So entertaining
This podcast is five stars for so many reasons. Bruce is one of the most entertaining people you will ever listen to. On top of that, his memory of so many years of working at the WWF is incredible. You will find yourself going back and re-listening to old episodes.

Bring back JBL!
I was an obsessed wrestling fan from the late 90s to around 2010, so I absolutely love the behind the scenes stories from that period and earlier. I absolutely love the eps with JBL. He’s got great stories, he’s funny, and just seems like an all around likable guy. Not being too educated in the behind the scenes stuff, I wasn’t very familiar with Bruce Prichard until I watched unreal and started listening to this pod. Yikes, he feels like the opposite of JBL to me. Conrad will ask a question trying to draw out info and he’ll give a curt one word reply. I’ve already come across a few episodes where he throws hissy fits over anyone saying they have a closer relationship with Vince than he does. If you’re that much of a big deal and so tight with Vince, why whine about it for 15mins? Anyway, JBL eps I give 5/5, Bruce episodes I give 3/5 and that’s only because Conrad is great at keeping the questions coming. Also the ads are pretty unpleasant. I don’t love how they’re worked into the show so they’re harder to skip through. I don’t need a 10m intro about mortgages.

Listening to Survivor series 90
As I’ve been listening to this getting a late start, this has been very interesting to listen to, and I’ve been enjoying it very much!

Formerly The Best Wrestling Podcast Ever. Not so much now.
Years ago I rated this podcast 5 stars. Here's an update from a longtime listener of Something to Wrestle. I've been with the show since the first episode (as of 2026, 10 years.) I've gotten many hours of entertainment from it, and for that I'm thankful. Once Bruce returned to work at WWE, the quality (and frequency) of new episodes really took a hit. I dealt with it. It was still a show of free, great stories, even if so many episodes were "best ofs". When Bruce Prichard took a hiatus from the show and JBL filled in for him, I took a break too. I can't stand JBL, so it was an easy decision. Now that Bruce is back (late 2025-early 2026), the show has found its form again. His stories and insight in the business can't be topped. However, both hosts political viewpoints have become more prominent both in the things they say, don't say, and the ads they choose to shill. Speaking of ads, they are so intrusive and frequent, the show is almost unlistenable. I understand that Bruce and Conrad are in this to make money. I get it. But dang, back in the day, they sold blue pills and tee shirts (and Bruce would give you a call if you bought one!). Now it's an add every three minutes it seems like for every snake oil product out there. l’ll still listen for the tales about the good ole days, but these guys will never see a dime from me as far as supporting advertisers or a predatory mortgage business.

Different Host needed
I love listening to Bruce tell all about the old stuff, but Conrad needs to go away.

Show review
The show was phenomenal the first 150-200 episodes. After Bruce went back to wwe the shows got less revealing and after the show became a big deal u have to listen to 10 ads in a 2 hr show.

Bring Back JBL
Bruce Boring 🤦🏾‍♂️ show was way more entertaining when JBL

Only if you love commercials
Show was hit or miss with Bruce, but only gotten worse with Conrad’s self promotion and JBL’s nonsense week after week. Ding Dong Hogan’s Dead too.

Jumping the Shark
It’s sad, this once great podcast has finally jumped the shark and needs to be put to rest. When I looked this morning and saw that one of the members of Insane Clown Posse was the guest, I knew it was time to tap out. We went from no guests needed to scraping the bottom of the bottom of the barrel to get a guest. It was a good run. Let it die in peace.

Vince’s stooge
And a habitual liar. Always trying to spin topics to suit his own narrative. Strange how he disappeared after the man who he’d probably follow thru the gates of hewl was outed for being the sick depraved lunatic we all know he is. JBL taking over just makes things worse. What an absolute circus.
KingUrameshi
Commercials galore
If you’re interested in hearing 3 minutes of commercials every 7 minutes, then this is the show for you. The number of them per episode is nuts.

Losing intrest
I used to love this podcast. Bruce needs to come back soon. I can't stand how JBL just heaps praise on everyone, and everything! You could bring up Stalin, and JBL would be like "Oh my gosh!! Stalin! Wha, wha, whada, whada great guy!! Jus, Jus, Just a great guy! Heluva worker!! No matter who it is, or what the topic is, its just the greatest thing ever, to JBL. It's like UGH!! What I like about Bruce is his honesty. He has his own opinion. He doesnt just agree with everything Conrad says, ya know?

From Twitter
Mr. Layfield, I really enjoy your tails of the past on “Something To Wrestle With”. This is not a wrestling storyline, its full contact enjoyment! Right up there with Mr. Prichard. Maybe when he comes back you and Conrad can continue with another podcast?
PurpleMonkey27
John Layfield??!
Important review: the episode numbers got messed up. Went from 479 to 470 instead of 480. I keep getting older but they stay the same age.

