TRASH
This podcast just like its host is complete trash! She talks out of the side of her neck, she says stuff just to get a reaction, and last but not least, she lies on men and makes life changing accusations and even when proven to be lies, NEVER even apologized!

All you do is put people down especially Black women. Amanda just talks all day has no real solutions so I see why Hollywood black balled her weirdo self. SMH

Love the podcast
āWe donāt have discipline as Americansā I would love to hear an episode on what that means. To me it means lack of community & neglecting our children
Hey girllssss
Sheās been indoctrinated
I was such a huge fan until she stopped doing her due diligence. Painful to see.

True Friend Episode
Thank you Amanda for your honesty and openness in this one. I recently had a falling out with someone I thought was a true friend and realized I did not even have a definition for what true friendship looks like. I have a problem with oversharring and extending way too much and that's because I haven't before this episode really defined what is true friendship and what is aquantanceship. I love how you ended the episode āthe truest friend you can have is you.ā
I actually donāt think in my life I've had many true friends, and that's sad but also eye opening. But at least I know it starts with me.

Ads
I love you and think youāre smart and funny and you have very good guests. The Ads are murder. Itās like when I stopped watching MSNBC in 2016. It seemed like every commercial was from oil and gas. We know that change only comes when corporations like McDās(supporting the genocide) feel it in their pockets.

A gem
Amanda Seales is and always has been a real one. Donāt come here if youāre not ready to listen and grow and question yourself. Donāt come here if youāre not ready for laughs and cackles in the middle of the gym when youāre listening, but also donāt come here if youāre not ready to be made to feel a little uncomfortable sometimes. Sheāll push you and say it like it is. She doesnāt conflate opinions with facts. She gives space for dissent, respectfully. But she wonāt compromise who she is, and especially wonāt back down from advocating for those who need a voice. Amanda for Prez.

Gems Dropped
I know Amanda is brilliant, yet somehow she continues to elevate my viewpoints and further the conversation by adding points I hadnāt yet considered or even know were options. Even when sheās cracking jokes about how a particular instrument can make one more attractive (to mostānot us) makes me ponder. Sheās not wrong.
This was such a good episode! I really like how she took us on the ride from Hollywood to politics and how it relates. Like the episodes with Chris Smalls about the labor unions, she really breaks it down for those of us who donāt know. She always pushes the conversation forward. Excellent episode as always.

Side Effects of Learning the TRUTH!
I think Amanda Seales is a gift, and all the people she brings on the show are incredible and brilliant. Side effects of Haiti truly outraged me and made me feel robbed of the true history of Caribe all my life as a Dominican American. It is crucial that we shout from the rooftops the true history-reality of AyitĆ and the power and goodness that the country is. Growing up marginalized in the US i never f*d with the xenophobia against Haitians by the DR and the rest of the world. I know we must "love one another and support each other" as Black Antilleans. I love all Seales' podcast and speaking her truth. I love and appreciate and hope i can take what i learn from these podcasts to make a difference in my community! Empowering. Also if Dr Albert made a podcast i'd listen to every episode religiously.

McDonaldās ads?
Iām just confused by McDonaldās adsā¦havenāt we been collectively boycotting them for their support of the genocide? I finally came to check out the pod and 10 minutes in I got blasted with 2 McDonaldās ads⦠so yea, I got turned off and tuned out.

