Love Scott but truly enjoying Scott free August and all of the different co-hosts.

Appreciate the in depth analysis of tech news as well as latest headlines. Kara & Scott have a great rapport, and always have interesting guests. Entertaining and educational!

I love this podcast but its just not the same without Scott. The “Mouch”. David Remnick and Rachel Maddow were great guests but Abby Philiip was not fluid enough and got caught up in a lot of word salad . I stopped listening after about 10 minutes. Wesley Morris also had a tendancy to be too long winded.

I never miss Kara and Scott. They are staples in my podcast lineup.

So it’s okay to ask if Michael Barbaro, the well-respected NYT host, is “touching himself” because he’s gay? (Would you publicly refer to a woman that way? To a straight guy?) Please don’t try to sound so hep.

This really pains me to write because it’s one of my favorite podcast for years but the amount of ads are now unbearable.

News can be boring and annoying but not here! Love the honesty, the boldness and the chemistry between them! So engaging and informative!

Love listening to your podcast. Thought Abby was very flake as a co host. She was trying so hard to be neutral while Maddow gave us a sincere outlook about what is going on around us. Abby said a lot yet nothing really.

The shows since August 1 have been outstanding with a dream list of guest hosts! But I must admit, I am so looking forward to Scott’s return. I think it’s the raunchy jokes that add that little extra something.

2 superb interviewers that provide information in an entertaining and funny manner. Rachel on mRNA is correct! 10/5 on this great pod.

I have a hard time listening to either Scott or Kara without the other and so I will usually skip episodes when Scott is off. That said, today’s episode with David Remnick was amazing!

How can it be only the 13th? Missing Scott and counting down the days til his smarmy return 💔

I keep trying, keep coming back. Great topics and guests. I just can’t stand the constant “mmhmmm”… I don’t know if it’s a verbal tic, or what. It is distracting and seems either to be rushing along the other speaker, or a fake suggestion of interest. I don’t know if I can keep “trying”. Let Them Mel might be my last effort.

Pivot is my favorite podcast at the moment. Love Scott and I like Kara enough to keep listening through “Scott Free” August. Mel Robbins episode was so bad, Mel talked over and at Kara the whole time. Nothing resembling a conversation. And then she had the gall to insult Scott on his own show while he wasn’t there to defend himself! So gross.

Th interview with Mel Robbins was so good, why did Kara interrupt the whole. freaking. time. She said “uh huh” literally 1,000 times.

Ugh. Mel Robbins is insufferable. Didn’t let Kara get a word in.

Kara stop talking over people. Let Scott or guest hosts finish their thoughts. This is becoming extremely annoying. I often find myself yelling out “let him/her finish!” I wanted to know what they were going to say dammit. Love you Scott, but stop all the sex talk. I don’t need to know your porn search words. Understand, I am no prude, but I suspect most of us listen to this particular pod because we want to hear a fairly intellectual conversation, tinged with humor. The crude comments are off-putting, especially to your women listeners. I appreciate your humor and whacky spirit Scott, but try and keep it somewhat classy.

Favorite podcast. Kara and Scott are terrific. Thoughtful and funny. Look forward to each episode. Guest co-host Anthony Scaramucci was fantastic, did not know what to expect. To turn around and have Mel Robbins was disappointing. Deeply confused by her popularity. Charlatan-esque and stealing from other’s work. So glad she was also telling Kara all about tech stuff like Kara was new to it all (!)- secondhand embarrassed for her as Kara graciously listened. Yuck.

Mel Robbins has still not acknowledged that the Let Them movement was started and inspired by poet Cassie Phillips. Robbins publicly deflected questions of the Let Them origin story without any acknowledgment of the cultural context in which her book was written. It’s unfortunate this went unaddressed by Kara.

Don’t change Scott! He makes me laugh out loud. I love the show!

I’ve been listening to Kara Swisher since Recode. I remember Scott’s first episode with her. I don’t think I’ve ever missed a podcast, even though I left tech a long time ago. But, it’s as if Kara, in her fame, now lacks all ability to actually research the guests on this show. There are several legitimate, well researched accounts of the Mel Robbins grift - from how she claims the processes in her books are “scientifically proven” (they are not) to the most recent blatant lies about the source of Let Them (Cassie Phillips) and Mel’s attempts to take down this poet. In another life, Kara interviews Mel and holds her accountable for stealing work and content and making millions off the backs of people without $. But, no. The “new” Kara buys into the hype and elevates Mel Robbins. I’ve lost so much respect for her lack of journalistic integrity.

Mel Robins coming on and criticizing Scott based on a few commenters (I’d never thought to look at the comments until she mentioned them) feels like someone entering your house and criticizing its vibe. I’ve been listening to this since the 7th grade and I also listen to Scaramucci and I mostly appreciate that these two are not buttoned up and you get a sense that they are figuring it out on air. I often disagree strongly with Scott but there is a reason young men like guys like Scott. It’s because they are just having a conversation on air and figuring it all out like the rest of us. Kara is wonderful and I think a lot of guys learn a lot from her and wouldn’t have come here without Scott. Scott gets young men in the door and Kara teaches them how to be, so go to one of the thousands of other buttoned up MSNBC shows if you want thoughtful left-leaning commentary without any color or fun!

