I use the Bible App and listen to the passage for each day and then listen to Tara-Leigh’s summary of the passage!! Lots of bang for the buck!

So incredibly grateful for this app. Finally something that is doable and Tara is so so good at making the hard to understand easier to console. Ty so much!

I hope you are encouraged to start now! You don’t have to wait for a new year, a new week a new day-and when you start and if you get behind a day (or three) it is so easy to catch back up. I use the youversion bible app and podcast (even tho the YouTube link is in the youversion) everything you need is literally linked and easy to follow, no excuses!

This recap has really blessed me and helped make even the boring parts of scripture interesting and understandable. My 5th year with the Bible Recap and I still look forward to my morning quiet time with God and Tara-Leigh.

I grew up going to church but it wasn’t until later in life that I started studying the Bible. This podcast helps you understand historical context that you don’t always just know reading your Bible. I have learned and found joy in learning from this show. Jesus I is where the joy is!

I grew up in church, loving God, with a God fearing family. However, I could never understand scripture so I avoiding reading my Bible. I liked to talk through the Bible, but couldn’t sit down and read it for myself. This podcast has helped me to grow in understanding the Word and I have formed a LOVE for reading the Bible. It also helps with keeping you accountable for reading everyday!

Though I am using a different app this time for a read through the Bible, I come to TBR to hear a second summary. Appreciate how it is stated and puts reading in context with the whole of scripture.

Start from the beginning at any point in the year. I started late and I am so thankful I didn’t just tell myself to make it a goal for next year. The recap is vital to understanding what you are reading and to help connect you to what the intention of what God’s word is saying. I can not say enough good things about this.

Fun way to read scripture. Tara Leigh Cobble is all personality and very knowledgable. I love that she doesn’t take sides in controversial Bible interpretations. She shows all sides and provides resources. There’s a lot of wisdom in that. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic journey this has been. TBR has been eye-opening and just what my soul needed bless Tara and everyone who has made The Bible Recap happen. It has been life-changing for me.

I only wish I had found this way to read the Bi or years ago. It is the best part of my day.

I like this study and the video summaries. Tara-Leigh is extremely knowledgeable. The hand gestures drive me crazy. I’ve tried holding something in front but it doesn’t work very well. Sometimes I look away and try to concentrate on what she is saying, would rather see her face. It would be much better without all her hand movements. Surely it doesn’t have to be that many and a way to watch Tara-Leigh without the distraction of the constant movement of her hands. That’s why 3 stars.

I’m listening to build consistency. Learning a lot.

This is my second time going through the Bible with Tara Leigh Cobble. She does an amazing job breaking down information and explaining things that I never would have learned on my own. If you are wanting to dive deeper into the Word, I highly recommend this podcast!

I didn’t know that when I bought the book that there was a podcast to go along. I read and answer the book questions in the more then my lunch is listening to the podcast to help my day with my students stay positive. Thank you for the work you are doing to open my eyes to things I had never noticed before.

This resource is helping me to finally read the Bible in a year! The recaps are so helpful for context and taking away important points. I’ve been a believer since I was six years old. I’ve read through the bible multiple times, but it wasn’t until The Bible Recap that I gained a deeper understanding of God’s word. Tara Leigh is articulate and wise. She is careful with her words because she understands their weight. When necessary, she makes corrections and gives clarification. I appreciate her sincerity and humility. This is by far my favorite podcast.

This podcast has helped me stay consistent in God’s word. Anytime I don’t understand what the passage is about or what I should be gleaning from it, Tara Leigh does an excellent job summarizing it and pointing out how it fits in with the whole story of the bible. Encouraging for anyone anywhere on their faith journey!

With each episode being only 8 minutes I felt like 2 minutes is wasted with so much promotion. I’d much rather spend my time listening to discussion instead of the same promos every SINGLE episode.

The host is so, so great at helping some of the very rich text of the Bible come to life and be understood in a way that allows me to understand God’s plan and purpose. Every morning I get to read and listen to my Bible and TBR. I never thought I would enJOY and (so far excitedly) keep up. Never have a I been a “reader” but this habit of reading the Bible everyday gives me a yearning to read it more. I see how the daily bread truly is the life giving bread. I love seeing God more & more in the Bible books, I love the you tube in my Bible app & now I have the podcast. Thank you for making TBR interesting and the encouragement to keep going is great!
