Harrumphing
This was another great episode. Kimberly was back, and once again you were all there to give your nuanced takes on the crazy goings on in our country. Joyce calling out the NY judges for harrumphing over having to do their jobs gave me a good laugh!

POV
This is the first episode that I almost turned off. What are you thinking, Barb? Gavin Newsom is trolling Trump. Trump is a danger to this country. People have to wake up and Democrats have to be encouraged to stand up to Trump. Are we supposed to just permit Republicans to grab five additional seats and keep their slim majority in the house? If Democrats do not take back the house, I fear for what’s going to happen to this country having Trumps additional three years. I hope this doesn’t offend your sensibilities, but quite frankly Trump offends mine.

Everything is Stupid
The women on this show seem completely out of touch with the realities of modern politics. It's infuriating to listen to them tie themselves in knots to scold Democrats about their strategies and tactics, especially when they're up against fascism.
I picture them in a Gilded Age-style sitting room, discussing politics as if it's a sport—a game that won't immediately affect their lives the way it already has for the rest of us.
Using their platform to foster discontent among Democratic and independent voters is irresponsible. They're scolding Gavin Newsom for tactics that are actually working to engage apathetic voters. Why shouldn’t Democrats adopt the same posture as Gavin if it’s working?
“I hate any kind of gerrymandering” No kidding!
The devil doesn't need more advocates.

Knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthy
Couldn’t disagree with you more on Newsom Barb. We already tried to “go high.” I learn something new every time I listen to Sisters in Law. They are all very likeable.
I feel like this
Top US law enforcement officer
The top law enforcement officer is the US AG. The President insurers that the laws are faithfully executed.

Trump vs DC
How can you discuss CNN interview with Doug Wilson and not discuss the influence of Christian Nationalism? Everything Hegseth pushes is based on the ideology of Christian Nationalism.

Great podcast!!!
Wow!!!!! I don’t know how you covered everything this week but you did it!!! Seriously, an extra beer for all of you. I listen every week and am amazed by your knowledge of the law. You all have a gift for teaching as well. (As a teacher I can spot great teachers). You all are an inspiration during these dark times. Keep up the fabulous work!

Good when they talk rather than sell
The podcast is generally quite good, but on the latest podcast, it was 8:53 into the program, after selling merch, talking about beaches and selling tuna, that the podcast discussion finally got started. Really guys?

Love the podcast BUT
The last 5 episodes continue to be “temporarily unavailable” week after week and the issue does not resolve. I have used all the tips to correct, but nothing works. The problem is also happening with this podcast on Amazon. I miss listening to these ladies—brilliant.

Found a product for scared dogs
I give my dog CBdistiilary dog treats for when my pup is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. Works great! Kimberly. Try it on Snickers. Love the show!
Love Michael NY
Jill
Jill, it really distracts from the show when you can’t pronounce common words correctly. A couple of example examples are you mispronounce paramount. And you mispronounce council. There are letter “U’s” in these words. Use them.

Love the sistas
I have learned so much and continue to learn every time I listen to Sisters-In-Law. They make this crazy time bearable. Wish they would come in person to California so I can go to their show.. Thank you, each one of you for all you do to inform us and giving us honest truth in this crazy time!

I’m a massive fan of your show
So grateful to the 4 of you for keeping us so well informed from a legal perspective during these extreme troubling times especially in the USA. We stand together!!

Good but . . .
Love the show, admire the legal insight & opinions, annoyed by the increasing presence of ads.

Truth and Insights
These ladies tell it like it is without prejudice, educating us about the law and providing insights and history. Much appreciated when I just want the facts.

Texas 1st Amendment discussion
Much appreciate Kimberly’s conclusion on 1st Amendment erosion by this Court. It’s pernicious and the continuing carve-outs are very worrisome. Death by a thousand cuts as the Republic slips away. Thanks to Jill as well for her re-consideration.

Sisters in Greed?
This used to be one of if not my favorite podcasts. But they’ve gone from ads comparable to other podcasts to a ridiculous number that overtakes and cheapens the podcast. And that’s not including the amount of time they spend trying to hawk their merch. Minimum eight and up to ten minutes of inane banter of show advertising start each show. More ads in the middle (not just a single middle ad break, multiple breaks for ads). And more schilling at the end. So you’re basically skipping a huge beginning chunk, more chunks in the middle and forget the end — you’re left with little podcast. It has cheapened the pod and for me taken it from I couldn’t wait for the next episode to I now only listen if bored and can not just listen but be ready to constantly fast forward skip over the ads. Also one of them has an ear piercing cackle that I’m surprised a producer still hasn’t told her to reel in.

the ads are really annoying
This would be a good podcast if the Sisters didn't do so many testimonials for products that are sponsoring them. I automatically write off the first 9-10 minutes of each podcast (ads and stupid chit-chat), and then have to fast-forward through several more ads during the hour. It seems to have gotten worse over time. I refuse to buy any of those products.
The basic premise of the podcast is good, and I still listen sometimes for their insights about what is happening on the legal front during these unsettling times, but lately I've found myself choosing to listen to other legal experts, who aren't so cutesy, covering the same topics.

