The podcast Black People Love Paramore is exactly what you think it is. Each episode, pop-culture and media expert Sequoia Holmes brings on comedians and pop-culture critics (Justin Richmond, Sydnee Washington, Jewel Wicker) to investigate the seemingly random, underrepresented interests of different niches of Black people. It’s always so funny that I often forget that I’m listening in on what usually ends up being a mini-lectures. It’s funny but really insightful. This all started because Sequoia wanted to talk about her love for Paramore and why it surprised people to learn this. (PLOT TWIST: She does NOT like the new album.)
