I was a big fan until the Russini/Vrabel news broke and they’ve been radio silent/previously dismissive of fan opinions of her. I know the tabloid salaciousness is probably overstated but to avoid the topic altogether is very disconcerting. Bo and EJ are very smart but I feel they are not being forthright about the whole situation and it bums me out because I would want to hear their measured opinions on it. But the fact that they have none stated since the scandal, to me, leans that they’re trying to support a colleague over digging at truth. Even though there are separate sources confirming AJs displeasure (so-to-speak) you can’t ignore the veracity that Russini has put out there these reports that are obviously helping her, at best, close friend (and likely boyfriend). Feelings and real relationships are involved so I understand the complications which is why I’m not angry, but I am very sad and very disappointed in the podcast crew.

I listen periodically. Man that was a dumb bit and honestly prolly lost you a lot of listeners.

Eating on the air is absolutely disgusting and was the last straw for me. Been a listener since the early BWF days, and I think I’m finally done with whatever this show has become. Bo is always negative and pissy about something. I used to respect his commitment to the bit, but it’s gotten to the point of jumping the shark a lot of the time. Was excited about EJ at first, but he’s so whiney and insecure I feel like I can’t even digest his takes because he comes off as pathetic. Fran is great, and it would be nice for him to become the main host. That might make this show enjoyable again, but right now it feels like none of hosts like one another and there’s zero chemistry between them. Zach leaving (can’t blame him) killed the spirit of the show. Saddening, but at least Sheil had ZB once a week.

What the hell does Jamie bring to the podcast? The guy does nothing but interrupt people with dumb observations and his hoagie mouth sounds like a bad delve impression. Get him out of here! Deniz “Downer” Selman is such a negative presence on this show that I literally dread him coming on the pod. We have seen unprecedented winning these last few years and yet he comes on with nothing but pessimism and stats and make it look like this is a losing football team. I get the team has not looked great from time to time, even while they’re winning, but come on man. You have not once come on to any show with many positive things to say. Even during blowout wins, you have all the defeatism of a person who watched the losing effort. Why are you here?

These guys are sometimes great, but often miss the forest for the trees. After the last game, where the Eagles dominated, moved the ball efficiently, and secured back to back wins, a division championship repeat for the first time in 20 years and a home playoff game, they chose to focus on a few irrelevant situational causes to start off their pod. Meanwhile, others, like Sheil focus on the positive aspects of the team and their performance, 93rd percentile offensive game, and then mention a few head scratching situational moments. Read the room boys. Hopefully you get things together in time for the playoffs.

If you like eagles football, this is a non-negotiable, must-listen show. Knowledge + entertainment, and they bring it 5 days/week.

His lack of scheme understanding combined with the self-indulgence is just a bad combination. Fran & Deniz are excellent. Bo is just useless. I’m not sure what he’s going for but his tangents absorb time and distract from informative discussion. And what’s with the producer cackling at his weak jokes? Be professional.

If you like schtick and commercials, this is the podcast for you!

Great content and easy to listen to. My only complaint is that I lose 2 IQ points every time one of the guys uses the phrase “positive regression” to indicate that a team will have better fortune in a certain area in the coming season. Regression can’t be positive, by definition. But, thankfully, English has the words “progress” and “progression” for just such a concept. Again, this is literally the only thing wrong with what is otherwise a Perfect Football Podcast.

More importantly, weighing in on “reading” audio books You can’t say you read the book, you say listened to it. BUT, if asked “how many books have you read this year?” then you can include audio books

Will miss ZB but EJ is doing a great job. Also, he’s listed as E.J. Smith on this app, which could hurt his no periods branding.

After years of listening to these two, I had to unfollow the show. Bo’s consistent comments about politics just got too much to continue. Republicans like sports talk radio too. I just want to hear about Philly sports, not your biased and ignorant opinions on politics.

