Always love hearing what Tedx speakers are being shared here - their big idea and how Ted Talks daily harnesses their message in to something new with an interview or audience engagement of some sort at the end. This show is the cliffnotes of humanity’s present day concerns, compromises and collaborations for a brighter future. Well done

I just feel like TED is a hustle. Here’s the thing or idea or person I’m selling. The shine is gone. The originality is gone. Going to unsub… cluttering my feed.

I usually find these TED talks interesting, though they seem to include silly nonsense about 10% of the time. The episode I just heard, “the art of reading minds” with Oz Pearlman was one those episodes. It offered only a tiny morsel of useful insight (a trick to help remember names), but otherwise it was a sideshow act.

The last show “Can Ai Make Us More Human” sounded more like of a paid advertisement and propaganda than a Ted show. There’s no new ideas or journalism here. Just reinforcing the concept that Ai is great. Very disappointed.

Every single time i listen to a Ted Talk irs nothing like the title sats and EVERY SINGLE TIME im disappointed. Now im finally deleting this podcast

Like many, I subscribed to this podcast so that I would have a new TED Talk in my podcast feed each day. I’ve often found that the Talks I’d never have selected myself spark the freshest ideas, so I was excited about a feed that would make it easy to integrate a variety of Talks. Lately though, there have been more and more other types of episodes dropped into the feed - interviews, book clubs, other types of presentations. Though they’re all TED type content, I subscribed to TED Talks Daily so that I would get a TED Talk, daily. One more thing, the ads are plentiful and incongruous with the auditory tone of the rest of the podcast. It’s not uncommon for 3 minutes of a 10 minute episode to be ads. I became a paid subscriber, hoping that it would remove the ads (like with most podcasts) but that isn’t the case for this feed.

Another condescending and biased narrative against “the right”. I tried to listen to the episode … it’s blatant… now I’ll unfollow the podcast entirely. One star for merely existing.

Love this show!

Just picked a 12 min long episode. Got 3 mins in and still just hearing ads. I’m fine with one or two, I get it. You have to make money, but Jesus. Moving on to a different pod.

This is not hyperbole. It takes 3 minutes before this “podcast” gets to its non-advertisement content, and 4 minutes before we even get an intro into today’s guest. Unlistenable.

I’ve tried to make listening to each day’s podcast a habit regardless of the topic. I’m trying to broaden my knowledge and/or at least learn a bit about new topics. So far I’m enjoying it a lot and highly recommend listening. Less ads would be great though.

Although this is a great conversation, I swear I’ve heard this a dozen times. I wish the podcast would not have seen us on repeating the same information and they could coordinate better.

Interesting people, interesting topics, but the ads are just too much. The one I listen to was about 1/3 ads, ridiculous.

Holy cow… you guys have this dude an hour long show?! Is it not obvious how bias he is when he speaks about geo-political issues? This guy got 60 mins when some brilliant humans have 10-15min Ted talks on here. At least provide someone who will hold the guy accountable in a balanced interview. I am all for different opinions and thoughtful discourse, but this guy is so blatantly bias it is mind-blowing he is able to believe he is giving legitimate reporting on these issues 🤣🤡🎙️

I’m writing a review on the most recent episode of telling a story in under a minute. I thought the episode would be insightful, but it was nowhere close. I usually like this podcast channel but this episode was laughable. The speaker had NOTHING to add. It was awful.

It’s a nice podcast but it’s just ads that i don’t like.

This podcast focuses on many interesting concepts and this podcast have opened my eyes to all of these concepts.

Hi. I like the show because of the wide variety of topics. Please, when you have a guest that has good content to share but cannot help saying “um” every sentence, could you please edit all the “um”s out! Please!

Then why charge? Are the speakers even getting paid for their content?

Wow, it’s Trudeau a narcissist! I think I finally listen to someone who loves himself more than Trump loves himself. And the man interviewing him was so infatuated with him that it was totally obnoxious.

I used to love listening to these until they started putting a political agenda in it. I’m so sick of people force feeding me their opinion. Let me do my own research without you handing me something that favors your opinion.

I’m a long life learner. I seek learning and insightful aha moments in everything I do. This is one stop that gets me there quickly. Each episode hidden behind hours and hours of practice and preparation. Highly recommended.

Host is underwhelming, content isn’t that interesting and you can get the subscribe info for free online. What is the point of paying?

Posting to the former Twitter during a period of antisemitic support by its owner isn’t a good look. I loved Ted Talks, but have to say no from here on out.

Like the show, but something is broken with the feed- every episode for the past couple months has the same segment with a guy talking about kids being discouraged in school. Really annoying. Please fix this or I’m going to take Ted talks out of my automatically queued list of shows.

Piling on here but feel the need to…sad to see what this podcast has turned into. The content will hopefully return once the pendulum does. Until then, stay far away from this nonsense

Seem to remember people saying Ted was all about having the difficult conversations that have to happen… I guess they were wrong. Y’all should try again. What a joke! Just another one sided bias machine

This platform has strayed a long way from the path of open minded conversations.

We all should be open to hearing ideas we disagree with. Ted used to be a place for the intellectually curious. The response for things we disagree with should be well reasoned responses. Hearing ideas we disagree with is not a physical threat. That is sad. I used to love Ted’s diversity of thought.

Please slow down and enunciate! You are so fast and I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about!

I love listening to experts in their chosen fields talk about their passions, or people with interesting perspectives who share the other side of their experiences. I think it’s telling how the majority of poor reviews claim a bias that the reviewer simply doesn’t agree with… not the content itself lacking truth or thoughtfulness, but that their feelings got hurt. Imagine being so arrogant and ignorant that, when faced with an insightful, thoughtful, well-delivered message about things like climate change or actions from the leading minds of research and intervention, you double-down on dumb. Their brains and thought processes are impenetrable and at the first whiff of disagreement, they cast it away as liberal, leftist “echo chambers” for fear there may be some substance behind a well constructed presentation. I don’t agree with all Ted Talks, but I see value in expanding my mind in areas I’ll never experience or fully understand, and who better to share it than the bright minds behind such fields? Then there are the snowflakes who disagree, using their own virtue signaling with their dismissive claims of “leftist”, “liberal”, and “social justice warriors”. It seems the intolerant right is so woke.

Every podcast I listened to has some propaganda. The last podcast I listen to blamed all global warming on capitalism. This person must have never visited a socialist or communist country. Not worth the time investment, unless you need some brain washing.

Came across the TED Talks Daily podcast and it’s so good! Loved the episode with Alexandra Horowitz about Why All Dogs are Good Dogs! So many great takeaways! Can’t wait to listen to more episodes! Thank you!

You find out this is a progressive-liberal echo chamber, you will never understand it for what it is.

This podcast used to be so interesting to listen to. Now it’s become another echo chamber for social justice. If I wanted more of that I’d go watch a streaming service or a news channel.

Ted used to be great but all too often is just an extension of the major news media. Don’t waste your time. There are many other better podcasts.

Ted Talks used to be filled with interesting content to LEARN about our universe. It has slowly but surely become about being social injustice warriors with little else. I used to be an avid listener and loved the new to me information. Now I can’t find anything with science or substance.
