Kara Swisher is great. Scott Galloway, when he’s on point, is great too. But when Scott veers off course, he kind of derails the podcast and comes off a cringe. That would be fine on its own, but Kara starts talking over him when this happens, and then they spiral into talking over each other. Super annoying. I’m starting to think they don’t actually have great chemistry—in those moments, it feels like they’re both trying to steal the show from each other. If they want to inject comedy into the podcast, they need to work on their chemistry.

Love these two. No matter the topic, always interesting always entertaining and love listening to incredibly smart people who know how to run a good podcast.

I cried when I heard the ending of the podcast today when you Kara was acknowledged that you and Scott had gotten into a “fight” over the weekend and Scott repaired his part demonstrating positive masculinity. I lived for so long with the betrayal of my husband of 40 years AND my sister/family that lived next-door for 33 years which all ended disastrously, except for the fact that I have my freedom now! I had to learn many lessons along the way. One of them is that there’s always gonna be breaches between human beings but what counts is the repair done afterwards. I’ve listened for quite a while now. And I always look forward to what feels like a break for me from the heavier podcasts I listen to in this very heavy time. Today was an example of why I keep coming back. You both have an intention to grow individually, together as friends, and with wider communities. That’s all I’ve ever wanted in a family and have never gotten. I have it with my daughter now, however because of the release from all of the other family relationships where people were not interested in repair. Today you both made me feel good, Hopeful, and at the same time sad because of all the grief I still have in me, but also the joy that it is possible to find people even if they’re only voices that show care and concern for each other, that want to help in the world, that want to help each other and are willing to repair when there is inevitable damage done because we are all imperfect and will make mistakes. Only when there is no accountability in a relationship is it time to leave. It took me a very long time to leave a family because there was no accountability. I’m much better off now and at least I share this orientation with my daughter. But first I needed to be the first to be accountable very consistently and for a good amount of time to establish trust. As I was dealing with pathological liars, and raising her, it was very hard to be a good mother. And I wasn’t. So I had repair first. I love hearing the progress that you two have made in being friends with a purpose to make your unique contribution overtime. We ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!❤️

I absolutely love these two! They argue like I do with my siblings. They make me laugh, they make me cry, yet feel the never ending love between these two while arguing on the topics of the day. Cheers!

I can’t listen to Scott talk about Iran anymore…. Makes me lose too much respect for him that has built up over the years.

I think you guys are very intelligent, especially you kara however when it comes to international relations, I don’t think you guys should chime in so much. I don’t think the knowledge is there. Especially Scott Galloway. Netanyahu has most definitely pushed us into this war because Trump is so naïve and dumb about international relations.

Kara gradually degraded to calling everyone who doesn’t think like her a moron. The podcast became boring.

Glad to have both of these experienced individuals share truthful commentary from both an insider and outsider perspective, and relay their take on some of the topics that can be complicated on a level that most people can understand. Keep those rich buddies of y’alls honest and keep calling out the BS that some of these companies and/or politicians want to get away with.

I love Kara. She is witty, and she doesn’t sugar coat the tough issues. She WILL tell you to your face, why you are stupid & wrong. lol. 🩵💙 you will leave completely agreeing to whatever analysis she laid out. She is a communication ninja.

This used to be my favorite podcast but has grown tedious. The hosts’ dueling humblebrags smother any useful content. The progressive political POV conversations now overwhelm the tech and business topics which was the original draw for me. “Resist & Unsubscribe” has never been adequately explained, and I agree with other reviewers who cite the hypocrisy of the Amazon stock pick of the year.

I love the dynamic between these two, but sadly i feel they should stick to weekly unrecorded coffee dates. Scott is consistently wrong, under researched, and repetitive. I’ve been listening for 6 years, but sadly unsubscribed

Two smart people who too ofter resort to calling people “morons” while glossing over the complexity of an issue (see US DoD spat with Anthropic). I want to come back, but these two need to be adults again first.

Survivor the CNN Edition?!? I AM HERE FOR IT!!!! Scott & Kara are such a great team, and the above mentioned CNN edition of Survivor…….spot on.

I started listening to this podcast when George Hahn (G-Hahn as Scott says) mentioned it on one of his many walks through the park during Covid. We were all in such a rut and so anxiety ridden, I needed a distraction. I am not techy in any way shape or form, but this podcast hooked me from the very beginning. Kara and Scott are an amazing duo, with a natural rapport and humor. I’ve been listening to them faithfully ever since I will continue to do so. Keep up the great work guys! Love you both.

Love these hosts and their thoughtful intelligent discussions, but for the love of God can someone please cut off Kara’s microphone so she stops interrupting?? If the situation was reversed, she’d lose her mind if Scott interrupted her this frequently. Often her interruptions aren’t even additive! Just let the man finish his thoughts, even if you disagree.

