Idk what to put here, I just love the show!

Ever since I was introduced to this podcast, I can’t stop listening!! It’s amazing and I have recommended it to lots of family and friends.

I love this podcast so much in fact I’m listening to it right now. It makes me laugh and cry. I also like that this podcast gives me warning what I mean by that is it tells me if the story is edgy and violent

This podcast has made laugh out loud, shed tears, gain new perspectives, and given me hope for humanity in times of uncertainty. I love it so much I even went to a live show once! Every episode is moving, entertaining, thought provoking, and connecting. Thank you to all the story tellers and producers of the show!

It’s almost never quite what I expect, in a good way

I found The Moth by accident when I took a job with a very long commute. I had run out of storytelling podcasts like Spooked and Radio Rental, and was looking for a new one to fill the void. I wish I could remember what the first Moth episode I heard was because I was hooked instantly. I realized I knew them from NPR, but now with the commute, I literally sat down to a buffet of hundreds of stories. I wish there more years available, I’m almost out of backlog!♥️💔

This podcast has been a lifesaver for me. Since my cd player in my 2011 Toyota died, I can no longer listen exclusively to my audio books. Since discovering The Moth, I’m even happier to listen to the amazing stories often. Thank you Moth!

The Moth is always great but I especially loved the latest “Beef” show hosted by Chloe Salmon. After several really difficult months I found myself laughing hard toward the end of the show. I loved hearing the storytellers celebrating their beefs. It was very liberating. We really don’t need to take anything seriously. Thank you.

This podcast is great for drives. Some of the story tellers have me in tears, while others make me laugh like I’m hanging out with my closest friends. If you’re driving and you see someone laughing uncontrollably—they’re not crazy. They’re just listening to The Moth.

This podcast is perfect for relaxing,and long drives we’ve never been to a moth story slam but we hope we will soon!

Long time listener now I have to pay to enjoy. Looking for new podcasts to listen to. Disappointed

I always find the storytellers to be deeply thoughtful, insightful, and sometimes even funny. I love hearing stories from a huge range of perspectives! My favorite thing about this show is that they do not discriminate; just about anyone and everyone is welcome, as long as they have a story to tell.

ALL of our lives are experiences, like chapters in a book. Many themes, many emotions, many lessons to learn. When I listen, my life expands and reminds me I am Not alone; there are many ways to face unfamiliar situations - and I grow some. It’s good to realize there are many ways to live.

I go to this podcast when I want to experience a small taste of someone else’s life packaged almost always with a hopeful or joyful or funny message. It is fun and enjoyable.

It keeps me entertained when I’m on long road trips or cleaning very kid friendly which is great because I am a kid.Makes me 😂every time but also makes me feel great 💕💕💕I absolutely love this podcast.It helps me understand things better.And if you’re still looking for something to listen to you just found it.

This is a wonderful show; I can’t believe that it took me this long to discover it. I love to hear all the stories; whether they are funny, sad, or anything in between, they are always thought-provoking. Please change the theme song, though! It literally hurts my ears every time I hear it, especially when wearing earbuds.

I am old and retired and broke. I wanted to listen to Franny's last ride by Mike outta New York. Finally, I was able to trace it through the Internet to Moth. it was right there in front of me. I could see it, but in front of that was a page where I had to donate money. I tried to get around that page but I couldn't. My retirement is 1800 and change. My mortgage is over 2000. I do not ever remember the Moth ever asking for money, so I'm hoping it's something new. A as huge fan of the Moth I new I am sad for the old and poor that live thru Mike and Franny. I don't wish shame or guilt on any Moth but I suspect there may be some dwelling within. Love y'all and you too brother Mike. I've an 05 Roadglide that has my soul in it. And prayers that Franny that she's living her dream just in a different venue. Fish Local boy not far from Woods Hole, or Boston. Love y'all.

I adore “The Moth.” There is always a story that connects us as human beings. However, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the Sept. 30 episode, specifically, the story by Brian Jeansonne. His story will strip you of any self-pity that you might have. It is a beautiful story about a phenomenal family. Close your eyes, listen, and have gratitude for everything in your life. ❤️

I’m 12 and love this podcast

I’m a frequent podcast listener, subscribing to multiple types from crime and science to news or human interest. The Moth is such a beautiful collection of storytellers, I’ve found myself more than once laughing aloud alone in a room or feeling so heartbroken by a sense of shared experiences from these oral authors, tears streaming down my cheeks while riding public transit. I wish there was a way to produce more eclectic tales, enriching the experience for the listener, without having to fit the mold of a theme. Either way, beautifully produced and eternally grateful for this podcast!

I’ve been listening to the moth for as long as I can remember. I love these very real, very relatable stories. It gives me hope for my country to hear from people that are slowly but surely more ethnically, culturally, sexually, or otherwise "diverse". We are all "diverse," and we are all alike if we suspend judgement and listen to each other. The storytellers, in their sometimes brutal, naked honesty, are just like us. They are flawed, beautiful and oh so lovable. So are we.

I like the Moth, it used to be one of my favorite podcasts but the loud cheering and clapping from the audience, the loud trumpet theme song and the loud ads just make it nearly impossible to enjoy the lovely stories especially at night when all you want to do is unwind, relax and fall asleep. For those reasons I haven’t listened to it in a couple of years at least. If they could somehow isolate the voices of the storytellers and tone down the jazzy trumpet (I get it, you can play the trumpet) it would be a much better podcast.

I once gave a good donation to Maine Public Radio in the early Y2 years, but I haven’t been able to offer much deserved support for the podcasts I love. They were all free when I started listening, and now I feel shut out and fear that before long I won’t have any access to these wonderful educational podcasts. That said, what I really want to say is that Moth Radio is SO ENGAGING and WORTH a SUBSCRIPTION!

I’ve never listened to another podcast that repeats their content as much as this one. At least other podcasts are transparent about their “encore episodes.”

Podcast has changed over past two years and not as diverse. I stopped listening to the last story today about the bookstore. Maybe it’s me, but I used to enjoy the wonderful stories from different walks of life but recently it seems to be same story over and over basically.

Incredible, eclectic, experiences that enrich and entertain. A must listen!

Love the humanity and vulnerability of these storytellers. Yay for The Moth and all the people it has inspired to share their world.

Been listening to the moth since I was a little girl. I’m a grown woman now and I’m still a huge supporter. The show has broaden my perspective and nursed my curiosity. Keep it going 🫶🏼

the stories are good but i am tired of the reruns and repetitive topics. glad that you are being inclusive but inclusive means EVERYONE. trans and queer people seem to be majority of these stories.
