Manchester City were shocked at home against Brentford, losing 2-1 behind two goals from Ivan Toney. Toney did enough to earn Robbie Earle's Underappreciated Performer of the Week
Arsenal will be top of the table at  Christmas, as they ease past Wolves 2-0. Martin Odegaard scored both goals for the Gunners and they extend their lead atop the table to 5 points
Newcastle United faced off against Chelsea in perhaps the marquee match of the weekend, with the Magpies defeating the Blues 1-0 behind a Joe Willock goal. Newcastle now sit 3rd in the league standings, and it was Kieran Trippier who earns Robbie Mustoe's Underappreciated Performer of the Week