Long time listener but I’m out of here. I’m here for discussions, news, interviews. That Scott felt it necessary to state that only hedge funds can afford his speaking fees reveals what an attention seeking little infant he is. Kara has to tell us over and over how she was the originator of this not that and is apparently superior to all humans in her work. Enough. You have money, you have recognition. Heck even Elon doesn’t talk about himself this much. PS Scott’s unsubscribe idea is juvenile and pathetic. That his little ego is fed by sycophantic praise of this total nothing of a movement shows how isolated and out of it he is.

Have listened to these two since 2018, but I'm out now primarily due to Scott. While he may have some valuable career advice (ie Work hard while you're young), he offers little novel substance and nuance politically or socially. His exhausting "young men" narrative is regressive. He chides the manosphere while dog whistling the same narrow talking points of defining what masculinity was 100 years ago rather than taking a stab at redefining it and what its future could be. But Scott prefers the easy route, Ketamine over counsel. In internet parlance, men will do anything but go to therapy. While he brands himself as a moderate, it strikes me he's begun fallen for conservative trappings as a war hawk (which the country can't afford) and opposes progressive economic policies with straw man arguments. He calls for great change in the USA yet feels the engine best suited for revolution is bafflingly centrism. The strategy he wishes for Democrats is a losing one, despite data he supposedly places a premium on. Kara for her part pushes back on Scott, but it often falls short of what she's capable of, giving her co-host a pass rather than rigor.

OMG Scott, giving the men's hockey team locker room performance a pass because they're just "young guys" talking to the president? This is the equivalent of saying boys will be boys! And that is exactly the problem. YOU don't expect them to be better and so they are NOT! You were OK with "the boys" guffawing and yukking it up with a man found guilty of rape and who very likely abused young girls. A man mocking the gold medal women's hockey team. You just told us everything we need to know about why there's no point in reading your book about men. You were just as bad Kara. However, we somehow expected more of you. You two just showed us why misogyny gets a pass and is still alive and well.

Two notes on this episode Scott: 1). The Anthropic/DoD spat is actually about an act of “national socialism”, not socialism gone awry. 2). On the death of SaaS: Perfect reflection. See IBM. Embedded through numerous fundamental tech platform shifts. Software is 15% of the value of a tech solution in the Global 3000.

Scott is correct about debates. Here’s my suggestion: GET RID OF THE AUDIENCE! Musk/ DOGE is stealing all the data from the various agencies for his own use with XAI. Hi. I wonder if Bondi is in the Epstein files. If so, what does SHE know and when did she know it? There is an interesting photo circulating of a much younger Bondi snuggling with Trump and Epstein looking on.

Scott will not stop talking about how brutal the present and future feel for straight young men who were promised everything including 6-figure salaries, homes, and stepford wives for gentleman C-level effort in life. Kara never pushes back or even asks Scott if he’s even considered how young women are doing, who female role models are in an era when all young women work and go to school but their mothers may have not, how lonely women are because they feel they have to decide between their identities and careers or having a live-in partner, as both are not possible. If women are doing better than men, it’s because we were promised nothing and work for everything.

This truly is a great show, but for the love of God, Kara, you have got to stop interrupting Scott, especially because typically when you do, you say nothing of substance. One of the best things about Scott is his delivery and it gets rudely interrupted each episode.

Scott is right. As you age you are ignored.

Let the guests answer the question! Kara, please stop interrupting.

These two are outstanding together. They are both sharp, honest , quick and have great takes on current events. Always worth your time!

I almost always listen to Pivot as soon as it is released and find the host’s insights and experiences valuable. Sure, they have some eye-roll worthy tics, but I love how much they infuse their personalities into the show (warts and all) - makes it more authentic. I’d rather that than something more ‘professional’ and sterile. Their intentions are always good.

He’s become insufferable. Seems like his success has only inflated his greed, insecurity and need to self promote. Aside from his personal decisions (plastic surgery), the first ten minutes today is awful, and he hogs the microphone more and more. Seems like he has lost the ability to co-host, seeing Kara only as someone to emcee the pod and set him up for his rants (which people have heard before)

who was communicating with Epstein after everyone knew at MINIMUM that he was "not a good guy" shouldn’t have his reputation tarnished at all, regardless of his weird, sycophantic and gross emails - should not be judged or suffer any consequences. His "brand" should remain intact. Got it.

Fan and long-time listener. Recent episode Scott talked extensively about his proposed economic boycott especially against big tech (streaming services, Prime membership etc.). But then in a throwaway aside later down the ep he mentioned that Amazon is his big tech stock pick for 2026. So wait, we need to protest by cancelling subscriptions but it’s OK to promote and buy the stock of the companies being boycotted if there’s money to be made in the stock?

The recent podcast with Anthony Scaramucci was so well done!

Swisher has created a ‘brand’ as a hard hitting, truth-to-power journalist. But ask yourself: when is the last time you’ve heard her pose a difficult question to anyone in power? What you always get are apocryphal statement about fictional people she’s spoken out to. A quick Google search will tell you that Anthony Scaramucci is up to his eyeballs in the Trump crypto scream…which Swishers pretends to be incensed about. However, the last time Mooch was a co-host she let him gracefully slip out of the question, and this time, nary a word. It’s clear she is an incredible phony.
