Amazing Show!
(((HAVANA))) I've been listening to Ryan Sprague's "Somewhere in the Skies" on Apple Podcasts since 2020 and it remains a must-listen for anyone into aliens and the paranormal. Ryan's deep research, clear storytelling, and genuinely engaging hosting make complex or fringe topics accessible and entertaining—each episode blends compelling interviews, thoughtful analysis, and just the right amount of curiosity. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer, his show consistently delivers well-produced, thought-provoking content that keeps me coming back!

AWARD WINNING FOR A REASON
Full DISCLOSURE I love this podcast and I’m not the only one. Warning: this review is long overdue and I test the bounds of Apple’s character limits. Whether I’m commuting 2 hours to/from work or winding down for the night… there is no voice/vibe I’d rather have in my ears. This is the best podcast production in the game. Ryan Sprague is 100% my favorite (and best traveled) curious mind of our generation. The comic book look of his podcast cover art is earned through his origin story and life adventures. An average kid who wanted to grow up and be a professional baseball player has a lake-side unexplained sighting with his father one night that supercharges him to go on to become an international world class paranormal investigator, esteemed author, and award-winning podcast creator. He teams up with the most over qualified YouTube chat moderator in the universe to produce this amazing modern work of art! Suzanne Landers is a former lawyer who brings her experience and southern accent/charm to the team. Not only does she get boots on the ground at the coolest international conferences and deliver the most in depth reviews/summaries on the key note speakers money can’t buy… but she also offers her legal point of view to the chaotic world of modern UFOlogy (or is it UAPalentology now? Who knows). If my life depended on someone else dictating a multiple day conference, I’d choose the Speedy Suzanne Short Hand every time. Episodes have a wide range of topics and feels. Typically they have the same intro though and I get fired up everytime I hear the theme music. Ryan is a wonderful narrator and his background in the theatrical arts is evidenced by his tone of voice in any given episode. Whether giving an account of a documented UFO event, interviewing a notable figure in the modern UFO arena, or diving into a paranormal topic I didn’t know I was interested in - his voice always matches the mood. I was first introduced to his work when I stumbled on one of his YouTube videos where he interviews a Hawaiian Native about paranormal stories and oral histories. He was on vacation and chose to seek out a knowledgeable local and captured some really really cool stuff… WHO DOES THAT? Needless to say I have been a big fan ever since. Catch this dynamic duo most Sundays for the livestream on YouTube to get the latest updates from the UFO world (even drones 😉) and see actual videos of UAP. I can’t always make the livestream, but luckily we live in the age where I can click on the live tab on Ryan’s page to get the goods anytime after it airs. There is something super cool about being able to put faces to the voices. I’ve truly come to feel like I know each of you and I love you both. Sincerely thank you Ryan and Suzanne for all the hard work you do.

Keep to the subject
Ryan inserts his personal political views by making snide political remarks in every show. Keep to providing the latest UFO news. There are better UFO podcast.

We have a government that lies to us about so much.
We cannot trust the government. We don't even get to know what the whistle blowers are disclosing. It's all just a show and everyone is part of the deception. It's just the same old circus show of lies.

Good podcast
This is a great show. Sometimes you have to listen to something that’s more positively driven when the news every day can be depressing. Ryan is clearly passionate about extra terrestrial life and he puts a lot of effort into the show. Keep up the good work Ryan!

Best UFO pod
Ryan is intelligent, informed, passionate, compassionate, and cares about the content he’s putting out. Also here to say he is looking *good* in the new photos. This pod is actually how I wind down.

Great and informative episode on cases and stories from Puerto Rico! As someone whose family is from there, it made me want to visit the island to check the specific spots! ¡Muy espooky! Trust me bro-catski!

Great UFO/UAP Pod
I’ve never been to Fenway to see the green monster, but I know every new episode of Somewhere in the Skies I’ll be listening. I have been fascinated with the subject my whole life, especially after having two experiences myself. The updates and coverage Ryan provides is phenomenal. Also listening to him while I work is just a fun and relaxing experience. Keep looking up!