The ‘Mooch’ is entertaining, I’ll give you that. But a leopard doesn’t change its spots. The complicity continues and worse, donating to the Republicans that aren’t against the Gestapo of disappearing people, the Fascism etc. and he is promoting the Devil’s spawn, makes him actually financing this horror show. We don’t need his advice. We had centrists, the moderate elites, Obama, Hillary, Joe, Kamala. Democrats need a populist, a real one like Bernie. America is waking up, at Townhalls yelling about the top 1% paying their taxes, being against Fascism, for Healthcare etc. They’re showing up at the FIGHTING OLIGARCHY tours by the thousands. We deserve a living wage, universal healthcare, paid sick leave etc. Americans see other countries and see that we don’t have to live like this. We lost the young and old white guys with ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ Tshirts that I handed Bernie signs to at a rally as I stood in the medical section with the Doctors, LGBTQIA etc. They waved those signs and cheered for an old Jewish guy that spoke for ALL of us, a guy that would have been ‘The People’s President’. That’s what this country needs, a President of the People, for the People. I’m just unsure if the Democratic Party will figure it out in time.

Anthony Scarsmucci was great! He should be on Pivot more often. He was smart, authentic, and very humorous! I would rank him very high as a Scott replacement. Go mooch!!!!

This was one of the best episodes ever. Truly learned a lot. Anthony is so well-rounded and quite thoughtful. He knows so much and there’s none of the silliness or dumb jokes, even though I really, like Scott when he’s a bit more serious. Anthony has been close to power and is not afraid to say what he thinks just like you and Scott. Please consider on having Anthony on more. Love your show.

I used to love this show, but Scott has become so narcissistic, it makes it hard to listen to. Whenever Kara has something to promote, Scott insults it and turns the conversation to himself. It used to be a bit, but it isn’t anymore. When Scott has something to promote, Kara is always supportive and plugs it over and over. When Scott used “gay” as a pejorative for Elon Musk, that’s when I really lost all respect. Time for Kara to get a new cohost.

Unfollowed because Scott is such a living cliche and Kara is way too smart and cool for this creep. Then came back and Scott is even worse. Kara time to get an interlocutor who is on your level of class.

I learn so much from this podcast. It is delivered in an understandable and incredibly entertaining way. Kira & Scott have such great chemistry. I often laugh out loud, which isn’t always great, since I work at hospice 😬. I CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH. 💙💙💙

So the show is pretty good. I’m a somewhat new listener of pivot. I was extremely disappointed when Kara spoiled the movie F1 a couple weeks ago and even more so when Scott just went to see it and they joked about her spoiling the movie, but without actually taking responsibility and apologizing for it. That’s really trumpy. I’m not a fan anymore.

Kara relaxes me…just wish Scott would drop the “sex stuff”…not necessary and is gross…but still will listen until I can’t…maybe sooner rather than later…

Can you get him to stop? He’s coming across as pervy as Trump. I had unfollowed and then decided to try a few months later a. He is worse. I’m out.

These two used to have such interesting and refreshing takes, however now Kara frequently trails off, rambles, and always defers to Scott's opinions. Scott has at most 4 talking points And will go to such lengths to change the topic to one of them. In no other podcast can I skip through 2 minutes of content and the same person still be talking. Ugh.

I don’t know how I only became familiar with these two recently. I started with “On” then added “Pivot”. I feel more informed with both shows. BUT they recently talked a LOT about Michael Barbaro on The Daily which I also listen to and they’ve made it really weird, in a good way. I’m listening to Michael now with a big, dumb grin on my face🤣🤣🤣

He worries about about the future of young men and models vile, sexist language. It’s not funny. It’s old fashioned.

Scott’s defense of Cuomo is disgustingly. He’s a bully, he’s a predator and, most importantly, not what NYC voted for.

They are exhausting. She’s the first and knows everything. He’s an overly trusting misogynist. He loves Cuomo, Don Lemon, all the men who abuse women. What? Somehow the world being a bit less unfair to women is just too hard on him which is a real bummer.

I absolutely love the insight and information Scott and Kara bring to my day. It’s like listening to a couple of very well educated siblings try to inform the world of what we SHOULD care about. Kudos to you from this as backwards Okie!

Kara’s ego has reached comically absurd levels. “Let’s hear what I said about this back in March.” Plays clip of her talking, then, “What do you think of my correct prediction?” Come on, Kara!! 😂

This show has always been a bit hit or miss, but I’ve noticed Kara’s approach has become increasingly rough and careless. She often comes off as crass and seems to enjoy leaning into her ego. Spoiling two major Hollywood films—both still in their first week in theaters—without any warning was the final straw. I’m officially unsubscribing.

I hope you find peace in this difficult time.

Have loved your multiple pods and platforms Scott and I listen to ALL of them. However, my goodness…..can you be a little less repetitive in your delivery and content between the various platforms? It literally sounds like you’re reading the same script on each of your pods from Prof G, to Raging Moderates, to Markets with Ed, to Pivot and even to appearances on CNN, The View and other mass media channels. Let’s try to get a little fresher with more unique content! I understand that each channel may have different audiences, but some of us listen to all of your content and we want to be informed and entertained with fresh content on each channel.

Please Ms Swisher would you reconsider calling Elon and trump's immature, narcissistic public fights being between the "girls". This is a terrible stereotype of our young women, including you, me, my daughter, my granddaughters. This is about immature egotistical men. I am politely asking you respect our girls and get rid of this awful stereotype once and for all.

Each episode begins with 20 minutes of them bragging about their lives followed by conversations that usually serve as opportunities to repeat the same talking points week after week. Used to be better but they aren’t preparing in depth at all anymore.
