Love it but…
Oftentimes Jeb Jr’s episodes have misleading titles. The content usually doesn’t match the hook title. Otherwise great podcast

Keeping it simple… it’s the motivation to know that what you’re digging and fighting for is the end goal and knowing it isn’t about what you did yesterday, it’s about what you’re doing tomorrow. Great listen and so many insights come from these podcasts. Highly recommend.

I started listening to Sales Gravy a few years ago as one of my foundational podcasts to listen to weekly. After a few episodes I realized quickly how impactful they are to incorporate into my everyday approach to leading and driving new business for our company. I fell in love with their techniques, tips, and knowledge so much that when we decided to embark on growing my team, I reached out to them about how they could support us as we look to bring on new sales team members and revisit how we have always approached sales and marketing as well as lean into their expertise about hiring the right candidate. When Jeb is giving advice, or covering topics you can tell just by his responses he is actually selling, not just telling people how to sell from afar. I haven’t come across one episode where I couldn’t take something and apply it to my world. Give it a listen!

This is my favorite sales podcast of the many sales podcasts out there. The reason is, Jeb keeps it real. He’s not glamorizing sales or chest beating about all the money he makes like so many annoying motivational speakers out there (cough cough Grant Cardone cough). It’s just straight talking advice, warts and all. I really appreciate that.

Great discussion and advice. It’s hard to focus because you guys are talking over each other, and when one guy is talking, the other guy is Yep right Yep right Yep right Yep right, umhmm, yep umhmmmm, yep and it’s really hard to focus on the content, especially when you listen at 1.5 speed . Never Listened, Buuuut…
I get absolutely BOMBARDED about this show on a string of podcasts and I am SO. SICK OF IT. I’m talking nearly back-to-back in the commercial breaks, EVERY SINGLE BREAK. There is only one copy version that I’ve heard, and the snippet from an episode isn’t even compelling. I couldn’t remember the name of the podcast, just the title of his book since THAT seems to be the first copy point over the podcast name. Therefore, when I searched for it, I originally found an episode to a different podcast. Considering the ad copy is weak for this ONE slot that follows me around no matter what I listen to, I do not trust anything this man says. GET OFF MY FEED!!!

Let Your Guests do the Talking
While the content is good, Jeb tends to run over his guests. During the Linked In episode, in January, he has guest on to discuss Linked In and she’s the expert. He is coaching her on how she should do her headline. Like, it’s ok to have an opinion, however, he literally ran right over her and this is what she does for a living.
I would have said, in the past, this is how I do it. How do you believe I can improve upon this? And let the woman speak.
I rarely write reviews, and this annoyed me to a large extent. Listening is such a core component and I feel like Jeb doesn’t give enough space. The sales concepts at times are good and worthwhile, and the delivery/execution tends to fall down.
For these reasons, I’m moving on. Read his book though.
