Do yourself a favor and start listening
This podcast is the highlight of my week, well worth adding to your queue. Light hearted, funny and genuine, I cannot imagine what I would do without this podcast! The BEST dnd podcast out there.

Amazing podcast
I love this podcast and listen to it all the time I love the team work and planning. Also when Emily uses items that Murph gives her to do some op move it is so funny. (*^ω^*)

I might have a problem
I started the podcast 8 months ago and just caught up! My wife is a little concerned as I’ve spent most of my waking hours sitting silently while chuckling, giggling, and often heartily laughing. But this ultimately pushed me to start playing; I am now playing in two campaigns and am about to start a third as DM. The show has inspired me and I’m excited to take some of the shows homebrew mechanics into my game!

This is perfect
I had been playing D&D for over 20 years. I enjoy Critical Role and Dimension 20 and have subscribed and followed their shows for sometime. One day I heard Emily and Murph reference NADPOD on Dimension 20 and I figured I would check it out. I started with Season 3 (Ba-two-mia) and absolutely fell in love with the story and the characters. Then I heard the episode with the elevator. Basically, the characters were breaking in to the lair of the big bad and were taking an elevator which malfunctioned. Murph (the DM) would have them roll to determine what floor they were on, the threat, and the proximity. It was brilliant. The cast had so much fun and I thought to myself, “This is one of the best encounters I have ever heard”. Murph is a fantastic story teller and his encounters are absolute legendary. Having the PCs pilot dragons (each with their own list of powers and abilities) while fighting an elder dragon, that happened. Having legions of soldiers locked in battle with appropriate combat mechanics, that happened more than once. Murph’s encounter design is amazing and he does so much to create urgency and give the players a way to take an active role in every aspect of the combat. It’s really incredible and fun. I recommend NADPOD from the bottom of my heart. These guys are amazing storytellers and they are all absolutely hilarious. I will be a fan for life. Thank you.

Jake is doing so freakin good! Awesome job everyone!!!

Hilarious and has a lot of heart, but misophonia warning…
These guys are incredibly talented and hilarious, and their gameplay is creative and engaging. However, as someone with misophonia (being easily annoyed by annoying noises), the DM’s constant need to make loud smacking noises with his mouth is kind of hard to get past. I’m not dinging the podcast for this since misophonia is kind of a ridiculous thing to have to deal with, but it’s a thing I have to deal with, so there it is.

I love Emily Periodt
I fell in love with Emily and Murph over at Dimension 20. Always interested in D&D I never really had a way to experience it until my drag queens went and played. Having made my way thru those interests hero's adventures I followed Emily and Murph here and was not disappointed at all. Thank you for keeping the art of storytelling alive. There truly is no one better than you.

Truly the best
I was a D&D actual play watcher, but surprisingly it’s this podcast that truly bit me with the “I need to play” bug.
Not only is NADDPOD the funniest podcast—consistently, with a group dynamic that is like lightning in a bottle, it’s also hella informative. D&D Court as well as the short rests genuinely prepared me on how to start my DM journey!
Thanks for the laughs and a new life everyone!

My favorite show out of all the DND actual play I’ve seen, including all of the campaigns on Dropout. If you’re a Dimension 20 fan, you’ll love NADDPOD—I’m on my third listen-through of the campaigns. Shoutout to the 2 Crew!

7 minutes of Patreon shoutouts
The shoutouts are so long I never “complete” an episode. So they don’t clear the que and pop back up mid shoutouts over and over. I never want to hear the C.C.C. thing again. So I have to unsubscribe sadly. It’s really a vibe ruining way to end the show.

Not worth it
Had a friend try to convince me this podcast was worth the investment. 44 episodes in, and I couldn’t even tell you who the antagonist is. Story has zero flow, constant world hopping with zero character development, zero story building, zero -why- given.
Not worth it.

The Best
NADDPOD has instantly become my hands down favorite D&D show, and I’ve listened to a lot of them. It’s wonderfully absurd, hilarious, and engaging. Brian Murphy’s homebrew mechanics and world building are fantastic and super inspiring.

I’m loving it!
I’ve only just started from the very very beginning. I’m at ep.14 while I write this review. Learned this podcast existed after going through dropout content and frankly I am excited. I love DnD and I adored Emily and Murph’s characters in their Dimension 20 stuff. This is so good so far with the familiar comedic shenanigans I love in a slightly different flavor. I look forward to binging this show every chance I get. I’ll catch up eventually.

I love this podcast! Story telling is phenomenal.

Best of the best
Murphy inspires me to be a better GM and Jake is such an unsung legend. Emily’s mind is a thousand steps beyond everyone and Caldwell is precious and needs to be protected at all cost.

Well rounded crew and campaigns
Murph, Caldwell and Emily never disappoint!

Nothing’s astray in this bay
I am very new to the podcast and am starting from the beginning so forgive me for the deep like. I am completely obsessed with your crew and at the same time I also want to give an award to the DM for their complete and utter saintly patience. As a neurospicy person myself, I too have the urge to insert questions and thoughts out into the air without filter or pause. Often on this journey, our brave, and sometimes foolish (looking at you toothpick-in-the-croc’s-craw Beverly) adventurers interject and nary a scene can be described. So Brian, to you, I tip my hat.
Moonshine, Hardone, and Beverly you are all THE BEST and are serving brutality in the most fantastic ways.
I find myself cackling a LOT listening to your pod and can’t wait to get caught up to see where you all are now.
Outstanding Pod with outstanding peeps. 15/10 would recommend.
P.S.
PawPaw is really the star here and I think we all know that.

