I wish I could listen to all of these,but Caleb is nails on a chalkboard annoying. I now only listen when he isn’t there,or when it’s a movie I LOVE,& even then I can’t always make it through-he just comes off so obnoxious & thoughtless. Love Ash & Alaina🖤

I can't stand Caleb. I was listening to the "Hush" episode. Caleb is abelist. Even though he admitted he didn't know what it is like to be deaf, he then proceeeded to make several comments about the character and her decisions that were directly related to the fact she is DEAF. He also has no idea about trauma and trauma responses. And finally, constantly critcizing what a female character does to protect herself when he is a white dude and not likely to ever have to even consider these things. Love Ash and Alaina, will continue with Morbid but this is a total no-go for me.

Ash and Alaina are my girls from Morbid/ The Rewatcher and Caleb is my favorite also on the pod. Their banter has me almost or literally (oops) peeing in my pants at times, and I’ve watched several movies because of this podcast that I never thought to. Just wanted to show my love! I really would like to hear the Final Destination movies and newer horror movies. I look forward to listening to this podcast every other Tuesday!

I love Ash and Alaina. I listen to all their shows. I really tried to like this, but Caleb is such a wet blanket. I can’t. I just listened to Hush and the only time he interjects is with negativity and a lot of dawgs and cringey laughs. Lose the wet blanket girls, you don’t need him.

I really wanted to like this podcast but the constant giggling from the hosts makes it unbearable! I just couldn’t take it, it sounds like kindergarten chatter.

I listen to this podcast when I need a laugh. Most podcasts don’t make me actually laugh out loud, but this one does! I also think they do a good job of the high quality scary movies too (not just the lower quality ones). Love Ash and Alaina (both intelligent, kind souls with a great sense of humor) and I love Caleb too! I get your sense of humor dude and I think he brings a lot of fun and energy to the show that makes this show stand out. I always look forward to the next episode!

I’m with Alaina! Full disclosure: not only is this my first episode of listening to Scream! (said with vocal enthusiasm as it should be), but I haven’t even finished this episode yet before being compelled to write this review. 😄 This movie was very cerebral, and although it took me a while, I did begin to understand the concept of the mirror. For me, I saw it as the difference between how you see yourself and how other people see you. It was clear to me that there was an alternate distorted reality that he had created in his mind. It was very interesting to watch how his madness overtook him so he didn’t have to face the truth. The mental illness of it all was fascinating to me. I never watch directors’ explanations or interpretations of a movie, because it may take away from my own unique experience. I prefer to watch movies for MY personal enjoyment or dissatisfaction. I absolutely love your banter as you discuss (argue about 😉) the movie, as I love reviewing movies with my friends and family. Great podcast!

I love being able to hear about these movies without having to watch them, because I hate gore but love scary. I followed Ash & Alaina over here, but I quickly came to love Caleb as well. I don’t think people get his humor as easily as the other hosts, but I think he’s hilarious and I suspect he’s actually a really good person underneath the “obnoxious little brother” persona. The number of reviews with people complaining about his complaining unironically and with zero self-reflection makes me giggle. I really want them to cover the Elm Street series and I wish the episodes came out more often, so there are my complaints! Great job, y’all.

This is a good podcast if you hate horror movies. And hate people. And hate comedy. And your ears. And positivity. Avoid this one. There’s so many other better podcasts to listen to about these topics.

I gave this Pod a try and it just felt like they were reviewing a movie they watched but didn’t pay attention to, maybe I just picked a bad episode but the hosts kept going on tangents and giggling and it just made me uninterested.

The trio are great, honest, and you feel like you're sitting in the room with them. I haven't seen half the movies they reviewed, but it didn't stop me from having a good time. Unfortunately, I found out Wondery (their parent company) is owned by Amazon and I cannot continue in good conscience as a listener.

I already loved Alaina and Ash from Morbid. These three are absolutely hilarious together. Would love to hear them cover Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, one of my favorite horror satires.

Randomly stumbled upon this pod looking for someone to talk about “The Menu” and loved the dynamic. Then listened to 50 Shades episode and LOLed sooo hard! I wish they’d expand to more movies like that, for those of us who aren’t indie or mainstream horror fans and just appreciate the LOLs of making fun of something thats horrific in a different way like 50 Shades were. Please review Heretic, Blink Twice, Speak No Evil, Babygirl, Anora etc Also really appreciate all the random Housewives and Vanderpump references, the hosts are my people!

