I love this podcast and personally some people really miss him but I am the opposite I really didn’t like him because he talked so much and now that he’s gone I feel like the podcast has improved a significant amount. No hate on James but he just made the podcast harder to listen to.

This is the perfect podcast to listen to when bored and need something to do, and for waking up on rough mornings. With the humor and a lot of facts you didn’t know about auto history! Everything about this podcast is so interesting and informative and also perfect. So it knocked 5 stars out of the park!

I love everything that you guys put out and put down, I’ve been a fan for years but just discovered your podcasts yesterday ( 4-29-25). Keep doing what y’all do and glad I found the podcast.

Just got into Doughnut media this past month and have been steadily watching anything these silly guys do. The best is the over the top comments that keep a good balance of entertainment and history. Since I grew up in the 502 basically the same era as J-Pump I constantly laugh out at the wall reference. It almost feels like an big inside joke. Although the age difference is not too much chemistry and social contrast is rad and most importantly it’s entertaining. Keep it up!!

Stumbled upon this by chance and now it’s all I’m listening to. Starting at episode one this has been not only entertaining and educational but when I hear the voice of Enzo, it takes me back to the old country. Keep it up!!! Great stuff.

Love the show, when you guys finally get to it but 30 + minutes of video games and Pokémon talk is not why we downloaded a car podcasts. Please get to the story faster or at least talk about cars

You guys seriously need to ditch the “road snacks” portion of the podcast. Listening to anyone eat on mic is gross, but Nolan definitely takes the disgusting cake. I have on more than one occasion had to stop the episode because listening to Nolan eat and talk with his mouth full makes my stomach turn 🤮 Please do us a favor and censor out your burps and sex noises you make when eating sour patch kids!!

These guys are very funny and educational, they do their research and make sure they are correct and make it fun to learn about a fun topic, CARS!

I just love this podcast and there YouTube channel

It pains me to write this but at this point it feels like this is all I can do to voice my concerns. The big three and past gas have been my go to favorite podcasts for the past year. I really enjoyed the banter, jokes and knowledge that the hosts James, Nolan and Joe had. However, since James has left donut, both podcasts have dropped in quality drastically. Though not their faults, the guests they’ve had on recently have been terrible, with the exception of Jimmy and Justin. The guests are awkward and clunky, and the chemistry is notably bad. It hurts to say since I believe both Joe and Nolan care about these podcasts, but the effort definitely has been lacking. I’ve gone from being a weekly listener, to having to change the podcast after 5 minutes due to how weird the podcast has become. When I listen now, all I hear is awkward conversations and bad jokes and very little knowledge about the car industry. My only recommendation/want would be to have consistent hosts, such as Nolan, Joe, Jimmy, or Justin. Unfortunately, donut media has one foot in the grave, with the mass exodus of key hosts, and it is probably only a matter of time before both Joe and Nolan leave as well.

Stupid complaints I know. I want the best for the success of the pod and channel but there are a lot of ads compared to the past. And I get it you want more money to make it all worth but some are 2min long and every 10 min. First world problems I know. Other than that it’s a great pod.

Listened to almost every episode and will revisit many again! I love this show and keep up the good work. Donut is not a great as it once was since the Kentucky cobra is gone but still love you guys 👍👍👍

I absolutely love this podcast, but it’s sad to see one of Donut’s greatest hosts go. James will be missed. Absolute legend🫡🫡😭😭💔💔😭😭😭 I guess we’ll never know if he got his son back.

I have been listening to this podcast since the first episode aired several years ago. I’ve always enjoyed and looked forward to each weeks episode. Donut helped me through Covid more than I even realized. But over the past couple of months, they have lost their best writers and hosts. But when the Kentucky Cobra slithered off, that was the final straw. The executive should not make all the money then tell the employees to do more with less. Although Nolan is still there, and he’s wonderful, it feels like the heart is gone.

You guys rock . Here in Jax Beach Fl there is a Medical Marijuana store called Subburn Cannibis . Yes it’s the same guys that you talked about . Thought you like to know !!

I started from the beginning currently on Mickey Thompson, only gripe so far is James voice levels, seems to trail off/moves away from the mic.

I really enjoy donut media on YouTube, and normally am not a stickler on pronunciations but hearing them mispronounce a highly anticipated drifting persona “Ueo” as “Yoo-E-OH” in the introduction was just very disrespectful imo for such a huge car enthusiast channel. I couldn’t finish it.

“The Velvet revolver of cars” is one of the greatest statements I’ve ever heard. Started working on my truck about 4 years ago w a friend and started getting into car culture since then. Never really watched much YouTube either and wanted to get some car knowledge so I found this cast and then realized it was donut media who is only really heard about. Love the content and info and goofs and gafs.

This podcast is a great way to learn about automotive history and laugh at the same time. My only criticism would be for James to dial it back a little. He’s a funny guy, but the tangents and jokes can go on way too long sometimes.

Hey guys, You guys should cover the crazy story of Hamiltons rookie year and his title fight with Alonso, one of the craziest f1 stories out there, and that same year there team mclaren was caught cheating and received the biggest fine ever dished out in sports. It’s an incredible story and I would love to hear you guys tell it!

Love the Donut Guys it’s very interesting and informative and funny. I do however have a gripe with the ads played during the podcast. Specifically Angi and the amount it’s played. Way way way tooo much!

Was a little astounded to see the amount of dislike in the reviews but there’s too many people on Earth to please us all. Really enjoy the podcast keeps me entertained while at work, the bits & tangents are great it’s not just a bunch of facts thrown in your face, you get a few laughs or sometimes a bit of personal connection with the hosts. My suggestion to the folks who aren’t a fan due to that is to open a book & research the “facts” you seek so badly as the creators of this podcast have!

A fabulous example of the stopping power of a group of blithering idiots who in just a few short minutes can take what should have been an excellent topic and grind it quickly to an unlistenable mass of tangents and uninformed noise that provides little information and no entertainment. It did however induce my first ever review of a podcast so I guess it has that going for it!

I love this show. Automotive history is a fantastic idea for a show and leaves us with a huge catalog of awesome episodes. Keep it up guys!

James isn’t funny. He flat out isn’t. Every time he opens his mouth to discharge something he thinks is funny, he derails the episode and ruins the tone of the whole thing. You can tell Nolan works hard to research topics and cares about what he’s doing but James brings the whole thing to a grinding halt. It’s a comedy podcast that isn’t remotely funny basically, and only marginally useful if you’re trying to learn something and willing to put up with the hyena laughs and constantly repeating jokes.

I really wanted to like this, but the ratio of dumb frat boy to car info is unbearable.

The most annoying part about this show is the woman who keeps laughing in the background, some good content, but the F1 stuff has really played out.

Starts with 5 minutes of ads, before a short intro, followed by 5 more minutes of ads. Then 5 minutes of ads ever 10 minutes after that. Feels like they’re just burning time between ad reads.

I LOVE all of their content. I have watched their YouTube channel since 2020, and listen to the podcast every night now. Thank you guys.
