This is my favorite true crime podcast to listen to- I drive an hour to and from work every day- and this is what I listen to. These two are funny, and sometimes you need that when you’re talking about absolutely horrible crimes committed by horrible people.

I started listening to these guys a few months ago and my only complaint is that I wish I’d started sooner! However on the bright side I have hundreds of episodes to choose from now. I listen mostly on my walks and longer drives and constantly find myself laughing out loud at Jimmy and James. Never stop making episodes please!!

I love these guys. I know that there are some people who are weird about comedy and true crime, but you really get the sense that the comedy is a coping mechanism and that they truly care about the victims and getting the stories out there. They also do not pretend to be anything they are not. They are not trying to investigate or challenge, they are trying to get stories out and connect people. I’m glad I discovered them a little bit late because I have a huge catalog to get me through this slog of my workday!

I’m probably not your typical listener. I’m a southern, conservative girl from Alabama who grew up with zero alcohol or profanity in my family. I was asked to listen to one episode because it related to dogs….blah blah blah. Well, thanks a lot, you weirdos! I’m now hooked and listening to all episodes! Other podcasts bore me to tears now and I hate that I love you guys so much! My husband is tired of me talking about you slamming the south. I love it. Keep up the good work! (I grew up between Anniston and Talladega so, yeah!).

I feel a little guilty laughing while listening to a true crime story, but James and Jimmie are so funny I can’t stop. The amount of details that are provided are incredible. I recently found the show and now I’m listening from the beginning.

I enjoy listening to your podcast. You two make these episodes entertaining . The Velma Cousins 😂😂😂 made my stomach hurt from the laughter .

Recently introduce to Small Town Murder so I went way back to 2017 and started at the beginning. While the crimes are horrific and well researched, James and Jimmie are hilarious and so much fun to listen to. Give them a try.

The jokes are crass (body functions, body fluids, cursing, etc). The stories and history of small towns is interesting. In a world full of violence and injustice, I somehow need all of this show in my life, and listen to a little every day.

The show is great! I’m currently listening to the backlog. Once I’m caught up, I’ll be moving on to Crime in Sports, because these two are hilarious.

I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. I’m now obsessed with this podcast.

This is by far the best true crime podcast. I can’t believe how much work goes into each episode because the level of detail is insane.

The best Rod Beck/ Wu Tang podcast out there. My first car was a pale green 1977 Chevy Impala.

I find this podcast so entertaining. These guys say things that go on in your head and I love that. They cover stories that I’d never heard about. I like that there is usually an option for a long show or shorter ones depending on my drive time that I have to listen to it. Great job guys, keep it up!

Been listening to podcasts daily since 2016, but have never written a review until now. I’ve listened to this show daily for at least a year now, & now I also watch these guys on Netflix, so I figured a review is the least I could do, (aside from $1 a month on Patreon) to help them in the charts. I hope this show keeps going for years & years. Thanks guys!

I have listened to true crime podcasts since the Serial, and binge through every episode. I just started listening less than 2 months ago, and heard at least 25 episodes! Love the length, format, details, especially Jimmie’s reactions….”Yeah?!” My friend and I are coming to a live show in September!
