We moved our older son into our room when the little one was waking up and needed to retrain and cry it out a bit. He was happy for the snuggles and was old enough to understand it was just while the little one was adjusting.

Love the pod! Love the ladies! Love the SVU! But after listening religiously for a couple of years now, David Krumholtz brought me in to write my first ever podcast review. He was hilarious!! He is such a talented actor and now I can appreciate what a joy he is as a human being. Thank you for all you do!

Legit best episode and guest in a while!!! Love this show with my whole millennial heart.

I like this podcast a lot. Been a listener from Day 1 but the Liza’s interruptions have gotten worse. I really noticed it in the most recent episode. During the interview with the guest David Krumholtz - Kara was asking a question, he began to answer and Liza jumped in with a different question. This happened at least 2 times. I get when it’s the two of them, but to do that with a guest?

The stories are great and they do good research. But stop spending 30 mins talking about your political views and yelling. Don’t care if you’re left or right but it doesn’t have a place in a podcast about SVU. It’s annoying and incessant.

Love SVU. Love the episode recaps. Even went to a live show! But Liza has ruined the podcast. The constant interrupting. The condescension toward Kara. To be so “aware” of everything going on in the world but to not let your co-host get a word in is actually crazy.

I love it anytime Liza tries out new phrases for potential merch! Always makes me laugh. This podcast is one of my favorites!!

You two make my day! It might be weird, but when I feel anxious, I turn on your voices and I am immediately soothed. You’re both so funny but also so respectful. I grew up watching this show and reliving the most iconic episodes through your charismatic, unique, (nerve) and talented eyes is a real treat :) it is refreshing to hear two people who see the world in a lot of the same ways I do. You make it intimate in a way that makes all your listeners feel like we are in the zoom call laughing with our friends. Thank you for creating such special content. 💕

Love the long intros. I would say I’ve seen most of SVU up to say, season 5, and I still love your recaps of ones that I haven’t seen. Never change

Show is fun. Liza and Kara are real friends, and the dynamic works. For those who don’t like the beginning - skip it! For those who think that their opinion of a show that they choose to consume is superior to others - go listen to something else. No one is making you listen. Such controllable things as a listener can be done if you don’t like something, rather than complaining. It’s just boring 🥱

Love the show. I haven’t caught up with SVU in a while and was unaware there was a character named Rollins. For some reason I assumed it was Henry Rollins and that was very confusing until I googled and felt like an idiot. Now I kind of wish it was Henry Rollins.

Why are you on this network.

It's beautiful and unapologetic. I love the friendship I love the opinions even if they are always my own. I love how they own it. It's their podcast and they will not shut up for anyone. It's an inspiration. The talent of being able to describe the show and I can see it playing in my head. It's so good. Y'all are amazing and I love this show so much.

I have loved these hosts from day 1. However, Liza’s interruptions and rambling… it’s out control… big fan of both individually, but Kara never gets a word in anymore. I know Liza’s m taking off on social but she’s not the only host.

Ok everyone upset about truly anything that happens on this podcast: IT’S NOT FOR YOU THEN. No one is forcing you to listen. Why are you complaining about skipping 30 minutes in? You know you can just slide the little thing over? It takes …. less than 1 second? I’m so confused how you’re all so pressed about skipping ahead. Also, some of us appreciate and need a 2+ hour podcast. Don’t ruin this for me.

I say all of this with the hope that it’s received as constructive feedback. I am a listener from Day One, and I have to say I agree with many recent reviews, but to be honest, I’ve felt this way a long time. The points of Kara speaking in her vocal fry voice when speaking about LA and constantly name-dropping is very pick-me and hard to listen to. But I also find myself wondering how she doesn’t scream at Liza… other listeners are correct… the interruptions are absolutely unhinged. Let. Kara. Speak. And stop being so condescending toward her the few times she DOES get to say something. Kara consistently speaks in support of Liza as a person, friend, and professional… that is NEVER reciprocated. It’s a very lopsided relationship, and it’s been making me cringe for years. Now it’s only getting worse and more apparent instead of the other way around, which is a lack of self-awareness and humility I can’t really fathom or respect. When Liza started chomping on food into the microphone, I almost lost it all together. The disrespect to the listeners is tantamount now. (I also went to a live show at City Winery by myself in NYC- I was so excited, and they said the audience wasn’t being fun enough, so they kept putting us down the whole time and said we are why they can’t do a good show for us. Like… what? Again, pure disrespect.) So all of the above is why I say it’s my Love/Hate podcast listen. I have such fun seeing what episode they’re going to cover next and watching it in advance like I have some really fun homework. So clearly, I love the SVU content, I actually love Bravo and Drag Race, so I enjoy hearing their banter about that (I know I’m in the minority, but I’m into it), I love the way they summarize the eps, and I love learning about the real-life cases. It’s just a lot of other noise surrounding all of this goodness that puts a damper on it for me. I really hope this is read as feedback and they make some improvements on what many, many listeners (now including me) are talking about in our reviews and comments. Again, some respect towards us would go a really long way, and listening to us is about as respectful as one can get.