Top UAP News Podcast!
Whenever I’m feeling down and just a little bit Kona blue I put on the sweet sweet sounds of Ryan and they help pick me up making me feel Honolulu happy. The podcast to go to for awesome interviews and current events in the UAP field!

Best UFO Podcast
I've been listening for years now Ryan is GREAT!! Love the sightings and stories I know if there's something going on in the UFO community RYAN is going to tell me!! Must listen!!! Just Subscribe NOW u will NOT REGRET IT!!! Because I only listen on Apple. I'd really wish that we could comment individually on each episode. I've been told you can do that on Spotify, but I am not a Spotify fan. I would also love a way to listen live and comment live without having to go on YouTube Maybe sometime in the future Ryan can get his own website where it runs live stream from his own site. he definitely deserves that and so much more. I can't wait to meet him in person someday and see him talk. At a conference.

Awesome UFO Podcast
Ryan shares weekly news with personal experience on the UAP topic, with a very nice listener collab every week - especially Sunday nights at 4pm. Wouldn't miss it. Go Kona Blue!

Belgian Waffle Review
Great podcast with interesting topics. Was surprisingly hard for me to find on Apple Podcasts since searching the full word “somewhere” caused the search feature to return 0 results. Not sure what that’s about. Had to look up another podcast and find this through a “similar to” option.

Best UFO Podcast
Ryan's long running and always current UAP podcast is among the premier OG shows on the topic. It's a must follow for anyone diving into the phenomenon. Better than a tasty Belgian Waffle says the great Gann Dolph !!

Can’t Do It Anymore
I like Ryan and what he’s done for the subject of UAP. He’s genuinely interested in people’s experiences, is respectful of his audience’s journey (he’s not going to platform nut jobs who are out to make a quick buck), and he has gotten some amazing guests over the years due to, I believe, the respect he has in the field. That said I haven’t enjoyed how the program has evolved. The good: Narrated stories, especially those with voice actors. Witness accounts! These are the gems that got me hooked. Unfortunately, these are rare now, and too infrequent to justify a subscription. The bad: Ryan is too generous with his show. First, there are the livestreams — I guess they’re fine if you’re watching and not listening, or need to see your comment in the thread, or are so desperate for community that you need Ryan to acknowledge your comment. It feels like 60% of those episodes are just about Ryan skimming comments. Ugh, dude, Ryan, you’re tripping over the bar. More Bad… Shows without Ryan: Bite-Sized UFOs, Tin Foil Hat — both with monotone narrators who sound like they’re doing show-and-tell. Suzanne, the cohost nobody asked for. She loves popping off with her annoying voice, opinions, and often unfounded claims that nobody asked for. Omnibus shows…again, cool once in a while, not every other episode. Ryan, if you don’t want to do the show anymore, then put out fewer episodes. Quality over quantity. The ugly: I can’t believe the audio on everything except the narrated stories and witness accounts is as awful as it is after all these years. I literally have to adjust the volume whenever a new person is speaking because they won’t be anywhere near the volume of the previous speaker. And then you have Ryan’s voice, which goes from near shouting at times to a quiet library voice. I just can’t do it anymore.

one of my favorite ufo podcasts for a long time now. The witness account episodes got me hooked but I love the discussions on current ufo news. It’s nice to have a well informed source that Isn’t spreading disinformation… whether it be by mistake or not.

Crystalline Potato
Great nuts and bolts ufological and experiencer podcast with an open perspective that leaves all options on the table. Ryan has a tremendous amount of knowledge on the topic, but enters every conversation with humility. Quite amazing to hear him interview novice film makers with the same respect and curiosity that he interviews heralded and renowned pundits and scholars like D W Pasulka! Always bring popcorn and a notepad to every episode!

Always one of the best!
I’ve been listening to Ryan for years, and he’s one of the best, most sincere, and most humble in the UFO podcast biz. He has so much knowledge, treats every case and witness with a healthy dose of skepticism. Keep up the great work, Ryan. Crystalline potato!!!!!!

