Insightful commentary
Andy provides great insightful analysis and has a great list of guests. Some of the biggest names in tennis. Keep up the great work. Loved the Iga interview.

Favorite tennis podcast!
Love this show! Andy Roddick somehow exudes the infectious joy, curiosity, and respect typically seen in die hard fans of the sport yet from the perspective of a former MAJOR player. Best tennis podcast out there.

The best listen
Listening to Andy Roddick talk about tennis cures my daily feelings of existential dread. After playing tennis all through college I have now, 15 years post-graduation, started watching it fairly religiously and I credit a lot of that to this podcast. The banter between all the hosts, the analysis of the players and the game, Andy’s insane knowledge of the history of the sport— all of it adds up to an informative and entertaining listen. I feel like I’m able to better appreciate all that I’m watching during each tournament thanks to listening to this podcast, and the daily updates during majors are super clutch (I get good insight and analysis on the matches that I watched and caught up on everything else that I missed!). At a time when most media (the world??) is a negative doom spiral, this podcast is full of interesting, positive, and genuine commentary that sends dopamine straight through my ear holes into my brain. Thank you!

Agree with Sally Jenkins here … get Andy in the booth!
Contrast that verbal gunk with Roddick’s sharply observant podcast, “Quick Served,” which is a terrific blend of technical talk and frank-mouthed irreverence. It’s the place to go if you want a connoisseur’s discussion of the Roger Federer slice vs. the more “floatie chip” of Steffi Graf, or a breakdown of Carlos “Chucky” Alcaraz’s breadth of shots. “He’s spoiled for choice,” Roddick observed. “His only issue is how to beat you. He can beat you four different ways. And it’s, ‘What is the most effective version of myself for this match?’”

Smart, incite and fun
Andy - you are so smart and articulate. Love your knowledge, articulation and fun. Calling out Kartal for her buttoned up outfit at Wimbledon is just fun, accurate portrait and just kind to the women’s game and to her. Will keep listening. By the way - I am still very bummed about that Wimbledon final that was yours. Up there with one of the biggest painful losses for true fans.

Learning So much!
Andy opens a door to what the tour schedule is like, what a management team does for a player and hosts some of the best players to get their thoughts! His honesty, humor and analysis combined make me come back weekly!

Andy is hilarious!
His take on everything is so original and insightful!!

You folks are just great…
Not sure how much more I can really say. Andy understands this sport inside and out, and his cohosts bring a wider perspective. You don't pull any punches. You admit it when you were wrong. It's all good. Don't change anything. You're doing something special here. Thanks for all your hard work. PS June 18, 2025: First, to all of the hosts on the show: you folks make a fantastic team… You dive deeply into the X's and O's of this wonderful sport, and you clearly know what you're talking about...and somehow make it wonderfully entertaining with just the right amount of humor thrown in at the same time. There's a magic in what you have created that I can't describe. Well done! To Andy: I don't know how much education/background/rehearsal time you put in to prepare to create this podcast. Doesn't matter to me if you have a PhD in communications and acting, or whether you started this podcast on the fly. You were born to do this… I hear it in every show that I listen to… Hosting this podcast is in your DNA. As I said above, don't change anything... the show is fantastic! Congratulations on creating this wonderful podcast! I hope doing this podcast brings you joy, and I hope you do it for a very, very long time to come. My sincere thanks to everyone who makes this show possible.

Extra insight behind the scenes
To be completely honest I didn’t watch/play tennis before my Gram turned 95 (7 yrs ago… she credits tennis for her longevity). Now as her daily companion/“lady in waiting”we watch tennis all the time. I absolutely Love ‘Served’ & Andy’s POV. It’s great to bring deeper insights to Gram like how Rolland Garros eats your sneakers, the walk to Wimbledon as well as player breakdowns. It rounds out just watching & gives Gram more relevant topics to think & talk about. We love it, keep it coming.