Their takes on politics is painfully out of touch. Literally caricatures of what the right thinks all liberals are. Takes away from the episode, thank god for the 30 second skip option. The actual content is pretty entertaining, but since they’re so hateful toward facts and opinions that don’t match their tiny bubble world, one star.

I wish more time was spent talking about the episode. I don’t care about Real Housewives. I ironically don’t care about the guests either. They always say the same stuff about working on the show and non-industry people really don’t care about the actors that played in one episode of a show they like. I liked this podcast and I’ve been listening since the beginning but it feels scattered now. I want the episode recap and the true crime it was based on, that’s it. I appreciate their personalities but it’s becoming too much about other stuff for me to stay invested.

I love both of you guys but the 30-40 min pre-show convo about shows and movies that I’ve never watched before is not interesting to me. And based on other reviews here, other people agree. My suggestion is to time stamp the start of the episode recap in the description so some of us can skip there!

I’m a huge fan of this podcast and have a lot of respect for both women! Have gone to live shows and seen Liza live multiple times. PLS LISTEN: Liza’s interruption of Kara is hard to listen to every episode. Talking about Luigi every episode is insane. I am extremely liberal but he did kill someone and is clearly guilty. Saying he’s being framed is coming across as completely delusional and is scary to listen to. It’s giving RFK conspiracy theory insane. PLEASE STOP EATING DURING THE PODCAST. No one wants to hear someone chewing while speaking over a microphone. It comes across as rude and uncaring of listeners. This could be a really successful podcast and Liza is ruining it with her attitude and lack of self awareness. Let Kara speak, acknowledge what she’s saying, stop interrupting her. Not meaning to be rude I want the pod to be successful !!

As I was listening to the latest episode I ordered Tanoreen cook book!

Echoing what all the other comments say, but Kara is never able to get a word in and when she does Liza turns it back to her. The “intros” would be slightly bearable if Kara ever got to talk about her life/husband/kids. I used to not mind the intros but nearly 40 minutes is insane. Liza is so negative and hardly has any positive insight on anything.

30 min of vocal fry banter and then the entire episode recap + true crime + interruptions is also 30 min? You know 1/2 of us skip the ego driven banter. The talks about the LA fires were uniquely gross. We come for SVU but it’s less than 1/3 of the subject matter. There’s nothing left to listen to here.

I’m all for some light banter before going into the SVU episode, but 33 mins? 33 mins of Liza just going on and on about Taylor Swift? Please move on. It’s pathetic to hear an adult woman fan girling about a pop star.

I have been a listener since day 1 and the banter between you two in the intro used to be a fun convo between two friends, but Liza has managed to make it all about herself and her “fab” lifestyle. Maybe let Kara get in a word or two without being interrupted and making her story about you?

Love you ladies so much! I especially love the banter in the beginning. You two are so funny and I laugh out loud all the time. You’re both so relatable. It feels like I’m out having coffee or drinks with friends. I absolutely adore the recaps of the episodes. You guys are my ear friends. ❤️

Used to love the podcast. I’ve been skipping past the first 30 minutes for quite some time now. The political talk has gotten too much. However now the political talk is bleeding into the meat of the episode. At this point, the rhetoric is abusive. I just can’t listen anymore.

i love both of the ladies. this podcast is so funny and entertaining HOWEVER liza is constantly interrupting kara and it is so annoying. i actually want to hear about kara’s life and perspective so it’s annoying when she is constantly getting interrupted.

I love this podcast ! I was a die -hard original recipe girl & also loved SVU (obviously)! Had fallen off the SVU map with adulthood, parenthood, etc! This podcast has brought me back in!!!! I don't have to watch the eps they discuss but it's always a bonus when there is one I can remember! Often their show triggers me to watch an episode and this amazing podcast has provided me w so much appreciation for the show, cast and guest stars. NOW let's talk about the amazing hosts! I met Liza in Houston after her stand up show (hammered and forgot what I wanted to say) but not too hammered to see How hilarious her stand up was and so honored I met this amazing woman in person! Kara is the mom we all want to be in play group with! These ladies don't hold back on their opinions and I love that so much! I don't watch real Housewives or drag race and I want them talk About it all MORE!!!!!!!! Keep taking ladies ! You are beautiful !!!! I could listen to these two hilarious women talk about paint colors and be entertained!!!!

I’ve loved this podcast for a while now and tell everyone how fantastic it is. If you love SVU and appreciate the other shows, you’ll enjoy this podcast. Lisa and Kara are so funny and I appreciate their humor and take on the episodes and the real cases. I got to see them in St.Louis during a live show and can’t wait for them to come back! Kudos ladies 🫶

The conversations these ladies have could be an extension of my friend group during these “unprecedented” times. They make me laugh every episode and their passionate SVU retellings deserve awards and flowers. 12/10

This pod is special & I save for a long walk or drive so I don’t miss a moment. I love their banter and usually laugh out loud involuntarily at several points. I sometimes go back and forth been the ep & pod so I can better absorb all the hilarious commentary and perfectly appropriate tangents. I look forward to the pod drop all week. ps I’ve also seen them live and 100% recommend.