Ryan & Rob
So excited to listen to the recent omnibus. Two UFO juggernauts for hours on end. I sure miss Rob’s work. Such a talent but I understand too. Tell Rob I do love his voice because he’s one of the best storytellers out there. Ryan, we met at Monsterfest 2 last year and even brought up Rob during our visit. Much love! -Eric

Great show
Reminds me Jim Harrold’s paranormal podcast. Well produced very engaging interviews. Highly recommended
Allen Garrow
Annoying background music
Graeme Rendall’s carefully precise narration in the Bite-Sized UFOs episodes is very difficult to pay attention to because of those episodes’ intrusive and obnoxious background music.

Woke
Super left… very woke. Mentioned that in a positive way and received a profane insulting response. Quit listening for that reason.

If you enjoy delving into the UAP zone- this is a good place to start
Ryan always provides a variety of topics and great guests to keep this podcast interesting … really enjoy the witness accounts.

Somewhere in the Skies
The guests and content covers many areas of the paranormal with fair and balanced content. The UFO content is informative and not the woo factor often on other programs so I look forward to weekly episodes knowing it’s not geared to extreme content but true information that allows the listener to form own opinions.

Top 3 for my favorite podcasts
Ryan with his somewhere in the skies, gives a great delivery on all topics that deal with the phenomenon. He keeps it entertaining while staying on point with the facts. Also keeps an open mind even when the account seems fantastical.

The Best UAP Podcast Out There
I’ve been listening to Ryan for years and the quality of this show just gets better year over year. If you’re looking for a good, objective podcast on the UAP/UFO topic, then give this a listen. This podcast doesn’t stray into the “woo-woo” believer category, and also doesn’t attempt to debunk every claim. Unbiased, fair, and informative.

A Must-Listen for UFO Enthusiasts
I’ve been listening to Somewhere in the Skies for a long time, and it remains one of the best podcasts on UFOs, extraterrestrial encounters, and government disclosure. Ryan Sprague is not only a fantastic host but also genuinely engaged with his listeners, often responding to comments and fostering great discussions. The interviews are insightful, the research is top-notch, and the storytelling keeps you hooked. If you’re interested in UFO phenomena and want a podcast that blends curiosity with credibility, this is the one to follow!

Whining about Trump
I used to enjoy this podcast but it has really gone downhill in recent years. The witness accounts wee the best episodes anyway. Nowadays Ryan can’t hold back his sighing and whining about Trump and his Team. He can’t read the room and I’m out.

A calm presence that demands your attention
Love love this show! I exclusively listen on Spotify but I came here to win the vintage UFO book , errr , show my absolute adoration for Ryan and support him. I feel like I'm hanging with an old friend. So many times I want to cut in with some crazy story about backpacking in Alaska and my phone losing time or buzzing outside the tent in the middle of the night. I love it, Ryan, keep up the good work!

Not your typical paranormal podcast
I discovered this podcast about 18 months ago, and have been hooked ever since. One of the things I love is that you’re not bombarded with the same 5 UFO/UAP stories that have been covered time and time again. Somewhere in the Skies offers up lesser known encounters, more international stores versus US focused shows, and stays on top of current events.

Somewhere in my ears as often as possible!
I love this show it’s always a good day when I can tune into somewhere in the skies Ryan is an excellent researcher, story teller, and person. I still remeber the first episode I tuned into and remember think how chill the host was and now almost a year later I’m still listening to each new installment. If you are looking for information on the ufo/UAP topic this is a wonderful source of current and historical knowledge on things happening in the skies. He also knows like comic book artist that focus on the subject too and I can’t really put into words how cool that is but if you are just getting into the topic or if you e been here awhile this is a perfect addition to your listening ventures! Peace |^___^| UPDATE: after listening to the Moreland story I just had to say the production value of this podcast is next level the ending gave me actualy chills realizing that we never had a clear idea of whats going in to begin with and the further the past is lost to us the less we are able to see clearly I can’t express enough gratitude to people who do what somewhere in the skies does tge amount of effort that goes into each and every take is epic to say the least cheers
