some refuge in your unique, passionate and compassionate voice and reporting. I’m so grateful to be listening today! Ok, I won’t give up.

Impotence

Just because there are protests about something doesn’t mean that thing is bad. Stop reporting half truths about everything to spin it to your agenda. Make an argument for something instead of getting angry about everything. I would love to hear both sides of arguments, please provide them.

Sometimes I feel Maddow speaks with a tone that gives the impression we’re hearing from her something (many things) for the first time — when, I, for one (and no doubt like many viewers), are very aware of the issues. As a result, I feel sometimes like I’m being talked down to. I suggest Maddow find a way to speak to her audience in a way that takes into account the fact that it’s possible or likely many of us — while open to new information— are also apprised of much of the subject matter.

This is straight up disinformation. As a nonpartisan individual I wanted to listen to both sides arguments but you can’t trust most of what she’s saying. She might tell what happened but not give the whole story or the actual truth. For example in talking about the federal judge that was arrested she said “she was arrested by the Trump administration as a gross use of power” however the judge had helped an illegal immigrant escape and even destroyed evidence. This is a crime and the judge should be arrested no matter what party they belong to and whoever is in control!

Of the military parade, the weekend golf trips, and January 6 cannot be over emphasized - and don’t forget the grift

Rachael love your show, keep it up I like watching historic shows on various channels. I stumbled across a 1975-8 documentary called “The Road to Pearl Harbor, 1919-1941.”. It was very fascinating to see what was going on in the 20’s and early 30”’s with Hoover. The big rush on immigration, tariffs, nationalism. Pretty amazing to watch. You should watch this. Hopefully we don’t let history get as far this time. Good luck to us all.

But I know you now. Thank you for your hard work, thorough research and candid assessment of where we are in Trump 2.0. I can’t say that you made me feel better, but my eyes are wide open. And I appreciate the healthy dose of sarcasm with which you report the news. Have to find someone new to do at 9:00 pm weekdays.

Good show. But why take so long to post the episodes? CNBC Fast Money posts each episode within 15 minutes of the end of the show so obviously it can be done.

While the media, including Rachel, narrates the downfall of Elon’s political career by highlighting his public failures and embarrassments, it conveniently disregards the fact that, prior to Musk’s entry into politics, there were more than a dozen federal investigations targeting him and his companies—investigations that have since disappeared. Some of these investigations had the potential to result in criminal charges or the loss of government contracts. Despite Elon’s alleged public failures, as portrayed by the media, he managed to preserve government contracts worth $8 million per day while also securing new contracts valued at billions of dollars. This selective some might say incompetent storytelling by the media, including Rachel, underscores both the reasons and the mechanisms behind the elections of 45 and 47. Do better.

Her opening segments are always great, but her telling the story (the night of 17 April) of The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere went above and beyond. This podcast keeps me sane. Rachel is a National Treasure.
