Manosphere
The “manosphere” episode pretty out of touch. To still characterize these podcasts as primarily spreading misinformation is exactly why Trump won.

Favorite show
One of my favorites. I used to listen when it was twice a week. Everyone at NPR is doing great and it’s sad they are trying to defund. They don’t know half of what PBS and NPR do.

Thanks
Thanks for covering the Epstein drama. We cannot let this circus go to rest

Epstein
I just listened to the show regarding the Epstein, conspiracy. For me a primary concern is that none of the wealthy men who went to Epstein’s island to rape or exploit these very young girls have faced any consequences, except for Prince Andrew, who had to step back from his role in his royal family, but no one else has faced any consequences other than Epstein himself and Ghislaine Maxwell. I’m thrilled that she is in jail for a long time, but what about the people who victimized the girls? Where is their accountability? That’s why it seems like a big cover-up on behalf of these very wealthy men that Epstein hung about with, Donald Trump included.

No discussion of Brazil?
Extorting a sovereign nation with an independent judiciary to drop the prosecution of a coup leader/corrupt leader or be tariffed ought to be worth some time on an episode about the regime’s nonsensical, make-it-up-as-you-go tariff whack a mole 🤷🏼♀️

Judicial review
The districts courts over engaged in their actual jurisdiction.
They are local federal district courts, not national Federal courts, that's the Supreme court so this ruling makes sense.
Two, NPR should be defunded. Your reporting is 100% anti conservative. My understanding is the staff is 100% on the left.
NPR will actually grow it's revenue when it has to market for itself.
Take out California and Thumper won by 10 million votes.
Try being more fair w conservatives and grow your audience.

Love in the time of Politics
How can you discuss young people’s political views and dating and not even address abortion and reproductive freedom? This is a super relevant issue for people of reproductive age and the more restrictions on abortion the more women are going to protect themselves from men who wish to control them.

Meet the moment
Please do not continue to sane-wash this corrupt and criminal president. While we still have free speech, use it to tell the truth without false equivalencies. Republicans are hypocritical, lawless, and immoral. This president is destroying our country and we’d be foolish to think he won’t sell us down the river. The stakes are too high, so please stop acting like this is normal.

Thank you Ladies
Having listened to your podcast on Trumps change to the Judicial Department. I would love for you to see the corruption in my home state. I’m uncovering that a lot of judges don’t have oaths of office on record.
Thank you for you knowledge and sharing!

Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault.
NPR has been truly serving the public for years doing good work. They have great integrity and serve the governed not the government. Democracy dies in darkness and NPR Politics has been a light and allows us to see the stars. No press is perfect but they have always strived to serve the moment and the people. Thank you for what you do. Knowledge is power and you are a driver of such a creed. Thank you thank you.

Want Politics which isn’t boring?
I’ve been listening since the beginning and I think NPR Politics podcasts tries there best to get it right without spin. I find the journalists seem to be genuine and passionate in their reporting.

Left leaning
I would love for a podcast to report facts on both sides, not just ones that push their own agenda.
I’m gonna say it
Falling birth rates
No one appears to think that having fewer babies is less stress for the planet’s resources. We need to get used to cyclic economy instead of an endless expansion. Fires, floods, changing weather patterns are going be more frequent. We need a paradigm that deals with those things

Democrat Opinion Podcast
It’s pretty obvious who funds your podcast.
Well look at this!!
NPR is a taxpyer-funded, far-left wing media outlet.
Several "hosts" earn $500,000 a year in total compensation.
Weird now the crazy democrats are mad about your podcast.
The Democrats are almost officially done :)

Here from The China Show
Having listened to my first episode on Trump’s first 100 days, the podcast is tight and focused without the vitriol, fear mongering and fire and brimstone hyperbole that typifies left leaning media. This tenor gives this frustrated listener hope that NPR can return to the reasonable left-of-center position this nation came to rely on before 2020.

Great podcasts, with one fault, and one serious mistake
Always very well done, well researched and presented, but the giggling is a distraction. The serious mistake was in the roundup on the last Fri in March, woefully wrong. The efforts to limit people voting is intentional voter suppression, beginning with Paul Weyrich, the most influential unelected man in modern history. “I don’t want everybody to vote.”

Children’s Show
Conjecture supposition and inane waffle apart from Dominico Montenaro.
Should change the name of the show to Gen-Z.
Even NPR reportage is becoming more and more Gen-Z with purile presentation and reportage.

Disappointing nonsense.

Please fact check
I listened to your episode on Mahmoud Khalil. A comment was made that Khalil, a Syrian national, has family ties to Tiberias that you stated “is now in Israel, but was previously Palestine”. In fact, prior to the establishment of Israel in 1948, this area was under a British mandate. Please fact check. Such errors make me question other data you present.

NPR listener turned away
I used to listen to NPR because I thought they actually served the public by presenting facts and evidence. I’ve since switched to listening to actual news sources like Majority Report. NPR has shown constant sympathy and support to Israel for the past the year and a half genocide on Palestinians and it is atrocious and disgusting. Ignoring the full scope of a genocide and refusing to share pertinent information on the ample evidential war crimes Israel commits daily is fascist behavior from NPR. This makes it impossible to
1. Distinguish if what they are saying about other topics are correct
2. Determine propaganda
I just want a news source that I can trust and NPR is not it anymore.