Victim shaming
I am so very sorry that this happened to you. I also commend you for your bravery in sharing your story. I experienced much of the subtle and not so subtle victim shaming that you describe. In my case I knew my assailant, he was someone I considered a āfriend.ā While most of my friends were supportive, I had one person ask me if I was certain that he had assaulted me, ābecause he seems so nice.ā Another blamed me for ābringing the problem into the neighborhoodā by talking about it. Another said that it was hard to believe me because I chose not to go to the police. Because we know just how helpful the police are in these situations. The reason I didnāt report it to the police was that similar to you (and many other victims of sexual assault, I had the experience of questioning my memory of details of the event. The reason this happens isnāt simply that we donāt want to believe that it happened, or that we are lying; trauma actually changes the structure of the brain causing foggy memories of traumatic event details. I was also afraid that if I was questioned and not believed, that I would start doubting what had happened to me. And since it was a he said/she said situation and because it wasnāt a ārapeā according to the legal definition of rape, I was fairly certain that I wouldnāt be believed and I just didnāt feel strong enough to face that on top of the assault. Itās interesting that the whole time Iāve been writing this Iāve felt the need to explain and justify my choices. When someone is a victim of burglary we donāt ask them why they had stuff in their home that would make people break into their house to get the stuff. We still have so very far to go.

Thank you.
I appreciate your candor and being vulnerable for us. Iām sorry no one showed up for you throughout those trying times. Itās in those moments that demonstrate the resilience thatās gifted to us, but gradually learned to appreciate.
Going through my trials and tribulations, though people have tried, itās hard to involve individuals when your carrying such a weight your not even sure if you can carry yourself. But you do and to keep moving forward. I pray you continue finding that flame within. Thank you again. šø

In Amanda we will ALWAYS trust
Just wanted to be another voice to support you and thank you for what you do for our communities. I've learned so much from you and am so happy that I can trust the information and resources you share with us. There are so many opinions and the internet let's ppl magnify stupid takes and think pieces for engagement. Lots of us see the real and your heart. We love you.

Ritchie Reseda
This podcast should be required listening to every HS student in the USA. Required. I really needed some inspiration and after reading about Ritchie in Ijeoma Oluoās new book and hearing him talk about him on her book tour, I was so glad to hear your conversation. I appreciate you Amanda.

Amanda Seales is a pivotal point in education.
Amanda and her guests speak the truth in a very digestible way. This podcast uses common vernacular, current phrases and defines words for concepts that oppressive systems try to uphold and hide under vague language. Not only that, she teaches us how to dismantle these systems. I have been listening for years and will continue.

Hereās to the Flow
Listening to Episode 308 on my way back from Mass and it truly is A Message.
I also just listened to Mr. Franklinās episode 303 AND WHEEW my black Catholic heart is readyš Mr. Franklin hit the nail on the head. Trust me, I had a decade of deconstructing, to put the heavy weight of the religion I carry and looking back I honestly thought the faith wasnāt for me but Iāve found God is more than the discrepancies of being human and I hear the call to show that there is love, even here in the church of the unloveable.
This podcast just became my best friend š«¶š¾šŗš Here are your roses Amanda š¹š¹š¹ canāt wait to watch the documentaryšš¾

So many gems!
I honestly feel like Amanda Seales is my soul sister. We totally be going through the same thing at the same time. I love listening to her podcasts because theyāre often so applicable to my own experiences. Anyway, this latest episode with Chidera Eggerue is SO GOOD! Loving every second. So many gems!!

Amanda Seales is a hypocrite and is monetizing on topics about which she knows nothing. Spreading misinformation to masses is dangerous and breathtakingly ignorant.

Itās what Iām looking for in podcasting
Itās a really good podcast. Thatās for the people who might not want to read a long post lol.
In the āpodcast spaceā a lot of people tend to start podcasts for the simple goal of being heard and maybe making money. This doesnāt seem like those. Itās really informative yet remains lively (imagine Amanda not keeping the energy up lol), and she brings on great guests. Many of the guests I already knew, but it doesnāt seem like sheās bringing on people because of their popularity. She clearly brings them on because of the value they bring to her and her audience.

Returning Listener! Wonderful growth
I followed Amanda from Insecure, and followed Issa from YouTube. Iām a fan of Amandaās comedy. She lost me a bit during the pandemic with a focus on astrology and mysticism. Anyway, Iām back. I work from home and love podcasts. Iām proud of Amanda. Sheās grown as a host and interviewer. Itās inspiring. Keep up the great work and content!
