it is very hard to ignore the absence of objective coverage of Israeli aggression and oppression.

The details narrated by the reporter does not always provide much more substantive information than the brief introduction by the podcast host.

Listening has been part of my morning routine for years.

Three biggest questions of Trump’s war against Iran: 1) Did Israel war criminal Netanyahu force a weak Trump to bomb Iran? 2) Did compromised Trump bomb Iran to help Putin with oil revenues & Russia’s war against Ukraine? 3) Did yet another Republican President force US into Middle East war by manufacturing false evidence, or to distract from Epstein sexual abuse that incriminates Trump?

I thought I was listening to FOX News for a second after hearing the pro-war bias they have on Iran. I couldn’t hear any unbiased or actual journalism.

A caption for the episodes would be useful. The click bait, blind listening is amateur at best

Great show to wake up to to get an overview of the news that is just the facts

This podcast covers a lot in a little time, with excellent editorial balance. Distribution is spotty though. This podcast no longer works on Overcast. Older tech comment from years ago: It could be improved if someone at NPR would listen to every podcast on an iPhone, to catch and fix the inevitable glitches. The accident time clock recording around 11am a few days ago was particularly hilarious.

Trump did not send agents into Chicago last year, since he was sworn in January 2026.

I feel like I’m left leaning now. I want to be central though so I’m listening to other pods that are central like Tangle for example. Still listen to this when I need a quick update, but I can see where people are coming from on the biased reporting. I like listening to the actual NPR radio too in moderation.

I'm looking for different sides…Get rid of phooey Eleanor Beardsley, her embarrassing rhetoric, plz. NPR used to be a really useful and informative new source but that was decades ago .snot snot completely biased all over the place no wonder why the government doesn't want to pay for npr. I Dont!

How come on other apps you can listen to all the news clips from that day but on iPhone, you have a limited window?

12/26/25 china announced sanctions against all weapons manufacturers for exporting weapons to Taiwan. Major news. Not a single word about it. lol. Not news. Propaganda Delivered with the cadence, infliction and authority of a kindergarten teacher. Trauma porn sprinkled with completely useless fluff stories, no useful news. So what is the point? The point is to keep you afraid to teach you there are powerful people and forces outside your control. There aren’t. It’s class warfare. The sad thing is they won. You all volunteer to be slaves. That’s the best type, a self enslaved person. They say the world is scary and then remind you the ruling class will solve it. They make you all psychotic. Wake up. There are no leaders only violent people that exploit your short pathetic lives like cattle.

I appreciate this podcast because I can quickly get updates on top stories.

It would be 5 stars for the sense that most of the stories and commentary tends to have a left-leaning bias as an undercurrent. Just updated my review (Dec 6) and sadly, I had decided to unsubscribed as the news reporting and commentary from host is so biased and therefore unfair and deceptive. Not sure it will bother you-but you’ve lost a central/right listener who used to very much admire the intelligence of the editorials but sadly that’s all gone. If you are very left leaning and despise Trump and anything the Republican Administration is endeavoring to do for this country, you’ll love this podcast. Bye.

I get that this show releases a new episode every hour and keeping every hour is unrealistic though I think they remove episodes too soon. If I am busy for a few hours then I’m unable to listen to the older episodes. I can’t be glued to my device 24/7 and drop everything to listen as soon as a new episode releases.

I like the 5 minute news briefs, but sometimes when they are in my queue, they end and wipe my queue out. I don’t get it. Not your fault, but it’s the only podcast that does this.

I never write reviews, but seeing all the MAGA hate speech reviews really inspired me! Clownish, insultant, uneducated, cult-like like word salad reviews makes it all the more obvious that MAGA doesn’t listen to NPR 🤣 And most definitely should. I started lamenting to NPR over 12 years ago and I still love their content today! Keep fighting the good fight!

Listed everyday until the paywall. Not paying for a podcast

NPR was always left leaning but this program is cartoonish at this point.

Least sensational source for daily news. Straight to the point and does not partake in the nonsense that main media outlets like Fox News, CNN and MSNBC do.

I appreciate that NPR, even after being defunded is staying as even keeled as could be possible. Don’t mind the false equivalency labeling that many of the ultra MAGA are using. There will always be a percentage of the population that have low openness to experience and are afraid of change or are on the social dominance orientation spectrum and feel emboldened. But don’t lose hope ❤️.

Hoping that you never leave me! Love my NPR. Thoughtful intelligent and compassionate during these un-presidented times. Thank you for all that you do.