Your response to the SOTU
I was really disappointed when you discussed the ejection of Rep. Al Green for disruption but you didn’t bring up the previous outbursts/disruptions on the other side for Obama’s and Biden’s SOTUs and how certain GOP Rep.s were not ejected.

Wonderful Show
This is such a fabulous podcast, I’ve been listening for years and I’ve yet to find anything comparable. Thank you for all you do, especially for the recent coverage of harassment in the federal judiciary. As an attorney, it meant a lot to hear these issues brought to light.

Can let it go
Listener intros, irritating march music, endless recitation of each of your titles (at beginning and end) and the tiresome can't let it go. These all should be eliminated or changed. The bonus segment on Dept Edication was superficial and useless. It could be a decent show if you cut out all the baloney.

Blow Jobs At Work as the Can’t let it go
The hosts decided to laud the lady who blew her boss at work on the pod today.

Lacks Cohesion and Tone
I understand that this is NPR and that’s stands for bland and dry. With that said, the degree to which this podcast underplays what is happening in our country right now is insulting. It takes the form of both-sidism and taking on a preachy and condescending tone when engaging with the audience who wants the Democratic Party do more to combat the Trump administration.
These people will be doing neutral, bland discussion while Trump marches them off to prison.

Both Sides/Normalization = Capitulation
I never thought I would see the day where NPR lacked the journalistic spine required for journalism in the second Trump era but here we are. I’ve been unable to listen to the show since last summer when I they began their peddling of the both sides/normalization nonsense and attempting to frame the current moment through a pre-Trump lens that doesn’t exist anymore.

Lame & Harmful
I am stopping my NPR donations immediately because of this podcast. We are in a constitutional crisis. Your lack of holding congressional Dems accountable for their lack of action to obstruct the republican agenda is infuriating and your lighthearted tone is gross.

Dramatic turn right since inauguration
I have listened to this show since shortly after it started, and its coverage has often been brief but also detailed, well reported, and in context. Since the election, and the inauguration especially, the hosts have accepted obvious bad faith claims and arguments as fact, for example sticking with the claim that Doge is sincerely about “cutting costs”, despite the abundant and glaring evidence to the contrary. It is now less a news show than one simply regurgitating administration talking points. Really disappointing, and the hosts should be ashamed of their capitulation.

Just the facts
Sad to see people attack this podcast. Half say it is a liberal propaganda machine. The other half say it is legitimizing the Trump administrations crimes. I guess if you make everyone mad you are in the right spot. Its funny because everyone from any side calling this propaganda is really angry that it is not propaganda. They want a podcast that agrees with them, exaggerates, and calls for political action. Thats not npr.

Guess you gotta be “relatable”, but these correspondents deserve the chance to be professional. At the least, let go of Can’t Let it Go and the godawful listeners intros.

Disappointed
Used to be a daily listener. I stopped donating to NPR based on the coverage in this show. Quite glib about how the current Trump administration is attacking our republic and the shadow government is running things. Your listeners expect more than this podcast attempting to legitimize what is illegitimate. There is truth and fact but these presenters aren’t interested in being honest and would prefer to subjugate themselves to the administration.

Sane-washing Trump 2.0
“Elon Musk is keeping his campaign promise of trying to cut $2 trillion of federal spending through his unit, DOGE. After some questions about his role, the White House announced that he is now a "special government employee." What has Musk been able to accomplish thus far?”
This is the description of the 2/4/2025 episode. STOP SANE-WASHING THIS ADMINISTRATION AND CALL A SPADE A SPADE. Elon Musk is an unelected foreign oligarch who is attempting a hostile takeover of the federal government. Stop trying to both sides this and start calling this out as the dangerous and unprecedented thing that it is. Stop kowtowing to Trump. That is how we ended up here again. Stop failing to meet the moment with your weak journalism.

I feel like a better American due to this podcast
I love the coverage and the information shared. It makes me feel informed and involved. I appreciate it is not about politicians, but about good journalists reporting on the information given. Non-biased and well informed.

Miserable
Tamara Keith’s lack of journalistic skill and integrity is part of the effort that lead us to where we are. Oligarchy, release of criminals from jail who are not on the streets, hold on cancer research money. Both sidism was strong in her coverage but facts analysis was not. She bought the Trump line hook and sinker. I don’t trust her political coverage, and I find no helpful insight from her. I’ve seen enough fail upwards. Much better experts and podcasts out there. This is a big no thanks.

Disappointed
I used to look forward to hearing this podcast but now I find myself rolling my eyes through it. I listen to hear a synopsis of the latest political news and instead it has devolved into supposition, opinion, and nonsense. I’m thoroughly disappointed and honestly don’t know how much longer I will bother listening. I’m giving 2 stars just because I’m an optimist and I hope this is just a temporary dip in quality.
Updating to reflect further disappointment. Today’s episode on a second civil war is ridiculous. The commentary doesn't just ignore the risk of violence we are facing, it denies the probability completely. The country is not just divided philosophically - there is a large contingent of people who have been stockpiling weapons with full intention of using them. Enough of the euphemisms - pull your heads out of the sand.
New edit: I’m tired of the “lighthearted” tone and laughing through serious news. It’s not worth following this show anymore.
