I love your show. Truth telling is at its center. It should contain advertising that isn’t promoting companies that ignore scams on their platforms. Please don’t allow Vrbo to advertise on your show. They happily took $1400 from me for a house rental that didn’t exist, and did not reimburse me or help find alternate accommodations. They do not provide proper support for untenable situations that arise. Their customer service base is designed to talk you through accepting your loss. They make empty promises and postpone action. I was only reimbursed when my credit card company investigated the situation and gave me back my money, which took months. In the meantime I had to purchase alternate accommodations just to continue my travels. Thanks for considering eliminating this company from your ad line up.

Hey guys, this is Gavin. Good interview with Shapiro. I really would not mind him for 2028. He would be probably my second pick to represent the democrats. I would probably pick Pete over him and that’s it. It’s very close though between Pete and Shapiro. What I like about Shapiro is that one he’s brash and two he’s more of a moderate. He also has energy to which the Democratic Party could use. If he is the nominee in 28 I think he wins. There are some democrats that possibly worry me about 2028 and I think if we nominate of them we have a better shot at losing than winning. I Shapiro is one of the smartest people in the party right now. I believe Pennsylvania is the only state in the Northeast with a growing economy. I got his book, but I have not read it yet. He’s got a little bit of Obama in him too. I think Pete does too. Shapiro sounds a little bit like Obama too. Shapiro can get those swing voters unlike some other candidates. Shapiro is one of the best candidates that the democrats have right now and they need someone who can win back working class voters. I like Harris but she struggled with that. I do not know if her, Newsom, Pritzker, and AOC would do as well with them. If Pete wants to be the nominee he’s going to need the black vote in order to go far. I would again still go with Pete over Shapiro for 28 but not by much. Shapiro needs to be talked about more for 2028 because I think he can make some noise. He will not be afraid to take on any of them whoever decides to run against him.

We hope presidents work and not communicate constantly. President Biden communicated sufficiently. Everyone needs to stay off Twitter.

Been listening since 2017 and they keep getting better

Far too much focus on optics, polling, strategy, etc. Pretty narrow focus on topical “news” issues at the expense of what matters in most people’s daily lives. Also, few speakers know how to enunciate properly or how to avoid ending every other sentence with “right?” Overall, mostly disappointing for left-leaning people who want more than the latest “take” on the most recent culture war skirmish or last stupid thing Trump did or said.

With regard to your end-of-show story about Trump’s buying shoes for his staff—Michael Wolff has reported that Epstein did something similar, asking their size and offering guests new shoes he had lying around his house. It strikes me as a disarming, out-of-left-field kind of manipulation, like, in the case of Epstein’s guests and victims, having a sponsor who pays your most private bills. The shoes are humiliating symbols of Trump’s ownership of these men.

I love the partnership with MSNOW in the one-hour recap! Thank you for bringing the weeks’s most important clips and conversations to a cable TV audience, like me. Your commentary is sharp and topics are relevant. One suggestion, a bit more visual polish - More studio makeup for our guys. They are all gorgeous, so let’s go with a little more studio makeup for skin tone under studio lights. Next, a little more lively background - add some bookshelves with important books, political art posters, or other set decor that you enjoy. That will lift the energy on screen. Looking forward to future episodes. Great work and so timely!

Not even worth one star. Completely biased reporting, I wish I had those 45 seconds I wasted watching this back.

Crooked media in general, and Pod Save America specifically, has been my primary news delivery service for the last many years. That is not to say I believe them blindly, but when I go off to do my own independent fact checking, it is clear that these guys know what they’re talking about. I think they could stand to be a bit more critical of Democrats, but generally, I feel like their critiques are pretty fair. And frankly, with the limited amount of hours per day we all have, I understand why they focus most of their energy on the republicans in news cycles as over saturated with Republican mess as these recent many. In an era of irresponsible media companies, these guys are pretty refreshing new source.

When asking listeners for reviews, don’t say “please consider leaving a review.” Just ask directly for the review. “Consider” doesn’t create a clear action, and clear actions are more effective. Also tell listeners that you’ll read one or two reviews on the show each week. That gives people a reason to leave one and helps motivate engagement.

