310. MONTHLY MEDICINE: March is Take Heart
March wants us to remember that things are not always as they seem. It is so important in these moments to remember that nothing is permanent; nothing is forever. Our theme for the month ahead is Take Heart. This month, it will be so important to take heart, to stay closely tethered and connected to that deep, wise part of us. It will be so important to retreat, take space for ourselves, get regular reminders of the truths that we need reflected back to us. It will be so important to reach and make space for friends, belly laughs, communal dinners, peaceful moments. This particular month is a very strong cycle of deep night, and in that night, we are going to be called to be persistent about regularly lighting the candles, torches, hearth fires, and lanterns that warm and help us to see more clearly. What makes you feel comforted and soothed? What helps you to be peaceful? What helps you to remember truth when things feel full of illusion and permanence in ways we don’t prefer?  Card for the month ahead: Page of CupsFeel/vibe of the month ahead: Five of WandsHow can we best work with the energy of the month?: Three of SwordsWhat can we devote our attention to this month?: The SunAligned action to take, if any: Three of CupsMessage from Guides: Tethered One & Queen of CupsYour Anchor and Support for March: Five of PentaclesTranscript can be found on Spotify!LINKS:I’m teaching a workshop on Line Two of the Major Arcana for The Soul Tarot Membership on Wednesday, March 4th from 3-5pm PT! Come join us!Latest on No Bad Cards: A Spread for March + Taking Heart in Savage SeasonsMy book and Tarot deck will be released on May 19th, 2026!! Pre-order and learn more about them here! Have questions about the book or Tarot deck? 308. MONTHLY MEDICINE: From Knot to Straight Rope
February is a beautiful, transformative portal, one that has the capacity to truly change and alter aspects of our lives that have been stuck and unyielding for so long. The theme for our month ahead is From Knot to Straight Rope. In February, we will likely be confronted with some of our deep "knots," ones that have felt perpetually twisted, confused, and tricky. We actually have the potential to unknot them this month, and smooth them into something new. Once that has shifted, what could be possible for us? The options are endless. Between the cards for our month ahead, the energy of the upcoming Eclipses, and the full might of this 1/10/19 year going into full effect, February is gearing up to be a truly profound experience of deep change for us, personally and collectively. Card for the month ahead: Eight of SwordsFeel/vibe of the month ahead: Ace of PentaclesHow can we best work with the energy of the month ahead?: Ace of Wands, RxWhat are we being invited to pay attention to?: Three of WandsTranscript can be found on Spotify!LINKS:The Soul Tarot Training opens for enrollment on Tuesday, February 10th! 307. MONTHLY MEDICINE: January is Brand New Day
2026 is finally here! We made it 🙌 Our theme for January of 2026 is Brand New Day. That's an incredibly accurate way to frame this cycle. With the dawning of this new year, it is truly a paradigm shift, and a pivot into a whole host of newfound energies and invitations. This is largely true of all new year thresholds, but it is especially true in 2026. We're working with some powerhouse energies this month, all to support our shift into this new paradigm. What cannot come with us into 2026? January will be the time to really evaluate that, and to trust the process as new doors open, and old ones close. Transcript can be found on Spotify!LINKS:The Threshold is here! Dive in and sign up now for my beloved, best-selling intuitively channeled download for 2026 and your year ahead! Mark your calendar: The Soul Tarot Membership opens on January 12th! Preorder (or learn more about) my upcoming book and Tarot deck here!Want Part Two of the Monthly Medicine? 306. Your Year Ahead with Jeff Hinshaw!
Want a full deep dive on 2026? Check out Lindsay's offering, The Threshold, a channeled download for 2026 and your year ahead! In this Year Ahead episode, Lindsay Mack and Jeff Hinshaw explore 2026 as a powerful turning point after several liminal years. They reflect on 2025 as deeply Piscean, shaped by Neptune’s long journey through Pisces since 2011 and marked by the year of the Hermit and themes of grief, waiting, and dissolution. In contrast, 2026 emerges as a universal 1 year, aligned with the Magician, Wheel of Fortune, and Sun in the Tarot, signaling initiation, clarity, momentum, and a return to spiritual authority.Astrologically, the conversation centers on a major generational shift as both Neptune and Saturn leave Pisces and enter Aries, ushering in a fire-driven era focused on action, identity, and leadership. A pivotal week in February sets the tone, with Saturn entering Aries, an Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse aligned with the Chinese New Year, Year of the Fire Horse, and the rare Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries. Lindsay and Jeff frame this as the birth of a new cycle around imaginative leadership and embodied spiritual presence. Jupiter’s move into Leo later in the year further amplifies themes of creativity, joy, and heart-led visibility.Through looking at Tarot themes, the hosts contrast 2025’s archetypes of patience and preparation (the Hermit and Knight of Pentacles) with 2026’s initiators: the Knight of Wands, Magician, Wheel, and Sun. Drawing on personal reflections from a previous Magician/Sun year in 2017, they explore how these cycles often launch projects and identities that shape an entire nine-year arc. The episode weaves in the importance of working with grief—rather than bypassing it—by transforming it into tools, talismans, and creative practices.Ultimately, this episode positions 2026 as a year of reclaiming agency and consciously redefining relationships to spirit, community, and collaboration. With the reminder to “allow your mind to be the wand,” listeners are invited to stay discerning, clear unhelpful patterns, and choose collaborations that honor mutual sovereignty and growth. Rather than waiting for permission, 2026 is offered as a true “choose your own adventure” year, one that asks: what is your tool, what is your name, and who are you ready to become?