Love this show and its passion
I just left a review (but I’m not great with technology) but I don’t see it yet (maybe it has to be reviewed) but I dig this show and its tennis nerdom so much it deserves 2 5 star reviews! Thanks to you, Jon, Mike, Sean/Shawn?? And everyone involved!

Good podcast
Thanks for creating this podcast. Very important for us tennis fans. We don’t always have a chance to watch hours and hours of tennis coverage on tennis channel. So it’s nice to be able to hear some updates and see what’s going on the ATP tour.

We’re so lucky
Out of all retired players that could start a Tennis podcast we get Andy motha freaking Roddick. I would’ve never guessed that he could speak so eloquently and descriptive about tennis. It’s hard to describe but his personality and words carry the pod so easily. I like nothing major pod too but those 3-4 former pros combined don’t equal Andy. Nothing major sounds a little bland even with 4 people. Andy simply has a gift besides his 150 mph serve.

Tennis is blessed to have Andy and his team share fantastic views and opinions.
I was a huge fan of Andy’s game and a lot was about how he carried himself . He continues to do the same with this podcast. Well Done! ) now send me few socks …….kidding )

Tennis nerds unite
Andy was a childhood hero of mine growing up! It’s been so fun to have him return with this wonderful offering. He is a great podcast host. Thoughtful, insightful, fair minded and funny. Jon Wetheim and Andy and other hosts also have good chemistry. Always a good listen and adds value to my life and tennis fandom.

Found your mojo
Goodonya Andy. Your a good host. I was there in the lounge. Friend of the bros, when Roger walked in and said “Hi Andy” you looked like all the air got sucked out of the room. I left after the Nole fedex match. I missed the part about the shoes. Anyway….congrats on your success with your “side hustle” I’m a fan.

Hola todos!

Good podcast. Like listening and I know people proabably dont like hearing xs and os but i do like it. Wish you guys could do that more but of course you have to get more views.

Fun show, corny tag-phrases notwithstanding…
Andy, I’ve been a fan for quite some time and I enjoy listening to the show for the authentic perspective offered- just a word to the wise: cheesy tag phrases have to go- producer Mike, you should be on this- stuff like sinner, chicken dinner, let ‘er rip tater chip are 100% cringe- this stuff has to go- I guess I can’t claim to speak for other listeners, but it’s gotta go… (producer Mike- easy on the pompous tone- dial it back, it’ll make for a better show)

Brene Brown
I love your podcast, heard every episode, have always loved you as a player. To hear Brene speak to you and see you... and truly understand your mindset and thoughts, was an absolute joy.
I do also like that she called your self deprecation out, in the most perfect way. ;)

More Love All Episodes
I’ve been a listener from the beginning and I’ve enjoyed the insights Andy gives to how all the tennis associations function and how that impacts player experiences. The episode with Kim and Sophie was a welcomed surprise addition. I haven’t found any podcasts or platforms that give us the stories of the players “as people” and certainly less so for the WTA players. We almost never hear from players in this way unless it’s a heavily edited Netflix doc. I’d listen to a separate podcast just about this.

Fantastic! Been an Andy fan for 20+ years
I absolutely love this podcast. Andy is funny and insightful and I appreciate his candid views on the current game of tennis. I met Andy once in Cincinnati many years ago (‘04?). We are of a similar age and he was incredibly kind to me and the 20 kids asking for his autograph. He had a fan for life at that moment! Keep ‘em going!

Best tennis pod!
Love, love, love your pod. Former tennis player but now I listen every week on my way to pickleball 😂. Attended the Asheville event which was phenomenal! Would love your thoughts on why doubles does so well in pb but not tennis. BTW, someone should tell Brenee Brown that the world #1 female pickleball champion player wears fila!

Great Show
Andy is a great host- able to get into the weeds of tennis strategy but also see the big picture. I think he pulls the best out of his guests.
JW is also an awesome add and always has thoughtful things to say.
Last shoutout goes to Producer Mike, who isn’t a tennis expert by trade, but that actually brings a very valuable set of “layman” questions that make the pod approachable to non experts.
I think Kim C is very smart and obviously has an extensive resume to be an expert in her realm but is not as natural in expressing her thoughts in a concise manner and tends to ramble a bit. I would appreciate more female perspectives though!

