The best!
Love your pod always but the Gaby Sabatini episode was SOO great! Thank you!

Constant Player Worship
I grew up a huge Andy Roddick fan, and I was really excited to listen to this podcast. But honestly, every episode is the same exhausting repetitive narrative. Every episode turns into a defense of every player against any criticism. He constantly explains how great they all are and why we should appreciate them more.
Most listeners are actual tennis fans who already respect the players and the grind. We don’t need nonstop advocacy. What we want is honest, down-to-earth insight and analysis from a former top player—not a constant defense of how good everyone is.
Tone down the worship and give us real thoughts. Right now it feels more like PR than a podcast.

Nice on the 5 Guys Mr. Wertheim! Well-played subtle humor.
Hola todos!
Please stop talking about pickleball
Congratulations on the rapid success of the show. I’ve been a listener since the beginning and it’s awesome but please please please stop talking about Pickleball. There are plenty of places for people to go if that’s what they wanna listen to, but let’s please keep this as a Tennis show.

That’s the best interview I’ve ever heard!!! He is funny and serious at the same time. He should do seminars with parents and students that people pay for!!

Love the show, but…
I really do enjoy this show more than any other tennis podcast out there, but for crying out loud, stop putting spoilers in your titles! It’s less than 24 hours after Alcaraz won the AO & I haven’t had time to watch the replay yet. You guys spoiled the entire AO in this way.

The Virus…
… has NO class. None. Zero. Zip. Nada.
How many human beings did The Virus help to slaughter during COVID? Hundreds Thousands? Tens of thousands? The Virus is pure selfishness and greed. Nothing more.

Good except for producer Mike
This show is great except for producer Mike who seems to be taking up more and more airspace. He’s seems like a nice guy, but he talks way too much for someone who admittedly knows little about tennis and has nothing to add (beyond parroting whatever Andy says). It’s incredibly grating and listening to him feels like a waste of time. I tune in to hear insight from professionals like Andy and Jon, not to listen to a guy who started watching tennis 2 years ago opine for half the episode. Andy has a strong enough voice to carry the episode without needing a yes man to echo his every word. Stick to the producer role and stop chiming in.

Incredible Show
This show is great every week, but I especially enjoy it during grand slams!

You’re Wrong!
From a fan’s perspective we have no problem with 10 Day 1000s. If we want to attend Indian Wells or Rome it gives us more sessions to choose from plus it gives the players more days off reducing risk of injury. From whiny journalist’s’ perspective they want the extra days off because covering tennis for a living is way harder than being a miner or inner city school teacher or sitting at a computer all day.

Remarkable show, but Wertheim needs to go
Andy takes this role seriously, providing top tier tennis analysis, personal anecdotes of life on tour, and interview access that you literally cannot get anywhere else. It is a tennis podcast first, not a wannabe comedy hour. There was a massive hole in the podcast world for rabid tennis fans, Served has filled it.
However, Jon Wertheim brings the show down with repetitive weird puns, predictable player favoritism, and a truly evident lack of real tennis experience. I cannot listen to this guy, I’ve got to turn it off. This really makes it hard for me to be a loyal listener. Please team up with someone else! Chris Eubanks should be a regular.

WTA Focus is unparalleled
Andy, Jon and Mike offer honest, insightful analysis and foresight to pro tennis. Great collab with techie Sean and socials Sophie. Deep gratitude for your focus and attention on the WTA, very few do this(especially when it's a bunch of dudes talking tennis!) You are setting an admirable standard for this sport with inclusion and honesty for tennis and other sports industry. Keep the great pods coming!!

Great Tennis Podcast, but need to remove someone
Really enjoy the podcast Andy and Jon Wertheim, great insight and knowledge. You guys need to remove Producer Mike, he add 0 value sadly. All he does is repeat Andy’s insight. Andy says season is too long, Mike says oh yea… Andy comments something producer Mike repeats and even repeats Andy’s sarcasm or jokes. Keep it two or find a third person with a lot of tennis or even sports knowledge

Playing it safe
Love Andy Roddick’s takes. He is intelligent, insightful and his analysis of matches and tournaments are great. Great guests too!
However, this podcast plays it too safe. At some point wrong is wrong guys…I’m sorry but when you talk about Zverev you have to acknowledge that he has had two harassment cases against him. No, we cannot give him the laurels that his skill and talent warrant because of that. Athletes are role models to so many people and you have to think about what message you are putting out there by not calling it out.
I think these guys worry about maintaining their relationships within the sport and are too afraid to call people out. Don’t play it safe guys - you will have a better show.

