Good atmosphere
Delia is good. And thorough.

Very enjoyable sometimes pushing the narrative
Would have given a 3.5 but a 4 will suffice. I love the show’s premise, but sometimes the episodes attempt to add mystery where the clues and investigation doesn’t warrant it just for enhancing the narrative. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it sometimes makes me feel like an incident didn’t warrant an episode but was fluffed to get across the line, which makes me think they’re running out of content. Still totally worth the listen, especially the earlier episodes.

I love this podcast even paid for the exclusive

It’s good until it’s not
The podcast fills the time. But it’s just hard to follow sometimes. I often find myself rewinding because I get lost; it’s interesting but not riveting. I also don’t like some of the sound effects when describing what happens to the victims, like the sound of a bullet firing as the narrator describes someone getting shot in the head. I don’t think the victims’ families would appreciate it either. It includes a lot of people lost and almost always suggests something sinister happened when in reality, no one knows. I really hate when people fill in the gaps with speculation. I also don’t like the tongue in cheek ending statements such as with guy with DID who murdered the three teens.

New Case
There was a couple hiking with their daughters in the Devil’s Den park in Arkansas that were murdered over the weekend The daughters were not hurt

Waste of time
The title is clickbait and I bit. I listened to one episode and it was so boring. Nothing was solved just statements of facts of a missing man. I could have googled that. Hard pass.

Words
I enjoy this show. However, word usage is often a problem. Delia repeatedly uses the word “delineate” incorrectly. I think she means distinguish or differentiate. Also in the recent episode about the missing hunter I could swear she pronounced haphazard as halfhazard. Not the end of the world but definitely distracting. On the bright side I think she has finally quit saying that things are “sus” which is so cringy in this context.

Went way downhill over the years
This show used to be on my weekly “must listen” list when it first aired during summer seasons only. It started to gain more traction and the type of stories that were reported on became inconsistent. Once the episodes aired weekly, year round, the show was not worth listening to. Stories range from detailed, current cases to very outdated international stories with little detail and pure speculation.

Huge fan
I’ve been a huge fan of this show since it came out. I immediately subscribe to any show done by Delia. She’s the best!!

Um I just wanna say that in order to respect the victims all I can say is that source materials report someone was killed and someone was caught. Can’t that just be enough for you? Why do you wanna hear the details? Total loser.

Same cases as TCKR
I listen to many true crime podcasts and watch YouTube channels. Kendall Rae has been on top for me for over 6 years so I know all of the cases she’s covered and these are repeats of basically everything KR has done. I’ve listened to 5 Park Predators episodes today and I knew 3 already. I’m still listening though! I like the PP host’s voice and she tells the story well. I appreciate the pace and light background music.

She’s Back!
I originally gave a 2 star based on her repetitive use of the term “Quote”. It was too hard to listen to, so I left the show. I, glad I ca,e back and tried again because she has definitely changed that. It’s very easy to listen to again. I also appreciate her non-biased reporting. Even when dealing with controversial things.

Awful
Virtue signaling, boring, facts missing. Definitely a product of Ashley Flowers

Love
Great story telling, I have to agree with the other comment that said bring back the original theme song lol, but otherwise- she does a great job with her research and her suspense.

Delia is my favorite!
Park predators is my favorite dog walking podcast! The podcast hits different when you’re enjoying a bit of wilderness yourself. I love the way Delia tells the stories with such detail and honors the victims. I also really enjoy her connection to southwest Florida! I grew up in that area, so it’s always exciting to hear cases that take place there (Same with counter-clock!)

Great Podcast
Love the variety of this podcast. Love the ending with Chuck’s bark!

Boring & political bias
I liked before but now I struggle to get through the episode without getting distracted. host also says too many of the same words. Also the constant hating on the police is weird and hints at a political agenda which automatically ruins a pod for me.

Love this one!
Please bring back the original theme song!!! I’m very picky about podcasts and this meets all my criteria! Presents the facts in one clear calm voice (no chit chat), honors the victims with dignity and respect, and has a clear resolution in the end unless it’s cold. I’m so excited to binge out on all her episodes! The website has some great photos to go along with each one too.

It’s missing something
I’m probably too used to Henry making jokes about crime scenes but this podcast just makes me space out

Nice podcast!
I just listened to the episode The tracker. I grew up in north Idaho and some of the city, town and county names can be difficult for people to pronounce, especially for non locals. But I wanted you to know, you said them all perfectly!!! I enjoy your show. Thank you!

Exceptional

The stories are great but I can’t finish an episode without spacing out or getting bored

How many times can one person say “source material”?!? 🙄
Omgggg! Just listened to “trappers” & it’s so annoying how many times she says “source materials”! Distracting so irritating. Just say “records” or “sources”. “Source materials” isn’t necessary.