Best Tennis Podcast
Been a listener since day one, and I am always informed and entertained, never disappointed by your podcasts. Keep up the exceptional work! ❤️. One topic that you or someone might be able to shed light on in the future would be the poor quality of the live closed captioning on the Tennis Channel. I worked in the closed captioning of live events and transcription for many years. While I'm not hearing impaired, I will usually watch programs with the captions on. If I needed the words to understand what was being said about the matches, I sure would be out of luck. At least program it to get the players' names spelled correctly, e.g., Swiatek was recently captioned as Sian Tek. And because of placement, captions left hanging or not blanked from the screen during a point often obstruct viewing of the play. Thanks for letting me vent a little and thanks again for creating Served!

Great podcast
Been listening from the start - congrats to the whole team for hitting a year on the airwaves. Love the eps with the staff from US Open and other tournaments - the peak behind the scenes is super interesting for we tennis nerds.
The Kim/Social Sophie ep was great - would love to keep hearing these two together. Hearing different players perspectives is awesome - keep em coming.

Better before sponsors etc.
Loved it in the beginning. Tennis nerdom at its finest. Andy can break down a match and tactics etc like NOBODY ELSE! He’s the best in pure tennis !
But- Has some episodes that are now kind of become more banal “lowest common denominator “ tennis podcast for NPC tennis “fans”. Will still listen because Andy is great. So is John. But the other side characters are uninteresting and don’t add anything to the tennis IQ of the show. ugh! i don’t want to hear fem journalism. Also live shows can go sideways and be uninteresting. I appreciate that it’s Andy’s vision though.

Fave tennis podcast
The money episode was fascinating! Would love more like this,?all those details. Like a day in the life when you're in a grand slam. First round vs a final, what's the day after look like etc? How do you recover from a 3 hour/3 set match vs 1.5 hour match?
Really enjoyed the quick daily shows from AO, you need to grab Madi!

Best tennis podcast hands down
I spent a week at the Australian open and couldn’t wait for Andy’s analysis, it’s fun and very entertaining all the other tennis podcasts blow they’re so dry and boring

Better than most but not the best
Roddick has a great insider’s view & that brings an interesting slant. The shows when Jon Wertheim is on are the better ones because they can have a conversation. Roddick spends too much time in each episode manufacturing oppositional arguments against whatever point he’s making & then rebutting them at length. He seems obsessed with what people will say on social media about what he says. The show definitely trends a little bro-y so if that’s your thing, this is for you. My fave show is The Tennis Podcast, which I always listen to.

Awesome stuff
To Andy and the team at Served—
I have been listening since day one and I love this product you are putting out into the universe. Andy your balance of reverence and irreverence for the things that matter strike a cord with this tennis fan. Jon your sports journalism expertise I love so much and the obvious rapport and teamwork that you are all building together is apparent. Andy I watched you on the court ( we are similar in age) and I so appreciate your tennis expertise and commentary on the tennis being played today. Sorry it took me so long to write a review! Keep it coming!
PS I love the Quick Serve editions during the Grand Slam events. Such an excellent idea that surpasses the tennis podcasts that are out there.

Hitting Your Stride
Last year, the show became a quality option in the tennis podcast space, which really lacked one. But they’ve really found the perfect formula with Quick Served. JW serving as Master of Summaries when there is way too much going on early, the re-draw show to reset our minds (although 1 more group show wouldn’t hurt) and then Andy’s deep expertise on the nitty gritty of the final matches. They absolutely struck gold for the majors to go with a really good week to week show.

