The Will Arnett Podcast
It’s not all about you Will. You need to let the guests get a word in. I loved it when Marc Maron shut Will down.

Party of three
I love this podcast so much. I listen while door dashing, It makes me laugh, and have I run over a curb because I was laughing so hard?? You all are amazing.. Jason and Sean are my favorite. Will you are starting to grow on me. I gave you four stars because you’re always cutting Sean off when he’s trying to ask a question.. we know he’s slow, but that’s why we love him so do not cut him off. Let him. formulate his question or tell his stories that are so unrelated, but yet funny. Y’all keep up the great work. And if you ever have a fan guest host on the podcast, please keep me in mind I would love to do it! If you’re ever in Nashville, hit me up!

John Mayer
I have listened to every episode. I like recorded shows better - live show was meh BUT THEN John Meyer singing was so spectacular. John sounds like butter melting on fresh baked bread 😌 (Not sure what Jason’s analogy would be lol)

Hollywood should stay out of politics!
Agenda so obvious it’s not even remotely entertaining.

Bateman
Bateman pretending to not know that Joe Rogan does stand up was very weird. They keep talking over the guest. Zoom podcasts are corny.

Shut up already!
This podcast gives me anxiety! If you actually want to hear an interview with the guest, this isn’t the podcast for you. The hosts are constantly talking over each other + also about themselves + don’t allow their guest to speak. Poor Sean is constantly picked on. I love these guys as actors, but I’ve given up on this podcast as it has only gotten worse.

Used to love
I really used to love this show and couldn’t wait for each new episode … I realize now that I haven’t been listening so I decided to listen to the live John Mayer episode. Too much shilling for your mobile company - really strange partnership BTW, and not a lot of time given to John to answer questions. Eventually, I was able to hear John but I would understand if anyone couldn’t get through all the voices to finally hear John. Maybe 3 hosts are just too many.

My Favorite Podcast
I love the way you all joke with each other, but it is so clear how much you love one another. It is like being on the back patio on an Autumn evening being with friends chatting.

Love these guys but
I am a LOYAL listener. Every Monday on my way to work. I love this podcast. Love these guys. I laugh out loud especially the Italian Opera bit. It’s my favorite. But I do miss in the very beginning when you would have on scientists and people other than celebrities…can we bring those people back once in a while please? Just because they didn’t work on your tour doesn’t mean you should stop having them on your podcast. I really enjoyed learning new things with the nuanced guests. Just a thought. Keep killin it and working on those byes Sean!

Why are they so mean
It’s super weird that they hate Sean but also they’re all friends? What is this.

Unlistenable
3 mildly funny guys trying to out funny each other while constantly talking over each other. I defy anyone to get through the first 10 minutes of the stern episode.

Love you guys but…
Can you please stop interrupting your guests?? I’ve been a loyal listener since the beginning but lately it’s just too much. You interrupt a guest’s story with one of your inside jokes and completely ruin the rhythm of the conversation. And some of the guests are totally lost because they don’t listen like we do. Please stop interrupting!

Parker Posey - So Cool She’s An ICEBERG
I’m so sorry but I need to respond to Ms. Posey’s comments. She seems to be the only one who dare speak ALOUD in a lone singular voice for the very last abomination of persons (think “Fake Blake Beard Reynolds”). C’Mon Parker, everyone saw that interview with you upsizing Lively in your rudeness, arrogance and obvious contempt for another interviewer on the junket. You’re old, tired, bitter for some unknown reason and it’s bleeding out of your pores, your words & your actions. Maybe take a long vacation or retire early, eh?

Gone too far
Wasn’t enough to have a podcast. Now a money grab with a celebrity mobile plan. Rename the show: Shameless.