The podcast will be fine. Zach’s wooden and awkward on-air presence was only made worse by his inability to offer anything approaching insightful analysis. He purports to be this great embracer of innovation and technology, but approaches his job like it’s still the 1970s — people no longer consume content through print articles or care about “hometown” special interest stories in sports. Professionally, he’s a regurgitator of press conference quotes and Wikipedia facts, nothing more. He works really hard and I’m sure he loves his job, but he’s not a big thinker. He’s the student that did well because of extra credit and badgering the teacher. He’s pseudo-intelligent and the podcast continuously exposes him. Listen to the training camp podcasts, and tell me out of Bo, Zach, and Fran is day-in and day-out offering the least insight. You’d think someone who works so hard and wears it as a badge of honor would at least better understand the sport he covers. And, Zach trying to intellectually spar with Deniz usually yielded the most unintentionally entertaining moments of the show. I can’t imagine Zach is getting a national job, and if so, they’re making a mistake. Fran is the true talent at PHLY and I’m sure he’ll eventually move on to better things, and Bo, for all of his slacker energy, a.) has a legitimate modern media presence, b.) understands the Philadelphia Eagles and NFL far better than Zach ever has. Happy Trails, Zach (and, yes, we all noticed you lifted this from PTI because you’re professionally derivative and incapable of independent thought).

There is no better podcast to listen to for eagles camp. Perfect balance of fun and football. Feels like you know who is going to be good/bad before the first game is even played. Love the in depth breakdown of each camp day. Bo and Zack are great together. Fran and Rich are awesome when they are on. Could do without Jamie, I don’t even bother listening to the post game pods with him.

I tried to like this. ZBerm is great. Fran is great. But Bo is insufferable. He’s nowhere close to being as sharp and witty as he clearly thinks he is. He drags the entire program down to being unlistenable.

Doing the draft off air is an awful idea and ignores the spirit of the pod and what is so special about the show. The sickos want to hear it unfold live. Don’t water down our experience with a scripted show.

ZB, I’m afraid you need to issue a correction. A few weeks back, when discussing the name Finn, you mentioned that there was a baby named Finn in the West Wing. This is incorrect; the baby’s name was Huck. While wrong, the confusion is understandable. Love the show!

Definitely disagree with berman take on latest episode. CB has to be the priority over DE. They always had DE and never translated to elite defense.

The show is great and the hosts keep it fun and engaging even in slower news times. My only issue is when ads get embedded into the show (not the ad reads done by the hosts, the ones that are added to the pod after the YouTube stream has ended) they’re often in the middle of a sentence - sometimes mid-word. It makes for a difficult listening experience.

More Bo, Zach, Fran, and Deniz. Less Jamie and Rich.

The best thing about this podcast, in my subjective humble opinion, is the work ethic and diligence of all those involved in its creation. This team has consistently improved and stepped up their communication and production skills. The content is entertaining, informative, and highly enjoyable. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to your coverage of the upcoming coming season. If you are an Eagles fan, this is an essential podcast listening experience. Thank you guys.

I love this show. ZB & Bo dynamic is the best part, and Fran entering the mix has been incredible. I am a diehard and it’s some of the best money I’ve spent. I support sitting down to pee.

Hands down, one of my favorite Eagles shows and hate for this to be my review. But Zach yelling overtime into the mic like a deranged 6-year-old reeks of try-hardism and is possibly the worst thing to happen to this show. Super annoying .. 5 star rating otherwise. Go birds!

Tremendous work, especially the mailbag episodes, which showcase Zach’s ability to engage with the community. If the CEO sees this they should give Zach a raise.

Tune in for the shenanigans, learn some football along the way. Or vice versa, depending on your style. Bo, Zach, Fran and Julia always entertain and teach me something, whether that's about a draft prospect, or, more importantly, which cities are good food cities. Love the zany community the show has created and am counting down the days until the Ospreys.

Zach is starting to get some points on Bo.

I was wondering if I could get some clarity on Fran’s draft analysis. Fran seems to be high on a lot of players who aren’t ranked in the top 50 for the eagles at 32. He likes the tackle out of Minnesota Aireontae Ersery but no one else has him near the top 30. It feels like it would be a reach if they picked him there. Is there a reason why Fran doesn’t love big name players from bigger schools? And is he lower on the edge and d tackle class than the other draft gurus are?

Good insider info, smart guys, but too much banter, dumb jokes. Half of every episode is brain rot guys hanging out over a beer chatter.

I enjoy the show but this last couple of episodes have been sputtering and jumping in and out.

It’s totally unnecessary how mean and demeaning Bo is to Zach, oftentimes for no reason - like Zach missing on a joke about Jalen Hurts’ shoes. Serious high school bully vibes.
