Love the opportunity to revisit old SVU episodes. I wish some of my other favorite shows had this! PS. I finally started Heated Rivalry AND Drag Race because of these queens. 5 stars.

I have loved this podcast for a while and always enjoy listening to it. It’s one of my all-time favorites. Kara and Liza are knowledgeable and really funny and make it look effortless. If you enjoy their dynamic and personalities as much as I do, look for their unrelated Patreon; it’s a real treat! Update: I’m still obsessed with these queens, and my one and only note is to please not continue to stay silent on Palestine in 2026.

Between Andrew Schulz getting a Liza rant and “I would just rather hate on, like, men… that’s important to me”. Gold. Amazing. 10/10.

Absolutely love this show and have listened from the beginning, but I’ve noticed a significant increase in ads over the last few months that has honestly become distracting. Other than that, I have only positive things to say!

Been listening for years but had to leave a review after hearing about Liza rip Andrew Schulz a new booty hole. Liza is unhinged in a way that speaks to my soul. And the SVU part is the cherry on top.

My new favorite podcast. Literally can’t get enough, love these two. Sister Peg would be proud.

We love Liza Kara sounds like she's growling through the majority of her sentences. Lots of stuttering and repetition of words...

Liza! I just can’t with your obsessions. I never skip but I couldn’t listen to all the heated rivalry chat AGAIN!

I’ve listened to this podcast since day one, and I genuinely look forward to it each week (yes, including the 40 minutes of banter beforehand). That said, there are a few things that are becoming harder and harder to push past. As other reviewers have said, the main one… is Liza. She’s never not interrupting Kara, shouting “WAIT!” and going off on a tangent. She never lets Kara get a word in edgewise about her own life. She never gives Kara her flowers or lets her shine. She doesn’t even LISTEN to Kara. It’s like she’s literally just waiting to speak next — and usually she can’t wait, so she just barrels ahead. And then there are her long-term obsessions — Taylor Swift, Heated Rivalry, her disgusting defense of actual murderer Luigi M. She just talks and talks and TALKS. Like, girl, are you in Ritalin with the rest of us yet? You can have some of mine. You need it more than I do. The lack of self-awareness has, at this point become disrespectful to both Kara and your listeners.

I’ve never seen an episode of SVU but I love this podcast. The two host are hilarious as they recap the often horrible crimes that have taken place in the show. Very entertaining to listen to, and they talk about the true crime it’s based on which is interesting, and they also interview someone from episode. Highly recommend whether you’re an SVU fan or not. Update: I have to knock off a star because Liza constantly interrupting and talking over Kara. It’s getting worse and worse and it’s starting to get harder to listen to.

But if you like vocal fry and hate Trump (presumptively) this is for you!

Long time listener, first time reviewer. I’ve listened to every episode twice- 10/10 banter and 10/10 recapping. Will continue to work this podcast into every conversation until everyone I know listens <3

First of all, I love the podcast! If I have to run errands, I’ll put episodes in my queue and I’ll binge them. Second of all, if you encourage listeners to follow you on insta, why ignore DMS. There are a few of things that slightly annoy me. 1. They are pretty good with recalling if an actor was in another SVU episode but sometimes they won’t acknowledge it, and I’m like you’re already looking at the IMDB so why wouldn’t you see what other SVU episodes the actor has been in. 2. Sometimes they interpret a line completely wrong and then explain why it doesn’t make sense or is strange. And I’m like that’s because you all heard the lines wrong. Specifically in The Undiscovered Country when Barba is talking about prosecuting the case and how it’s a tough one he says something like I’ll do this and try to get some sleep in the next decade or so. When Liza recapped it she said he is going to go sleep for the next decade and she’s like why is he going to sleep for a decade? And then they talked about it for a couple minutes. I thought Kara was going to be like he means this case is going to keep him up at night but she didn’t say that. Then in Deliquent, Rita Wilson’s character was defending her using corporal punishment and one of the detectives was like studies show that adults who were hit as kids aren’t as smart or something like that. And she goes well I’m high up at an ad agency and I turned out fine. Kara and Liza preceded to have a whole convo about how the parent becomes less smart if they hit their kids which just doesn’t make any sense. Lastly sometimes they are just loud and wrong about things. The main things are that where the people sit in the court is the gallery not the galley. And methodone treatment is for opioids and not meth…

Liza interrupts and just talks louder and louder and LOUDER over Kara so frequently that it makes this impossible to listen to lately. I want to hear what Kara is saying! The latest episode she does it literally every sentence so many times in a row that it wouldn’t be believable if it were scripted. It is so frustrating to hear—both because Kara is usually the one with information that I want to know, and because it’s just rude and really grating to hear over and over and over. You can share your thoughts, Liza, but dear god wait your turn.

Please keep beating those 3 dead ☠️ 🐴 🐎. While injustices still exist, cries for justice must persist. “No one listens this long” … so they don’t know what was unearthed about code word Epstein Files in 12/9/25 episode Misleader. Also, the true crime *was* messed up.

Liza & Kara have such great chemistry, absolutely hilarious and are gifted storytellers. @DickWolf, hire these two!!

I really like listening to these episodes, but would love if you could include a time stamp in the show notes on where the SVU recap actually starts. I’m sure some people like the random chatter in the beginning but I’m not really interested in your bagel order from two days ago. Trying to fast forward and guess where the episode actually starts is tedious and annoying. I would listen to it more if I could just jump straight to the time it actually starts.

