This is my favorite gaming podcast because it is about Nintendo, the games I grew up with!

Love NVC but I feel like it’s worth mentioning, without getting specific or mean, that the shrieking and raising of voices is really hard to listen to lately. I’m constantly riding the volume to compensate. If people are gonna yell at least mix it so it’s listenable…. I love you guys, but I think this podcast is worth the honest feedback

Logan is the true fanboy that was made for this show without a doubt, my favorite episodes include Per, who provides the old school history to compliment Logan’s real love for the big N. Jada is just an all around gamer that is the nice middle ground with more fair critiques and comparisons to games outside of Nintendo. The big one for me.. anytime I hear Reb is on the episode it’s a 50/50 chance I’m turning it off unless the topics are just appealing enough to me to manage and tune her out. The “nyaaah” part of her contributions are the worst as they tend to be amplified by her talking over the other guests. Kat Bailey was contrarian, but she was cooler and made more fair points without having to apologize for herself like a 14 year old. I still will continue to get the thing, but Reb really doesn’t contribute much.b

Logan is a great host and is knowledgeable and has good takes. Lobe Brian and Seth is tolerable though hole isn't confident in any opinions. Jada does a good job representing h her brand of nintendo fandom. So why would I score lower? Reb's high pitch voice is sooo annoying - like nails on a chalkboard. Seriously she has a super annoying personality but really hurts my ears when she talks over everyone.

This is honestly my favorite video game podcast and it always has been! Long live NVC!

There’s a level of joy and optimism that comes from listening to Nintendo fans get excited and that’s why this is the only gaming podcast I listen to. This podcast is happy, it’s cute, it’s a bright spot in a dark world. Like Nintendo.

I have listened to many Nintendo podcasts and this is by far my favorite!

This show has become more and more unlistenable through the years.

Logan is doing a great job as host! He knows his stuff.

I love the show, but Logan Plant ruins it. He comes off arrogant and dismissive. His tone puts me to sleep. He lowers this score to a 3 out of 5 stars. Oh and Tom Marks is an idiot. Complete moron. IGN needs to kick him to the curb.

Have always enjoyed to show, but with Logan at the helm it is a must listen! Love all the other hosts too: Seth, Jada, Reb, and guests. Great mix of fan stories, game criticism, and industry updates. On Nintendo voice chat, they are clearly “playing with Power!”

I wish all of the ign podcasts would just talk about games and the consoles. Every ign podcast has devolved so much into political and economic talk that quite frankly they are so uneducated about. This is entertainment and entertainment about entertainment, talk about games, talk about hardware, and pretend you’re actually grateful to be experiencing the incredible things that we get to everyday in gaming.

I’ve been listening to NVC since the Jose Otero days and it’s unbelievable how instantly Logan has raised the quality level on this show. He clearly has a vision for the podcast and just has a natural talent for hosting. Still early in the Plant era, but he might be the best host the show has had in its history. Exciting times for Nintendo Fans and this podcast really killing it right now.

I haven’t been listening long and I feel I can’t go in the backlog and listen because they’re set for that specific time, still though, I’m impressed by how you can set up a great episode. Can’t wait for switch 2

I generally like the content of this show, but I feel like a large part of the time the host panel feels bloated. They are frequently accidentally running into each other when another person is done talking.

The podcast is mostly fine but they seem to have the Steam Deck confused with a blue whale.

I used to really like this show but over the past year it has gone downhill. Gone are the days of happy game reviews and now all it seems I get is negativity and finger wagging.

Every time this guy is on the podcast, I am subjected to bad audio feedback from whenever Seth is talking. The show is great, but please keep him off the show until he gets a new one!

This is the best Nintendo Podcast out there! The panel is very knowledgeable and entertaining. I would like to shout out Seth Macy in particular he is very hilarious and it’s cool that there another dude out there who’s into the same nerdy stuff I am into.

If only they would say the games that they are talking about more often. For some reason, Video Game journalists and podcasts have a tendency to say the name of a game once then never saying it again even when they continue to talk about it. Just would make it easier to learn what you are talking about because most of us are listening to this while doing other things.