Smart? Sometimes. Inclusive? Not really.
I wanted to love SmartLess. The format is fun, the chemistry is easy, and the guests can be interesting. But after dozens of episodes, it’s hard to ignore how homogenous and insular this show really is. Despite claiming to be “SmartLess,” the hosts clearly hold a lot of power—and consistently use that power to platform the same type of guest: white, male, older, and famous. Women and people of color appear occasionally, but rarely with the same warmth or familiarity, and the surprise the hosts express at their brilliance is revealing—and, frankly, exhausting. It’s disappointing to see such a massive platform used so narrowly. When you have the reach, resources, and influence these three have, booking diverse and thought-provoking guests shouldn't be an afterthought—it should be the standard. If you enjoy Hollywood inside jokes and don’t mind a closed circle of friends talking to each other, you may love this. But if you’re looking for depth, range, or real curiosity about the world beyond their bubble, you may leave the same way I did: disappointed.

Parker Posey
I absolutely love all of the hosts and you guys have gotten me through very tough times. Thank you 💕 But this lady….you disrespected a journalist in the most immature way possible. That was embarrassing. Frankly, because of that interview, I now know who you are. I knew your name on the periphery, but otherwise had no idea who you were. And now you are acting on a show that’s based in Thailand. I grew up in Thailand. I deeply respect the people who formed my childhood. You don’t deserve to act in a country I grew up in, a country who formed me as a person. But you won’t care because you’re a narcissist. Clearly from that interview. Grow up.

Meh
After a while this pod becomes tiring because the hosts are too hung up on the fact they’re not young anyone. Kinda sad, not great content

My Favorite Poker Table
If you’re looking for the best podcast chemistry out there, SmartLess is the place to start. The hosts—Jason, Sean, and Will—make every conversation feel like you’ve stumbled into a private hangout, where hilarity and honesty mix in the best possible way. The Ryan Reynolds episode delivers lightning-fast wit and epic laughs all around, while Conan O’Brien’s spot is a masterclass in self-deprecating comedy and genuinely sharp insights about showbiz and friendship. The Will Ferrell opener sets the bar with both chaos and warmth, and George Clooney’s episode flips effortlessly between Hollywood pranks and genuine activism. The Paul McCartney episode is as surreal and full of charm as you’d expect—silly anecdotes, incredible music stories, and proof the hosts can get even legends to relax. Maya Rudolph and Kathryn Hahn bring total unpredictability and joy; their appearances are a pure mood boost. Bill Hader goes full improv, launching into spot-on impressions and riffing with the crew like he’s known them forever. Ben Affleck and Justin Theroux let the conversation spiral into both sharp banter and wild stories, somehow keeping it both laid-back and endlessly funny. And it’s not just the big names. Jennifer Aniston and Tom Hanks’ episodes bring warmth, nostalgia, and genuine moments that stick with you long after. The secret ingredient? It’s never just about the celebs—there’s a real sense of connection and play among the hosts, and you can feel how much fun everyone’s having. Even as the guest list gets more impressive, the show always feels welcoming, casual, and completely unpredictable. SmartLess makes you laugh, sometimes gets you thinking, and always leaves you wanting more. If you’re not already listening, you’re missing the best conversations in podcasting.

Why make it political ?
All the unnecessary virtue talk turns me off. Yuck

You guys are great
Was so excited to see Grayson was a guest. I think you guys talked for 3.5 minutes straight, telling Graydon about graydon, to graydon, for the audience. That’s spade and carvey territory. Please, please, just ask the question. Questions are short. “ tell us about that time” boom. We listen cause u 3 are amazing, but a short question and letting the guest answer is always preferable to taking turns lecturing the guest about themself.

At this point tiresome and repetitive
Bateman rambles on taking 10 minutes to form a question. Arnett no longer funny. Unsubscribing on my way out.
Audioooooo
Let the guest speak!
Why don’t you ask the editor to time Graydon Carter’s replies and the time you spent asking questions or interrupting him? It gets worse when the guest is perceived as intellectually sophisticated and you become nervous and ask endless questions. The man wrote his memoirs and we learned very little from them.

What a show!!!
This is my favorite podcast. I love listening I feel like I am hanging out with friends. It is funny, insightful and honest.

more women please

Always smart and funny…
Each one of these guys brings something unique to the table. They never fail to make me smile, chuckle and outright laugh. I appreciate the way Sean laughs and goes along with the barbs from Will and Justin. Look forward to this podcast every week. Thanks to Nicole Wallace for the Justin Bateman interview in her podcast that introduced me to Smartless.