When I heard Liza on Cross’s podcast my blood was boiling by how rude he was and just chopped it up to my parasocial Liza Treyger crush but to be validated is legit! Also, love the pod! First 40 mins are my fav 🥰

I was going to give the pod three stars but then I read how many conservatives were angry about politics of the hosts, so I bumped it up a star because good job ladies. That said, I am on a lot of reviewers side about Liza’s continual interruptions of Kara. It’s a lot. It’s also frustrating when Kara has to stop and explain a basic concept to Liza - who could have easily googled the thing she’s asking about when prepping. I also have noticed Kara pretending that she either doesn’t know or that she is unsure about the same thing as Liza, presumably to help Liza save face. That’s nice, but transparent. I like a lot about the pod and love the care you take to point out that the real life NYPD and the fictional one are very, very different… but Liza is a conversational steamroller. I do not have to love every podcaster I listen to or think that we’d be friends in real life, but I’d like to think that the people I listen to have some level of awareness about how they come across to the audience. Also, not for nothing, but the David Cross prank was funny.

Father figure is about Scott Borchetta not Olivia Rodrigo. I try to be patient about how often Liza is just loudly wrong about things but when it’s something she self described herself as obsessed with (Taylor Swift) it’s a little annoying.

Pretty open minded and patient but the constant negativity toward their opposition is just exhausting and insulting. When the host do what they're supposed to do which is review an episode and crime it's based on it's solid, however the hosts just have become too much to deal with. I have very very very different views and opinions and political beliefs than the hosts and have been able to swallow and listen and accept the differences but it's just overwhelming so I'm no longer a fan or follower. The show is less about SVU episodes than it is about the hosts gabbing on and on and on and being incredibly insulting towards opposition.

I have been a day 1 listener but have definitely fallen off. I came back recently and listened to a few episodes and Kara used to annoy me a bit but honestly I feel like Kara has really found her rhythm and Liza has gotten very standoffish. It feels like she doesn’t respect Kara in the same way Kara respects her. Kara really goes out of her way to be vocally supportive of all the recent successes of Liza but Liza seems so uninterested when Kara is speaking about things like her time at Family Summer Camp or something she’s watching like the Netflix doc Unknown Number. Kara let Liza plug every show date and place and left no room for Kara to plug her show which Liza is also in. I don’t think Liza is intentionally doing this but she has got to be more aware, I might be wrong but as a listener sometimes I can feel Kara become insecure about something she’s excited about b/c of the way Liza responds or simply just ignores her and lets dead air just linger. I feel like Liza isn’t as invested in the podcast and it may be time for Kara to find another cohost.

We moved our older son into our room when the little one was waking up and needed to retrain and cry it out a bit. He was happy for the snuggles and was old enough to understand it was just while the little one was adjusting.

Love the pod! Love the ladies! Love the SVU! But after listening religiously for a couple of years now, David Krumholtz brought me in to write my first ever podcast review. He was hilarious!! He is such a talented actor and now I can appreciate what a joy he is as a human being. Thank you for all you do!

I like this podcast a lot. Been a listener from Day 1 but the Liza’s interruptions have gotten worse. I really noticed it in the most recent episode. During the interview with the guest David Krumholtz - Kara was asking a question, he began to answer and Liza jumped in with a different question. This happened at least 2 times. I get when it’s the two of them, but to do that with a guest?

The stories are great and they do good research. But stop spending 30 mins talking about your political views and yelling. Don’t care if you’re left or right but it doesn’t have a place in a podcast about SVU. It’s annoying and incessant.

Love SVU. Love the episode recaps. Even went to a live show! But Liza has ruined the podcast. The constant interrupting. The condescension toward Kara. To be so “aware” of everything going on in the world but to not let your co-host get a word in is actually crazy.

I love it anytime Liza tries out new phrases for potential merch! Always makes me laugh. This podcast is one of my favorites!!

You two make my day! It might be weird, but when I feel anxious, I turn on your voices and I am immediately soothed. You’re both so funny but also so respectful. I grew up watching this show and reliving the most iconic episodes through your charismatic, unique, (nerve) and talented eyes is a real treat :) it is refreshing to hear two people who see the world in a lot of the same ways I do. You make it intimate in a way that makes all your listeners feel like we are in the zoom call laughing with our friends. Thank you for creating such special content. 💕

Show is fun. Liza and Kara are real friends, and the dynamic works. For those who don’t like the beginning - skip it! For those who think that their opinion of a show that they choose to consume is superior to others - go listen to something else. No one is making you listen. Such controllable things as a listener can be done if you don’t like something, rather than complaining. It’s just boring 🥱

Love the show. I haven’t caught up with SVU in a while and was unaware there was a character named Rollins. For some reason I assumed it was Henry Rollins and that was very confusing until I googled and felt like an idiot. Now I kind of wish it was Henry Rollins.

It's beautiful and unapologetic. I love the friendship I love the opinions even if they are always my own. I love how they own it. It's their podcast and they will not shut up for anyone. It's an inspiration. The talent of being able to describe the show and I can see it playing in my head. It's so good. Y'all are amazing and I love this show so much.

I have loved these hosts from day 1. However, Liza’s interruptions and rambling… it’s out control… big fan of both individually, but Kara never gets a word in anymore. I know Liza’s m taking off on social but she’s not the only host.