Jon Wertheim (JW) is ruining the pod!
I’m a huge fan of this podcast and an even bigger Andy Roddick fan! That said, I really think Jon Wertheim (JW) is bringing the show down. He’s never been a player, his humor doesn’t land, and ever since his comments about Barbora, it’s been hard to take his criticism of players like Rybakina or Anisimova seriously. Andy, if you ever see this please know a lot of us tennis fans feel like JW is ruining what could be an amazing podcast.

Learning so much, laughing along the way
I thought I knew a lot about tennis, having played as a junior and following along with the ATP and WTA tours for 30+ years. This podcast has taught me so much in the last year about professional tennis and the sport in general; it has completely changed the way I view it all. I’m a more informed fan of the game and have a much deeper appreciation for these players. I love the storytelling episodes, the live draw shows, the five setters, everything. Please drop more episodes per week whenever possible!

The best!
I’ve always thought Andy should be a commentator on the tennis world even when he was still playing professionally. From watching his insane and fun lightning serve and power game and sense of humor on the court, to now his very astute assessments of games, players, and the game as a whole is a treat. He does it with an insider’s understanding and respect for the game and is always honest and usually quick witted. Love it. Thank you Andy for finally doing this and sharing your insights!

More storytelling content
My absolute favorite podcast. I love Andy’s perspective sharing on all things tennis. We want to see more storytelling to include all the interesting details of pay structure, coaching dynamics, training process, tournament structure, and all the latest drama on the tennis scene

Love this podcast, always thought Andy has a great sense of humor. He was the reason I switched to tennis in 2003 and then I became a Federer fan. I did always want Andy to win when they played.

Fantastic interviews, confused by the role of the producer
Really enjoy this podcast, especially the thoughtful and in-depth interviews! The one thing that always puzzles me is why Producer Mike is spotlighted so much as a speaker on this since I don’t find his commentary to add much value other than the schtick between him and Andy.
I’d rather focus on conversations between people who really know tennis so I fast forward through his bits, but maybe that’s just me.

Andy is a whiner
Always thought he was an interesting interview and rooted for him as a player, but every time he says "I'm gonna get in trouble for saying this" or something along those lines because two or three people might criticize him on Twitter, it makes him sound like an insufferable baby.
You're a millionaire who instantly got a popular podcast because you played well. You also get tons of TV spots because you're a handsome, popular American former player. People see your face and you got a bunch of five star reviews – do you think if you were an average looking mid-level player or media member with the same analysis that you would instantly be so popular? Of course not. You can deal with occasionally being criticized by a few people on Twitter without whining about it.

Tennis is fun again!
I played countless hours of tennis in high school but grew bored over the past 30 years. This podcast is changing that. The hosts—especially Andy—offer real, respectful, and smart commentary of a caliber I’ve never heard before. They present it in a humble, intelligent way that makes you rethink the game. Even more, their insights shed deep light on strategy—reminding me why I loved tennis in the first place.

One of the best XO, in depth interviews of a storied, controversial, competitive, complex competitors in our sport. Great job! Avid listener. Only podcast I listen to.

Finally! The Tennis podcast for younger generations.
First off, I’m in my 60’s. I have watched tennis since the 80’s. Even I am so tired of old fashioned tennis broadcasts/podcasts. Tennis needs the voices of the younger (than me) generation. Andy is it. I have learned more about tennis since listening to this podcast than I have in the decades of tennis I’ve watched. Thank you Andy, Mike, Techy Shaun, Sophie and Kim for all your hard work. It shows. I look forward to new episodes every week.

Tennis nerds unite
Andy was a childhood hero of mine growing up! It’s been so fun to have him return with this wonderful offering. He is a great podcast host. Thoughtful, insightful, fair minded and funny. Jon Wertheim and Andy and other hosts have great chemistry. Always a great listen and adds value to my life and tennis fandom.

You folks are just great…
Not sure how much more I can really say. Andy understands this sport inside and out, and his cohosts bring a wider perspective. You don't pull any punches. You admit it when you were wrong. It's all good. Don't change anything. You're doing something special here. Thanks for all your hard work. PS June 18, 2025: First, to all of the hosts on the show: you folks make a fantastic team… You dive deeply into the X's and O's of this wonderful sport, and you clearly know what you're talking about...and somehow make it wonderfully entertaining with just the right amount of humor thrown in at the same time. There's a magic in what you have created that I can't describe. Well done! To Andy: I don't know how much education/background/rehearsal time you put in to prepare to create this podcast. Doesn't matter to me if you have a PhD in communications and acting, or whether you started this podcast on the fly. You were born to do this… I hear it in every show that I listen to… Hosting this podcast is in your DNA. As I said above, don't change anything... the show is fantastic! Congratulations on creating this wonderful podcast! I hope doing this podcast brings you joy, and I hope you do it for a very, very long time to come. My sincere thanks to everyone who makes this show possible. *** update August 8, 2025. *** this podcast is just pure gold… Platinum… Diamonds… Whatever! You get the technical details of tennis from people who understand the most subtle aspects of the game. You get the politics of the people who run and own the tournaments. You get the struggles of the players who are dealing with being overworked… You get it all! And you get it with humor, brutal honesty, and from people who are willing to admit when they have made a mistake and were wrong. GOLD I SAY!!