I really love this podcast. It’s been getting me through work, actually making me enjoy work a lot. I really wish yall would cover the movie “Ghost in the Machine” because that one was the scariest movie when I was a child! It would be so cool to hear yall review that movie! I see that there is negativity toward Caleb but honestly I really like him! He does so well with Ash and Alaina. The chemistry is on point and I actually prefer the episodes with all three of them! I love Alaina’s perspective on the movies, very smart and all three always have me dying laughing. Loved the review on “I’ve been waiting for you” and my husband and I watched it last night together so we could laugh about it. Fun fact - Sarah Chalke was also second Becky in the original Roseanne. I do want to mention something gently to Ash, as I too practice magick (have been off and on for many many years) and am very tied to Hecate because she’s my preferred deity. I sincerely hope you read this and don’t take this the wrong way, I mean this with absolute love - but the pronunciation for Hecate is Heh-Kuh-tee or Heh-kuh-tay, no emphasis on the kuh. Much love and keep pumping out the episodes! 💜

I love all three people that do this podcast love horror soup and morbid. Great combo. Alaina is hilarious. Caleb usually comes in with the old school movie knowledge and ash is new to horror movies but usually has a fresh take on things. Definitely my favorite podcast.

I’m so in love with this show, been here since episode 2! My only wish is that the episodes coming out were a bit more consistent. Also, I know you all are busy but I’m hoping one day this can be a weekly podcast! I enjoy the banter between all the hosts and I regularly laugh out loud while listening. First listened Ash and Alana on morbid. Got introduced to scream because I love horror. Love the commentary and the antics with Caleb over who is finding good movies, and who has the worst movie. My favorite thing is listening to the three of them debate a movie that undoubtedly Caleb does not like as much. Or that Caleb loves and Ash and Alana hate and so do I . sorry Caleb. It’s OK I still listen Caleb. You guys are amazing. Please don’t stop and I would appreciate more content regularly. 👻

I’ve been listening to Morbid and Rewatcher from the beginning…I love A&A. I was a little bummed that the format is exactly the same as the rewatcher. Just a recap of the movie. I’m always hoping for a deeper discussion of themes etc but it’s just a very fluffy show. Which is fine. But Caleb? Is insufferable. Wow. The first episode I downloaded was one with just A&A and I dug it but then the next had the other host and he’s an insufferable jerk. Bad choice Joyce

“The craft” episode got me hooked! I love “morbid” so I knew I’d like this too, but no, I love it! These girls are amazing!

I really love the dynamic between Ash, Alaina, and Caleb. Each host has a distinctly different personality, which makes it fun to hear everyone’s individual takes. The diverse personalities also mean a great variety of different types of horror as subject movies. My only wish is that you released more, or did some mini/bonus episodes once in a while!

Caleb they could never make me hate you. These reviews are all annoyed by you but not me. You’re so funny.

It feels like I’m watching horror movies with my best friends. I love them. I love when they hate each others movie picks even more.

Love the girls can’t stand the guy. Comes off pretentious know it all and mansplainy…. Like a douchey film bro. His picks are terrible and he rates any good film a 2 because he didn’t pick it. TCM gets a 3 because of some bad prosthetic teeth? K… I just don’t enjoy him his options his cadence his tone nothing. Take your niche film bro horror films and go somewhere else.

Where are you? This podcast has gotten so spotty. No new ep in nearly a month. And it’s spooky season. This pod is entertaining overall. I’ll listen to some eps on repeat. I think some B movies/indie movies are fine once in a while but the throwbacks and more well-known movies are what will keep me coming back to listen. Also wish there were more “Journey through the Genres” episodes. The two released were really interesting. They teased psychological horror a ton and never made an episode. There’s also a ton of inconsistency with what they say they’re going to cover and then never do or cover something else.

I followed the morbid ladies here, and although I strongly disagree with Caleb’s picks 80-88% of the time, I think that’s part of the fun. It’s a good mix of campy, cult, mainstream, and classic picks, so there’s something for most everyone, and the vibes are immaculate.

I am SUCH a big fan and am only saying this to help. I LOVE Morbid and The Rewatcher even more... so I will always listen to Ash and Alaina... but Caleb with the DUMB picks about birds and refrigerators... it ruins the podcast. Obvi like having Caleb but the dumb picks I totally skip. There are too many movies you can do.

Show could probably be good, but Alaina and Caleb cut Ash off constantly. Don’t have her on the show if you can’t let her contribute, especially on an episode that is a movie that she picked.

I tried to get into the first episode from morbid because I love Alaina but Caleb from the jump was always so negative and always making fun of an actors appearance. I thought Id give it another shot because I loved Alaina’s take on the movies. I choose to listen to the Happy Death Day episode and Caleb connected an actors skin breakout to HIV at the 12:35 mark. That’s when I had enough of him. Shame cause Alaina is great.

I really loved this podcast for the first year, but it went downhill so fast. Now it’s just an extension of horror soup, only doing b-horror movies no one has actually watched. I love b-horror as much as the next person, but it was way funnier when it was more commonly seen movies (The scream series was the boobs, why have they never covered scream 5 or 6?) A & A are more committed to their other podcasts , and Caleb has to be a cynic about the air he breaths. If I wanted to listen to misanthropy and crappy movie reviews, I would just listen to horror soup. 🤷‍♀️.