I LOVE this show but these guys stammer constantly!! Slow down with your questions or write them down. It takes away from actually listening to it. Why are you rushing??

Fun but kinda over Jason and Will being mean
Used to love the show but I find I can’t really stomach it anymore; how many episodes do we have to listen to Jason and Will making fun of Sean? It was kinda funny/light before but now it’s just too much and they’re so mean; he can’t say anything without being slammed. We already have to endure a bunch of dumb old straight white men in this country saying dumb things every day so please, just do better. #yuck

You’re Just an Actor
I’d like to like this show, but the holier than thou take on politics is laughable and shows how small these men are.

Jason and Will are so mean to Sean.
This show is one of the most delightful parts of my week! These guys make me wish my friends were cooler.

Podcast Trinity
These three bring it every episode. Jason, Sean and Will have great guests and are hilarious. They are the podcast trinity.

sad to delete…
If they would just stay off being political I would love this show. Sorry but villainizing over half the country isn’t good for business, and isn’t American. So now it’s time to unfollow and delete. Stick to entertaining people, no one cares about “celebrities’” political views, especially when they are elitist and out of touch from most of the country and real life. It’s crazy to me that these people would hate a country that gave them so much. But here we are. Time to go.

White guys with Privilege
So vapid. Like no one cares about your filming and projects; they don’t live in the real world.

Second try
I was listening to the podcast today, and one of them asked the guest what he thought about America. Those three guys sat there and waited with bated breath to hear how horrible the United States is, only to hear that other people actually do like this country. I can’t listen to a podcast that craps on the country that gave them everything they have.

Best most entertaining

Love the hate for orange
These guys are pissing off so many magats it’s hilarious. That’s reason enough to listen and enjoy, knowing the annoyance of the red hats is working lol The magats really think they’re some kind of saviors when they’re the ones that threaten democracy freedom and justice FOR ALL! Tired of the right not seeing they have made America fascist again really. That’s it that’s the only thing they’ve done. Unalive yourselves

10/10
I love you guys, and after listening to roughly 100 episodes I realized you likely are so comforting and well-liked by so many people because you offer the antidote to toxicity, you’re just friends who make fun of each other but love each other and mean no harm, never have to posture to protect ego. You’re so kind and gracious with your guests. Doesn’t hurt that you’re hilarious.

Justice for Sean
The brilliance of Sean Hayes is underutilized. Too often he is just a punching bag for Will and Jason. It’s a shame.

Needs One Host
Jason Bateman.

Devolved over time
I have been a listener since they started during the pandemic. The hosts’ lack of education and general knowledge has worn thin. Will Arnett constantly interrupting people is now unbearable. They are at their ‘best’ talking industry with friends and comedians who can dance around their ineptitude. I listen for the guests.

Like A Weighted Blanket For My Brain
If podcasts could be a childhood blanket, SmartLess would be my “Wubbie”- tattered from overuse, slightly unhinged, but full of comfort and oddly sophisticated charm. Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes are like the three weird uncles I never had (and possibly never wanted), but now can’t live without. Whether they’re interviewing a Nobel Prize winner or a guy who once saw a squirrel do something weird, I’m locked in. I laugh-snort in traffic. I smile like a lunatic in the grocery store. One time I peed a little. They are pure chaos and deep connection in one beautifully absurd package. Like therapy, if your therapists were famous, emotionally unstable, and constantly interrupting each other. In these crazy times, SmartLess keeps me grounded, giddy, and weirdly hopeful. Highly recommend if you need to laugh, cry-laugh, or just feel like everything’s going to be OK because at least these guys exist. 10/10. Would cuddle again.

Political opinion not wanted
Like the general comedic content until Jason starts spreading his negative vitriol for Trump. A large majority of the country voted for Trump so you’re alienating a large group of potential listeners. Stop the negativity!