Sweet Blue Hole, this is good!
My husband found NADDPOD in 2023 and we’d listen to it on short drives and he recommended it with the caution ‘get past the first 5 episodes, they’re a little rough and crass as they find their footing but it’s absolutely worth it.’ So I downloaded a few episodes towards the beginning of 2024 because I was bored of music and needed something entertaining, as I spend about an hour a day driving for work.
Cut to today and the total consumption of all 3 main campaigns, the side ones (Hot Boy Summer is my favorite) and ALL of D&D Court and I’m beginning to think I may have a problem. (My husband is, just this day, finally on the final episode of Campaign 1 and I ask the mighty Justices and Most Patient and Pretty Alright Bailiff Jork to judge him accordingly)
Most of my contribution to family conversation is ‘So there was this case…’ or ‘Sweet BLUE HOLE THAT F—-ING HURT’ and I’m starting to panic at the shrinking list of unplayed episodes.
It’s highly likely that I will be treating these like I do my favorite book series- going back to the beginning and enjoying the ride all over again.

SO GOOD!!
I love this podcast, and for those of you already listening and reading this, can we just talk about how much Hardwon, Moonshine and Bev would have been in awe of the serpents that Callie and them get to ride?!
Can Hardwon please meat honey suckle?! 😍

They have chemistry
This team works so well together that magic is real. They make it in their studio. Their performance is so delicious that we are always craving more. Even reruns are delightful! This story is a must hear again and again and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next. I love you guys.

Amazing show weird thought
OK, so I first have to say that I love this show. I laugh and actually feel the range of emotions when listening but every time they do something that is actually from DND I can’t help thinking that’s not how that spell works and I think that’s my internal “well actually.” but regardless I love all of you guys. Thank you for making this and yeah. You guys rock!

Hilariously funny and moving
This show hits me in the giggles and the feels. They walk the line between serious and goofy so well and the running bits are legendary. Shout out to Emily, probably the most entertaining dnd player out there. Love you guys

Absolutely pay for the add on for the short rest
This is my 3rd time going threw all the seasons and the short rest is making it double the laughs then the first two times around. Absolutely worth the 5 bucks if you are starting out and enjoying… Just get the add on and listen to it the way dice christ intended.

Absolutely incredible
The group has amazing chemistry, and listening is a pure joy. Emily Axford is the greatest D&D player alive.

Inspiringly good
i’m well versed with dungeons and dragons at this point, i’ve played many many sessions, watched and listened to many of the large dnd actual plays in the TTRPG space. out of all of the APs i’ve experienced over my time, NADDPOD is one of the best i’ve ever listened to. the cast is stellar, effortlessly funny, and amazing at the game. Murph as the DM is so amazing its inspired me in my own storytelling in home games. if you’re on the fence about giving this a listen, you will not regret it.

The best DND comedy podcast
So many creative people on this team! I love the different shows each month, from DND court, to 8-but book club, to the main story. While I love everyone on this show, Emily is by far and away the best player and DM on this show. Hot boy summer and twilight Santorum are amazing and her PCs are both entertaining and incredibly effective! I recommend this podcast to everyone, even if they don’t know anything about TTRPGs

My Favorite Podcast
Read the title. I don’t subscribe to any other patreons, I don’t have any other podcast I listen to as much, legitimately has helped shape who I am today. Great cast, great chemistry, great stories, great laughs, it’s all great.

GOAT DND Show
It’s Critical Role, but more comedic and not 12 hours long. Far superior, great podcast, inspired my career as a DM.

Oops?
I am so behind in every other podcast I listen to and I’m only on episode 79 😬 started listening two months ago to brush up on my DnD knowledge while working on a one shot with some newbie friends. Safe to say, I’m hooked.

So much fun!
Definitely a show for adults. Dungeons and Dragons experience is not necessary to enjoy this show, but you might take 15 min to read the basic rules to understand the mechanics of why they do what they do. I started listening because my son and I started playing and I wanted to be more familiar with the game. I was hooked by the humor, but I stayed for the story. Murph is an amazing world builder, comedian, voice actor and story teller. Emily, Jake and Caldwell are incredible improvisers, comedians and voice actors. They are having so much fun, I wish I could play a campaign with them! It is impossible to pick a favorite character, because they will each own a piece of your heart by the time you reach episode 100.

Hilarious and helpful (maybe?)
I was interested in learning how to play D&D. Either this show will make me very experienced or super terrible. Either way, I had fun along the way.

MURPH, CLEAR YOUR THROAT
Best podcast ever, but, for the love of God, Murph, clear your throat... especially on the Short Rest. Jeez Louise.

Late to the Party
I’m late to the party on NADpod, but I’m so glad I got here. Laughing along with you all makes my hour long commute feel much shorter! Don’t know if you’re still doing character shout outs and I’m still in season one so this might be too far back to go for a shout out but the seagull, the bear and the rat working on the airship in episode 14 deserve their own spinoff maybe a honey heist? lol if I earned a shout out, I’d want it from them

Best dnd podcast I have ever listened to
I have been listening to this podcast for a year or two now and I haven't stopped since. It is hilarious, emotional, and downright nuts, but that's the way I role. I have gotten so many laughs out of this and listen to every new episode hours after they come out. Just subscribed to naddpod+ and I have to say it is completely worth it. Thank you so much all of you hosts for the wonderful times I have had listening to this.
PS: Honeysuckle is the best character in the entire campaign!
