More than a productivity podcast
This podcast, as well as Kendra Adachi’s books, have helped me far more than any time management or productivity product. The Lazy Genius is all about becoming a whole person— the person you actually want to be. Her podcast is funny, full of grace, kindness, and practical strategies.

Great podcast!
As a busy mom of four this is the podcast I need to listen to to navigate my life with grace. It’s full of great tips to do life better but also reminds me I can’t actually do it all, all the time and that’s okay! Kendra’s books are excellent and the podcast is more helpful advice and reminders like what you’ll find in her books

Never miss an episode
Kendra’s personality and show is equal parts entertaining and helpful. I almost always laugh and feel better prepared to go into my day, week, or season. Her principles and words have become ingrained in my head like “make it smaller”, “good is here right now”, and “live in your season” and my life is better for it! Keep it up team LG!

A Must Listen
The Lazy Genius Podcast is the only podcast I have to listen to every week. There is rarely an episode that doesn’t pertain to me in someway. Kendra‘s mindset shifts, her tips, and her motivation help me look at my every day life, as a stay at home mom, in a totally different way. She has helped me stay organized. She has helped me make my home and family routine work for us, not against us. I love her books, but I think I love her podcast even more. Thank you Kendra for all that you do.

My favorite podcast
My life has genuinely changed since finding this podcast thanks to Office Ladies. I realized I was living life as an anxious, obsessive and overly productive planner deeply in the efficiency and “greatness” mental trap, and after 2 years now and genuinely feel that I am better at making decisions, kinder to myself and my people, and I actually am MORE productive and enjoy my life more. Thank you Kendra and team so so much!

Used to love this podcast, now seems out of touch
TLG used to be my favorite podcast, with awesome, life-changing suggestions. Congrats to her for growing her brand, but lately she is appearing more and more out of touch with the audience that helped her become so successful. It’s been progressively going downhill the last few months, but when her “Things that are saving my life” include: pool time/ pool showers, how to avoid noticing the toilet in your bathroom and weekly steak dinner nights, those just pushed me over the edge. Maybe her bougie audience members love those kind of tips, but they just aren’t feasible for average families that are really looking for practical ways to help them get through the everyday struggles of running a family.

Needs to relate to wider audience
Kendra has a large audience. I wish all her advice was not centered around kids the age of her kids, school, teachers.. I think there are a lot of women out there that want to be lazy geniuses that don’t have kids her age… or families with kids that are not as compliant as hers! Teens who are never home, not open in the least to bento boxes and ice cream nights! Sometimes Kendra will say she is going to provide relatable information to all, but it just goes back to advice around her demographic, family situation. How about single women? Empty nesters? Older women? We will need to wait until Kendra gets to that stage to get that advice I guess.

The Big Sister I Never Had
I am the big sister and your typical type A perfectionist but with ADHD. These do not pair particularly well. However, for the years I’ve been listening to Kendra, I’ve not just received the tools I need to get my life together, I’ve also received permission to let some things go (now that I know what matters and what doesn’t!) Thanks for reminding me to be real and human but giving me confidence to tackle whatever is ahead, big sis Kendra!

Good humans
I am a long-time listener and use the principles all of the time. Episode 427 was exactly what I needed right now. Thank you Kendra and team LG for not ignoring current events and how we are affected/can affect them.

Used to be a must listen
The first seasons are amazing! Her political views really don’t fit the genre and I would give more stars if she could refrain from adding them to her podcast; especially if she is not keeping up to date on current events as she admits on this week’s podcast.

No no no let this be a politics free space
Kendra, you fell into the same trap that Emily P Freeman did a few months back… you let politics seep into a wi derail podcast that should be apolitical. Whether I agree with you or not, I come to this space to escape all of that. So disappointing.

Deciding once to unfollow!
Loved this pod until it got political. Helpful tips but that’s what we come here for, not Kendra’s hot takes on today’s world events.

see for yourself!

Good podcast, but wow the ads…
I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast, especially the episodes from the earlier years. However, recently the amount of ads has been ridiculous. Maybe if it was a 1-3 hour episode you could justify them, but often it’s 10-15 minutes of content with 15 mins of ads. I know you can fast forward, but if you are in the middle of cleaning and your hands aren’t accessible or if you’ve walked away from your phone, it gets really old really fast.

Helpful! Simple as that.
I’m a very type A and organized person but sometimes I just feel stuck and don’t know how to prioritize or figure out some household jobs. Kendra has such simple advice that helps clear the fog. Thanks!

This is the podcast I always come back to! I love how practical and actionable each episode is. Kendra’s recommendations are so helpful and really make a difference. She is calming and encouraging and reminds me it is okay, and even ideal, to start small. Love her podcast, love her books, love Kendra! This podcast is magic. Always helpful in a compassionate way
My take aways from Kendra always change depending on my mindset. Every episode or listen gives me something to apply right away while giving me room to breathe. Thank goodness for this community!

Not relatable, hard to get through
Have listened to a few episodes and cringe during them. This podcast seems to be for moms who stay how all day who have a hard time filling their days. As a way to avoid an aimless day she recommends scheduling nap time. Can’t relate to it at all. Additionally I find the way she talks and mannerisms annoying which is just a personal peeve. Not really sure what her goal is with this podcast.