A fun treasure to find
I’m new to the Christmas Past world, but oh so glad I stumbled upon it! I’ve already recommended it to friends who, like me, love Christmas all year long. The short episodes allow for quick listens and I learn something new with each episode. I also enjoy the Christmas Memories spots to hear how others experience the season. Can’t wait for the new season to begin.

Sadly losing interest
This has been a favorite podcast of mine since the beginning. Love the subject matter, and I was so stoked when it became a weekly show, but unfortunately I haven’t been enjoying it as much lately and typically do not even finish the episodes. It just hasn’t been as gripping. I personally don’t have much interest in 100+ year old cases. A lot of those older cases feel like repeats. There has to be newer cases to cover. I am no fan of Ashley Flowers and her network typically, but this show has the potential for greatness. Right now it is hit or miss.

good, but..
i usually enjoy this podcast due to its interestingly specific subject matter. with that being said, i would like to add an important critique that i hope will be addressed in the future. when speaking about personality disorders, specifically borderline, please clarify that not all individuals with these kinds of diagnosis commit these crimes. i was not a fan of the wording used in the most recent episode. yes, the reference used likely used this wording. It would be better if a clarifying statement that this diagnosis is characterized by unstable sense of self rather than the mention of just instability and pedophilic tendencies. as someone with borderline personality disorder, pedophilic tendencies is NOT normal. This is not a common experience for those with borderline. yes, intrusive thoughts exist, but those are not tendencies. i believe the wording used in this episode furthers the long standing stigma around those with borderline and other personality disorders. please do better in the future. :(

The stories may be interesting, but the delivery is terrible. Very monotoned and I lose interest. I find myself “zoning out” quite a bit.

How About You Try Making A Podcast And See How Many Subscribers You Get . Anyway , That Was All. Small suggestion
I love this show and all the episodes! I do have one small suggestion - could you not have sounds in the background throughout the podcast? Maybe it’s the volume they’re at or I’m just weird but I usually have to look around and make sure I’m not hearing noises somewhere else - for example a recent episode had a beeping noise in the background in and I got confused thinking it was somewhere near me and not in the podcast. I’ve just noticed this on a few episodes and think just narration would be best if possible! Still love the stories and podcast but wanted to make that small suggestion :) thanks!

The Hunter Episode.
Who hunts ducks with a .308 rifle? If you hunt, especially waterfowl, you know how silly that sound’s and that doesn’t track. You hunt birds with shotguns with a load that is bird shot, didn’t think I’d have to explain that but suppose some people wouldn’t know.
Smh as a hunter…..
Listening since the start
A one person podcast with a great voice that doesn’t stumble over words and easy to listen to. No long introduction waiting for the actual story to start. It’s one of the very few true crime podcasts with no profanity. A good park specific true crime podcast.

Fabulous
I always look forward to hear these episodes. Always interesting and the host is the best! UPDATE! I love this podcast. Sad these haters are so mean.

Started interesting…
I used to enjoy this podcast but it has turned into yet another front for progressive propaganda and virtue signaling dribble. And poorly delivered by the show host, at that.

Downhill fast - NOT a journalist
It’s more enjoyable if you limit your expectations. She is NOT a writer or journalist. Her grammar, speech and pronunciations are atrocious. I used to love this podcast - now she has just way too much filler/non important information and the OBNOXIOUS music in the background. It’s honestly worse than crime junkie. Needs a course from Toast Masters or something to stop saying ‘like’ and ‘whatever’ and ‘anyway’ stories are also now super boring. She could get all the important information across in a fraction of the time if she stopped saying all the filler speech (source material, it’s not clear, or whatever, like, like, like, but I’m not sure). I think if you go into it knowing she isn’t a writer or journalist, it can be enjoyable. She also gives away the entire story in her intro, half the time I find myself just googling it and reading about the story instead. She is very much an employee of Ashley Flowers, so, again, just limit your expectations.

Ok, great premise and great research. But the amount of times you say “source material” is mind numbing. I feel like I lose a brain cell every time you say it. “The available source material seems to indicate…” “According to the source material…” “Again, going back to the source material…” “Although the source material doesn’t specify…” Maybe instead you can say: “My research shows…” “The records state…” “That detail wasn’t documented…” “From my research I can conclude…” 🫠

Dear lord quit it with the speculations
A few weeks ago a read a review stating that they’d noticed Delia saying “I imagine” and now they couldn’t unhear it. Now I can’t unhear it either. Please stop speculating…. about really unimportant details, too. Just give us the facts.
the_real_dill
True crime not supposed to be boring!
Hard to keep focused after 7-10 minutes. It’s not just the clunky, repetitive language (noted in other reviews) but also the amount of useless geographical details. I also find extremely off-putting some of the hilariously bland direct quotes. Stuff like “This was a difficult investigation”, said Officer X. No kidding.
Enigel69
Goodbye
Now have to subscribe for mediocre stories. I’m done.

Anyway
The host constantly saying “anyway” and “like” makes it hard for me to listen. Too many other well written podcasts out there to bother with this one.