Game, Set, Listen
One of the highlights of my workday commute is listening to Andy, John W, and Producer Mike (where is Social Sophie???) break down the latest matches and news in the tennis world. They bring a refreshing mix of deep expertise and contagious enthusiasm that makes every episode feel like you're chatting with knowledgeable friends who just get it (who else was rooting for Keys super hard to see John’s prediction come true!). They are able to break down complex matches and player dynamics in a way that’s both accessible and fascinating, without alienating the chuckers like me! The show is the perfect balance of education, entertainment, and real-world stories, making it a must-listen for anyone who truly appreciates the sport. And you might even glean some pro tips to up your game!

This is an absolutely excellent podcast. It’s exciting and entertaining and enjoyable, and it’s with the tennis, guaranteed to be enjoyed and therefore it’s a lot of fun and I want to say just starting the podcast is pretty great and soon when finishing all 84 episodes, it’s going to be pretty excellent, this is the discussion that’s worth having in all more ways than.

Disappointed on disparity between ATP & WTA info
Can you get a female co-host to cover WTA? Current hosts either skim over WTA or briefly touch on them before spending majority of episode on ATP. Disappointing.

Bullying
Great podcast…Andy and Jon are not afraid to discuss the truth..even though they know the bully will attack..Its’s the
Trump affect….
We live in a country where a bully who has a documented history of assault on women and routinely attacks anyone who dares question him gets elected President….
So no surprise that Kyrgios, who has pled guilty to domestic violence and blamed it on substance abuse thinks it’s ok to bully others - including a woman-
Nick shows not an ounce of empathy for others who have made mistakes that are not nearly as bad as his own. At least he owned it, unlike our President…
Posting and bullying on a kids instagram who experienced the thrill of hitting with the number one player is a desperate attempt for attention. He’s a kid..
Why and how is Nick good for the sport of tennis? The guy beat his girlfriend.. at least once..if he was an NfL or NBA player , he would be suspended forever… not glorified..
If he had been drug tested during his assault it would not have been melatonin or some remnants of a healing cream ..
Thank you Andy for standing up for the truth and addressing the problem with internet bullying.

End of year ATP REVIEW
Your end of year review seemed to be much more corporate than normal. Nothing negative on any of the top players. If i want this type of slanted journalism then I will just listen to the tennis channel. Come on Andy, tell us what a player needs to do to get better or if the player is lucky to be ranked as high as he, is tell us. Your lack of constructive criticism makes you seem like the new deal you signed is going to make this just another podcast I can skip.

Great show
I don’t normally leave reviews but this podcasts deserves a five star rating. Along with great insights on the players, tournament play and scheduling, what it takes to be a top ten player and common themes, the show takes us down some interesting rabbit holes - the science and technology behind tennis racquet construction was a thoroughly interesting side topic. Roddick and his sidekicks are respectful of the game and the players but also willing to call out weaknesses in players when it’s the right call. Thanks guys. I thought I knew tennis but after listening to you this year, I realize how superficial my knowledge and understanding has been.

Kim and Andy Are Great
It’s a great podcast. The best episodes by far are the ones with Kim Clijsters. She offers awesome insight, and you can tell she and Andy really get along famously. The more Kim the better going forward!!

Great podcast!
I look forward to this podcast every week and have learned so much about tennis and the tour by just listening. I am always forwarding the link to this podcast to my tennis friends - they love it and we love you Andy Roddick! You were my Moms favorite player and mine too and you do a great job analyzing the game and telling the tennis story. Great job!

Such a well balanced podcast. Andy and his team do a great job of covering this beloved sport from all perspectives, going deeper into topics at the forefront and behind the scenes of tennis.

WHERE is John ???
are you banning John too?? your show is NOT the same without him. i used to listen. very disappointed now. John apologized. Get over it, move on, and bring him BACK!!!

Why?
Andy is intelligent but the show just isn’t very good. Wertheim is just a waste. Why would anyone want to listen to someone with zero athleticism and zero perspective speak about tennis? Now Wertheim is insulting female players based on their appearance.

Amazing!
As a borderline tennis obsessed person, this podcast is what I need and love! The player insight is so intriguing and I look forward to it weekly!!