Fabulous Four!
Thank you all for providing a measured, intelligent and insightful analysis of current legal issues. You all unpack the procedural aspects of Federal cases and quickly get to the salient facts and laws and then apply that to how a potential outcome would affect every day life. Your personal professional experiences add great value to the conversation. If only the Fab Four were the Scotus four, what a better and fairer world we would have.

Top five fave
One of the things I love most about the legal analysis is their multiple points of view. They don't always agree with each other and easily manage that dynamic. Which is so important in this age of “one point of view to rule them all.”

My favorite!
I love how the “Sisters” make highly complex legal issues understandable to a non-lawyer. I also appreciate that they all come from a different vantage point.

LOVE this podcast!
I never miss an episode! Their legal analysis is top notch and I love how they pull no punches in their description of the ‘disaster’ that is the current administration!! Straight forward reporting….’just the facts ma’am!!!!’

Brilliant analysis, interminable ads
I never miss an episode for their top notch legal analysis. The ads, however, are endless. I can’t skip through them fast enough.

I learn so much about constitutional law by listening to this podcast. The addition of personal details is endearing. Sponsorships are necessary for media coverage. The products you’re endorsing are things I would definitely consider purchasing. I’m headed to FastGrowingTrees.com right now. I’ve been killing plants for 30 years. I’m hoping guidance will change my luck. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom.

Trusted Analysis of Law
I love the style of their analysis, asking each other in interview form. They are always explaining the recent court and law news. I am not an attorney so I appreciate they make it easy for me to understand. Check it out soon!

Law analysis good: shilling cringeworthy
Some good analysis but having to wade through the cringeworthy shilling for their advertising sponsors is almost a dealbreaker

My News Source
This podcast helps me make sense of the legalese being bandied about in the press. Love their fierce commitment to intellectual discourse and helping the non lawyers better understand the seemingly hourly court and legal cases happening in the country.

Mini law classes
Love this show. I don’t miss it. As a legal buff I find it interesting and entertaining. Each of the ladies bring their own perspectives and backgrounds to a complete understanding of what’s going on for the week, and how they see it legally. I have been a huge fan since I began following the show and it is my weekend listen.

Question
Did the Constitution’s authors prescribe a legitimate way for American Citizens to petition or force an interim election or “show of faith” ? If they didn’t because they thought the separation of the 3 estates insured well meaning elected leaders, is all we have is impeachment proceedings? I picture Sisyphus struggling with the boulder….

Even Better in the ReSisTance
I always found your podcast informative, but sometimes felt frustrated as I felt you were too “measured” in your responses to the craziness of Judge Cannon and the lawless decisions of the Supreme Court. But now that Trump tyranny is here and it’s real, I feel that you have stepped up to meet the moment. Keep inspiring us with truth and calls to action. Thank you.

LGBTQIA ignorance
Queer people are under attack in this country and the Sisters coverage is unacceptably ignorant. Their reports on trans legal issues are riddled with common misconceptions that shows how little care and understanding they have for the community. For instance, they use dated language (gender “confirmation” and “transsexual”) and said that only trans folks seek gender affirming care when in fact cis people use more gender affirming surgeries and hormone treatments than trans people. Literally cannot listen to them anymore.

Keeping In The Know
There’s so much political drama and side stepping of what’s really going on that comes directly from POTUS and his minions. I wish these girls were on daily as their ability to help me easily understand why things are happening the way they are is phenomenal.
I believe, to make and see change, we all need to know how politics work and everyone in this podcast, has the experience, knowledge and education to help me understand political changes.
I know you would love them and become a devoted listener just like me. Thanks for all you do.

It’s Become a Staple
My Saturday mornings are dog walking while listening to the latest show. It’s become a routine in my life. I appreciate their analysis of the intersection of politics and law. I find them all to be well researched and objective, Barb being the most objective in my opinion. The balance of perspective among the four is perfect and thought provoking. Thank you.