This is a good show and I like most of the rotating panel. However Seth Macy is the worst. He is the most self absorbed, egotistical and annoying person on any podcast. When he hosts, it might as well be called Seth Macy Chat. He brags and humble brags about things no one cares about, even the panel of guests. To the point where it seems the panel is becoming uncomfortable about how much he’s talking about himself and/or things having nothing to do with Nintendo. And he regularly says he doesn’t play Nintendo games and just plays COD non stop like I did when I was a little kid. Other than him, love the show, keep it up!

I came late to the switch, around tears of the kingdom. I had fallen off of video games in general recently but Nintendo around the Wii era. The switch has definitely got me back into gaming. This show has helped me find new games to play without wasting wasting money on duds and connect with the switch in a really enjoyable way. I went back and listened to every episode from the beginning of the switch era and look forward every week to new episodes. The hosts and panel members are knowledgeable and have a good eye for great games and I’ve been able to fill my switch based on their recommendations. So thanks a bunch, keep up the good work and get the thing.

While I first sank into the podcast during the José Otero era, I continued along its evolution. One thing this podcast has never lost is its love for the company, respect for one another and pure consistency. Seth Macy can do no wrong. Thank you for keeping us entertained for years (even during the news droughts)!

Honestly, this new host Seth Macy just makes NVC that much more engaging for me! He’s funny and witty and charges up the podcast with some of that electric charm and being able to hold space for podcast regular contributors. Especially leading up to the enigmatic Switch 2, there hasn’t been tons of Nintendo related stuff coming out and he still somehow keeps me coming back to these shows every week.

You said you “will forever be in my debt if I rate and write a review” the NVC. Well……you are forever in my debt now. I will be calling soon. Thanks.

Seth and Peer are great. But the surrounding cast has really diminished over the years and it’s a shame.

An absolute must-listen for all Nintendo fans. Current host Seth Macy is hilarious and all the rotating roster of panelists are charming and each bring a unique perspective to bear.

I really like how they are all open to each other not only that i’m learning a lot about a but ton of different games that are coming out or already out on nintendo switch like amazing it’s so funny and very relatable to me and others too im dying to get more but i have 2 unnecessary question for Seth how many jokes do you pull in to one game review if you only were able to only to have one game for the switch which game would it be?

Seth Macy is a good host who is not afraid to share his opinions, unlike the typical wishy-washy host. Enjoyable listen.

I know you’re only supposed to go to Apple Podcasts to leave a five star review to support your favorite shows, but this is a rare example where I had to find a place to post some criticism. I’ll take almost anything in terms of a video game podcast to fill my lonely hours, so my bar is on the floor. NVC should be a no brainer, but Seth is such a terrible host I felt the need to tell the IGN overlords somehow. Where’d you find this guy, a frat house in 2005? He feels too old, too slow, too dumb, and woefully out of touch. You have great panelists that are constantly brought to his level with the easiest jokes and unnecessary tangents. Please let someone who feels like they should be hosting a podcast in 2023 do just that. Maybe I wouldn’t turn it off after 10 minutes every week.

Seth, you’re phenomenal. Thanks for just being authentically you on this podcast. Same for the rest of the crew, you’re all doing a fantastic job. Not every episode is pack full of content, and some episodes go off the rails, but your group dynamic makes listening a joy. Everyone is unabashedly who they are, and Seth, your personality really sets the tone for that. Thanks for brining us all the great Nintendo content week after week, Ninfriendos. Keep on keeping on!

I like podcast, however, can we get another host? The annoying tangents Seth makes gets old very quick. Please bring back Casey or let other folks take the hosting responsibilities. We get it, he’s not a regular dad, he’s a cool dad 😒.

AS MUCH AS I want to say I like this podcast because of the info, and topics I HATE SETH he is so annoying just talking over guests and thinks buds the main character… someone needs to tell he’s just delusional…

I think Calamity Ganon from botw was demise from skyward sword . One when we first see him his flying around like a flying snake note there are no wings flying like demise did skyward sword. Two when we fight him he turns into a giant shekai monster so theory debunked right wrong the hyrule Encyclopedia clearly states that his form changes every generation and when he transformed into the giant bore it simbleises thes era in hyrule where hunting have become more common and hyrule is mostly wilderness
