I was hoping to learn things I did not know about space physics etc but to get to anything interesting one has to endure ages of meaningless conversation between host and guest about nothing of any consequence.

I could listen to Moiya McTier all day. And Corinne Caputo makes an excellent Watson to Moiya’s Sherlock Holmes. Together the two of them present a variety of topics on the Universe, cosmology, planetology, and the history of science in a very humanities-friendly manner. As a working scientist and science communicator, I love watching them in action and get something out of every episode. I can count on Pale Blue Pod to provide an unfailingly chill, calming touch to my often crazy work days.

Had to unsubscribe on principle, both hosts would go with bear alone in the woods. Social media has rotted away ninety percent of the population’s brains. Just remember, when people overwhelmingly choose to reproduce with liars and criminals, usually multiple individuals, than good people will be bred out of existence. Who is to blame for that?

Only midway through but loving this episode and felt compelled to give Moiya a hit of praise! And Corinne, too! I dip in and out of this podcast, but I’m always glad when I come back to it.

You guys actually figured out how to make astronomy racist. First words ‘we used to do a podcast called sugar and cinnamon’ im not surprised everything is a race bait here. These types of people have ruined the university system like termites infesting a foundation. Run far from here.

I like the content, very informative and unique. Moiya and corinne are great hosts, entertaining and charming. I also like the little twists like background sound and different settings

These two are so great at making something to big, extreme, and extravagant NOT seem so daunting. It’s as if friends just get together in a cozy place and talk about the positives (while also calling out the negatives) surrounding the history of the universe while being so personable. These two aren’t stuffy snobs, which makes this all the more a five star rating. Through explanations and history with a nice addition of humor and humanity. Adore the podcast.

I love this podcast. The hosts are clever and funny, and I always learn so much. I found this podcast recently after Dr. McTier was a guest on another podcast, and I am so glad that I did! It’s rapidly become my favorite podcast - cozy, interesting, and fun. I definitely recommend it!

If you’re even remotely interested in space you should give this pod a shot. When I’m fully paying attention I always learn so much and laugh a lot. When I’m only half-listening (e.g., while I’m cooking or working) I still learn (a thing or two) and laugh (a lot)! I also love how they mix in movie review episodes and bring in guests from time to time. Who knew the universe was my friend?! Thanks Pale Blue Pod! 🌎🪐✨

Just started listening. Love it. Bought Dr. Moira’s audiobook and loving that as well.

So silly, giggling and after 15 minutes still never getting to the point.

Dr. Moiya and Corinne teach about space in such an accessible and entertaining way. Their lovely banter brings a refreshing dose of comedy and confidence, with out-of-this-world expertise and down-to-earth commentary.

I wanted to hear about astronomy but the 2 girls and their inane chatter was infuriating and I could feel myself getting stupider by the minute as listened to this pod. This needs to be renamed teenaged girls talk and they need to stop acting like brain dead people

This pod gave me knew info about space, important people in space, and something to laugh about! I love how there is humor mixed in with science. There is a very good pod if you want to just listen to something nice, funny, and a little nerdy. 🔭🪐☄️🛸👽🛰️🚀

I thought the silliness might get old, but instead it’s just hilarious. I’ve listened to 10 episodes in less then a week and with my family in the car. Such a fun way to learn and laugh!

Love this podcast. Just discovered and in addition to being fascinating and fun, it is my new comfort podcast, one I can listen to at any time or any state, and always feel uplifted. Great work Moira and Corinne! Love the content, the hosts, the theme song, all of it.

This is such a soothing listen! Dr. Moiya introduces so many scientific principles and explains so much about astrophysics in such a way that it is entertaining and relatable! Corrine keeps it on my level by asking the questions that someone without this degree of knowledge would ask. It’s so much fun becoming better friends with the universe!

I’m only a few episodes in but LOVING this podcast!!! Those of us that love space but math and large words were too hard for us to follow….this is for us!!! They make it so easy to follow and their friendly nature make you feel like your learning among friends. Love this!!

Listened to this to learn the basics of astronomy and space. They started to make comments about political figures which turned me off but I continued to listen. They then allowed their feelings and biased opinions to interfere with the facts. There were times they “refused” to say a scientist’s name or talk about them because they didn’t like them. Then they began expressing their opinions on political figures. I want to listen and learn about space…nobody cares about your feelings.

More of a social chat than informative podcast, opinion vs information.

This has become my new comfort listen. Even though the scale of what the hosts discuss is sometimes intimidating, their warmth and humor make each episode fun and informative. It’s my new pick to listen to before bed to send me off into star-filled dreams.

I love it until they start talking down on republicans or being super political.

A really fun way to learn about space (and laugh along, too!) The hosts are as entertaining as they are informative. Moiya is clearly an expert and distills concepts in a fun, accessible way, and Corinne is funny, charming, and curious—which makes it feel like I’m in the room with them. Big fan!

I’m already a fan of Exolore, so I had to check out the good nerdy doctor’s newest offering. This is fun! It’s like hanging out with friends and learning about space. What’s not to love? I can’t wait for more episodes.
