Respectfully I love purple daily. The question is why should we listen to Thor talk. He seemingly missed on JJ McCarthy compared to every other quarterback in his draft class, and it seems like he constantly regurgitates whatever anyone else says on the show in a wordier way. PS if we could get some more O-line committee that would be great. They know ball. They are good at explaining the team dynamics. Maybe it’s time for a play-calling change at purple daily. Let’s swap out Thor for one of the brilliant blokes on the O-line committee.

This is the best pod ever

I use to enjoy listening and following this show, even though I am a loyal Packer’s fan. However, this past summer the boys have completely gone over-the -top with their Vikings hometown takes and bias. Do you not remember last year’s playoff dumpster fire against the Rams….as well as McCarthy having NEVER played a single down in the regular season?? Maybe amnesia has set in, as Phil at the State Fair just proudly proclaimed the Vikings as making it to the NFC Championship Game. Really!?!? I am curious as to Phil’s logic - other than complete homerism taking over. Vegas clearly has the Vikings line set at finishing THIRD in the division…let alone making it the NFC Title Game. So if Phil TRULY believes in the Vikings that much, let’s see some betting vouchers before the season begins to back up these bold proclamations!?!?! Anyone can provide their crazy homer-based takes, but money talks if someone truly believes in what they are saying. Just Sayin.

Show leans more into entertainment and engagement bait than analysis. Listened for years, just can't do it anymore. Moved on to other podcasts where the hosts actually know about football.

I started listening because I wanted more football podcast content to listen to leading up to the 2025 draft. I find the hosts fun to listen to, knowledgeable, and fair minded. They don’t hate on the Packers as much as other rival sites. I think I will continue to listen when the draft is over because I find them highly entertaining and informative.

I’ve been an avid listener since the 2022 season. I have really appreciated and enjoyed the daily Vikings content. Until now. The show’s obsession with the Rodgers Flirtation has taken it into the Realm of Clickbait, and I’m at the point where I’ve hit pause on three different episodes this week before even getting to the halfway point. Stop burying the lead about the great free agency period we’ve had. Please move on!

Great content and fun seeing how the hot takes pan out. Also it makes it interesting to see which players go where when the free Agency is available by telling everything to the listener’s

I see the Purple Daily icon and think-ok, I need to fast forward through way too many commercials and I have to listen to that cheesehead Declin who seems like a good guy but I can’t stand his Packer biased Fake I love the Vikings takes. I enjoy the show! One of my favorite Vikings pods. Randy, however, is so cringey. It’s like listening to a drunk hillbilly talk about the Vikings.

Just wanted to state that I love listening to the podcast! But based off the game on Sunday, yeah we lost! But this is a good thing! Puts a bad taste in there mouth, learned a lot, don’t have being undefeated hanging on there heads and we get out of a really tough physical game with no major injuries!

I am a long time listener to a local Minnesota sports station and have found the need to find new Vikings content. I started listening to Purple Daily in the preseason and it has been great and what I have been missing this year. Keep up the great work!

I’ve been a Minnesota Vikings fan since 87 86! I was born in St. Paul Minnesota in 1979 but my family is from Peoria Illinois! I love what I hear from these guys about the Vikings! I lived in Minnesota my first 5 years back and forth! These guys know what they talking about and have inside information about the team! They give u details and in depth about the players and team and ownership! They keep it real from my vintage point! I’m a loyal listener for now and the Minnesota Twins locked on Minnesota so far so good

Purple daily is great Viking content, I enjoy listening to it here in the heart of Packer country!

This is the best site for your Viking information. Do they tend to be a little optimistic or even a little harsh about the Purple sure they do. But dude they are flat out the most realistic and well informed bar none. Five stars

Good podcast in season when there are games to talk about. Otherwise too much contrived content simply to fill time.

The amount of ads on this show is insane. This is a podcast, not network radio. Jeez! I listen to tons of casts and no other one plays this many ads. Now with that said, the guys are great, the content is great and I’m addicted to it. Thanks God for the skip forward button.

I love the show I listen to it daily. Great content, but you guys need to step up the production a little. Your voice volume is so low that it causes me to turn up the volume, and then when you cut to a commercial the commercial is blaring forcing me to turn the volume down as quick as possible. Then I have to turn it back up when you return from commercial. That’s my only complaint. SKOL!

Amazing source of Viking content throughout the year. The icing on the top is the content they provide during the off season. Being the Vikings are a smaller market team it’s not easy to get the latest day to day news from the larger national media outlets, so they’re a big help in navigating all the day to day updates during this time. Keep it up gang! SKOL!
