They eventually get to a point
As someone with ADHD, I’m so frustrated with this show. I really am interested in the subject, and wish they’d get around to it now and then.

Validation, One “click” at a Time
I stumbled upon this podcast and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Simply listening to individuals whose mind works so similarly to my own, is truly validating and comforting. Each “new” thing I hear, is like a “click” happening in my brain. I love hearing all the different perspectives on things that I’ve struggled to put words to. It’s as if the last 35 yrs of complicated, over-processed thought patterns are clearing up, one “click” at a time. Love this! Thank you for shining light on our strange little world!

Episode 90 was my first listened-to episode and was super valuable because I’m struggling to figure out how I can climb the corporate ladder as a remote employee with ADHD. I also personally struggle with speaking in a structured manner because my thoughts just run too fast for my mouth. I’d love an episode about ADHD and tips on structured communication! And if there is already one somewhere… where?!

Episode with Angie Harrington so relatable
I love listening this show, and the episode with Skye interviewing Angie was so relatable to me as a mom of two kiddos, one school age with ADHD symptoms similar to mine. Going to parent teacher conferences wrings my heart because I wish I had the energy to do more to help him have a better experience than I did. Also, I love the analogy of green to yellow to red for emotional regulation, I’m so going to use it. Keep up the amazing work ladies and thank you for this podcast!

A Fantastic Mix of Research and Practical Tips
As someone who has family members with ADHD, this has been a great show to help me gain some perspective on how to better support my family members. And I’ve picked up some tips for myself along the way. :) I enjoy the way episodes are structured to share research in a digestible format and provide practical tips. I especially love hearing the stories of people with ADHD. As someone who works in tech, the conversation with Lisa Ballard was one of my favorites.

Love the mix of research and realness!
As a business owner with ADHD, I’ve found it hard to find resources that actually provide tactical advice that doesn’t feel impossible to use…. Until now. Skye is a natural interviewer and I love the mix of research-backed strategies with real life examples and compassion. This podcast is a goldmine for the ADHD girlie!

Excellent podcast
I used to do my own literature reviews on ADHD research.. aka have 30+ open tabs with journal articles opened on my phone for every one I would read. It’s amazing to have thorough, thoughtful reviews available as a podcast. Thank you!!

Soared to my favorite neurodivergent podcast
I like a few ADHD and ASD podcasts but none clicked with me the way The ADHD Skills Lab does. The research-based approach (thank you!!!) combined with a supportive, accepting, friendly tone always gives this (very) late diagnosed ADHDer with ASD traits new information and, just as important, renewed confidence and hope for the future. Quality podcasting.