Honesty
This show was absolutely great. Bruce has so much insight and his humorous antidotes are priceless. The JBL filling in has been boring and gone on way too long. I like many will listen again when he is gone

What happened ?
I really enjoyed the podcast for about the first two years when this podcast first aired, but then after awhile Conrad takes over the entire podcast with more and more ads. When I listen to a podcast I don’t want the first 5 minutes to be nothing but ads. Bruce is great but there’s no reason Conrad should talk more than Bruce. Also I get so SICK of hearing Conrad try and make Bruce feel bad for a segment that was done over 20 years ago. Times change get over it.

JBL is great
I’ve listened to every episode since the beginning. I was a little reluctant when I seen JBL was filling in but I’m glad I listened. JBL gives a different look at the business and definitely a guy I’d like to drink with

Time to change the name
Maybe since Brucie doesn’t want to play anymore it’s time to rename the show
Kallofkthulhu
Conrad is god awful
It was entertaining for a year or two, then the money mark decided to start schilling boner pills. It’s been a slow death march ever since

Love the show.
Love this podcast. So many great stories for a longtime wrestling fan. Thank you Bruce and JBL!

It’s 2025…
…why has the audio quality of this podcast been declining at a rapid pace while the cost of quality equipment and editing tools have decreased exponentially?

Nostalgic memories
As an adult, I get to learn about what went on behind the scenes from my favorite wrestling angles. I used to religiously follow the WWE from the late 80s all the way up to the mid 2000s. Obviously, I grew out of it as an adult, but I do occasionally follow major storylines for entertainment value. Listening to this podcast has been so entertaining and I am really appreciative of the efforts from Conrad and Bruce Pritchard.

Give JBL his own show
When Bruce comes back PLEASE give JBL his own show to tell stories like he is now. He is an awesome story teller for a podcast like this.

Don’t understand the negativity
This is one of the best and most consistent wrestling podcasts that exists. 5 stars. The world is a better place because this podcast exists.
boxofoddities2
Changed my review from 5 star!!
Watching old WWE McMahon era is like watching Benoit matches.. and Bruce defended that culture and that man!! So unsubscribed and byee
AKTX408
When it’s actually on, I’ll take it
Was way better pre Bruce returning to the WWE, but still has its moments. Outside of the Tatanka episode with 1000 side tangents. That was awful.

Broke Larry David, I mean Bernie Sanders is such a shmuck. A millionaire crying wolf that he’s an everyday man, fooling dumb young kids.
Quality > Quantity
Show usually leaves me annoyed
Used to love the show but it doesn’t feel like they’re trying anymore. 10 people could say something happened one way but Bruce will just insult them, ask if they were there and then say they’re misremembering if they were. He’s the biggest brain in wrestling with all the memories just perfectly written down his little notebooks, apparently.
Oneraidernation
Good
Love the show, I love hearing all of the old stuff, but the ads get out of control sometimes and the co-host’s hillbilly accent is brutal sometimes
Dirt_McGirt77
Bruce is insufferable.
I thought slurring drunk or opiate-filled Bruce was hard to tolerate, but I think amphetamine-loaded, animated Bruce might be worse! Never have I heard a person try SO hard and be SO amused by themselves. Good lord he’s hard to take. I can’t do it anymore.
YUsucksobad
Can’t support anymore
As a former Patreon member I can’t support these people anymore. Sure there’s innocent until proven guilty but to constantly hear the McMahon name be mentioned is just tiring.

The Bears
The Territory Show was SOOOOO good, and then the bit with the bears had me DEAD!! You guys make my week, being a lifelong wrestling fan, this is THE show!! Thx Bruce and Conrad.

A Must Listen
A must listen for any WWF/E fan from the mid 80s to early 2000’s. Some very funny moments and great insight into the behind the scenes of WWF. Even topics that don’t sound interesting are made interesting.

Tatanka Episode
I have liked this show overall - it has given me countless hours of entertainment and laughs…but Jesus, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves about this Tatanka episode. Brutal. Just brutal.

It’s Over
This podcast used to be great but with constant ads to force you to buy the ad free show which is still no better. If anyone wants real info and entertainment with wrestling listen to Corny’s two shows. Way better than anything here. Conrad is the worst!!!!
Shark1971shark
Too many ads!
Lord, there are like 4 minutes of ads for every 6 minutes of show.

Bruce the Comedian
Bruce should have a show where he just does impersonations of wrestlers and other legends. His impersonation of Jerry Jarrett and Stu Hart have me in tears while im at work, ive been going back and listening to the older podcasts. By far my favorite podcast, keep them coming guys🍻
wackasackkkk
Tatanka episode
I got about half way through this episode and couldn’t listen anymore. Bruce just sounds at times like he is half assing the topic and talks about whatever he wants or rambles about things that are only funny to him. A digression here and there for a few moments is fine, but I’m not giving up my time if Bruce doesn’t care enough to stick to the script and discuss what we came to hear.
troglobrody
Muzzle Conrad please!!!
I love this show, it is my favorite show on my podcast app and on YouTube, only thing I don’t care for is how Conrad Thompson is always interrupting Bruce, he literally ask Bruce a question and before he can answer or finish answering him he is already talking over him. Bruce is the show and Bruce is the real star of the show so why would you not let him talk more, keep up the great work Bruce and tell Tater I said du huh he know what you mean.