Favorite tennis podcast!
Love this show! Andy Roddick somehow exudes the infectious joy, curiosity, and respect typically seen in die hard fans of the sport yet from the perspective of a former MAJOR player. Best tennis podcast out there.

The best listen
Listening to Andy Roddick talk about tennis cures my daily feelings of existential dread. After playing tennis all through college I have now, 15 years post-graduation, started watching it fairly religiously and I credit a lot of that to this podcast. The banter between all the hosts, the analysis of the players and the game, Andy’s insane knowledge of the history of the sport— all of it adds up to an informative and entertaining listen. I feel like I’m able to better appreciate all that I’m watching during each tournament thanks to listening to this podcast, and the daily updates during majors are super clutch (I get good insight and analysis on the matches that I watched and caught up on everything else that I missed!). At a time when most media (the world??) is a negative doom spiral, this podcast is full of interesting, positive, and genuine commentary that sends dopamine straight through my ear holes into my brain. Thank you!

Agree with Sally Jenkins here … get Andy in the booth!
Contrast that verbal gunk with Roddick’s sharply observant podcast, “Quick Served,” which is a terrific blend of technical talk and frank-mouthed irreverence. It’s the place to go if you want a connoisseur’s discussion of the Roger Federer slice vs. the more “floatie chip” of Steffi Graf, or a breakdown of Carlos “Chucky” Alcaraz’s breadth of shots. “He’s spoiled for choice,” Roddick observed. “His only issue is how to beat you. He can beat you four different ways. And it’s, ‘What is the most effective version of myself for this match?’”

Smart, incite and fun
Andy - you are so smart and articulate. Love your knowledge, articulation and fun. Calling out Kartal for her buttoned up outfit at Wimbledon is just fun, accurate portrait and just kind to the women’s game and to her. Will keep listening. By the way - I am still very bummed about that Wimbledon final that was yours. Up there with one of the biggest painful losses for true fans.

Andy opens a door to what the tour schedule is like, what a management team does for a player and hosts some of the best players to get their thoughts! His honesty, humor and analysis combined make me come back weekly!

Extra insight behind the scenes
To be completely honest I didn’t watch/play tennis before my Gram turned 95 (7 yrs ago… she credits tennis for her longevity). Now as her daily companion/“lady in waiting”we watch tennis all the time. I absolutely Love ‘Served’ & Andy’s POV. It’s great to bring deeper insights to Gram like how Rolland Garros eats your sneakers, the walk to Wimbledon as well as player breakdowns. It rounds out just watching & gives Gram more relevant topics to think & talk about. We love it, keep it coming.

Love this show and its passion
I just left a review (but I’m not great with technology) but I don’t see it yet (maybe it has to be reviewed) but I dig this show and its tennis nerdom so much it deserves 2 5 star reviews! Thanks to you, Jon, Mike, Sean/Shawn?? And everyone involved!

Good podcast
Thanks for creating this podcast. Very important for us tennis fans. We don’t always have a chance to watch hours and hours of tennis coverage on tennis channel. So it’s nice to be able to hear some updates and see what’s going on the ATP tour.

We’re so lucky
Out of all retired players that could start a Tennis podcast we get Andy motha freaking Roddick. I would’ve never guessed that he could speak so eloquently and descriptive about tennis. It’s hard to describe but his personality and words carry the pod so easily. I like nothing major pod too but those 3-4 former pros combined don’t equal Andy. Nothing major sounds a little bland even with 4 people. Andy simply has a gift besides his 150 mph serve.

Found your mojo
Goodonya Andy. Your a good host. I was there in the lounge. Friend of the bros, when Roger walked in and said “Hi Andy” you looked like all the air got sucked out of the room. I left after the Nole fedex match. I missed the part about the shoes. Anyway….congrats on your success with your “side hustle” I’m a fan.

Fun show, corny tag-phrases notwithstanding…
Andy, I’ve been a fan for quite some time and I enjoy listening to the show for the authentic perspective offered- just a word to the wise: cheesy tag phrases have to go- producer Mike, you should be on this- stuff like sinner, chicken dinner, let ‘er rip tater chip are 100% cringe- this stuff has to go- I guess I can’t claim to speak for other listeners, but it’s gotta go… (producer Mike- easy on the pompous tone- dial it back, it’ll make for a better show)
