Why don’t we have new ears editions for every episode? The show is on 4 nights a week and instead there are SO many replay/compilation-style episodes during the week. I love the show and like to start my morning with it, but only when it’s new and not a compilation, TDS, recap, etc.

My sanity suffers when you go on break. Could we increase the team so we never have to go a week without you? Pleeeeeaaase~?

I like the style of comedy and already enjoy satire so this one is great!

Oh my God, there’s not a week that goes by that I don’t laugh my butt off the podcast. It keeps me informed and at first I didn’t think I would like the rotating format now I find them all funny. Definitely my favorite go to daily podcast.

Could be better except they think all who listen are left coast, woke, California socialists. You shouldn’t disparage half the country. Trevor Noah has zero skill. Go woke, go broke

Take the Lina Khan FTC episode — whew. Well done. However…. The reason I gave up television was the Loud Hype. It’s way too much. Personally, I listen to podcasts when relaxing. Editing out the brash, loud explosive applause, the over-the-top ads, the yelling, would make this a true podcast, v. Snippet bucket offshoot of TDS. I love you guys. But the noise kills me. The crazy loud audience responses for things shown that we cannot see? Stinks. Tone it down.

I love the current show, but I had to unfollow the podcast because you keep putting Trevor Noah content in here. All the current people are a million times funnier than that guy. I’ve never once laughed at anything that guy has said. Saying the correct thing and being cute is not funny. You also have to actually be funny. Please stop!

I really like Jon Stewart’s episodes but the other hosts are almost never as good as him and I usually skip celebrity interviews and only listen to the news recap. This show is better on television then on a podcast

Jon Stewart has always been the GOAT, but this free speech episode is one of THE best. This man is a national treasure. Protect him at all costs!!!

and pointless celebrity guests blabbing about nothing but their latest project. id rather eat a bowl of aids infected wasps than listen to dave franco talk about his new terrible movie

First things first, I love the daily show and have since Craig Kilborn, and the current crop of rotating anchors produces a product as good as anything they have ever made. This being said, Josh Johnson’s current stint raises the bar even further. His jokes, his delivery, and his overall presence are top notch. He also brings a cool ease to the interview process that not many can achieve. Kudos to the daily show for finally giving him his shot at the chair. Josh Johnson, a tip of the cap, sir.

I’ve been an avid fan of TDS (daily show not Trump Derangment) for many many years and I’m so happy to see there’s now more Josh Johnson in the equation. I have loved seeing his journey and he always brings that subtle energy that the job demands. Just hoping that John sticks around too

I was wondering how Josh’s particular sense of humor was going to work for the Daily Show format. His punch lines had me belly laughing throughout the show. He showed himself to be fully capable to command the audience and the show format. Way to go, Josh! Keep it coming!

Great first hosting show for Josh Johnson!

Comedy Central is paying off Apple to be in the charts. Conan O’Brien is the only old talk show host to genuinely care about podcasts. This feels desperate.

Since I am older than Jon, I can’t stay up late enough to catch the show on TV. Thank god I have finally learned how to tape shows and play podcasts so I never have to miss one. Love listening while on long road trips! So grateful Jon took a cue from Rachel Maddow, both are top of my list for getting through these trying times! The whole crew is top notch and helps make life livable.

Boomers seem to think they'll die if they retire. Sadly, they'll probably end up having to fire him because there are no graceful exits anymore in public life. I was a fan, but it's time to stop... PLEASE just stop.

Thoroughly enjoyed the interview with Senator Chris Murphy. One of my favs. It was refreshing to hear Murphy’s brutal honesty about how the dem party has gotten too comfortable with the status quo, and was open to the idea that it’s not a messaging problem, but a doing problem. Dem’s can do more as a cohesive unit to bring about big (not incremental) change, but time and time again fail to meet the moment for whatever reason. Keep interviewing these guys, Jon, and holding their feet to the fire. This was the most honest look in the mirror I have seen from the party. I too was doing the praise hands when he was getting to the crux of the problems in the party. Well done!

So….you shouldn’t categorize women drinking and celebrating St. Pat’s as stupid sluts and men doing the same as “commanding respect for their ancestors”. Shame on you.

…then I’ll support it. This country has devolved so much in the past ten years but the MAGAts just cannot get enough winning. Still waiting for it to start, but they’re sure it will benefit them mightily. And if you believe that, then I have a flying car to sell you. It works just as well as a Tesla’s FSD mode. Give me a break.

Can‘t imgine life without this show right now.

Great to have an audio version of the show. Mix of political and cultural commentary and comedy. I wasn’t sure TDS would work without John or Trevor but it does!

I’m tired of hearing lies that are turned into the truth and they just tell the truth and the facts which is very refreshing and I pray we survive this presidency .

Im so glad to have news like this in my life so I’m not constantly depressed about the state of the world. It’s some of the best political comedy I’ve ever heard. Truly a genius piece of media.

Stop flooding all my other podcasts with ads for this garbage. I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO JOHN STEWART’S NONSENSE.

It would be delusional for me to expect that same uplifting feeling I had watching TDS during, let’s say, the GWB admin. A show at the top of its game at the time. I understand trying to stay relevant but the poor writing and trite sarcastic and smug form of comedy just isn’t working for me. Perhaps I’ve just grown out of it. But I DO know good writing and performance when I see it…and it’s sadly no longer at TDS.

I love this show so much… I am so glad that Jon Stuart returned, and I also especially love Ronny chang. I always love the guests. I love how the hosts are just a little mean spirited, but in a fun way. Constantly makes me laugh so hard I cry. 5 stars!!!