Love Kendra
I found the podcast after I heard Kendra speak at a women’s conference. I love it and her books. So helpful for my life.
For anyone complaining about ads, it’s really easy to skip ahead.
Keep up the great work, Kendra!

Love it!!
This podcast is so calming. For someone who loves organization, systems, and new creative ways of thinking of things…. It is like a warm bath for my brain and soul!

10/10 recommend
This is the only podcast I listen to without fail. I’ve gone back and listened (or relistened) to every single episode (they’re the perfect length!) and can’t get enough. Kendra’s “big sister energy” is helpful without being bossy, and while not all of her suggestions work for everyone, the principles she implements absolutely do. Sometimes I listen for the comfort of her voice and vibe, and sometimes I listen and take notes. Either way it’s a win-win.

Sorry, Kendra
The beef tallow skincare ad was my last straw. Great advice, but cannot support.

Love this podcast!
This podcast is such a breath of fresh air. Not only is it full of practical advice, but she also offers very helpful mindset shifts that take the pressure off of perfection while still reaching for a goal.

There’s an episode for that!
Whatever is going on in your life, there is an episode for that, or close enough. I started with her book the PLAN and worked backwards through her books and wanted more. This is it. Practical, compassionate, grounded and kind. I love that she brings up therapy and releasing perfectionism and makes me rethink things I’ve believed my whole life and were just harmful.

Fascist propaganda
I was excited to listen to this show more frequently until I saw a literal Christian music album was listed. No matter how crossover they seem, it’s all fascist propaganda. Do better.

No Guilt
I love how Kendra encourages us to live our season and what OUR home needs. She helps us avoid judging ourselves based on those around us. And stop judging others. This podcast is always do-able, not unattainable! ♥️

Been listening for a long time!
I look forward to hearing from Kendra every week like she is my friend!
I listened to her last book The Plan and look forward to getting the book for myself for Mother’s Day and marking it up.
Ps Kendra keep the music album suggestions coming-
I love your taste in music!

Long time listener
I really appreciate this podcast!!! Kendra has helped me through all the seasons of the year and also a couple seasons of my life! As a disorganized thinker, I appreciate someone helping me clarify what is best for me and my family with a few questions. I feel a lot less judgment towards myself, and I like to think I've become a more easy-going parent. I have two of her books and plan on purchasing the third! I also recommend going way back in our part of the show and listening to earlier episodes, too. Lots of great stuff!

Thanks Jenna and Angela!
I found out about Kendra from The Office Ladies podcast and I’m forever grateful! I’ve read all three books now and frequently ask myself The Magic Question, remind myself to live in my season and practice pivoting when my plans inevitably fall prey to the life machine.

Too many ads

The big sister I always wanted
Kendra IS the big sister I always wanted. After several years of listening to this podcast I’ve learned to manage my life (and myself) with clarity efficiency and most of all kindness. Thank you Kendra!!!💗💗💗

More ads than content
I understand that she must be able to generate income but the show has become more advertising than content. Every few minutes of content is followed by a huge ad block. The show feels like it is just a formula now that leads to selling her books and offering discount codes for products. Has lost a lot of its soul.

The actual best!
Kendra has been blessing my eardrums for over 3 years. Even now I continually find gems to incorporate into my life as I work towards becoming a lazy genius! She is funny, compassionate and clearly has so much passion for what she does. Subscribe to this podcast… you won’t regret it!

Refreshing
I love everything about this podcast, it’s encouraging without being overwhelming. It feels like a space I can breathe, glean and relate to someone- like coffee with a good friend after a hard week. Can’t recommend this enough!

Just What I Needed
Once I found Kendra, I never looked back. She’s so compassionate in the way she helps me create some order and balance in my life. I have even purchased two of her books and can read them through in her voice. It’s like your sister being right there to walk you through life!

Thank you!
I enjoy hearing Kendra talk about how we can better plan for ourselves and our families. She’s funny and kind and realistic and enjoys reading! I love that she loves Jesus too! And I appreciate that she cares about her, her husband and her kids emotional well-being as well. I feel like I’m listening to a friend whenever an episode plays. Thanks y’all!

Helps my distracted mind
Thanks to The Lazy Genius Podcast, my first thought when problem solving for my life is asking “What season am I in?” Using her principles helps my spinning mind to calm down and determine what really matters most today.

Like advice from a friend
Love this podcast! Helps me feel on top of things and thoughtful in a cozy and hand held presentation. Like to listen while I fold laundry, clean the house, or feel generally overwhelmed by kids or house things.

My go to podcast for big sister advice.
Listening to Kendra is like listening to a good friend or older sister who has your back. She offers practical advice (which I use every day!), but also reminds her listeners to be kind to themselves and offers such wonderful wisdom on how to be our best selves. I am a more organized, intentional, and self – loving person because of her influence. After listening to her for years, I trust her wisdom and recommendations wholeheartedly!

Little Pep Talks
The Lazy Genius Podcasts are like life pep talks. Always relatable with start small actions I can do right away. No program, no book required. Just big sister energy encouraging me to get up off the couch and do something or sit there and finish my book.