Another update - Dan why do you seem so intolerant and judgy towards Favs? It’s really starting to show. Update - Thank you for keeping me (sorta) sane during this election cycle. As hard as it has been and will continue to be - knowing that you guys are out there, going through the same mix of emotions and giving voice to the thoughts in my head truly does help. If I didn’t have you guys validating the facts and realities of what we are facing, I might have been truly gaslit by now. You and your team have worked so hard to inform and activate people in an effort to avoid what is coming, this must be heartbreaking for you. I’m sorry. Please don’t stop. These are the guys you want to have a beer with, and, as a bonus they are smart, witty and they care about people and our planet and random stuff like truth and justice. What once felt like honest discussion now sounds like commentary from people who are more interested in hearing themselves talk than engaging with the realities most people face.

I understand that subscribers might have access to the new pods on Tuesday and Friday a little sooner, but this past Friday it took TEN HOURS for the free version to appear on the Podcasts app. That’s unacceptable. Especially when I can get it sooner as a Sirius subscriber. Lame, guys.

I just listened to a fantastic interview with the senate candidate from Maine. If he was in Washington state he would definitely have my vote. I love the show and the knowledge you guys bring to the table.

I love the podcast but the orthorexia ads—even ads targeting children—make me question the integrity of each host and the collective integrity of the organization.

The interview with Graham Platner was a breath of fresh air! He speaks my language of public health & healthcare in a down-to-earth, approachable way. I also like that he is young & that he brings lives experience to his campaign. His explanation of how the military healthcare system is a universal healthcare system was brilliant. Medicare, Medicaid & Military healthcare are UNIVERSAL healthcare systems! This can be done for the country. Please keep introducing us to the young candidates on the ballots across the country. Stay safe and well. Have a hot cuppa & a piece of dark chocolate to decrease your stress & anxiety as we navigate these challenging & chaotic times.

Fellas, I get it, I can subscribe and become a friend of the pod. It finally sunk in after the thousandth time Jon decided to bring it up. The conversations on the free show are interesting but becoming less worthwhile each day. They just constantly push you to subscribe and they lock the bulk of their content behind subscriber only episodes. I get it’s a business, but it just feels gross to be using current events like Colbert’s cancellation or the Paramount/WB merger as a springboard to ask listeners to give them money. Years ago, I used to find them more interesting for a liberal perspective, but as time goes on, it just feels like they’ve become more interested in building their brand, gaining subscriber money, and becoming celebrities who get paid for live shows.

I’ve listened to every episode since day 1 and will continue to do so but the show has grown stale. Need more original content, games, guests, etc. but the takes all seem to congeal around the same points on every news story.

I’ve always loved this show and I thought y’all truly had a finger on the pulse of America. However, Tommy’s comments on the issue surrounding the Men’s Hockey Team is cringey and missing the moment. “I think it sucks the onus is on them to be decent human beings.” Did we forget that we were recording? Did you think it was just pod bro time? The language used about women and marginalized communities in rooms they aren’t in is the entire problem right now! I found this incredibly tone deaf and true display of ignorance when it comes to your privilege in this world as men.

This was literally the first podcast I ever listened to when I was feeling downtrodden after the 2016 election. I’ve been a regular listener and haven’t agreed with everything, but it keeps me up to date and passionate on political issues. I woke up today and put on the SOTU recap, expecting the usual. Imagine my surprise when a few of the guys completely downplayed the actions of the men’s Olympic hockey team going along with LITERAL locker room talk and attending events via invite from POTUS. They absolved them of knowing what is happening in our country and called them (all fully formed adults) “kids.” These are people who are well compensated for their sport and are able to vote. There is no way that they don’t know anything that would make association with Trump reprehensible (unless they’re ok with it). When we say, “all men,” this is what we mean. Thanks so much for going this low so we all know.

Really disappointed in the most recent episode where y’all basically claimed that it was acceptable for the men’s hockey team not to know what’s going on politically because they were in the Olympics. The women’s team did the exact thing that y’all claimed was impossible for the men’s team to do, they declined the invitation and this day and age its actions like those that matter. You didn’t hold them accountable to their actions or their behavior about the joke about the women’s team. They are grown men not “boys” as y’all said. Do better.
