The bias towards certain manufacturers keeps leaking through, ridiculous click bait takes on new products, and constant, CONSTANT snarky political commentary peppers analysis and reviews. This is both on the podcast, and on the website. Further, the podcast audio quality is sub par, sounding like they record it directly from a cell phone mic, or from a Zoom call.

The content is generally good if you like equipment. However, it is unlistenable at times due to the audio. Show after show the audio levels are too low with one host and too high with another. You can’t listen to it effectively. They need to start taking the audio production serious if they are going to keep doing a show.

Does this studio only have 1 microphone? Can only hear one person clearly.

Love golf and all it brings to us. I’m not biased towards pga or liv, and listen to many golf podcasts. Gave this one a try but the content really is low value, always biased against LIV, just not entertaining or a place to get value.

The audio or lack of makes this podcast unbearable.

5* for bringing on Hank Haney. I really don’t agree with MGS on most things they put out, but applaud them for actually debating the LIV topic with a different viewpoint. All aspects of society could benefit from doing this rather than just arguing on Twitter

Unfortunately, the podcast is an unsubscribe for me now. I just can’t get on board with the new format of Chris and Tony going back and forth. Honestly, the show doesn’t connect with me. I like equipment, but I feel like there if you’re not the guy buying new clubs each season with after market shafts then this pod isn’t for you. They don’t reach the average golfer anymore. Miranda had a way of connecting things back to the average golfer and that’s simply missing now. The episodes are now 30-60 minutes of Chris and Tony talking about their opinion of a product/brand, while ignoring the average consumer. Even the data that was a big part of previous seasons has gone missing from the more recent episodes.

The Adam episode was painful to listen to and frankly the long hiatus was warranted following that fiasco. Now the show comes back and seems unenthusiastic and disorganized without Miranda leading the golf nerds around in a somewhat directed manner. It’s a shame, I enjoyed listening to this pod, but I just don’t think Chris and Tony can repair the damage that has been done. Best of luck fellas, I’m out.

I really used to enjoy the content and banter between all the hosts. Miranda was always fun and brought balance to the show, this isn’t gonna cut it for me. I miss hearing everyone’s opinions and thought on whatever the topic was. I hope this is temporary.

The content is okay, but I can’t take it seriously until Adam learns how to say “golf”. “MyGoffSpy- the most trusted reviews in Goff. “ “A zillion goffers use it ever year” “Don’t Goff without it!” Absurd

Used to enjoy this (formerly) weekly pod. The episode where Adam came on to “debate” TXG about free fittings was a really tough listen. Adam’s interruptions and nonsensical arguments and generally bad behavior left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if that’s why this pod has been radio silent despite TONS of high profile golf equipment releases, but when/if the pod does come back I hope Adam stays away.

Great, mostly relevant content and good banter with the regular crew, but please no more Adam. The aggressive arrogance with no logic or perspective provides nothing for the listener. That exchange with Ryan was painfully lacking in substance and neither came out looking like they had any sense. Don’t ruin a good thing.

Really enjoyed the in depth work on the golf ball podcast. There were quite a few big surprises. I learned a lot about how swing speed effects which ball’s perform better at those speeds. That’s not something the ball manufacturers talk much about.

First and Foremost, you all do such a fantastic job! Having Mark as a guest was a special treat. Definitely invite him back as his insight and perspective mixed along with the MyGolfSpy staff take on golf issues was a definite Win-Win!

Great episode hosting Bob Parsons owner, founder and voice of PXG commercials. This episode was so refreshing to hear his philosophy on club building, how he got to start PXG, personal life experience and how failure can be anyone’s best asset! HighFive for sharing Bob and PXG backstory!

There was a guy in one episode that was openly content with sexist and racist club rules and policy as long as they didn’t break any laws. Stopped listening after that.

Love the banter back and forth. You feel like you’re sitting with your buddies and they’re talking golf. Miranda is excellent

Good podcast with great reviews and insights on products. Leave your political quips and views to yourself. If I wanted political talk I’d listen to something else. Stick to golf, that’s why people listen.

I didn’t find this until recently and have been catching up on the archives. The equipment reviews are top notch, the team is fun to listen to, and i love the pragmatic way of thinking about equipment and testing and applying rigor to my game.

Best golf equipment podcast around. Love love love it. If you can produce more episodes, please do...I promise I’ll listen. Thank you and keep it up.

I am a newbie to golf but am obsessed with learning more about the women involved in the game. I was listened to a few of your podcasts and really like the product content. But I was really excited to see your podcast about improving media coverage of the women’s game and players. I haven’t found many podcasts that cover this area (or they started to and then stopped). Anya had so many terrific points to share and I was very impressed with the commentators insights and realism with the subject. I would love to hear more (I will check your later podcasts) and maybe your female listeners are now at 2%! 🙂

Watching paint dry would be more enjoyable. Miranda Mason’s voice could break glass and Tony Covey puts off a smug, “I know better than you” vibe. Plus, their knowledge of golf gear is underwhelming. There are much better podcasts out there. Don’t waste your time here.

Absolutely love this podcast. The best hour of my week is listening to the NPG crew take a no BS approach to what’s going on in the golf industry, what works, what’s crap, and what you need to decide for yourself. As proof, Miranda had the most insightful comment ever in episode 42 - sour apple Skittles are THE WORST! Bring back lime and make life right again. Nothing to do with golf, but solid proof that TRUTH is spoken here!

I’ve been playing golf for nearly 30 years. The internet has allowed us to uncover reviews about everything but who is really doing those tests and do they really know anything about golf! The team at MyGolfSpy are part of the solution. In the past year I have used their reviews on many of the golf items I have purchased. I can also say that their ball test has revealed something that was always a mystery to most average golf consumer. Bottom line is we want to get value for what we purchase. I love the podcast and info you guys provide. But for the love of god, please try to equalize the vocal levels

Just some dbags talking about golf. Acting like they know things. No real stats or numbers or trends. I guess “Extensive golf equipment testing” can be extremely loosely used since no one really does that.

Current topics, new equipment, and new findings. Cuts through all the media filters to give you a better idea of what actually helps or doesn’t help golfers. They will challenge golf cliches and widely accepted views but asking why and then getting data to find the answers.

This is the place for pure info for the average golfer be it equipment or balls. Unbiased and excellent info. A must for any golfer who want to do the best they are capable of.
